If you dont like the difficulty settings, you need to change pool. some have static diff which may be too high for your gear, or some have vardiff. static is better but its not one size fits all.

I like the signatures, looking good. I laugh at how some people accuse the coin of being scammy. its an airdrop coin. Sure, of course the devs have multiple accounts, and will have a lot of coin. Why do you think they made the coin ? To unload, they will need to pump it. I'm just here for the ride along hahaha. As far as people abusing the airdrop, thats normal and it will happen. you can buy accounts with activity. then shit post with every account every week. I wouldnt worry about it too much.

IF you are unstable try not setting an -I value and leaving it on auto. Yeah sigt is going to go much higher IMO, but remember buy the rumor sell the news We may see it on Bittrex, but they arent allowed to talk about it. The coin needs social media, wallets, maybe android wallet too, webpage, etc. So we should be almost there. Plus a bribe I think

dont worry about bad people saying bad things. they are self-interested. You see you can buy and sell bitcointalk accounts, so they buy accounts and try to get as much airdrop as possible. then they FUD the coin, so that other people will not join, or try to discourage them. when they have enough coin, they will reverse position and pump the coin as much as possible. rinse repeat. welcome to crypto.

is it true that your leaked miners have been distributed with malware?
I would not be surprised... yeah its too easy for the hackers lol, people are so greedy. anyways yeah I think the usual malware just replaces your address when you copy paste, so you send the coins to the wrong place.

I know very little how it exactly works so maybe that's why I'm more cautious.
My main concern is that: 1; I will split coins 2; now I will sell Bitmain cash 3; I will still hold BTC 4; some time down the line BTC will disappear
I have 5 BTC so now I will sell 5 Bitmain cash so will be left with 5 BTC. 2-3 months later my 5 BTC will disappear because Bitmain cash was somehow linked with my orig BTC.
This might be complete nonsense for what I know.
Still don't believe that someone is going to give me anything for free in today's world.
don't know why but i have the same feeling, something seems weird about it all?!? If you create a new wallet, then send all your btc over to it, you now have the same btc in a new wallet. On a different machine, install the bitcoin cash wallet, and import the seed/private keys from the old wallet (which now has a balance of 0) you will now have the Bitcoin Cash on the other machine, and your original BTC is safe. Should be good edit: and yeah I sold all my bch i had on bittrex / cryptopia at 0.36 (not a lot)...once the floodgates open for deposits watch out that price is going to crash I think. Then i'm pretty sure they will pump it up x4 x5 again after a few weeks.

I dont think they are stealing your Bitcoin cash, because to have bitcoin cash you need to have the underlying bitcoin private keys...somehow I feel as though there might be a problem there...

One of my US contacts text me that Poloniex rumored contemplating not doing business in the US due to investigations etc. -- can anyone verify?
I think they are up to something. They have had terrible service for months not answering support tickets For many of us. I wonder if these are all USA based. I keep pennies well dollars there now under 25 and trade to btc then move to a wallet I own Let me clear things up on Poloniex a bit. No more trollbox, because of overload of negative comments and warnings. Deposit problems, Withdrawal problems. Virtually no support. Terms of service have just been changed. "This means that all claims other than intellectual property lawsuits, such as copyright or trademark infringement lawsuits, or claims seeking non-monetary relief would be subject to binding arbitration. This includes claims which may pre-date this agreement." and "ADDITIONALLY, YOU HEREBY WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION". And most important, not a word on Bitcoin Cash, no credit for bitcoin so far on the exchange, nothing. Moral of the story is : You cannot give users Bitcoin Cash to users, if you do not have the underlying bitcoin private keys. My 2cents. My polo balance is 0.

@Claymore
This might be hardware related but I'm having an issue.
I'm running two 4gb rx 480's, one is getting 22MH/s as it always has, the other however is only getting 4MH/s. very poor rate! Any idea what might be causing the problem/how to fix it?
Plug monitor in and flash your bios. I think i've seen that question over 100 times in multiple threads. Its driving me crazy. On another note, please ignore this next message : 1QBZxAAva9msx8w7QSDkr39nbkA1QARGC7

What...Dont be scared of that TDP. Remember a Fury/Nano tdp is high as hell...yet it can be run smooth as butter for extremely low power usage. I expect the same out of vega.
|
|
|
It seems VEGA can do almost 40 eth, maybe more with RX / updates we shall see, but the interesting thing is it can dual mine 3500 - 4500 decred at the same time, which is not too shabby.
|
|
|
@claymore that is quite impressive indeed.

Poloniex may not support BCC, and may not credit users with BTC with BCC. The only reason for this would be that they do not have the actual BTC 100% of the users. Scary isn't it ? When the tide goes out you see who is swimming naked.

I dont know about those 1080ti MSI Armor. Seems like its the same cooler as the 1070 ? I dont think that would be sufficient, the fan blades are quite small and there is no high rpm to make up for it.
|
|
|
New version with Vega support is close, currently I see 35-36 MH/s ETH at stock clocks and huge speed for second coins. But it's too hot even at 1.0v for core and 0.9v for memory.
Hey Claymore, have you lowered core clock massively ? Should be as or more efficient than an 580, it is possible.
|
|
|
no winner again lol. Hey anybody has ideas on difficulty after the fork ? I mean...depending on BCC price, a bunch of hashrate will cross over...difficulty will be uncertain at the re-adjust, and could cause problems mining blocks, potentially crippling bitcoin if a lot of hashrate leaves ?

So how is this coin positioned in comparison to XMR or ZCASH?
This coin IMO is different that both of those. Not really close to monero at all. Its basically TorCoin, but torcoin was a fake fail. Maybe we need a better explanation of what this coin is in the about section.

Listing in Cryptopia will make all of you happy. Just somebody have to sacrifice ~1 BTC. One of the SIGT community did it and now it is one of the most popular coins.
We can make a donation address for listing on cryptopia Yeah that would be best. The reason no one will touch this coin is that its only on chinese exchanges, and of course past problems poloniex
