Well, for starters, go see yiimp pool, or zpool, select the algo of your choice, and click the miners tab. You will see what people are mining on. And their average speeds. Or, go see benchs, and see what benchmarks there are, which will specify the miner.
Look around, search around, you'll find the droids you are looking for.

lol@nicehash, due to bitcoin gold, decided to empty out all small accounts everywhere that may or may not have bitcoin in them. Nicehash sends the transaction with 27/kb fee hahahahahahahaha I checked older transactions, 100...140..../kb sounds like nicehash wants that bitcoin gold too, we'll see if that is confirmed before the airdrop block. I laughed. was I surprised ? not one bit. Must be an honest mistake edit: 1 confirm finally, w00t w00t, I take it all back.

Personally I am starting to think one of my RX570's could be starting to go bad. I'm mining ETH+LBRY with that rig and that one card is crashing the miner. Usually it'll mine for a few hours but it always that GPU that'll cause the crash. I've reduced core clock, memory clock, increased voltage, lowered temp target by 5C but still, Claymore will go down at some point, stating GPU2 crashes in OpenCL or whatever. I've now reduced this GPU's intensity and see if it still happens. If it does, I'll replace the riser. Don't know what else to do.
In my experience this usually means too high clocks or too much heat. yeah reduce the memory clock or change the memory timings. thats most probably what is causing the crashes. OR, which may probably be the case, is that voltage drops too low and freezes the rig when claymore switches dev fee, etc for some reason. so in that case you need to change the voltage in the bios of the GPU to something else, like if its 65288 for the highest state, put it 65286, etc. Or if that doesnt work try a fixed voltage, like 887 or something. it really depends on what you did initially with the GPU's bios I guess. just spend a bit of time on the rigs with trial and error. for the question about the wife just make sure the rig looks sexy

I have a question regarding Nicehash and algo switching if anyone has any thoughts on the matter. I'm quite a novice miner and just started running NH on my wife and I's gaming rigs a few months ago, and since I had a spare PCI slot added a 1060 3gb to our 1070 and 1060 6gb. I run Nicehash Legacy which has plenty of different algos which it switches between based on profitability, however I have a feeling I might be able to run the cards with less power draw if I just optimised for EWBF miner, rather than is sometimes swapping to dualmining ETH + something and X11, etc. I like getting paid in BTC so would like to stick to Nicehash, so should I just unselect all the other miners and optimise for EWBF, or is there something else you would do in my situation, if you wanted to be paid in BTC? Thanks for the thread btw Phil, really enjoyed lurking over the past few months for nvidia, just run nicehash miner V2. but fastest equihash miner is dstm now, not ewbf. optimize your power with afterburner and just reduce your power limit, and overclock core and memory.

Damn, thats good hashrate. I wouldnt do it to my 56 though, can anyone confirm whether the hbm2 chips are the same between 56 or 64, or they took the better ones for 64...? And for the other guy with high power consumption, if you mine monero, you dont really need to flash to 64 and do soft mods if you want acceptable hashrate (1900) and lowish power consumption (175). if you just flash to 64 and dont do mods than thats the worst scenario, all you get is higher watts.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] Ethereum = Scam

Ethereum is not scam because Ethereum is not just a currency,it’s a Blockchain platform powered by the Ether cryptocurrency.Their technology is just too good to not break through.Ethereum becomes more mainstream and widely accepted so the currency valuations are expected to surge further. And Ethereum is second most favourable coin after Bitcoin in the world. So, I dont think Ethereum is scam.
ethereum is shit. honestly. try trading on etherdelta and sites like that. its 100% non user friendly shit. god damn it, use WAVES, at least that makes sense to n00bs. erc20 contracts are garbage at the basic level. it takes a lot to make it right.
