IMO, you can't really say that. It is an illusion just that you see 1 entire bitcoin as 1 unit. You could see 1 mBTC or even 1 satoshi as 1 unit.. But it could of course go the other way when the whales close and reverse their position. It would happen when a bad news come out or something that makes all whales do it simultaneously.. |

One question, why is $10,000 the highest?  My guess is 10.000$ all time high before block halving.
Call me crazy or whatever you want, but I believe in this. We wait for 2 years. Now it's our time!
$10k is only possible after 2020 block halving. At that time, the block halving is not as important as the block reward is relatively small. With 17 million bitcoin, $10 price increase means $170M market capitalization increase. I agree. Selling pressure would be too high with miners dumping 1800 coins after the halving at 10k per coin. That's 18 million per day in new cash to sustain a 10k coin after the halving. Miners won't sell much if they think price is going up.  |

Of course, all investments have the risk factor. Correct me if I am wrong, but the current investment ROI does not indicate what the future ROI will be at all, as the future bets are independent from the historical bets, isn't it? Shouldn't you look at the recent site wagered * house edge / total BR to have a better estimate of the expected ROI?
Yeah. But past ROI is nevertheless indicative that I am not picking sites at random. Since I can't disclose the selected sites and the share of investment in each site, I will just instead disclose the ROI earned from today. Yep, ROI should be calculated as investment * kelly multiplier * wagered * (house edge - commission) / total BR It is still pretty well an estimate since the past wagered is not indicative of future wagered (and the wagered amount daily is very fluctuating), and the theoretical EV is not indicative of actual EV.  It is used to evaluate which site has a relative edge over which sites. Right now, for example, I don't have any investment in Moneypot or PRC though they are well trusted sites. |

I don't know if that's the reason or not. I'm pointing out that it's not very professional not to research the topic you are attempting to represent in a design. If I was a designer asked to incorporate a dog into a logo and my final design showed a dog with 5 legs, you would be justified in thinking I wasn't very professional, right? Well at least you can be sure it is his original work.  Anyway, it's not a big deal. I'm just butthurt that none of my "professional" designs made the top three.

Can one person win more than one raffle? In things like this, I think players may exploit it if not, creating multiple accounts (the same chance to win ONE is the same, but it would also open the doors for winning multiple).
I think the same player with the same account can win multiple times. There is nothing wrong in that lol. |

Congratz to the winners. The winners are of course selected by those who is running the contest and not by those participating in it. You can't really argue why your logo was "supposed" to get the first prize because naturally you would find yours as the best submission (unless you are a lousy logo designer like me ) Arguing like that would simply make you look amateurish even if your logo was in fact very professional |

Just thought would anyone need a service where the interested investors would contribute to the general bankroll which will be allocated and invested in the top 3 to 5 ROI sites.
All profits and risks will be split proportionately.
Investments will be reviewed every weekend and changes would be made.
Example,
I provide an address to collect funds.
If the aggregate amount goes above a limit, an escrow would be made in-charge of the investments in a particular dice site which has the major investment(s) and so on.
Investments will be accepted on weekends (only on weekends to keep the data clean), and profits/losses, individual investor's share would be documented.
Divestments will be allowed on weekends or in emergency cases with a fee (it would require calculating the profits and losses of all investments etc. for every divestment and hence would need some work on the part of everyone)
A reserve will be maintained. It will be used to meet any unexpected investment opportunity and pay out divestments in case of emergencies (like say escrow is not online at the moment who has access to a particular dice site, etc.)
Fee would be say 10% of profits (only. No profit, no fees). Charged while divesting to avoid complications.
I have identified 4 sites which have a nice ROI %.

There is a 30mBTC freebet or 90 mBTC (for 1 BTC + bankroll), as long as players have made the minimum amount of bet slips during the competition. No, that is not true. Rules changed just after competition was already over ! I haven't received 90, but only 30mBTC, even I played with bigger bankroll I will see if there is any problem, rules did not change. If you read the OP you will see they are the same. That I was thinking until today, but can't trust DirectBets any more, since they just made up this rule after competition ended ! Such bad experience, I am sad that this has to end that way That rules isnt new, that rule has been up for a month already and you probably didnt check the rules and now you are here in rage lol Which rule are you talking about ? Could you please share what made you thinking "it wasn't fair"?? ... misleading info or else ..? Nothing like that. Only betting on 1 got a very high advantage over any other bet. Meaning to allow the user to tip only 1? .. I think it would not be interesting anymore, user would only guess when such a block is found.
I meant the other way round. Not allowing 1 bets. Edited the post, sorry for the confusion. |

It is a chart on average transactions in a block per day.  The mode, the most frequent occurring number of transactions in a block is 1 which is the 25 BTC mining reward one. Yes, the above chart is not applicable for this game. I'm thinking how about to reduce the reward for blocks with 1tx ... but let's wait a little more. Yes, I've been thinking similar way (pay the winner only part of pot and keep the rest for next block). Thanks for note. OP can easily make it hard by simply allowing only bets above 1. |
