721  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Gold hard fork has happened on: October 24, 2017, 05:17:22 PM
Thought it was schedule to happen on Nov 1..

lol there is no Fork on the Nov 1st

Bitcoin Gold Fork was yesterday but i dont believe anyone has received their coins yet.

However, there is another fork coming in Mid November so stay tuned for that. Its for Bitcore
The snapshot was done yesterday, no wallet is released yet.

Anyone have a noticed to miner bitcoin gold ? i read use equihash , but when start mining ? .
By the looks of things at the moment, never. The BTG dev team have proven to be quite amateurish, they can't deliver half of what they've announced.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: October 24, 2017, 03:58:38 PM
I don't have a zcash mod.
We don't know much about bitcoin gold, but bitcoin cash has been a success so far #4 on the toplist of altcoins. Larger than litecoin, dash, zcash, monero etc.

I wonder why, could it be because there is no open source miner you can steal from?
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: October 24, 2017, 03:36:21 PM
Do I need to link my address again if I deposited more bitcoins on it after I've chatted with transition bot?

No. A linked address is linked. It's about the address.
When the distribution time comes, the amount in that wallet address at that time is taken into account.

Just imagine that if it would be done different, people will link a wallet, then move their Bitcoin, link the new wallet and so on...

Cool thank you.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Green everywhere on: October 24, 2017, 03:27:26 PM
It will be red within a few days because we have another fork coming up. I am not buying anything right now because it's impossible to predict how this will all continue.

There will never be a time when it will be easy to predict the market. If you want to play ball, you gotta enter it at some point, best to enter it when its bleeding, rather than when it's going moon.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: October 24, 2017, 03:25:17 PM
I received few months my free monero coin from smoothie.  I'm interested to setup amd mine this coin but my problem is I don't where to start building my rigs and what are proper specs for each part of the rig is efficient. Anybody wants to help. I watch already too many guides on youtube but its all general and I'm worried about power computation because it might explode.

I can't help except to recommend checking out here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MoneroMining/

Checkout http://monerobenchmarks.info/list.php
7990 is a good work horse, I have a few from the good old bitcoin gpu mining days. 7850 is the most cost effective gpu you can buy, but you do need a dozen to make it worthwhile. The new Vega 56 and 64 gpus have the best hash/watt so they scale up really nice. Nvidia GPUs generally suck for cryptonight mining so stay away from them. rx 470 480 570 580 with blockchain drivers and custom memory mappings get you really good hash rate as well. Also amd ryzen CPU perform very well, almost up to par with GPUs, xenons with AES are decent as well if you have access to server farms.
727  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: October 24, 2017, 03:08:28 PM
Investing in trading is a serious matter. And if you do not know it and just enter it you will definitely lose money and it will affect you especially if you have all your savings in crypto. So if I ask you to study it first well. It is better that you only have half your savings on your trading capital. To find out how trading is
If had read the actually post you would know that OP isn't going to be actively trading their capital. They stated that they would buy in at the next dip and hold for at least 5-10 years. So we're talking about a rather long term trade.

I can't recommend putting all your savings into cryptocurrency die to obvious reasons but you've made a very good selection of coins to invest in (I also like the ratio's). So if you're very confident that it's going to be a good investment than why not do it.
Hah, holding for 5-10 years. It doesn't work that way, especially if you have all you got on it, you'll compulsively check the price every few seconds and eventually make an emotional decision and you'll be at a loss.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining bitcoin gold on: October 24, 2017, 02:48:15 PM
Pool to mining BTCG http://pool.gold/

Mining is available few days past fork time.
That's not a pool, just a simple wordpress blog.
729  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: October 24, 2017, 02:30:27 PM
You wont burn your CPU mining monero, it's a slow algo and doesn't waste too much power, I use fanless minipcs to coin-hive on freebitco.in and they've never overheated.

And what about the laptop? I have a macbook pro (2010 or 2011 edition). It becomes hot and becomes very noisy when mining is 50% or more.
So I try not to mine on it.. Several years ago it was burnt, now I'm trying not to overheat it
Sounds like it has airflow issues, should get it cleaned.

There are so many altcoins to choose from, growing ICO pipeline is making that a bigger problem! You need to first come up with your risk appetite keeping your long term goals in mind. Most ICO's are bound to fail but some that survive will provide investors great returns in the mid to long term. While none of us have a crystal ball, it is imperative investors do most their own research, look at alternative data-sets that can help model risk investing in specific ICO's. At Securecoin Capital, we believe our proprietary understanding of an ICO's visible/invisible cybersecurity hygiene is one such data-set Smiley LEARN MORE @ http://securecoin.capital/cryptohygiene

We have now graded ~100 ICO's that started in the month of October. You can review these grades across 3 updates available to our members OR follow us on Twitter to get ad-hoc updates (https://twitter.com/currencycapital)

731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 24, 2017, 02:26:29 PM
oh boy, wouldn't have thought that the market reacts as predicted by everyone. broke my golden rule and touched my btc stash yesterday to purchase at ~ 0.014 and it already worked out pretty well

glad it worked out for you. broke my rule and sold monero yesterday. fortunately didn't end too disastrously as i quickly re-bought. who the fuck cares about bitcoin gold? monero is the best. i know it. you know it. everybody knows it.

People like free money man, I highly doubt BTG will even launch, yet I sold all my alt coins because of their snapshot, thankfully I bought back in time.

Without BTG replay protection, it's not safe to import your keys even if you've moved your coins after the snapshot
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Green everywhere on: October 24, 2017, 02:01:15 PM
Price of some coins for sure will continue to rise, but in my opinion it will be only few coins. Personally I keep Sys, SC, DGB and Burst.
Time will show where it will hit Wink

No alt coin is immune to an increasing bitcoin price, they're made to bleed.

I agree that the price of Bitcoin has a huge impact on the price of altcoins. However, I do not expect a sharp increase in BTC price in next 2-3 weeks. I think that the price of BTC should stabilize now, which will allow the altcoins price to rise.

Yeah that's my best too, but I think it will happen after we see what the fuck segwit2x is all about, quite the drama and it brings a lot of uncertainty, it's a totally dick move and even if it turns out to be fluff it will surely affect bitcoin's price, which way, hard to tell.

Difficult to say as always uncertain times, I wouldn't open any positions until the segwith2x dust settles. I expect bitcoin to take some punches now that the BTG snapshot is done and another pump right before the segwit2x
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Minersware.com on: October 24, 2017, 01:11:18 PM
Domain registered 10 days ago with obvious fake whois info, it wouldn't even take much to get that domain killed. Filled the form at https://www.icann.org/wicf/ now watch the domain go poof.

AND IT'S GONE

740  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Need an Adsense Partner. on: October 24, 2017, 12:37:38 PM
Only makes sense to do this for you after at least two months running adsense on the website. In that case even if google kills the account for whatever reason there wont be any loss.
