Would anyone be interested in a multipool that pays out in HYP?? Thoughts?? I believe it would drive up the overall price of HYP which is good for everyone..

That being said, it would cost a total of 1 BTC to have Coinkings make this happen. I can't ask that Presstab pay this solely, so are there any ppl willing to donate to an address held by Presstab to get this rolling??

I think a better idea would be to get some people involved in building one. It doesn't cost 1btc to build a pool, but it does cost time. I do not know how to set up the autotrading/autoswitching part, but both NOMP and CoiniumServ have this capability, and neither is terribly difficult to configure once you have the initial setup. In both cases the documentation ranges from terrible to nonexistent, but it can be figured out.

I cannot devote the necessary time to do this myself, but I can help.

Just installed the new wallet (1.0.7) and themes. I frankly didn't care about the themes until now. I'm more a function guy over form.

That being said

WOW!

That is amazingly cool Cheesy

Great work guys! I lost track, who did the themes?

where can i get the themes and how do i use them??
https://github.com/presstab/HyperStake/releases/tag/v1.0.7

download the themes folder and put it in the same directory as your HyperStake-qt (linux) or HyperStake-qt.exe (windows). I don't know what or if there is a file extension for mac.

Restart your client and there will be a "themes" dropdown. Click on the themes and feast your eyes on some awesome art Cheesy

1186  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: November 03, 2014, 06:23:19 PM
Unfortunetly, that is the awful truth. I don't want even to remember how much those invested bitcoins cost me at the time. :-(
Also, take in consideration that I always reinvested all the payouts, so the total invested sum is higher than the actual BTC I had to invest.
If you're always reinvesting the payouts, you haven't really reached the breakeven point. You're just being credited with more paper slips promising hashing power that may or may not exist. You've only really reached profitability if you invested X in PBMining and now have X+Y in your wallet, where Y isn't negative.

I may have read the report wrong, but I was under the impression that the reinvestment was in addition to what he posted, so for statistical purposes this would be valid.

As I had said earlier, I have been in profit for some time, but most of my hash has been referrals. However my initial investment did indeed pay for itself quite a while back. I unfortunately did this on a lark, and didn't keep good records. I don't recall what price I bought in at, but the minimum was 2 GH/s at the time Cheesy

I do understand the concerns here. It is my opinion that they are not correct, but I can't say they're invalid given pbmining's reticence in revealing their mining. I have done quite well with them, and as always, I say do your due diligence and decide what risks you're willing to take. I've invested in three cloud mining schemes and pb is the only one that didn't burn me, either by fraudulent action or simply becoming too expensive (GHash).

A noob question: This is a Fork of TRC right? People who have TRC before the fork can put their wallet into HYP block chain right?

Yes. HYP original distribution was based on the state of the TRK blockchain sometime in july.

So these people can sell their TRC and then put the wallet into the HYP block chain ok?

Yes.

So the can sell their coins twice right?

No. What you do with your TRK wallet now has no influence on your HYP. Only the balance you had at the fork block matters. Simiarly, if you bought TRK after the fork block, you don't get extra HYP either. And once you sell some HYP, you can't get them back by manipulating your TRK or HYP wallet.

I quoted this cuz those are good answers, but not TRC, TRK. TRC is TerraCoin, and no, no relation.

No, it's still inflation, just not as crazy a rate as 750 percent suggests. Plus, it's open ended. However, it's very predictable, so it's a stable rate once max subsidy is general. It's pretty interesting. If adoption outruns inflation, which is possible, then it's value could continue to rise or at least remain stable.

Been thinking a bit about this lately, and my conclusion is that HYP rewards stakers, but may be a bit harsh for traders.

Only the ones who work the twenty second clock. If you stake for long enough, even if the price goes down, you'll make money. Or so I'm betting Tongue I'm actually fully in profit now, but that's because I was in from the beginning and had to sell a bunch. I'd be happier had I been able to keep it. It is one of the best for staking.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HYP] HyperStake | 750% PoS | Advanced Coin Control Wallet | 11 Markets on: November 03, 2014, 01:47:34 AM
Last month shows an increase of the inflation of HYP. It only means the staking is getting more and more efficient and produces a stake ever closer to 1000 which is the max stake for this coin. Since the stake percentage isn't decreasing with stake weight, it's fair to assume that inflation will eventually level out and then decrease much like a POW-coin with a 1000 block-reward. The thing that really surprises me though, is the absence of strong price-erosion due to this enormous inflation thus producing an impressive market cap. A most interesting experiment indeed.

If I read this correctly, price-erosion means price deceases or decline. Ummm....

I still think that inflation isn't an aspect to even consider in HYP. In like say HBN, CAP, TEK, yes, there is some PoW external to PoS that does act as an inflationary aspect. Heck, in BTC, there's another 56% of inflation coming to reach the 21M cap.

In HYP, each HYP coin acts as combined asset + minting hash. Think of it like this. If everyone just sat on their HYP right now and let them stake, where is the inflation? Say the average user has 100 HYP, then 160 HYP a month later. If everyone has the same average amount, then there isn't any inflation.

Just an idea...

No, While I was gonna pack it in, ya done irritated me. I gave you all the ammunition you could possibly need if you had half the skills you claim. C'mon, "coin cloner?" You can't do any better than something you dreamed?

You've irritated me, but I'm past that. Now I'm simply amused. Every once in a while it's just straight up fun to step into a battle of wits with somebody who's totally unarmed.

There has been nothing vague in my replies, so now let's get serious, shall we?

I couldn't clone a coin if I had to to save my life. C++ looks about the same as Babylonian to me, and I don't have a rosetta stone. My skill is words, logic, and debate. But I have a grasp of english that you will never acquire, and if I choose to use logical fallacies, it IS a choice, not the default of a short circuited level of development. Your constant use of strawmen is pretty much proof positive that you have neither the wit, intestinal fortitude, nor skill to back even one allegation you've made towards me. Not too mention that you made most of it up from whole cloth. What's more, you know it, I know it, everybody who reads this knows it. The only reason I continue to engage is that I hope to drive you beyond the brink from which what passes for your mind simply can't recover. Don't know if I'll succeed, but I'll have fun doing it. I'll be that shadow in the back of your eye every fucking time you lie about me or my friends. I'll be the guy pointing out every stupid thing that spews forth from your unprincipled, disordered psyche. With the passage of sufficient time, should your obsession continue, I won't even have to do anything. My voice will become one of the many in your diseased imagination telling you "yes, do it. pull the trigger!"

When you implode, I will be there, laughing.

I see this as a valuable service. Given the history of the "approver", I will watch very carefully. All coins with this "seal of approval" will have the biomech "wear a racal suit" warning appended in my head.

as usual 101% vague attacks on my "history" proves nothing /the end.
you might as well call me names and insult me for my trust rating LOL

oh and YOUR history ? shall we get into that ?

glasses house bro.. glasses houses Wink
Yes, please, let's go into my history. Deep as you dare. You have my real name. You have (I think) the ability use the search function. Let me give you a hint, as you've obviously overlooked it.

click on my name. in the profile, click on "latests posts of this member". It will link you to every public post I've ever made. You also have my permission to ask the mods for my IP's, though I've connected from public sites many times so I'm not sure how useful that is.

You have accused me of being a number of people, some of whom are known to me and some of whom I'd never heard of. You have a very apt tagline. I have only ever had one account on BCT, though I did briefly have access to "earthcoin" as I was writing for them. WRITING, not CODING. Prose. English. American variant, for the most part.

When I gave you specifics, you're reply was "I stand by what I've posted" even though you KNEW it was mostly rubbish and mostly false.

I admit it. You pissed me off, and I have responded in kind. But, sure, do your worst. I've nothing to hide, and few regrets. I am rather thankful that I'm not you.

Oh i dare.. trust me Wink

I'm gonna sit back and watch. This should be entertaining.

haters are going to hate I guess.

Explain why the grace period was so short if there was no scam intended, and the launch/fork date edited out afterwards.

Explain why the criminals made up PM's and refuse to confirm the legitimacy to this day if there was no scam intended.

Second one, I wouldn't answer you either when your account is clearly a secondary one. I have no information as to the truth or falsity of your claim.

First one. I know Press pretty well in the electronic world. He's bloody impatient. I personally agree with you that it should have been longer. But it was hardly fraudulent. His impatience costs him sometimes, but it also drive him to put out a lot of good work very fast. Like many traits in a man, it's a dual edged sword. I started off with very little, still ain't got a lot, but I've done ok. A great many "legit" coins have done me far worse. Aside from being friendly with Press (and later, David), I had little prior warning either, and bloodly nearly nothing to invest. I'm ok with it. Mistakes were made, but I've seen NOTHING to indicate to me that they are scamming.

edit for typo.

I remember presstab posting in TEK (or HBN thread) about forking TRK and creating a new High POS coin, so supporters of POS coins knew about HYP launch. You FUDsters need to shut the fuck up and mind your own business.

Nah, let 'em talk. It's free publicity. Everyone do their due dilligence, that's all.
