1881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People Who Suddenly Get Rich From NFT (non-fungible tokens). Is it true? on: January 16, 2022, 03:13:36 PM
Lucky are those who get rich through NFTs. Yes, I've been hearing lots of testimonies from people who got rich through NFTs but not everyone who grabs opportunities from it gets lucky because most of them were just blessed as they carried by too much hype. Those who invested late usually ended up losing.  NFT is just good for a short-term goal so grabbing opportunities at an early phase would be an edge.
1882  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the best ways to choose a casino on: January 16, 2022, 02:49:09 PM
Always choose top casinos when it comes to positive reviews and feedbacks. You must always check the legitimacy and good reputation of a casino site by doing research and being skeptical before registering. To be honest, there's no such thing as a perfect casino and there will always be some negative comments yet choose a casino that is providing a good service in all aspects.
1883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: January 16, 2022, 02:22:45 PM
To be honest, it's hard to check the legitimacy of new projects these days because most of them were created to scam people. However, if you really want to invest in new projects, you have to do a series of research to have assurance that you wouldn't get scammed. You must check their whitepaper as well as the team behind them but as for me, I would still prefer investing with well-established coins.
1884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just seeing what interest there is for another Betnomi Poker Series on: January 16, 2022, 02:09:43 PM
This sounds interesting and would love to do a single or more tournament each week. I'm into poker and doing series would be a lot exciting. Betnomi is a trusted site though it will be my first time using it. I've been hearing lots of positive feedback about this site though so I don't doubt using it.
1885  Economy / Gambling / Re: Shady behavior of Duckdice.io moderators and Admins on: January 16, 2022, 01:18:14 PM
First, let's deal with the first point Richards making;

he was muted by one of our moderating team because he has previously been involved in the nefarious activity on what we detected was an old muted account that he was able to commit by having access to private messaging on the platform.

he asked our support team whether he could create a new account, he certainly can, however, it doesn't mean he's entitled to continued use of the chat function.

his other claims regarding 'mod only muting to get more rains' etc is .....well ridiculous.

DuckDice Live Support

I guess it would be better if you have explained things well to him before muting him. It really looks shady if you guys would mute him without giving any concrete reason. Sometimes, miscommunication could only lead to serious issues. Because of what happened, lots of accusations about your site have appeared. I hope you could fix and clear things out if possible.
1886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local league or international league on: January 16, 2022, 05:28:52 AM
Both could actually be profitable but things will depend on the entertainment and excitement that these leagues could provide. As for me, the international league has a higher demand because of the player's fan base and the international federation has more to offer than the local league. But I don't think picking one would be a problem for both could provide the profit that gamblers need.
1887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 15, 2022, 10:05:19 PM
The odds are really good for Magsayo. So for those who believe this will be an upset, this is a very good one to bet on.
Russell is the favorite of bookies here because of his record, but upsets can happen anytime.
Almost x4 for most bookies if you put your money on Magsayo, so let's see if this will not change once the fight is getting near.
The KO percentage is 70% vs 56%, in favor of Magsayo. So yes, this is not bad to based on.

Very good odds indeed for Magsayo fans but risky though. These odds could go higher if the bookies will release the other options/markets like the winning method. Magsayo via KO win will go as high as 8 i think, double with the ML.

If this fight will go to the distance, chances are this is money in the bag for Russell so Magsayo's chance here is winning by KO so betting for him via that option is the way to go, for me.

I like the KO odds, I think you are right, probably it's high than the ML but the odds won't be available now, so let's wait for it to confirm. Magasyo has a good chance for KO, he has the power and he is more active, at the same time, he understands that if the fight will go into distance, his chances of winning will reduce so he will surely find a way to score a KO and make a big news to the world of boxing.

Same here, so I'm looking forward to the odds to be up soon so betting early will happen. With the world is hyping the return of the champion, the Filipinos are not buying it as they trust their own kabayan to win the fight and become the champion. Good luck to us, let's bet where we think we can win big time and that's when we get an odds like 5.00 and up.

The odds are in favor of Magsayo despite the said risk but I believe that betting on him is worth the risks. Filipino community will surely support him because just like other Filipino boxers, Magsayo is also well dedicated and too prepared for this match. Let's all look forward to an exciting fight.
1888  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid crisis leaves Sri Lanka on brink of bankruptcy on: January 15, 2022, 09:43:26 PM
Aside from this crisis and bankruptcy, the other bad news that I've read in Sri Lanka are those kids that are left by their parents that have passed away due to the virus. It's sad and more problems are existing due to this pandemic.

But I regret why China got involved in this crisis after they wanted to help?
Yes, there's the help but there's also the inner intention of what they want and that's why they're helping. This is not only for Sri Lanka but also in many countries in South East Asia and as well as African countries. It is the known debt trap of China.

It sounds really heartbreaking that even innocent children have to suffer. Lots of countries have experienced bankruptcy during this pandemic but we have no choice but to move on and rise again. It's a good thing that some countries are offering help. I believe that Sri Lanka and other affected countries could still rise and recover in the future. They only need support and help from other countries.
1889  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or altcoins on: January 15, 2022, 03:37:01 PM
I have been watching this market for a long time.

It seems that in the early part of a bull market, Bitcoin goes up faster than altcoins (ie Bitcoin dominance goes up.)  In the late part of a bull market, Bitcoin still goes up but altcoins go up even better (ie Bitcoin dominance goes down.)

In a bear market, altcoins fall faster than Bitcoin (ie Bitcoin dominance recovers somewhat but has to wait for the next bull market to go really high.)

So, it would seem the correct play is to buy altcoins at this point, and then convert them into Bitcoin (or sell) when you see the bull market ending?

Any thoughts?

[I used to post as BobK71, and am using a new account after some logistical mixup.]
Bitcoin is king coin other word we can say mother coin and alter coin is supporting coin so obiasly we can say bitcoin is best but for trade and short-term profit alter coin is suitable.

Bitcoin will always be on top of other altcoins and as for me, no altcoins could achieve the same achievements that it has reached. When it comes to long-term hold, I would still personally prefer Bitcoin sine it has shown great potential through the years compared to newly existing altcoins. Bitcoin is profitable especially when being held in the long term run because it continuously develops each year.
1890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoin will go 10x this year? on: January 15, 2022, 02:55:28 PM
Hi everyone, it's already 2022, and I would like to know your opinion, which alicoin will grow by x10 or even more this year?

Personally, I bet on ecosystem projects that have a lot of fundamentals and are underestimated. I think that projects like NEAR and Cosmos will be able to do x10 in 2022, how about you?

I think that the projects related to play2earn, metaverse, NFT, that is everything that is related to virtual reality in some way, will have the best chance for increases x10 and more.
In my opinion, AXS has a good chance for further nice increases
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/axie-infinity/

Metaverse and NFTs will surely strike better this year especially those who have started building a good foundation and would release better developments this year. AXS has a huge potential since the Axie Infinity is so alive despite the price drop down of SLP. If developers would release new features, I'm sure that SLP and AXS could strike 10x this year.
1891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your shitcoins? on: January 15, 2022, 02:36:46 PM
Of the almost 30 shitcoins that have been in the ERC-20 and BSC wallets since 4 years ago, now there are 4 that have risen, and it didn't take long for me to immediately sell them on the market for fear of dying again.
It is a new opportunity for you to immediately clean up the garbage that has been piling up in your wallet all this time and releasing it as soon as possible is a very good option without any further consideration.

Selling shitcoin when the price has gone up is the right choice because there is no point in holding on to shitcoin for a long time, shitcoin is a coin that has no fundamentals and has no future and its price is often manipulated by influencers so it will pose a risk of loss if we don't know the right time to buy and sell it.

There's no sense holding shitcoins if they're losing their value so it would still be better to sell it when the price is still high. I have sold a few shitcoins before at their peak price and they don't have a value now. Shitcoins aren't worth all the risks so it would be better to take advantage of them than lose their value by just holding.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do Casinos ask for so much during withdrawal? on: January 15, 2022, 02:03:37 PM
There are gambling sites that ask for KYC during withdrawal which usually cause trouble for most users. They're doing it for verification purposes but to be honest, not all reputable gambling sites do it. Some gambling sites offer smooth withdrawal which is preferred by most gamblers so you better read reviews about gambling sites that could provide smooth transactions without asking for KYC.
1893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Company on: January 15, 2022, 01:36:23 PM
Hello bitcointalknairs please I will like to get clarifications on something, I received an email from trading brokers that I can lunge my funds with them and they execute trades on my behalf but I am afraid of the legitimacy of such services because most of them always turn out to be scammers.
What is your experience with trading brokers?

That sounds shady so if you're having doubts or second thought, you better do a complete research about that broker so you would be able to check their legitimacy. It s important to check the reputation and legitimacy all the time than to risk our funds to possible scammers. Fraudsters are everywhere so we have to be careful.
1894  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want your happiness. on: January 15, 2022, 11:54:09 AM
Losses will always be part of trading and it's normal to commit mistakes but what is important is that we learn from them. Even trading professionals and knowledgeable about trading still commit mistakes since there's no such thing as perfect trading so don't lose hope if you fail for a couple of times because that's part of the learning process.
1895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Is The Safest Meme Coin To Invest In? on: January 14, 2022, 10:45:55 PM
Since Shiba Inu and Doge coin are too popular among other meme coins, I believe that it's good to invest with them yet there's no guarantee that they could provide safety because of the given fact that they're just memes coins. If I were you, instead of risking in meme coins, it would be better to invest your funds in reputable and well-established coins.
1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The faith of Altcoins in 2022 on: January 14, 2022, 02:40:39 PM
There will always be positive speculation about the market situation every year but 2021 isn't actually a bad year for crypto. I'm also too positive that things will get better this year despite the continued existence of the pandemic. I believe that more potential coins would strike a better price and more great projects would exist.
1897  Economy / Economics / Re: Is PayPal plannning to Launch of Own Stablecoin? on: January 14, 2022, 08:18:54 AM

Few Paypal users over the years. Paypal is a declining payment method already and to be able to stay in the competition, creating a stablecoin is just another attempt to make its customers stay on their platform. It's of course centralized. Seeing where they could go with this kind of plan which in the later years we'd be seeing a Paypal exchange where this Paypal coin will only be traded in the market having BTC/PAYPALCOIN.

That's what I personally experienced in using Paypal as well. They declined and held my funds for unknown reasons and their support isn't responsive. I've heard that they're planning to launch their own coin but I really find it too risky to use their app for their restrictions since it's centralized.
1898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any website without a dispute here? on: January 14, 2022, 07:00:41 AM
Each casino couldn't please all its users because, to be honest, no matter how reputable a certain casino is, there will still be unexpected lapses and drawbacks from it. Even casino sites with big names could be accused as scam sites especially for those who are having trouble with some issues like KYC, withdrawal, and deposit, or even those who didn't read and understand their term of services completely. These things are common but trusted casino sites are exerting efforts to fix issues that they're facing.
1899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 14, 2022, 01:42:28 AM
{..snip..}

I don't think he Spence is avoiding Crawford. Maybe it make sense to get the belt from Ugas first and then go after Crawford for the unification bout in mid or late 2022 that will put a lot of money in the table. Maybe Crawford can fight Thurman too if "One Time", can get over Barrios this February. So there's a lot of options still open for Crawford while waiting for Spence.

Or the schedule doesn't match the two, Crawford just won against Porter and then Spence trying to make a comeback so it's better for him to fight Ugas first as Crawford might not be available the soonest.

So once Spence take care of Ugas then maybe they sit down and talk. Forget about Thurman, he is not that active so he needs to climb back in the rankings. And he is fighting an overblown 140 lbs ex-champion so it doesn't really count.

Will see but I still consider Thurman a huge threat. He only loses once and we are counting him out already, I'm sure Thurman will win in his upcoming fight and Spence ( if he wins against Ugas) and Crawford should be ready as Thurman is not a leftover as some of you are thinking.

For me Thurman is a great boxer, really for an athlete like him, I would not take into account the times he lost, he is one of those few boxers who only lose when they are careless and do not train enough, in the next match, I think that the statistics will not favor him, I think they have underestimated him a lot, and that is not good, because the surprises he can give are the least expected, I think I would go for him despite what others think.

I trained in boxing at one time, and to be honest, before a fight the thing that determines the most that he can win is if the training is hard enough.

Thurman is an aggressive player when he's on the ring and his movements are unpredictable which I think is an edge over his opponents. Many might underestimate him but we can't deny that he's always well prepared during each match so I guess the next match would be favorable for him.
1900  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is for everyone but not everyone will be for Bitcoin on: January 13, 2022, 02:48:47 PM
That's the fact that we have to face that Bitcoin investment could only be perfect for those who can invest in it. It needs emotional and financial preparedness because knowledge and understanding about the basics of it aren't enough if we don't have enough allocated funds to invest in it. Bitcoin might not be for everyone but we can do something to change our fate. Saving and allocating a portion of our earnings so we'll have something to invest in it would be a good move.
