I will also add another 2500 to the logo winner, Dev once the winner is announced give me their address and ill send.
Thanks, now I am thinking 2500 isn't enough Originally I liked the idea but such a stupid premine I won't participate
Everyone should and is entitled to make up their own mind before investing their money into anything. It would be stupid to try and enter a closed mainsteam industry with only a 1% premine, this would make ParkByte like pretty much every altcoin here, non-mainstream, pump and dump rubbish that has no use in the real world, but thanks for your opinion it has been echoed throughout this thread and I will continue with the original plan of a 20% premine. Not wanting to be just another 1% premine, we will up the ante to 20% so we have a better chance of being shittier than our predecessors.

FWIW, on Debian wheezy and jessie I haven't had any issues with boost. I've always made sure all boost libs are installed: sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev
My boost libs were installed, just not pointing to the correct location or w/e. On the other hand, I did the exact same build for a friend on Ubuntu according to the normal recipe and it worked fine. At any rate, my daemon runs flawless now so I couldn't be happier.

What platform or OS are you using? This sounds like a memory allocation issue, valgrind should help narrow it down. Debian wheezy. Its the only coin doing this. total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 32961880 30365640 2596240 0 445704 13651636 -/+ buffers/cache: 16268300 16693580 Swap: 523260 441748 81512 Hmmm... I'm on Debian wheezy as well, no issues like that. AMD64 I'm guessing? Any hints in ~/.unobtanium/debug.log? I am on Debian Jessie, AMD64. Boost gave me no end of troubles until I built with the flags: --with-boost=/usr/local/ CXXFLAGS="$CXXFLAGS -DBOOST_VARIANT_USE_RELAXED_GET_BY_DEFAULT=1" Not sure if this will help in your situation. I will make a VM image of wheezy and see if I can reproduce.

There are no shareholders lookin’ for dividends, no pre-mined dev-fund skeletons in our closet.
This is exactly why I love UNO. ZERO premine, nothing but a coin that does what it is supposed to do without a lot of hype that no one has time for anymore.

I minded the namecoin .. ... i got a .bit name and some id/s ... not sure how to get em working yet but looking forward to learning ... i and used mined bitcoin to get UNO ... was thinking of switching from mining BTC to UNO but now its merged & the hash rate / difficulty are going up and uno rewards low i figure best thing to do at the mo is mine BTC and convert to UNO while its at low price
It is a fairly simple, straightforward process if you have ever done any networking. If you have the server running you should be able to browse to .bit names in your browser straightaway. Or you can do it the lazy way with a web proxy and just add .no.com to the end of your domains, eg. bitcoin.bit.no.com

OK you got me - i am now HODL KGs of UNO ... love this coin and now with the merged mining makes it impossible to ignore Welcome! And congratulations on your discovery of Uno. There's a lot of crypto noise out there. But it seems that people who take the time to understand Uno really come to like it. Thank you ... its taken a while to make up my mind on which ones to pay attention to Got some Namecoin too as they also have a use/value I was pleased to read that you purchased Namecoin. It is a severely undervalued coin, and not just in price. The DNS is rather fun to play with one you have it set up.

@ bitcreditscc Having any luck with the coloured coin implementation?
very slow work. I had never worked with Java But i am on it. Meanwhile, i may put up a update that deals with GUI issues and some internal stuff with the trust engine. May also post a whitepaper explaining what the current phase in development is about. Things would go much faster if we had a java capable developer aboard. I know a brilliant java guy on here, user id is coinpr0n. If I can nail him down on here or irc he might be willing to lend a hand. I am with you on java though. All my experiences with it wind up with me hurling something against a wall.

Hey Mark,
Nice, curious what you guys come up with. Been mucking around with paper wallets myself lately, seems to work faultlessly. But I'm nowhere near your effort yet. Using plain paper, cheap printer etc. mayor lack of spare time unfortunately. Time to give up the day job. Good luck with the process, if I come up with anything useful, I'll let you know. Time for another drink.
Cheers
Making paper wallets is addictive indeed, and it is nice to have that BIP32 for extra security

Finally changes have been made to the front page and other associated links, regarding the mining potential of cloud GHS. Took your time Now if you are an idiot troll that can't read, cex has you covered.

Unobtanium.uno is has a datacenter issue, but should be back shortly.
"We are currently facing an unresolved issue with one of our network switches.
Due to this issue your site is unavailable at this point.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience and assume to have it back online within the next 2 hours. "
Two hours? That's better than here where it can easily turn into 2 weeks at the drop of a hat! Props to Craigv for the forums over at the guild. Smooth experience every time.

Hello,
was away for a year, now i want to withdraw my UNOs on a paper wallet: the only problem is, that my wallet (the place where my UNOs are right now) will not synchronize and the blockchain bar is stuck. (v0.9.2.9-thermoremnant)
Is there a way to get the Coins ? The UNOs are connected to my Wallet right now ? Or is it possible to install a new wallet and import the Coins with the passphrase from the current wallet ?
Thanks for your help. Sorry for beginner question.
greetings
No problem AlbertZ, just go grab the new wallet at unobtanium.info and you should sync and recover just fine.

Taking longer than expected to complete the update.
No worries. During forum downtime it was a chance to recharge a little. I am waiting on the update to build a node, but I still have to clear a few things off my desk.

Key I bought from him is not working. It's been almost 2 weeks and no response from the seller. I just left negative feedback on his profile. Hold on with purchasing anything from him until this is resolved.
Did you ask for the thread to be locked? Post history reflects only endless bumps. Your neg rep for him stands.
