4241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange for a new crypto investor? on: November 16, 2018, 03:39:07 PM
Binance is the most popular crypto exchange , they has a million user so the trading volume is very high.  With high trading volume you will get low spread and best liquidity,  so will be good for day trading and scalping.
Yeah, for most new investors at the moment who are looking into getting some pretty good coins or tokens to hold for the long term, I will say any reputable exchange with a lot of available tokens with potentials will be a good way to start and in this case, I will say Binance and bittrex for me are two good spots to start.

For what it is worth, we can at least tell that these two exchanges have been able to do well over time and most especially for binance, even in the short period of its existence, it pretty much seem like it has not even started yet, with many upcoming development to roll up its sleeves.
4242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Stop of BTC.....5000$ on: November 16, 2018, 05:51:44 AM
Today market is going down and in a single day 112B$ to 101B$ and still it is going down. Do you think it is getting ready to move up or it will go down further towards 5000$ or more. Track record of BTC shows that it is vrey un-predictive to predict about BTC.
Of course it is something that is expected to happen even as much as a lot of people were shouting bull run or thereabout, and this is usually the time we get to see a lot of people end up capitulating and before you know it bailing out from the market and then coming back later on to say how they sold at the bottom and have now missed a new ATH.

We all have to understand the fact that the main reason why we see market act like this most of the time is to chase out the weak hands, because without that, the whales will basically have nothing to gain, so in a way, it is left for you to make that decision whether you want to be a weak hand or not.
4243  Economy / Speculation / Re: investing on: November 14, 2018, 04:08:00 PM
You want to receive a monthly profit and earn passively with crypto's. You can't get this by holding but I'd rather hold than to risk it with any type of investment because you might fall to a HYIP that promises percentage of returns.
If you want altcoins, you can invest to masternode coins but that depends on how much your capital.
There is no free pass to anything actually, it is either you learn to work for it, or you simply just hold. Most times a lot of people keep looking for a way to get passive income on their holding, but this means has put them into even more trouble than what they would have probably expected considering the fact that they keep looking for easy way out.

There is no easy way out, the only easy way out is to learn some few activities, such as trading, mining or using some skills as freelance to get something and some times, a lot of people do the lending thing as well, and asides all this, except you are trading, mining or rendering some service, anything that tells you some free stuff out there or some consistent percentage is never going to end well, and in that case, it is even much better to hold.
4244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thai’s Minister Calls For More Crypto Regulations on: November 12, 2018, 05:49:47 PM
Sometimes its great for governments to regulate crypto and sometimes its not so well, I am not too sure which one this is. Yes this could turn Thailand into a good crypto haven type country but do we really want a royal house at the top on a crypto country, wouldn't we prefer a democracy with laws ?

I mean this dude comes up and says lets regulate crypto and get crypto companies here and whole country and law people make it happen, what keeps him from saying "alright lets take all of their crypto now" or whatever, there is no stopping force for the Thai royal house and I am not sure if it is a good idea for crypto in general. Maybe somewhere like france where lawyers are rooting for crypto to be regulated properly is much better for us. USA has been doing some tax work but really they are not that big on crypto neither.
4245  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell us about your experience on: November 12, 2018, 03:28:10 PM
In my own experience in cryptocurrency , at first i never believe in bitcoin i have reading bitcoin but i never interested in it . But one day i finally get interested in it when i saw people that is earning money through bitcoin , that time i started to know more about cryptocurrency and start to learn on how to earn money through to it. I can say that it helps me a lot in financial , and because of cryptocurrency my financial status in life change.
I am sure one way or the other, we all had a time we heard about bitcoin and wish we could have at least pay some attention to it one way or the other. A lot of people are still like that presently, and I am sure a time will come when some people will even wish they joined in now. Financially, for most people that have been here for a while as early adopters, I can say it has been a fruitful journey and that includes me. The belief in the technology, the future and the potential, of course is already paying off and I believe there is a lot more to come.

I did got in about late last year and it was via the knowledge of the hyip. I did lost some good money I borrowed then and thank goodness I got some earnings via bounty and airdrop earnings later on. I am still in connection at the moment and really expecting the market to pickup again.
We are in a world that is changing pretty fast and I believe a lot of people will always have something or a story to tell when they are really making it big eventually. Usually in life, you win sometimes even if it out of luck and you screw up sometimes, but in your screw ups, what matters the most is your ability to learn from them and pick up from where you failed previously.
4246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My friends and I want to run our first ICO, But we have no idea about marketing on: November 11, 2018, 02:09:23 PM
what is happening? You want to run an ICO without any clear plan and marketing strategy? I think that the first thing you need to do is learning about marketing strategy. You can not lead your ICO to success if you don't have a good plan. Before starting an ICO, you should spend more time to learn about ICO and how to develop it. Make sure you have enough knowledge to success.
Isn’t that what a lot of them are trying to do these days? They want to join the band wagon in scamming the space and creating their own token, but they actually have no single clue how to go about anything. Apparently, this has shown some set of people who have no team; no nothing they are doing, but are busy looking for easy and quick ways to make money. What makes up a team is to be able to share knowledge and ideas on how to go about certain things, and if that is not in place, how on earth will such a project even thrive.

Stop talking shit in this community brother, how did you come to the idea of creating IcO without this proper knowledge?
DO you think that this is just a school project that you will created to present in your classmates?
Stay away from the things that you dont really know because this may brings you and your friend behind bars
Probably, he and his friends are just about to pollute the space with just another scam and reaching out to the community to give them a clue on how to pitch it out to the gullible investors. Any project that does not even have a team in place to be able to handle every single situation when it comes to developing, marketing and some other necessary areas they believe they will do well, then I do not see that as some set of people who really mean anything good at all except just some bunch of wannabe scammers who want to get rich out of nothing.
4247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Design is important for ICO projects on: November 10, 2018, 12:25:21 PM
Design is a kind of advertising project which has the most positive impact on attracting investors. And now I think that design is one of the most important components of any ICO project
Yes, attracting investors is one thing and when you want to do that, you surely want to do it in a way where the first impression will matter. Most times I believe that a team that cannot put together a good website and everything looks extremely shabby will obviously not be able to put together a good product and that is even if they want to put together anything at all in the first place.

When it comes to marketing and pitching your product to the investors, you really want the first impression to make some sense, as this is what would drive them further to want to even do due diligence on the project first to at least see what is in it for them in the long term.
4248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Is Preparing To Skyrocket Even More on: November 10, 2018, 11:26:30 AM
Hi, this article is one of the most interesting recently about XRP, I hope this will be a good speculation opportunity.

https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2018/11/how-xrp-is-preparing-to-skyrocket-even-more/
I wonder why there are so many rumors about riple now, do they really want to make a breakthrough to get ahead of the ether. For now we see strong jumps without a reason.
Probably, they may only end up getting to be able to do that temporarily but we all know ripple is not a coin we should count on its sustainability when it comes to value anyway, and considering that it is a centralized coin, no matter how they try to hype it or make it look relevant, that would not change that fact that some people behind the scenes are just controlling the price to however they deem it fit and at the end of the day, how long they want to keep doing that is one thing I am actually waiting to see.

Not the first time ripple will skyrocket and people will FOMO and get ripped eventually.
4249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH progress in future? on: November 10, 2018, 10:21:56 AM
Some anticipate that the bull is in effect, but the market still might go lower and see a further decline.
Is it ok to buy at extreme values and worth taking risk?
I see it as a companian to bitcoin. The thing is people love bitcoin but companies love ethereum, and as long as ethereum blockchain has the support of companies it is not going anywhere.

If vitalik manages to keep ethereum at a level where corporations are flocking to it than eth will have a bright future, however if it stays like this for a long time than I think it will lose interest slowly while companies start to find something new.

It all depends on what ethereum does from now on, if they keep on doing stuff big corporations love than they will keep on being the second coin, if they stop doing that and just say "its enough" than we may see it going down slowly. The only reason ripple is even challenging ethereum right now is even in bear market ripple is trying to deal with companies while ethereum is not.
4250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most of the Icos are failing main reasons on: November 10, 2018, 08:18:15 AM
Here is the following causes and effects why more icos are failings
# bearish market trend in almost a year
# project scamms
# fake news
That three main reason why most of the icos project are failed base on my analysis 😀

In my opinion, the ICOs fail because there is big risk in investing in the type of asset that does not promise guaranteed profits. Though the turnouts might not be promised in the good coins as well but the project matters a lot and a rational man can always smell the good project.

So i think it’s not worth investing in the ICOs that does not give back the returns you deserve and that is the reason why the business has gone down. Instead, one should rather invest in good assets.
Apart from the big risk when it comes to investing, a lot of the investors are now beginning to get smart and now know what they should be doing before investing in any project at all.

Of course, this is something we have to understand that there is no way you can get the best in anything if you do not have the knowledge to deal with that environment, which I believe in this case, a lot of people over time have learned from their mistakes and have made it a priority to always dig deeper before investing in any project, so a project these days without a good qualified team and most especially MVP with potential, is only going to end up failing.
4251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Syscoin silently building a platform to rival all platforms on: November 09, 2018, 01:32:57 PM
The instant exchange will be offchain though, so it won't be as instant as decentralized exchanges or it won't be as quick as the regular transactions when you count withdrawing. Yes you will be capable of changing from one coin to another on their platform but that already exists in all exchanges right now, there is absolutely no new thing coming from them aside from keeping track on the blockchain part.

I definitely see it as an improvement of course since its better to build something than not doing anything but will it be enough to make it go to moon? I do not think so. However their sys masternode is really good and I have heard only good things about it from my friends who own it, if they want to get any higher they should focus on their masternode profits instead of new stuff because their masternodes are loved by people.
4252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Need To Put Your Emotion in Trading ? on: November 07, 2018, 07:52:38 AM
If you want to be successful then you need to apply your strategy in a consistent way and that is impossible to do if you rely on your emotions to do your trades, so the decision is simple you need to limit your emotions when you are trading because if you do not do it then the chances that you are going to become successful diminish to the point that it could be impossible to get profits otherwise.
Knowledge, strategy, practice are the things that will guide you into gaining confidence when it comes to trading and emotion is the last thing a trader want to put into their trading. The major reason why so many people tend to get emotional is because they either rushed to start making money from trading with little or no knowledge, no strategy, and no experience, and then when the reality kicked in, things started going awry.

There is no way anyone will not get emotional when you realize you are losing, market is not going the way you want, just because you actually do not have a plan. Just like in real life, it applies to trading too, because if you fail to plan, then you plan to fail.
4253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any way to earn 5% interest/profit per month on: November 04, 2018, 12:44:15 PM
In crypto there is no possible way to make sure you will make a certain amount of money in fiat for sure. You are looking for crypto topics and still talk about fiat interest. There are plent of ways to make %5 interest in crypto if you wish so ?

There are proof of stake coins that will allow you to keep the coins on your wallet and give you monthly interest for just having your wallet filled and online, there are masternode coins that will allow you to make interests if you have enough of the coins to build a masternode, there are casino bankrolls and investments. The amount of stuff that will give you interest on crypto is endless however here you are on BITCOINtalk and still looking for 5% interest in fiat, which doesn't exists, there is no way to make interest of fiat money with crypto.
4254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Regarding Bull runs and speculations on: November 01, 2018, 05:30:31 AM
Im curious as to why many people "hope" for a bull run? How is this bull run gunna happen if everyone is hoping for a bull run.

I essentially think the mega run was last year, why would any new money come into it after what happened last year? People saw the rise and the crazy fall and loss it does. No one is in it for technology its all about wanting to get rich. I don't see how people think a bull run is coming..

Care to help me understand how you think this?

All i see in crypto is PURE speculation and everyone will agree with ANYTHING that helps them secure there beliefs in there own investment.
Hardest part about the bull run is that it happens at once. Right now, we are in a market where everything is looking stable, some drop off than some come up but in the end its always about the same price. When bitcoin went up last year it went up so quickly that most people didn't have time to react and that is why many people got in during the $15k+ times and right now they are not happy with that decision.

The only option we have right now is to keep our money in bitcoin until it goes up and never get it out of there. It is really hard when you have your money stuck somewhere for months and not moving even dropping couple points and you see it going to waste and not sure if it will ever go up again. Sometimes people say "enough" and get out sometimes they hang around but in the end if bitcoin jumps in price you need to have your money ready in it to make decent returns.
4255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: October 30, 2018, 08:06:51 AM
There are many sites giving the instruction step by step. Also, your can take advice from the investors. But the main thing, you can just invest with some small amount and have the firsthand experience by yourself.
There are actually huge numbers of resources that are available on the net, but people are usually too lazy to want to find them. Even if you are lazy to find them and you want to start trading, there are basically lot of good trading books from top traders in the world that one can read to at least be able to start trading effectively over time, but the problem most of the time is that people are so much lazy that they are just looking for the quick way out to things.

I started trading personally by knowing this is one thing I can use to increase my stash and I learned and practice for almost a year to be confident with my strategy before hitting the real trading world. One thing so many people do not have the patience to take their time to do,
4256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: October 30, 2018, 05:56:53 AM
Gambling is indeed more popular among young people. especially at this time many gambling uses online features, from betting and money used for online transactions. so that nowadays gambling is done more by young people.
Since many young people are using the internet around the world, there is a high chance that they encounter how to gamble or anything related to it and they will be curious about it. Young players can gamble anytime they want since it is been done online and if they lose, they will get their lost again and there is a chance that they will get addicted if they are winning consecutive times in a row. I think young people must know what are the effects of gambling into our lives. They must be knowledgeable with regards to gambling.
Internet has actually exposed kids to a lot of things and it would take some inbuilt discipline and principle to not get caught up in it as a youth. Young people today are already getting exposed hugely to things they should not be getting exposed to and for the fact that they always tend to find it hard at times, when it comes to making good decisions about their life at that age, the likelihood of seeing them doing things that would affect them will always be there most of the time.

Addiction is something that starts with the state of the mind and that state of the mind as a result of youthful exuberance is something that usually goes wrong. Moreover we cannot expect an addiction to lead a person for performing some big achievement but being as a neutral man is also not possible after got addicted.
4257  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 the year of correction? on: October 29, 2018, 06:43:14 PM
As we witnessed a bearish year which lasted longer than the prediction and some people was it was the bad year for crypto but i feel it was a the year of correction as the value of crypto were overachieved at the end of 2017. Hence we are having a correction period to what the real value should had been? Kindly share your opinion.
In crypto world and in real life as well. The world has been seeing a lot of countries and companies and even the stock market in general a drop and because of that the general wealth of the world has been getting down really a lot and that of course affects bitcoin world as well. When a regular person has stocks and has been investing smartly do you think he would consider putting money up on bitcoin as well when his "safe" investment is going down ? No. He will consider that when he is making a lot of profit from it tho.

So this shows us that the more wealth there is around the world the more people will get into bitcoin, we have preyed on the fact that there has been x10 profit makers in the crypto world so others should join and put their money into crypto and make x10 return themselves too. Now we need to show them how we are definitely better than stock market.
4258  Economy / Economics / Re: Japan grants cryptocurrency industry self-regulatory status on: October 29, 2018, 03:37:15 PM
This represents a contrast to crypto regulation in other countries whose regulation consists of being overseen and run by banks imo.

Over the long term it could mean japan's crypto economy will carry intrinsic advantages over that of the crypto econ of other countries.

I definitely agree with that. Self-regulatory bodies are in a better position to act swiftly and ensure best practices vs. dinosaur government agencies that are just beginning to wrap their head around crypto.

I don't think Japan will be alone in that respect though. In the US, we have FINRA which self-regulates securities, for example. I'm guessing the US will eventually have a self-regulating organization for cryptocurrencies too.
Yes, this is one of the reasons why I see Japan thriving well in this crypto space in the long run, and not just some government trying to want to lay huge hold on the development of the space. I am sure the Japanese government with all these developments is smart enough to see what some other countries are not seeing in terms of development and growth of this space, and getting it right now is actually something that will give them an edge in the long run. In the long run just like you said; I am sure that we will actually get to see more countries coming up with the same strategy while using Japan as a case study.

It is obvious Japan is trying to do everything possible to make it a win-win situation for everyone which is why I believe that this step is one of the main things that would really tell on their economy for the greater good in the long run. It is really must be good step in the right direction if I am asked.

I like countries that can quickly think on their feet and out of the box, and like the article said, this is a fast growing space and for sure, there is no way you can get it all right immediately, which is why it would keep taking gradual process to refine and tune everything necessary, but I believe this to be a good step actually.
4259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Begginers in trading ( share you experiences about trading ) on: October 28, 2018, 02:01:44 PM
I am still a beginner in trading world to be honest with you but I have been a beginner for about 6 years now and never really improved my trading skills to a great level that I could actually live with it.

However, as a person who has been trading in crypto space for over 6 year period (which seems a lot in crypto world since it is less than a decade old but it is still not so much because someone who has traded other stuff like forex and stocks for over 20 years and been interested in bitcoin for a year now is much better than me) rest assured no matter what you do in trading there are very few golden rules that always helps out.

First is never trust something if it looks too good to be true because in the end it is rarely ever true. I have bought and sold more coins than I can count and only ones that really made me money is the ones that we all know, the rest that looked amazing to trade all vanished and disappeared. Go with the top 10-20 coins and trade them, rest are not that important.

Second important rule is to keep your losses to a minimum by either selling out before it goes down or it went down only a bit (stop loss helps in this case) or but a sell order slightly higher than what you bought so you get your profit and leave.
That’s why I always say that trading is not easy. If you have no trading experience you can lose all you money especially in this bearish market. It is much better that you hold your coins for some more time. Getting experience is not so difficult but need time and hard world. It is better to spend some time with an expert; you can get better knowledge and skills about trading.
I would not say what you need mostly is just trading experience, but knowledge is always the first thing to acquire and it is what counts the most, experience is just a way of building and acting on the knowledge you have to gain confidence over time in what you do and to be able to make quality decision without getting emotional at all.

Getting things right with trading is something that does not come easy, but to come easy, you have to realize this is a profession we are talking about, and there are so many things you will always need to learn to be a better trader over time, and also realize you cannot stop learning no matter what. I actually learned that the hard way, but it was a good thing, I realized that and I was able to amend my ways and decisions.
4260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 28, 2018, 05:13:28 AM
It's just a start bro. Let's wait until mid-season or maybe at the palayoffs. Best plays of the rockets comes when playoffs comes, so we have to wait for it and make bets against the well oiled warriors.
The Warriors is a team where you don't know who will click in a particular game. In the previous game it is Curry who click, then the last game it is Durant's turn. That's why i think they are going to return to the Finals this season sans injury to the core player. Rockets is just another block on the Warriors path but not  a threat.
Lots of key players that's why Warriors is strong but it seems this is the last year Durant will play for GSW. He got a ring already and it's all about business. Well, GSW is good before even without him it's just they are better with him and has a higher chance of getting the grandslam.
Warriors didn't seem this interested playing last year, it is not that good to see them play with this much fun again. It reminds me of the 73-9 year they had, even though they didn't win the ring at the end they really fought till the end and got the best record in history for it.

I think it is marvelous that they had so far 3 championships and still can go out there and score 50+ a night and shoot like 10 threes in THREE QUARTERS and than just sit and relax. When needed Durant actually helped out last night as well. The only person who has not had a night that was insane is Klay right now. Dude plays with 12% threes and that is just not Klay, we all know Klay is much better than that and it will probably go back to what it was which means in order to average it out he will have some amazing nights where he scores like 40 points in two quarters and than go to bench.
