People always have time to buy bitcoins, and seeing the progress of bitcoin, i don't think someone really needs to wait for the price to crash if they want to buy bitcoins, because no matter what the price is, if you buy today, you are definitely going to get a return after a period of time, but only if you have the patience to keep them with you and not to sell them when you see small price crash like right now. But it is also right that there are people always waiting for the price to drop so that they can buy more bitcoins, and for this, they also spread fake news about people so that people start panicking and that would cause a price drop if they start selling their coins all at once.
There are some people that go balls deep with bitcoin, like dropping their entire savings on it, so they panic on short term price drops and sell everything at a loss. Can't really do anything about that. They can't buy the dip because they're out of cash.

Bitcoin started falling and might fall upto $4800. The main support is at $4800, bitcoin markets supports doesn't works like other currencies as rumors and fake peoples makes panic between peoples to make the market fall and buy coins in cheaper price. Now its time!! Buy more BTC's because BTC is going to $10K soon!! Yes!! Last month this same f**k happened with us with JP Morgans speech and panic between peoples. Let bitcoin fall as much as possible and buy more coins that you can make more money. Bitcoin is the #1 Number One Online Currency now and popular in all over world. Now it starts falling and you will find rumors in google about fakes news to make panic between peoples. Bitcoin will be higher in $6000+ #ITS_TIME_TO_BUYTo be honest, I was surprised it took so "long" to correct. These surges tend to be quickly followed by depressions almost as impressive. But you're right, this is a market unlike any other and I've given up long ago to try and predict movement in the short term. So I'll stick to what has always served me well: it will rise again, if not in weeks, in months. The thing I now need to learn is that alts no longer follow Bitcoin's rise so closely! P.S. It's always a good time to buy! Alts need time for bitcoin to stabilize to follow, otherwise they just get dumped either when bitcoin goes up or down.

Domain registered 10 days ago with obvious fake whois info, it wouldn't even take much to get that domain killed. Filled the form at https://www.icann.org/wicf/ now watch the domain go poof.

I think it will get pumped again right before the 25th due to the two hardforks coming up.

If there is any "best founder ever" then it's undoubtedly the bitcoin founder. All the kids that popped up after him are just substanceless derivatives.
I've always thought there is a strong possibility the anonymous cryptonote author "Nicholas van Saberhagen" actually IS "Satoshi Nakamoto" N.S. / S.N. for one thing, as an obvious intentional clue. Second, Satoshi disappeared right around the time CN started. And when he left, he said he was leaving to "pursue other things". It's not a huge stretch to consider that a redesign/reboot of his best idea would be what that was. Very doubtful someone like him would just totally turn his back on what he'd already accomplished. It'd be very natural to want to start with a clean slate and design a "bitcoin 2.0" from the ground-up with no baggage of the 1.0 concept design. Finally, the #1 and maybe ONLY, biggest obvious FLAW, in bitcoin's design intending to be "money" is that it isn't fully fungible. Cryptonote (and thus, Monero) builds on the basic bitcoin design ideas to SOLVE that, and make the world's first crypto-currency that IS really "MONEY". Satoshi never took any credit for cryptonote, of course, so this is all just wild speculation, and for more IF Hal Finney was Satoshi (or part of the team) and was diagnosed with his terminal illness at that time, he certainly would've been "thankful for today" when he started up Bytecoin (XMR precursor) even if maybe he erred a little bit on trying to structure it with the premine (to provide funds for his family after he was gone, maybe... something that Satoshi or the Satoshi Team did not do when they started up the BTC genesis block, of course. Hal could be forgiven for that lapse in judgement at the time, and under the circumstances... I'd think. Doesn't detract from his legacy or reputation IMHO at all...) Make a FFS for a screenplay, we'll get Morgan Freeman to play Satoshi.

I think it will be the same as BTX, initially at 0.01 or there about, then comes the whale dump down to 0.0008 or there about.

^^^ try running ldconfig it might sort out your ssl issue.
Use LD_PRELOAD. I used to have to do it with cURL, too - Claymore for some fucked reason doesn't statically link it, so... you had to install the old-ass compatibility library for it (if your distro had one) and then LD_PRELOAD it. Statically linking openssl is rather stupid. It's horrid and needs to be patched monthly at best. You don't want Claymore to build another binary just because openssl fucked up, you get to only update openssl. But along with their shitty versioning it's quite the headache, we should've stopped using it years ago, but we're stuck with it. Actually, in the case of a MAJOR version update such as this one, it could make sense. But right now, OpenSSL < 1.0.0 isn't uncommon. cURL 3 is older than Jesus. On fedora I have 3 different versions to make things work openssl-1.1.0f-4.fc26.x86_64 compat-openssl10-1.0.2j-9.fc26.x86_64 openssl-lib-compat-1.0.0i-1.fc25.x86_64
1.1.0 comes as default, 1.0.2 for most stuff, 1.0.0 just for Claymore.

nice ... i guess that says it all then ... ... #crysx Great, glad we're finally on the same page. I was like you when I was young and naive and wanted to make the world a better place, then I got burned over and over again, and here I am today. If anything you'll get to be me once you mature and learned your lesson that society creates idiots just so it can eat them.

smart people do the best they can - with what is available to them without the behest and detriment to others in the process ...
greedy scum look after their pockets - and nothing else ...
just a wild guess - but bet you voted for trump - right? ... hehehe ... lotta good thats done so far ...
smart does not equal greedy ... understand that and know HOW to make the changes in your own life - to benefit yourself - your family - and the rest of society ... the way you are now - well ... what else can i say ...
sold your mum anytime recently? ...
you will learn - possibly too late - but you will ...
#crysx
Thankfully I'm not from the USA and thankfully Trump is not the president of the world. And I don't believe in voting nor democracies or society. I only get to abuse them for my benefit. I'm doing fine so far, I don't have to wake up each morning to go to work, I get to travel around, got a nice family, house, 3 cars, no debt, no stress, no drama. So what should I be learning? Should I be spending my time trying to be useful for a society that will gladly let me die for the "greater good"? No thanks man. I'm doing fine on my own.

Damn chrysophylax, 5 posts one after another? Why so anxious? Here have some prozac.
And for the record sp has never released anything profitable, but at least he's not a pussy like you with a self-moderated thread.
answer by answer ... point by point ... at least im not a coward like you or bensam that produce nothing but hot air ... and STILL build your farms to benefit no one else but yourselves ... you know - i might have a bone to pick with rune - but you two are really pathetic ... which is why i think you are one and the same ... if not - you should be ... but ho hum - thats the way things work ... we will have our components of our hard work ready for the community of miners soon enough ... you however - will have your miserable existence bellowing out your crap in a continuous stream of crap ... with nothing beneficial for ANYONE to reap from ... back to work - compilation done of the new miner ... now to test for the next few days - and release ... you know - because all we do is bitch - right? ... pffft! ... imbeciles ... #crysx Yeah you do that, I'm sure someone eventually will tap you on the shoulder and say good job, then you can feel important. I don't want to be beneficial for anyone other than my family, I know what's important in life. I don't need approval from strangers on the internet to feel competent and important. What's funny is you can spend years optimizing an algo and you'll eventually hit bedrock, I on the other hand can always buy more GPUs, and win. aaand this is THE reason why society is the way it is ... YOU - and the likes of YOU ... if people help people help people - we would be a better society - a better community - and the selfishness that you portray over and over again would be eliminated - and as such almost EVERYONE would care - about you and your family also ... but alas - this world has people like you - and the idiocy that comes with such statements as yours ... i dont need anyone to tap me on the shoulder to thank me - i just want to see them happy that they dont need to pay for such things as miners coming from people that it doesnt belong to ... good on you mate ... im sure this greed makes you an awesome person - as can be seen in your profile name AND your persona here ... #crysx You go bro! Make the world great again! You have my vote! Smart people adapt to reality, they don't try to change it.

It is installed, I checked the version and it is openssl version OpenSSL 1.0.1e-fips 11 Feb 2013 I am not sure what is causing XMR mining to not work. I tried it and on CentOS I am getting a strange error I don't get with the Eth or Zec Claymore miners. It is odd as everything is in there ok. ./nsgpucnminer: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1.0.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Here is my bash file. ./nsgpucnminer -xpool -stratum+tcp://xmr-usa.dwarfpool.com:8005 -u redacted -p x I am sure I am missing something simple, I have been staring at terminals all day. LOL I've just uploaded v10.2 for Linux.
You need to install openssl 1.0.0 It's not installed you installed 1.0.1, openssl versioning is quite convoluted.

Hodling since ICO. This is one of my best gainers.
What ICO? This is Monero, not some charade with a fancy website promising to suck your dick if you give them your bitcoins.
