I am 1583 in queue, and 3 days, 19 hours and 25 minutes.
Im new in this pool, so after 3 days i will get my payment to my wallett? Thanks! Smiley

Unless Wk runs into more snags, it won't be that long. He'll do a manual payout to catch up the queue. I've only been hashing here a little over a week, this happened once before. Not nearly as bad as this one, but he caught up the queue within a couple of hours of getting everything straight. This time might take longer, given the magnitude of the clusterfuck, but the queue is pretty much meaningless right now.
2902  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1300Th] Eligius: ASIC, no registration, no fee CPPSRB BTC + 105% PPS NMC, 877 # on: January 19, 2014, 07:00:03 PM
In my browser i see that - Estimated Position in Payout Queue 820.61279937 BTC are ahead in queue, putting this user's payout after a 32 block delay.

So statistics work for someone, not for me ? Now i see 3 versions - 1440, 820 and 52 BTC from my browser and peoples. But i don't see BTC in my wallet anyway, pool still don't pay and statistic work "bad" !

Listen son, you're not getting paid, ok?

You're convinced it's a scam so a couple of us have decided that what you really want and what you really need is to be scammed, that way you can be right!

I know it's tough hearing that you're going to actually get something right for probably the first time in your life, but after all your negative wannabe posts, we just couldn't turn you down. Consider it a kind gesture on our part, so what we decided to do, to prove to you that it was a scam was to donate all your mined coins to the pool. We felt that you'd really get a kick out of being right, so now you can be happy that everyone in the pool benefits at your expense. Think about that - the whole pool benefits. Awesome really, we win, you lose - but wait! - you're right! so you win too. See what I mean?

So whaddayasay? Sweet deal, eh?

The good news is that the kind folks of this pool know that you might not be interested in donating all your mined coins to the other pool users forever, so we've given you the option of choosing another pool or - get this - continuing to donate to the pool! Wow! I never knew this pool could be so great! And like you I'm pretty new to the pool, so I have to thank you for donating your earnings to the pool. You get to say it's a scam, we call it a donation, either way, you're a hero! What's it like to be right and totally loved and respected by the whole pool? I can't believe how you managed to do that, first I thought you were scammed, now I understand you donated your earnings to everyone else in the pool!

Awesome dude! Cheesy

You pool co-admin or ? If you admin i will wrote forum administration your words and pool never return in paying pool... And i win 3 BTC if you right  Grin

Luke-jr is the other guy running the pool. Ya know, the guy that wrote the software and Bfgminer?

Ole is pulling your chain, you idiot. The payout queue is irrelevant at this point. After every failure, and I mean EVERY failure that Eligius has had, they've done a manual payout that resets the queue. Granted, this is the longest one I've seen, but the stat results are the same.

He just migrated the whole thing to a new server. That's no small task.

I have NO association with Eligius other than hashing there. And I am not worried. The only company I could be associated with is AMT miners, and that only peripherally. They gave me their smallest machine to test out. I tested it primarily on Eligius. I'm good with both outfits.
2903  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1300Th] Eligius: ASIC, no registration, no fee CPPSRB BTC + 105% PPS NMC, 877 # on: January 19, 2014, 09:35:45 AM
Just an anecdote of "trust" here;
I moved from BTCGuild to Eligius DURING the db problems.....I'm not worried

Just a thought WK....what % pool fee would you have to charge to make it your "full time job"?
I suspect the vast majority of significant miners would stay even if you did charge a fee.....

I'm down with this idea. So far, in my limited experience, Eligius has been the easiest to use AND the most profitable. Granted, that is very limited experience, but still...

I guess I just like Whizkid's style. I'd pay a fee.
2904  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: stop mining at ghash.io you FUCKTARDS on: January 19, 2014, 09:04:29 AM
Someone please make a bitminter type client for p2pool

Really? If I make you a client you would mine p2pool?

If you're not being sarcastic....yes!

Do you think many other would? What type of hardware do you mine with? The "client" is just a guy over cgminer or bfgminer I can't remember which.
I would certainly try it. I'm still experimenting anyway. Started on Eligius, went to BTCguild while he's getting that fixed, was gonna try Bitminter next. Prolly still am. So far, I like Eligius the best, but time and experience will tell. Once I get more equipment, I'll probably mine more than one pool/method anyway. I have yet to try p2pool, so why not?

Congratulations Grin  She's lucky to have such an intelligent father.

Coming from you, I take that as a high compliment! Thanks!

Happy for you  Cheesy btw you got a nice mining rig. can u post another video? i like to see her hashing?

I'm working on a serious review, if you're referring to the miner that AMT sent me. As you may imagine, I'm doing about a thousand things right now, trying to keep the family smooth with the new baby and all that. Wife is in quite a bit of pain, things of that nature. Keeping on any one task for very long is simply impossible.

I'll have shots of the hashing screens, setup screens, etc. in the not too distant future.
2907  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1300Th] Eligius: ASIC, no registration, no fee CPPSRB BTC + 105% PPS NMC, 877 # on: January 19, 2014, 01:25:06 AM

Ok, software, server or DDoS collision, thats sounds better ? I talk only my opinion about that situation, situation looks like scam, smell like scam, etc. IMHO.

A very humble opinion. Like bugs are humble. And mud is humble.

Exercise your humility and keep your opinion to yourself during this time. WK doesn't need to waste effort on humble minds opinions. This outage has been handled professionally and there is no one who has put any amount of effort into reading the history of this pool who would doubt the effort occurring right now to bring the stats back online.

Yes, that outage is professionally handled. IYKWIM.

Wz doesn't charge a pool fee, and I think for that and other reasons, he deserves quite a bit slack here.

If you don't like it, there are other pools out there. Lots of pools have had database problems and delayed payouts. This is nothing new.

Lets move along and let the man do his work without whining about it.

Ok, ok i just tell you my opinion. But payouts still not work. My BTC still not in my wallet.

FWIW, I did switch pools while Whizkid is getting this straight. I was gonna anyway, because I'm testing out a miner that I was given for that purpose, and I figure one less thing hanging it up. I'm coming back. I make less on BTCguild, by rather a lot.

That being said, do read before posting. It makes you look like an idiot when you don't. Whizkid already said he was going to do a massive manual payout WHEN the problem was solved. So of course it's not paying out right now. The part that calculates the payout is frozen up while he fixes it. This is NOT rocket science. Hell, it's basic accounting. yeah, 48 hours is frustrating. So? The guy is fixing it. Just like he's fixed everything that has gone wrong with this pool so far. There are a lot of components to a successful pool, forum, whatever. I've run BBS's back in the day, and you almost always have at least two pieces of software that hate each other, which you have to mediate (often with yet another 'ware, which creates yet another possible point of failure). This involves money, so you have to be much more cautious. Quick fixes on something involving money always wind up biting you in the ass.

Whizkid, ignore this idiot. From here on out, I am. Looking forward to the faster server, and my miner will be pointing here again shortly.

Ok, software, server or DDoS collision, thats sounds better ? I talk only my opinion about that situation, situation looks like scam, smell like scam, etc. IMHO.

Maybe save your opinion until resolution

WK is working his nuts off to resolve this! We are getting ITIL quality updates and are all kept aware of the situation. Previous POOL issue show that once rectified everything is paid correctly.

Eligius is IMHO the best pool - END OF

PS if you enjoy a good scam, read the 50btc.com thread

I know about 50btc.com wallet hack. But we here talking about eligius - now situation, statistic stop working, time to repair more then day greater then WK says, server on hosting not taken instantly, now his home internet didn't work properly... sorry that's look like scam !

Here's a link just for you. Sorry, but you are very wrong. Eligius is a great pool, and they have been very responsive. Yeah, the lack of stats and payouts is troubling. But it has happened before, and they ALWAYS made it right.

Annnnd she is staring at Dad and his "Bitcoin Hat" and asking, daddy where is the symbol of my birth, my guiding light ? The "B" on the hat is not there...

Very good Smiley

When she does see it, it'll be made of 18k gold. And large enough to matter, so it's gonna be a while.

Meanwhile, anybody know where to get bitcoin ear studs? (only sort of joking. Wife wants to pierce her ears, and if she won't wear 'em, I will.)
2910  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: January 18, 2014, 07:22:32 AM
Hello again Y'all. Those who haven't been following my review thread, well, it got majorly derailed by the arrival of my daughter yesterday Smiley

Anyway, I just switched from Eligius to BTCguild about twenty minutes ago. I don't know a way to display stats from there that everyone can see. If any of you nice people know how to do that, could you please PM me?

Also, I have (on the advice of a technobit user) overclocked the thing to 920mv, and it is hashing a bit faster, though not quite as stable. Also, by switching to BTCguild it APPEARS to have a faster rate at the pool than I was getting at Eligius, but that could just be the short time frame.

Thanks again to AMT for giving me the thing to play with, and I'm doing my damndest to put it through it's paces. Now that Cara is born, I should have less running to the hospital time, and be able to do a more thorough write up.

I was sorry to read about Khanduras' misfortune, and glad that AMT has clarified that his miner is under warranty. I doubt that mine is Smiley But so far it has performed beautifully. The only thing I have to say is that it does draw quite a bit more power than the website states (or stated, I haven't looked in the last week). It's still not bad, it's like running a couple light bulbs full time. Real ones, not those mercury laden AlGorean nightmares.

This is a solid product from where I sit, and relatively easy for a newbie to figure out. With better docs, anyone who's semi literate could have it up and hashing in under five minutes. Took me longer because I didn't have docs and am a babe in the woods with linux, but still wasn't terribly hard. I'm hoping to mine enough with it to get more from AMT Smiley Though I suspect that will require other income streams.

Congratulations.  For a moment I thought you had named your baby girl "bitcoin", but that was another forum member proposing that.  I wish you and your wife all the best.

I missed that one. My wife has been calling her "little bitcoin" since about 4 months into the pregnancy Smiley I had hoped to have an outfit with the Bitcoin logo ready when she was born, but I had to spend the money on necessities. Being broke ain't no fun. Ah well. Fortunes change.

Why do people keep posting this old article today? Sure smells like a smear campaign. This has already been rehashed over and over.

Because I am a newbie who invested recently in EAC and I hate to ask this question as I already put some of my money into it.
So in a way I am shooting my own foot by asking the right questions.

But I need to know for sure, before I start campaigning for this coin and hence the question.

I only raised some genuine questions and the EAC team can come back with the right answers to put the community at ease.

Thanks

Use the search function, everything you are asking has already been answered in this thread. Also you don't come across as just asking questions, more like making accusations and spreading FUD. It's not surprising that your account was only created yesterday. Your a newbie yet feel you c.an speak for the entire community?

I mostly agree except that the search engine on this forum is straight up retarded. Theymos should put custom google in. Takes about 5 minutes.

To the new guy: a respectful tone goes a long way when asking hard questions. I jumped the old guard for jumping newbies, but you cannot be new and 'superior' either. Lets all have some dignity, eh?
2918  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: January 17, 2014, 01:34:09 AM
Khanduras, I got some setup questions for you once I get home, if you don't mind. Doing much from my phone is pointless.
