Well they have just said that all balances will be paid back. I suppose they are getting a loan or investment or something. If that is the case, then I'd like to take back all I've said against nicehash and hope all goes well in the future. I still don't like the idea of the difficulty of coins I mine being crushed soon though...

dudes, and dudettes, our turn will come, make no mistake about it. I have posted over and over and over again talking about Hodling and patience. Mark my words, be patient. Wait for 30-50$ onion. It is coming. Who knows how high we can go. Happy holidays https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mzGAuDPmWs

4gb ram. 1 vega 56 with 4 rx480s. Followed new guide for the vega. Uninstalled wattman. Using august blockchain drivers. Overdrivent tool. Soft registry settings. 60gb page file. Enable and disable the card on reboots. Run cast-xmr as admin. Everything is stable but the vega starts at 1900 and works its way down to 1300 and stays there. Im testing with just the vega for now. Using claymore the 480s work fine. Any ideas on how to break 1300H/s?
Make sure temp never gets over 64. I run separate instances and start my vega last. Have you tried just running the vega to see if the problem is present in that case? Yeah most likely a throttling problem. Some people run cards in inhumane conditions, high ambient temp, 100% fans. Pure slave labor conditions. Those poor GPU's. No wonder they go on strike once in a while.

They will not be offering full reimbursement, of that I am sure. They will offer some scheme whereby you get zero fees until you paid back, and then in a couple of years when the wallet is looking fat again, there will be another "hacking" and they will so sorry and claim to be working with the "authorities" etc.
Rinse and repeat.
No need for rinse and repeat. But they will do what you say maybe 1% fees. vs 3% for buyer and seller. This would be to losers of coin such as myself as a seller or a buyer of hash I lost say account 1 100 usd account 2 400 usd account 3 450 usd about 950 usd If I pay 1% vs 3% I gain 2% a week and in a year I am paid off. While I think it is shitty method of repayment it could work. Yeah...the logic is sound but they could also do 3% and pay incrementally back into user accounts. For example, I would not use nicehash for mining due to mining other things - but at the time of the hack, due to being lazy, I had a couple of rigs on there for some time. In that scenario I would not be paid back. But i do see that would incentivize people to use their service again. I have very mixed feelings about nicehash now. Even Zawawa quit nicehash before the hack and is now doing gatelessgate sharp (its nice, check it out). I just dont trust them.

Yup, there is big accumulation going on. This is a long game. There are many airdrops remaining. We can assume the accumulators have a lot of airdrop accounts too - and hashpower. Once they feel they have enough to control the market, they will flood BTC in and the price = moon. But weak hands have to fold first. And they have recently. If you ever have doubts about deeponion, just look at coinmarketcap, see what it is, and ask yourself if it will go higher - or lower. Even with 10 000 000 new coins coming in the next year or so (dont know if thats the case really) i see fair price of DO above 30$ for sure.

Ok so I just realised the GPUs aren't taking the OverdriveNtool settings apart from fan speed and memory clock. Core clock does whatever the fvck they want and so do the voltages. HWinfo64 shows 1.25V on the memory despite me having set it at 900mV... I think I'm going to give Wattman a go how did you manage to get hwinfo to work? i'm using the 5.58 version on several PCs and most of them freezes my systems and causes 1 or more GPUs to "disconnect", where the leds go off, and rebooting doesn't make it reappear. I need to completely shutdown the system and restart it for the vega to reappear. yet on some systems, it works perfectly fine. same version. same motherboard In settings before launching turn off the I2C control thingymajig ticker box. Should work fine.

Sorry, I don't not support very old cards anymore.
How about very NEW? Still no support for Polaris_12 (RX 550) ? We need support for RX550. The card is not that old really. RX550 is not a good card for mining really, I dont think claymore will spend time on that...the hashrate density is just awful edit: maybe try another xmr software

Its happening.....We dropped down to 14k, constant accumulation, and now we are going back up again. Someone or a group of coordinated people are accumulating. Small pumps to get people to sell their airdrop, then small price crash to make people sell their hard earned onion. Just HODl if you arent trading.

One big event in DO calendar will be the release day of its WhitePaper, it is very important to draw right targets and select the best roads to get there. I wish devs pay as much as possible to latest progresses in block-chain technologies and select the best possible for DO.
Well...It would be about time they released a whitepaper and populated the github page too. The coin cannot take off without any of those two things. Just takes a little effort....and time....the reward is well worth it.

You are mining Lyra2rev at 58mhs ? Use a different ccminer. Easiest way to start is to download nemos miner or sniffdog, then manually try the miners if you dont want to run the program. You should get around 70

Came over to say really satisfied with the frames I ordered. Will order more. Only issue / constructive criticism I might have would be about the motherboard size. For example, I believe in the pics you have extended ATX ? If I take for example a "standard" 6 gpu motherboard like a biostar tb250 it won't fit properly with the standoffs. But no worries it still works, and even if your motherboard is weird, you can always drill new holes (really easy to do).
Overall review of the frames, 9.5/10. Takes me about one hour from scratch to everything installed ready to mine.

So I've been splitting my rigs 50/50 between ahashpool on NIST5 and zpool on Neoscrypt...
The NIST5 setup is pulling in *much* more BTC / day.
Well that would be mostly because zpool is really a crappy pool. Payouts are significantly lower than other pools on those algos. Try comparing the algos on the same pool.

I have made some python scripts for automated trading, mostly just buy+sell, repeat with the ability to "shave" orders based on size. The code is absolutely horrendous because the only coding i've ever done is in c# and python for trading. If you want i could send them to you so you can be "inspired", easier than starting from scratch.

URGENT:
I need to send a few spare fans for Avalon 741s (should be the same as what S9s uses too).
Is there a part number or local suppliers around the Labrador area / Amazon / NewEgg etc.
I can get these parts from Canaan but that will take time.
Any help or ideas welcomed.
if you look on google maps for computers in labrador there is one or two computer repair businesses (dont know if they still operate). might be worth a call, although I somehow doubt they have those fans in stock, but you never know. else just do newegg.ca and see shipping options...lol i imagine it can be expensive.

Always nice to see sleek OS being made. Thanks for making it free for home miners, im sure a lot of people will appreciate, although with a small number of rigs you could just put win10 on it. But ill test this out soon, looks good.

GOOD GOOD GOOD. steps in the right direction. Price is stabilizing, bids are accumulating, and we are getting ready for another wave of "going to the moon in 2018 sometime"

Well yeah, everyone is right to be angry and concerned. i feel this is like poloniex a little while back. they got their shit together, but it took MONTHS. In that time, everyone went over to bittrex....maybe people will all switch to cryptopia or something and then they'll get swamped and take months to reply to support tickets....

Hi Guys,
At every reboot of my rig i need to apply settings in Wattman, i just want to know if i can apply automatically by overdriventool, or i need something more?
Thx
Follow this http://vega.miningguides.com/ guide. Wattman is nothing but trouble.... It depends. I have a rig just using wattman and since it never goes down or loses power, it never restarts and just hashes away. rock stable. of course its better to NOT use wattman but whatcanyoudo.

wow ive been out of the loop a little, but whats this about having a nat gas well on your property. thats crazy. does your tap water light on fire too (joking). i do nist5 on hashrefinery, smaller hash than ahashpool but so far i have nothing negative to say about rewards. unlike that other pool that starts with a Z

Just wanted to say its great to see you still doing dev work even though sometimes monetary recognition is difficult. Sorry that nicehash got recked. Looking forward to seeing the next version !
