Thanks! Still bumping this thread with no news in weeks? I thought you had closed down.

Great detective work! I have written to him here. This is all shaping up to be the Chinese version of this:

I would have to reply for sheer entertainment value alone. For those of us that watch anyway. I'm capitalistic in that you can choose to piss away your bitcoin however you wish, i guess.

Invade China Bounty Fund ProgressMikeOxhard 5 Ethought 10 Gekko 10 Jelks 20 Rojan 10 BitcoinCharlie 22.5 -Element6- 5 siameze 1 vector.iso 3 learminer 10 timpeff 10 Tactick 1 Blueman 30 craigv 10 IMZ 10 Total 157.5 WOW. I think we can call that FUNDED! OVER $400 for the bounty at the current price, more than a BTC and close to two. Great job guys! You can still throw down if you want, I will record it. Progress Report: 1. @Learminer has added the Chinese exchanges, exchange rate and the Weibo "Coming Soon" notations to the http://unobtanium.uno webpage. 2. Since we are well funded for the project, we may as well have the translator do the first page of this BitCoinTalk thread to kick off a Chinese version of the Bitcointalk UNO community. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527500.03. Still having trouble reaching this Daniel Hu. He is not responding to my invitation on upwork.com. Does anyone have a contact at Shapeshift.io? Evidently, this guy is a consultant for them. Any help tracking him down would be appreciated. He has not logged into upwork.com since last summer, so is probably not seeing my messages for him. 4. As soon as I locate an ideal candidate with crypto knowledge/SEO experience/a bent for marketing, and of course, native Chinese, I will report back. 5. Nobody has to apologise to me. I yam what I yam. It gets things done. Thanks again to all who have stepped up to the plate! Why not make IMZ or FallingKnife escrow, sign the address, and do it professional? If your Chinese counterparts are paying attention, I am sure they want to know it isn't just another amateur altcoin.

Unfortunately I have further delays- my hologram supplier has issues with the current type so I need to source another manufacturer for them. I will keep you posted.
Thanks for the update. I want to reserve a silver bar for sure again. Someone made an offer I couldn't refuse on the old one, but I'm keeping the new one I swear!

A very needed bump, so others can see it !
I concur. I love the sound of these ponzis swirling down the drain.

I apologize to gekko ( and the community at large ) for the small financial donation on my part. I am fairly absorbed with IMZ's top-secret wallet project, so haven't had many incoming BTC jobs to purchase UNO with.
I am fairly new here to the UNO community, my specialty is more of contributing my time to improving the stability of anything unix related to this project.

@CoinAwesome the "BullShit detector" is likely just another n00b troll that is pissed about everything he hasn't the knowledge to understand. They are found on these forums with alarming frequency. Just add them to the "ignore" list.

Like most crypto coders I am indeed poor, but will make a pledge of 1 UNO, seeing as how I only hold a little over 1 right now. I am waiting on IMZ to snap up a small trade on the guild though, so that should cover my pledge. Do we have a custodian for these funds?

No hard feelings here, I got a good laugh out of it. I think BW is a competent dev. My goal is to light a fire under some folks and try new ideas.

Wallets (v0.10beta) need Windows 32 please or is v0.10.0.1 worth the sit and wait? is there a rough ETA? I have instructions for a Win32 build, if anyone needs it. I will post it to cryptoguild as soon as I work out the bugs. I have also searched for weeks trying to find someone working on an electrum wallet. Since I have thus far found no one else I am going to start a fork of it. I will need to have a discussion with IMZ, FallingKnife, etc. on where to host the main server, since we do want a trustworthy node to do this.

5 UNO bounty to solve this Mac problem. I have 25 UNO sitting on the blockchain that I can not access due to the fork. I am trying to get the Mac 0.10 client to run but I get the same message everytime. I have tried all sort but I think it may be due to the fact that I have Macports installed. If anyone can help me to get the wallet up and running I'll give you 5 UNO out of the 25 UNO. Please.
I just got time to repackage the build with all of the deps, tested on machine without boost library installed. I will post the link to the fixed wallet as soon as the upload is completed. Cheers! EDIT: here's the download link http://wikisend.com/download/305390/Unobtanium-Qt.zipMD5 : 8bda96f0c9b48efef750a95452b69131 Let me know if there is anymore problem running it on your machine. I downloaded and started the wallet and I am resyncing the blockchain now, it looks good so far, so the 5 UNO bounty will be yours if my 25 UNOs show up in the end.... Glad to see you got your issue sorted! I am useless when it comes to Mac stuff. If I win the lottery I will personally buy every member of the UNO community a proper laptop. xD

mmmm . . . 'dust'!
Welcome, ThePhwner!
Woo hoo! We da Featured Currency on Cryptopia.
Mark (IndiaMikeZulu), Australia
By that standard, 42 coin is a "dust" coin. And it still trades @ 3.80 BTC on cryptsy. UNO is rare, so expect that dust to increase in value.

Wait... but I thought Macs "Just work?" How can this be possible?
Wait... Someone deliberately misunderstanding a 15 year old slogan from Apple as if it ever meant "it's infallible?" How can this be possible? Talk about infallible, I still haven't given up trying to get the wallet working on my TRS-80! LOL I had one of those as a child. Cross-compile for Microsoft Extended Color Basic anyone?

Well, I figured this out, @loader_path does not point to where I have my dylib libraries. I have Macports and so my libraries are at /macports/local/lib/libboost_system-mt.dylib. I guess that the function @loader_path does not take into account Macports as the libraries would be in a different location if it was a "clean" OSX install...
So how to add / link .../macports/local/lib/libboost_system-mt.dylib to @loader_path ??
I had to do this during configuration by adding the --with-boost=/usr/include/boost flag. No idea where this is located in your file structure though :/

I have had this occur during builds of 3 different alts recently. I am unsure what causes it, but I am researching some information now.

I have tried to install the new Mac wallet, I have deleted any trace of Unobtainium and installed fresh and it crashes at the start and I get the below error. I do not get this error on any other wallet and as far as I know my Mac is up to date with all sorts of libraries etc. Process: Unobtanium-Qt [99755] Path: /Applications/Unobtanium-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/Unobtanium-Qt Identifier: io.unobtanium.Unobtanium-Qt Version: Code Type: X86-64 (Native) Parent Process: [1] Responsible: Unobtanium-Qt [99755] User ID: 501 Date/Time: 2015-05-17 21:53:39.010 +0100 OS Version: Mac OS X 10.10.3 (14D136) Report Version: 11 Anonymous UUID: BA94AC5C-A21D-7A27-8D88-E5FDB68C5FFF Time Awake Since Boot: 49000 seconds Crashed Thread: 0 Exception Type: EXC_BREAKPOINT (SIGTRAP) Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000 Application Specific Information: dyld: launch, loading dependent libraries Dyld Error Message: Library not loaded: @loader_path/libboost_system-mt.dylib Referenced from: /Applications/Unobtanium-Qt.app/Contents/Frameworks/libboost_thread-mt.dylib Reason: image not found I am not sure (because I know zero about macs) but you may have the same problem linking to boost that I did. I rebuilt linking to the specific boost library I installed (1.58 iirc) and it worked.

Hi guys, for those of you that asked for this here it is, a quick start guide to building Unobtanium on Linux. https://cryptoguild.qnetau.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=36I will post a guide on how to build on Windows 32 AND 64 bit as soon as I troubleshoot a few more things. Siameze!!! Thank you!!! Thanks, I hope it is useful. Perhaps we can find someone that can post OSX instructions there too. Would be nice to have this to avoid the update fiasco we had a few days back.

Had to do: sudo apt-get remove libboost*
sudo apt-get purge libboost*
sudo apt-get install libboost1.54-all-dev Works now thanks! Now how do you check if it is synced or not? ./bitcreditd getinfo gives me an error Error: There is no RPC client functionality in bitcreditd anymore. Use the bitcredit-cli utility instead. ./bitcreditd - only starts a daemon, for rest of commands you use ./bitcredit-cli (start, stop, getinfo, banknode list ... ) use "./bitcredit-cli getinfo" and always check for wallet version and blocks, compare with your local wallet block info (debug window/information) or https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bcr/# and you will know. Questions for our specialists : 1. So if I have my first BN working, ./bitcreditd already started on my VPS, to start a second BN on the same machine I need to use something like this ? ./bitcreditd -datadir=/path/to/data/dir -conf=<file> 2. It could be the same datadir as in first BN ? for example ./bitcreditd -conf=BN2.conf (in the same location as default bitcredit.conf) 4. Starting a new BN, doesn't affect the first one ? 5. I know that VPS port on BN2 must be change to 9998 for example, but what with rpcport on local wallet that will initiate starting a BN2, change rpcport=8776 to 8775 ? I think you need separate folders. If anyone is interested I was going to test running a node inside a docker container (each node in separate container). Anyone here had any experience with this?
