how to mine? where pools?
you cannot mine it now. but you can get some from faucets. or buy them from exchanges. WHY??  Pure PoS coin, with an initial mining period. Specs are on the OP, I believe. From quite some time ago, the only way to generate coins is to have an open and unlocked wallet when your coins are mature. I will assume that you mean breakeven, since so many people on this forum ( AND NOWHERE ELSE) abuse the term that way. I broke even several months ago, even based on my purchase. Yes we are currently looking at taking bigger steps in enforcing the rule. The most important thing is that we are trying, and that's as much they can ask from us.  One more reason to believe as I do, that we would be better off without ANY central governance. Everything they do impedes human progress, because long ago those in power realised something that the vast majority of us have not figured out. We need them the same way we need a tapeworm. This coin is pure PoS from the very beginning. No mining, only minting. You could get coins prior to launch if you had TRK. Now, either buy or pass on. That came out a bit rude, wasn't intended that way  Just a short synopsis. bio I hope you are up and running! I've been majorly busy all day, so I haven't yet grabbed the released wallet. That being said, the second prerelease wallet is working fine, and I'm not close enough to stake to sweat it. I'll upgrade tomorrow. Never did figure out what went wrong for tomcat, but I sent him the client I had and it synched right up. I think he had a corrupted download. |

for as long as you create addresses in truckcoin you will be able to import the wallet.dat to hyperstake, yes.
Is there no Hyperstake app data directory yet? Can we still buy Truckcoins in preparation to the fork? Not going to lie, not having a compiled Windows wallet at launch and clear block number for forking may be some sour notes on adoption of this coin. Thanks for your QTs raskul. Why were ZIM & XXX included? My fault  I told him to use those directories, since the .exe didn't include the .dll's and they are mostly the same for all coins. |

Shouldn't be a problem at all. Never start a project without adequate coffee. I'm compiling the daemon, not the QT. Which is the precise opposite of what I intended. Yes you can. You can get you HYP and dump both. You could stake both or dump both. It will be interesting to see what everyone does. I intend to stake both. I found out about this too late to purhcase a great deal of either, and that slightly concerns me. if the amount is trivial, will it still stake? I know it will with tek and HBN, but there have been a couple PoS coins where low holding meant no stake. Cough cough SYNC cough  I was trying to be polite, but since you mentioned it... YES!!! I am expecting my first stake in a couple of days so what do I need to do? Hubby has been syncing my wallet every couple of days so when it is the stake day do I need to do anything else except leave it open?
You might get it late. Mine took 3 days extra to stake. As you get to the maturity date, you need to leave the wallet open and unlocked until it stakes and confirms. Do you have coin control enabled? If so you can see the maturity date (well, calculate it) in the coin control window. You can keep it offline till just a bit before it is due to stake without consequence. |

When coins do get staked they move from balance to stake. Then after 25 confirmations they move back to balance. So they are only in the stake field for a short time. At least Tranz is paying attention Sorry about that, dhahgon, I missed the question when I answered you. |

If they're all on the same date or all in one block, sure. But once you open it, you need to leave it open and unlocked until it stakes and confirms. Usually don't take long. As for the android wallet, is there a peercoin or novacoin android wallet out there? If so, I would think it could be used as source with minimal modification. I'm not a programmer, so I may be making an invalid assumption. |
