761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.2.2 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: October 29, 2017, 01:09:46 AM
Well, for starters, go see yiimp pool, or zpool, select the algo of your choice, and click the miners tab.  You will see what people are mining on.  And their average speeds.  Or, go see benchs, and see what benchmarks there are, which will specify the miner.

Look around, search around, you'll find the droids you are looking for.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with more than 4 Vegas and HBCC -> SOLUTION on: October 27, 2017, 10:24:18 PM
No offense, but there is no need to pay anything.  Go see the vega thread, its a driver issue.  simply disable and re-enable the vega on startup and forget HBCC.  procedure to automate that is there too.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Potential x50-x100 coins let's discuss which one we think on: October 27, 2017, 06:51:38 PM
DeepOnion.  lots of effort by the community, actual features, more features incoming, and the project is now open to much more people for future airdrops.  Plus price is quite low.

Just came here to confirm the sweet, sweet delivery of fresh onions to the wallet !  They smell real good, and I hear they age very well Smiley
Keep it up guys, and remember, HODLLLLLLLLLLLL

I really like the new signature.  Testing it out with this post.  emphasis on TOR, good.  less clutter, good.  looks much more professional and clean.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.1 (Windows/Linux) on: October 26, 2017, 01:41:23 PM
@Claymore, thanks for the new version, will test it out.  A friendly word of advice ?  The file name on the folder/rar is wayyyyyyyyyyy too long Smiley  Just saying Smiley
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Cast XMR] high speed XMR/CryptoNight miner for RX Vega GPUs (2 KHash/s) on: October 26, 2017, 12:37:50 AM
How many invalid/rejected shares are you guys getting ?  hashrate is higher by a very decent amount, but so are bad shares.  Maybe the dev can explain a little bit.  any way to minimize them ?
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with more than 4 Vegas and HBCC -> SOLUTION on: October 25, 2017, 01:20:53 PM
yeah highly doubtful.  HBCC is not something XMR-STAK can control directly so I don't see....oh wait dev fee is changed.  so its just a recompiled xmrstak with a changed dev fee ?  I really dont see hbcc problem solving here at all.  how much ram do you have anyway
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: October 24, 2017, 07:19:49 PM
Keep in mind that (to my knowledge so far) yobit does not allow deposits of bitcoin gold, nor is it practical to send bitcoin gold anywhere due to having no god damn replay protection.  I all hoping for more profitability but so far I dont see anyone renting huge amounts on nicehash to mine bitcoin gold.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR ⚡ with DeepVault 🚀 FREE Airdrops 🚀 15 of 40 Rounds 🚀 on: October 23, 2017, 11:00:30 PM
I really like the new signatures.  I am going to change mine for certain.  Much more professional, less clutter, less is more !  Trying to put too much in such a small space ruins it a bit.
771  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: October 23, 2017, 06:36:17 PM
lol@nicehash, due to bitcoin gold, decided to empty out all small accounts everywhere that may or may not have bitcoin in them.  Nicehash sends the transaction with 27/kb fee hahahahahahahaha
I checked older transactions, 100...140..../kb

sounds like nicehash wants that bitcoin gold too, we'll see if that is confirmed before the airdrop block.  I laughed.  was I surprised ?  not one bit. Must be an honest mistake Smiley

edit:  1 confirm finally, w00t w00t, I take it all back.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: October 23, 2017, 05:02:10 PM
Personally I am starting to think one of my RX570's could be starting to go bad. I'm mining ETH+LBRY with that rig and that one card is crashing the miner. Usually it'll mine for a few hours but it always that GPU that'll cause the crash. I've reduced core clock, memory clock, increased voltage, lowered temp target by 5C but still, Claymore will go down at some point, stating GPU2 crashes in OpenCL or whatever. I've now reduced this GPU's intensity and see if it still happens. If it does, I'll replace the riser. Don't know what else to do.
In my experience this usually means too high clocks or too much heat.

yeah reduce the memory clock or change the memory timings.  thats most probably what is causing the crashes.  OR, which may probably be the case, is that voltage drops too low and freezes the rig when claymore switches dev fee, etc for some reason.  so in that case you need to change the voltage in the bios of the GPU to something else, like if its 65288 for the highest state, put it 65286, etc.  Or if that doesnt work try a fixed voltage, like 887 or something.  it really depends on what you did initially with the GPU's bios I guess.  just spend a bit of time on the rigs with trial and error.

for the question about the wife just make sure the rig looks sexy Smiley
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: October 23, 2017, 01:56:10 PM
I have a question regarding Nicehash and algo switching if anyone has any thoughts on the matter.

I'm quite a novice miner and just started running NH on my wife and I's gaming rigs a few months ago, and since I had a spare PCI slot added a 1060 3gb to our 1070 and 1060 6gb. I run Nicehash Legacy which has plenty of different algos which it switches between based on profitability, however I have a feeling I might be able to run the cards with less power draw if I just optimised for EWBF miner, rather than is sometimes swapping to dualmining ETH + something and X11, etc.

I like getting paid in BTC so would like to stick to Nicehash, so should I just unselect all the other miners and optimise for EWBF, or is there something else you would do in my situation, if you wanted to be paid in BTC?

Thanks for the thread btw Phil, really enjoyed lurking over the past few months Smiley

for nvidia, just run nicehash miner V2.  but fastest equihash miner is dstm now, not ewbf.  optimize your power with afterburner and just reduce your power limit, and overclock core and memory.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: October 23, 2017, 01:53:03 PM
Damn, thats good hashrate.  I wouldnt do it to my 56 though, can anyone confirm whether the hbm2 chips are the same between 56 or 64, or they took the better ones for 64...?  And for the other guy with high power consumption, if you mine monero, you dont really need to flash to 64 and do soft mods if you want acceptable hashrate (1900) and lowish power consumption (175).  if you just flash to 64 and dont do mods than thats the worst scenario, all you get is higher watts.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR ⚡ with DeepVault 🚀 FREE Airdrops 🚀 15 of 40 Rounds 🚀 on: October 23, 2017, 01:46:51 PM
lol DeepOnion magazine, thats gold.  pure gold.  Deeper probably lives in siberia, eating potatoes made by babushka, while tending his industrial size onion farm.  At the same time fending off the bears.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: excavator by NiceHash - multi-algorithm NVIDIA & AMD GPU miner [1.3.1a] on: October 23, 2017, 01:44:51 PM
Good to hear !  Although if the bitcoinGold thing makes equihash more profitable, in the meantime, it wouldnt be a bad thing to switch miners to get that extra hashrate.  its not very user friendly though for the noobs unfortunately.  I have to say, nicehash miner 2 although not really suitable for me, is a real good piece of work.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: October 22, 2017, 05:46:59 PM
oh I understand, thanks for the info BogdanCo.  makes a lot of sense.  im going to have to research hbcc more to understand it
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] Ethereum = Scam on: October 22, 2017, 05:08:11 AM
Ethereum is not scam because Ethereum is not just a currency,it’s a Blockchain platform powered by the Ether cryptocurrency.Their technology is just too good to not break through.Ethereum becomes more mainstream and widely accepted so the currency valuations are expected to surge further. And Ethereum is second most favourable coin after Bitcoin in the world. So, I dont think Ethereum is scam.

ethereum is shit.  honestly.  try trading on etherdelta and sites like that.  its 100% non user friendly shit.  god damn it, use WAVES, at least that makes sense to n00bs.  erc20 contracts are garbage at the basic level.  it takes a lot to make it right.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: October 22, 2017, 04:09:09 AM
Id love to hear about
-how much ram you have installed, and virtual memory setup
-how much hashrate total

I dont think with 7 vega you can get max hashrate per GPU, although I personally havent tried.

Great DO poster again @whitefish its not on twitter yet Smiley but i bet i'll retweet it first Smiley @ https://twitter.com/whitefishdesign if anyone wants to follow him there.

awesome, I followed on twitter.  We need to do something about the airdrops though, most investors dont want to invest in a coin where other people get things "for free".  the airdrops should have decreasing inflation...not increasing inflation like now.  we need an illusion of future scarcity to create value.  just my2satoshis
