so, is it worth to waste the time to set it up on the flawlessly working 6 Vega 64 XMR-STAK rig ? The only real improvement I see while running it on 1 Vega test rig are the temps in the console (which I definitely like a lot tbh ).
I've been enjoying Cast's nicehash support these last few days. The premium there lately over straight xmr mining has been well worth it. What's your configuration like? theres no special configuration, just point your rig at nicehash servers and it'll work. Only problem with nicehash is the difficulty but over time its all good.

Of course when my commitment to Hydrominer is over, I'll probably join Deeponion! Through these low prices I am buying some ONION, in the airdrop, who owns above 10k will receive 12k in the next airdrop?
No, you will receive about 8%, maybe a little more, a little less. someone can do the actualy calculation Im too lazy So if you have 10k you will get 800 sweet, sweet, juicy onions

Remember guys, buy low sell high, and HODLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. This coin has a bright future and as my old boss used to say : Patience always pays.

You guys are funny. How about this. 2000$ of gear a year and a half ago is now worth over 55000$ if you reinvested all profits in mining gear. So yeah leverage trading, margin call, oups.
If you mined 5$ a day of Ethereum, sold it for btc, and waited till today to sell, then you made 100$ a day mining. Just HODL.

dstm miner works great. Hashrates are for me about 8% higher than ewbf on pretty much all gpu's I have. Rock stable for me. You should give it a try.

Looks promising, though I thought it was gospel not to use SATA power because of the cards drawing more power than it's rated to handle? Depends with which GPU. In most cases, there is absolutely no problem using SATA. the sata to molex adapters are the problem though. I dont know how much VEGA pulls from sata but I have some on SATA and they are cold to the touch, no worries there. Of course only use one or two per string, never more...

Guys you can stop mining bitcoin gold now, its only on the testnet as far as I know Now what do I mine, what do I mine. The age old question. it's already a second testnet launched today. mainnet probably in a few days They said they completed the testing period, so any time now. For the question what do I mine, turns out cryptonight, of course, but I have a feeling equihash will be good. Nothing like bitcoin price rise in combination with new coins coming out. feelgoodman

Airdrop received ! I got a little under 8% of total holdings in my wallet. So its less than the usual airdrop, but not by that much. sweet, sweet, onions.

If you are interested in mining, then go for it. Get your parts cheap and maybe just buy one GPU to start off. Then with the profits or if it looks good, add some GPU's to the rig. Does it make more money than buying coins ? Yes, but if the coins shoot up 1 month after you bought your rig, then no.

Your calculations are wrong. First. Cloud mining is mostly always NOT profitable and I hate the very idea of it. But it is what it is. Bitmain's cloud mining is a better option, but still bad.
You dont mine ETH with a 1080ti. Go see whattomine.com Plus a 1080ti is not the best option to mine with. Profitability is not a decreasing curve - it is a fluctuating one. It decreases over time, but once in a while it bumps up, so it averages out. Plus you still have residual value in the GPU, if its undervolted it will last a long time with low fan speeds. GPU mining is still profitable, and most likely will be for a long time.

wait, wait, you manually updated your signature ? Thats good, but can the devs update the signature on the website ? Right now it leads to NOVA still edit: Nevermind, all checks out.

Where there is an airdrop, there will be people. Of course a lot of peeps here have many, many bitcointalk accounts and apply multiple times for these airdrops. Dont expect much from them.

DeepOnion is now on cryptopia !!! Nice. Everyone get your airdrop onions (well its more of a signature campaign), it pays a lot. Thanks cryptopia.

This upcoming airdrop is going to be a mystery. New rules, new signatures....new users. How many onions will we get, surprise surprise !

Also if anyone has any expertise creating bots or programs, Nicehash has always been lucrative, depending on the algo. Currently Keccak is making 25% profit of the hashrate. Meaning they're earning 25% of what you would if you mined directly to a pool. IE there is one person earning $5000 a day. You can figure out who on the pools is using Nicehash based on their fluctuations and based off Nicehash net rate.
That's always been the case though and why Nicehash is where miners go to die. Bot programs siphon their earnings off the top and there only seems to be a handful of people that actually compete for the hashrate. For Keccak I've seen maybe 5-10 unique bot-miners using Nicehash that have been controlling the hashrate, currently there are only two that seem to be getting it all. I've always wondered if it's just Nicehash that does it as they don't seem to try and keep things out of the hands of a couple people and they have the expertise to do it.
Yup, but only on smaller algos. I had bots on nicehash a while ago. It can be also useful if you point your miners at nicehash, you assure yourself a certain payout by setting the price. Nicehash is still useful if you mine a bigger algo like equihash in certain situations : new coins and you feel a bit lazy but still want to profit, and when the price of the alts go down. when the price goes down, lets say you withdraw once a day and sell, if the coin went down 10% you made much more on nicehash. Still, not too long ago someone on skunk put an order about 5x sigt profit and that lasted a day

Yeah I saw that C.B250A-BTC PLUS V20 board. Lets say you fill it up, You need 16x 6 pin, + 6pins for the GPU's. Plus is there an 8 pin for the CPU ? We are talking a lot of connectors here...

Ok Tried --opengl 1 that didnt work. Im using the basic config "cast_xmr -S [pool server] -u [username or wallet address]"
Thanks anyway
--open cl 1, but not --open gl 1 Yep tried that one also earlier when I was reading gandalph's "how to" on his website. Still something missing. Ill try later tonight to get it running. --opencl, try 0, try 1, try 2. Try em all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also I assume you have blockchain drivers installed right..right ? Should work.

w0lf is a legend. Always ready to help others, although he won't spoon feed you but when people want to learn i've seen him time and time again help out and spread the knowledge. If only we had more wolfs in crypto and less sp's I'll test out your new update when you get it out Depends on his mood, sometimes really generous and helpful, and sometimes only bragging hahahahaha for sure, and be warned if you ever click on one of his image links. Be very warned
