This is a little embarrassing but I have tried everything but cannot get v11 to work. I copied over my .bat file and for some reason the miner keeps picking a monero pool. I have tried the -epool but it comes up as a wrong unknown option. I am about to rip my hair out!
DON'T do any "bat files". put all your options into config.txt and delete dpools and epools .txt and run the executable without any parameters

Just tried that.

this is my parameters in the config.txt

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:14444 -ewal WALLET -epsw x -allpools 1 -cvddc 850,875,880 -cclock 1150,1190,1190 -mclock 2120,2045,2120 -mvddc 880,890,890 -ethi 16

and for every line it says unknown option

What am I doing wrong??
In your config.txt just put commands one lne at a time example
-epool
-ewal
Than in start.bat you put

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe

Thanks for your reply. I did exactly what you said.

When I started the miner it took the setx parameters but then the same problem

Unknown option -epool
Unknown option -ewal
^^^^^^^^  continued for every parameter in the config file
XMR: no pool specified

I downloaded this claymore v11 from the first page of the thread.

Hey Guys

I am using  Claymore with hiveos and in the second coin box there are a few options ......firstly it was ETH/Sia  but  then we got a msg saying the SIA  diff went up 10X due to the release of ASICS.......could somebody please save me the almost  impossible task  of trying to figure this out myself.

Options are siacoin, decred,pascal,lbry,blake2s and keccak. What would be the best option to mine in dual mode if i wanted to ...... please could somebody help here. Could i use any coin in the algo group and if i could please post an example of a string as im not very PC litereate

 thx in advance

v11.0:

- added new algorithm for dual mode: blake2s (stratum pools only), use "-dcoin blake2s" option.
- added new algorithm for dual mode: keccak (stratum pools only), use "-dcoin keccak" option.
- reduced devfee for dual mode, now it is 1.5%.
- for 2GB cards devfee is removed completely, i.e. on 2GB cards you can mine all ETH forks without devfee. Check Readme for details.
- added "-tstart" option.
- "-asm 2" option value now supports Tahiti, Tonga, Ellesmere, Baffin; in some cases it can be a bit faster in ETH-only mode.
- removed "-allcoins exp" option value.
- a few minor bug fixes and improvements.

Hi Claymore, ¿Is still needed to download this driver from AMD (Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition Beta for [Suspicious link removed]pute Driver for Windows® 10) in order to recover hashrate because DAG file problem?

try adding -mode 1

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:14444 -ewal WALLET -epsw x -allpools 1 -cvddc 850,875,880 -cclock 1150,1190,1190 -mclock 2120,2045,2120 -mvddc 880,890,890 -ethi 16 -mode 1

What i should set the on the -ethi switch for ETH ?
Leave it on default 8 or should i set it to 16 ?
Rigs are all stabil, will i get more shares, if I set it on 16 ? And how much I can go up ?

16 is the limit for ETH Intensity.

I got you now, Smiley so i cant compensate the ETH hash drop with little bit more core/memory/voltage increase/decrease?
Anybody with experience who solved that?

i feel i am late to the party because the last time i saw this thread was when claymore posted about the new version but i was inactive then..

can some kind person bring me upto speed please? so which coins are you guys mining with the new algo for dual.

For the blakes2 and keccak i see only few coins. are any of those profitable or like the posts i am reading just above about xvg.. which is like multiple algo thing better?

Thankyou

Imo best option is ethash + blake2s. My rx470 gives something like 28Mh/s + 1300Mh/s and other cool stuff is reduced fee.

Sounds like I need to tweak my Blake2s settings... seeing about half that on RX570 (no BIOS mode, though). Can you share what settings you have for the Blake2s side ?

Cranked my DCRI up to 70... now getting ~1500 MH/S on B2S with no impact on ETH mining. Awesome.

I dont think claymore is set up for blake2 solo mining, it works with cc miner but not with claymore

pools are shit claymore some have not paid in days , need to be able to solo mine blake or dual mining is over for me again

I think the isue is with the dwal and dpass settings

Just try with mode 1 and you will see  Smiley

I got you now, Smiley so i cant compensate the ETH hash drop with little bit more core/memory/voltage increase/decrease?
Anybody with experience who solved that?
Depends on what cards you have, of course.  If nVidia, try power limit around 65-75%, and around that.  For me, 70% seems to be the sweet spot and keeps my temps down, also.

Hello Guys
Can you help me configure the command line for Claymore 11 in order
To mine Ethereum ( MPH ) + Blake2s ( AhashPool )
Is there a way to make it work ?

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool europe.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20535 -ewal 999.clay -epsw clay -dpool stratum+tcp://blake2s.mine.ahashpool.com:5766 -dwal ****mXHJK3WDL15vFbD73VECT84N*** -dpsw x -dcoin blake2s -eworker LAD3ATI560,c=BTC -allpools 1

The problem is that i need to specify a currency for example: ID=Rig01,c=BTC

Thanks

The Rig and Currency strings go in the -dpsw parameter, not the -eworker parameter.  Instead of "-dpsw x", you should have "-dpsw ID=Rig01,c=BTC".  It's right there on the ahashpool site's main page.

I've set up keccak on a YIIMP pool. With pool difficulty set at 1024 (the same setting that the official SmartCash pools use), ccminer was getting about 50% bad shares due to low difficulty. We found the batch file has to use the "-m 2" switch to multiply the difficulty, or manually set difficulty higher to resolve this problem. Setting the pool difficulty to 2048 did not help.

People are having problems dual-mining ETH and SMART due to this 50% bad shares due to low difficulty issue. I can't find a difficulty multiplier param or difficulty modification param for Claymore miner. Does something like this exist?

Anyone know what might help me fix this problem on the pool?

Thanks

Difficulty is a pool related setting. You can decrease Claymore intensity (there is a parameter for that), or try tuning -dcri. However I doubt this is your goal here...
yes, totally understood. as i mentioned adjusting pool difficulty didn't affect the issue. Some miners (most ccminer builds for example) have params to adjust miner difficulty either by hard setting it or by multiplying it. I was curious if claymore had those same params under a different name but it seems not.

also i don't suppose anyone has managed to get a working keccak pool on yiimp?

My Nitro+ (8gb) prefers to be undervolted.  Each card is it's own microcosm, I have never found generic answers for RX 580's.  Even my Asus RX 580 is very different.

This is a little embarrassing but I have tried everything but cannot get v11 to work. I copied over my .bat file and for some reason the miner keeps picking a monero pool. I have tried the -epool but it comes up as a wrong unknown option. I am about to rip my hair out!
DON'T do any "bat files". put all your options into config.txt and delete dpools and epools .txt and run the executable without any parameters

Just tried that.

this is my parameters in the config.txt

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:14444 -ewal WALLET -epsw x -allpools 1 -cvddc 850,875,880 -cclock 1150,1190,1190 -mclock 2120,2045,2120 -mvddc 880,890,890 -ethi 16

and for every line it says unknown option

What am I doing wrong??
In your config.txt just put commands one lne at a time example
-epool
-ewal
Than in start.bat you put

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe

Thanks for your reply. I did exactly what you said.

When I started the miner it took the setx parameters but then the same problem

Unknown option -epool
Unknown option -ewal
^^^^^^^^  continued for every parameter in the config file
XMR: no pool specified

I downloaded this claymore v11 from the first page of the thread.
you said xmr no pool specified are you trying to mine xmr this is eth miner not xmr if you trying to mine anything else besides a eth or eth clone coin it won't work you need the claymores cryptonote miner

Well, i undervolted with 10 (870) and decreased dcri -1 (currently at -dcri 6) Eth hash now increased a little bit but keccak decreased which is normal. Seems like dcri setting is 6 for me .
I would like to ask if 870 mv core voltage at 1250 is safe for dual ETH=keccak on RX580 8GB, micron memory and 920mv safe for memory voltage at 2220.
Is it safe to go any lower for voltages to save some more power?

@Ratledge, could you share your .bat if you dual mine eth=keccak on rx580

I have a strange problem. I had a rig with h110 pro btc+ with 12gpu's and everything was working fine, but recently I added a 13th gpu and after that the EthDcrMiner64.exe started to use one of the cpu cores to the max. The result is that I get constant 50-60% cpu usage frome the dual core G3900 while mining, while one the other rigs Claymore doesn't use more that 5-10%. The cards are 11 AMD and 2 Nvidia. I added the 11th AMD. I don't remember if I've done anything else like changing settings or something. I restarted the rig several times, but with no change.
https://i.imgur.com/5GvzMtL.jpg

The problem with this is that the remote management is "mostly" not working. By that I mean, that most of the time I don't see the rig through the remote manager or the browser and every 2-3 minutes, for a couple of seconds I see it. I can't see it even when using the browser on the exact same rig and trying to load the console using port 3333. It's like Claymore can use only one core, but it needs more CPU power, which results in not being able to process the remote management.
This is a big problem for me since this is the way I monitor my rigs, and now I have to stop monitoring this rig because I get constant warnings that it has stopped while it hasn't. I have to manually check, once in a while, to see if it's actually working and that is really annoying.
