No one seems to count their wealth by the seemingly obvious metric of 'fiat value'. Who at home tells their other half 'Guess what, I am now worth 'X' Bitcoin', rather than 'Guess what, I am now worth X thousand dollars (or EUR / GBP)'. Houses, cars and holidays are not generally advertised in terms of their Bitcoin price. I know how I calibrate my spreadsheet... I’m not just in this for the money. I ideologically support it. I contribute to the infrastructure, help code wallets etc. The BTC price is a barometer for success as a crypto. I’d prefer 0.1 BTC and a usd rate of 50usd, than 0.02 and 100usd. Just HODL your horses, should be apparent by now when BTC is gaining traction after a dump alt coins get dumped, force of nature. |

Explain please what is happening to the pool - I have a hashrate stable at 70 KH / s, and the balance is less than 2 times than it should be. The balance is updated every 2 hours ... It's sad We have to switch to another pool or everything will be fine?  Same here man, it's those damn pool hoppers, watch the number of miners and hashrate of the pool right after we find a block :/ |

Sadly for me with my 1 nvidia 1070 8gb card after mining all last night i managed to get a whopping 30 coins Am i doing something wrong or is this coin getting too hard to mine? This is just stupid fucking rhetoric to get things for free. You aren't going to 'force' him to release his work for free. If push comes to shove, he, just like a lot of other developers that make their own miners stop making them. Then big farms who can afford to hire actual developers get easy high performance miners with no competition.
You lose, public developers lose, and private farms win. Go educate yourself before you make fucking retarded knee jerk statements. GPL licensing has absolutely no baring what so ever here. No one is going to take SP to court, no one is losing lots of money because of this (except big farms), and at the end of the day it really doesn't matter.
People use whatever rational they want to justify their actions. Only thing GPL licensing is helping in this case is megafarms and I'm guessing your two rigs don't qualify for that status.
Oh yeah, sp is a modern day robin hood who steals from the open sources and gives it to the little miner. Get your head out of the sand man. He probably sells his mods after he's bored with them on his +100 gpu farm. And no little miner with 5-10 GPUs can profit from 2-3% speed increase, so big farms always win. |

There has been discussion that coinbase will list Monero after the multisig is completed. After multisig implementation how long will it take when coinbase lists monero? Isn't listing monero on coinbase like playing pornography in a monastery? I dotn get your point. Why you think so? Monero is a true cryptocoin. Different from Bitcoin is that you cant trace transactions. So easy job for Coinbase to not work with customers that they are prohibited. With Bitcoin, they need to check many transactions to be sure they are not dealing with customers they are not allowed. Multisig will open many doors. I can't even start to comprehend the shit you need to go through in order to run a service such as coinbase and comply with AML/KYC regulations, wouldn't monero basically make their job impossible to stay compliant? They'd have no idea where and how those moneros were obtained, wouldn't they? Or what they don't know they can't be held accountable for? |
