Oh boy, this is interesting now. Is it mining monero?
Why not run a multipool as well, so we can point some real hardware at our freebitco.in balance ;p

Where is that? I'm not able to find it on the site.
whats this? is this how the freebitco.in works? can you explain this and how do i know how may hash do i have.?

If you're among the selected users a tab named 'mining' should appear in your account, otherwise don't worry about it yet.
1122  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: September 19, 2017, 08:19:49 PM
Thanks that explains it. I just wondered if it was restricted to certain browsers or something. I didn't want to miss out.
Absolutely!

And actually, it works even on iPhone :]

Haha yeah, but its such a drain on battery its not even funny. And only getting 5 h/s Cheesy
I got some minipcs with intel atom cpu that do 15 h/s they're fanless and barely drain any power.

i'm also in this test Smiley

and yes it works also on Android  2 H/s but my phone is nearly 3 years old

@devs
i got some questions

is it possible to change the behaviour of the mining when the site reloads?
mining stops when you reload for free roll

are you adding our hashrate to your mining?
how do you calculate the payout? pps pplns or something different?

Use two tabs, one for free roll one for mining.

Now getting endless "Pool Connection Lost" errors on Mine77, the one pool that was actually working. Anyone else?

ETA: Port 8899.

I'm mining same port, no trouble

Don't bother it's stuck again.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO fundrising survive at 2018+? on: September 19, 2017, 03:04:05 PM
ICO is like kickstarter, so it'll most likely to survive until many years later, as you see that a project which held kickstarter by raising funds through Initial public offering or such also have percentage to be scam. basically the same as ICO so there's no need to worry, by the way even if ICO becoming obsolete, another method will appear.

Yeah, except the blockchain doesn't eat 20% of everyone's funding like kickstarter.

Most of you live in third world countries so you don't need to worry about getting nuked anyway.  Roll Eyes

Wow, what was that all about?

Probably some kind of tourette syndrome

Thanks, to the pickaxes again. ^_^
So mining is possible again? I was almost about to contact the OP about the problem. I was really looking forward to get into a coin like this that early Smiley
Great Stuff!
Yes blocks are being solved, but there should be a mandatory wallet update fixing this blockchain halting bug for good, not cool hashing aimlessly for more than a day.

So what's halting the blockchain? Malformed transactions?

1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO fundrising survive at 2018+? on: September 19, 2017, 12:45:17 PM
I think it will be alive and well but it feels like governments will step in more and more to try and protect their taxpayer's money.

This cracks me up so bad, it's funny cause it's so untrue.

1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you invest in an ICO on: September 19, 2017, 12:39:50 PM
A team knowledge should not rely on just its programming skills. Would you buy an iphone, just because it can do many things?

People in our days want to see design, user friendliness, they want to feel they have some trendy.

If a projects has terrible design (website and whitepaper) I don't mind a simple whitepaper, but at least it has to follow the directional guidelines of a professional booklet.

That makes me tick. Also the token sale process and detailed explanation makes me feel more comfortable if is detailed and friendly explained.

Design may sell, but it is code that makes things go in the long run. You can have many polished turds and people may buy them, but they're still just turds. Trends come and go, good code sticks forever.

P.S. I'd rather get AIDS than buy an iphone.

hello there,

God I hope they'll die out, but doubtful, the genie is out of the bottle and everyone is up for grabs of easy coins from the unsuspecting public.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: September 19, 2017, 12:02:20 PM
I would buy bitcoin (price is still low) and waves (they released new roadmap). I think there are also some good coins like hive around there.
Hodl your horses on buying bitcoin, word on the street is China is banning bitcoin AGAIN later today, expect another dip then quick recovery.
1138  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: September 19, 2017, 12:01:00 PM
I just don't know how some people referred that many *active* users.
By paying for ads.

Blockchain has stalled, I'll be contacting pool operators shortly to work on the issue. Smiley
I think a simple restart should fix it, but there is an underlying issue in the code that needs to be fixed.
Is there a testnet? Restarting pool daemons every time a block is stuck is clearly not a solution.
