Bitcoin's Horoscope for week of May 23, 2013

http://www.freewillastrology.com/horoscopes/tarot_cards/tarot4.jpg   In the course of his 91 years on the planet, artist Pablo Picasso lived in many different houses, some of them rentals. When inspired by the sudden eruption of creative urges, he had no inhibitions about drawing and doodling on the white walls of those temporary dwellings. On one occasion, his landlord got upset. He ordered Picasso to pay him a penalty fee so that he could have the sketches painted over. Given the fact that Picasso ultimately became the best-selling artist of all time, that landlord may have wished he'd left the squiggles intact. In every way you can imagine, Bitcoin, don't be like that landlord in the coming week.

Litecoin's horoscope for Tuesday 21 May, 2013 Mercury sextile Uranus

You want to find new answers to old problems, and you will be able to. There's a lot of inspiration around. There will be all sorts of things happening rather quickly, and you'll be able to spot the things that will widen and broaden your life. There's a bit of a relief of tension, a bit of release. There may be new possibilities coming up, new ideas you have that allow you to do things you haven't been able to do before.

What about this address?

Awesome! Wink though actually only an 8 char after the 1 addie, but sorta neat how it carries on the -o- theme nicely & I like the Hux bit too.

North Carolina - The NC DMV has rejected the application for the license plate 'BITCOIN' because it 'could be considered in poor taste'

Litecoin's Stars for the week ahead, Saturday, 2013 05 18

They say, 'There's no rest for the wicked.' The good don't exactly get to put their feet up, either. Indeed, they often have to expend a lot more energy. They can't, for example, go around taking lots of naughty shortcuts. There are many ways now in which, if you were a lesser person, you could cheat your way out of a stressful situation. You could say whatever might get you off the hook or do whatever would be most convenient. But you're going to be noble. And ultimately, that's going to bring you more peace.

Do you remember how I told you, some while ago, about a series of seven alignments, due to take place between 2012 and 2015. I explained that they were all connected, that they all involved repeats of a right angle between Uranus and Pluto that only happens once every 60 years or so. I compared this to the chiming of a bell, urging the world to wake up to new ideas and possibilities that force us all to rethink what life is all about! I'm delighted to confirm that the third of these cosmic chimes will ring out on Monday!

Bitcoin's Stars for the week ahead, Saturday, 2013 05 18

The old TV shows have a certain charm. Bilko, Bewitched, Lucy... they just don't make them like that any more. Times, though, have to change. No matter how good something may be, it must move on. We can revisit the past and appreciate how wonderful it was, but we must also find a way to relish the present. Right now, you are finding it more comfortable to reflect than to dwell on what lies directly before you. Overcome your fear, concern or disapproval. Learn to love what's happening. This is your moment... your chance!

The only thing I can think is that you have a Time Offset in your board settings.

If you go to your profile then click 'look and layout preferences' you'll be able to see there.

Ah yes ty, I had it offset by 1 hr which probably worked at some time, now I've put it to auto detect & that's much better - it shows 5.30 pm which is my current time, 2 hours ahead of UTC. (& 1 hr ahead of UK).

btw I would recommend the Firefox add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/En-us/firefox/addon/foxclocks/ which shows world times including GMT/UTC in your status bar, very useful & doesn't rob your wallets also.
1696  Economy / Auctions / Re: * AUCTION - SERIES 1 Casascius coin * on: May 15, 2013, 03:18:55 PM
I logged out & it showed 3.15pm forum time then back in & it now shows 4.15pm. UTC is 3.15pm, seems confusing compared to just using UTC but maybe that's just me.
1697  Economy / Auctions / Re: * AUCTION - SERIES 1 Casascius coin * on: May 15, 2013, 03:10:54 PM
Forum time: (for me) 4.10 pm, GMT/UTC (for everyone) 3.10 pm (well 3.11 now)
1698  Economy / Auctions / Re: * AUCTION - SERIES 1 Casascius coin * on: May 15, 2013, 03:09:50 PM
I'm not sure if the forum time is universal or relates to where your IP comes from, as for me atm it's 410 pm whereas GMT/UTC is actually 3.10 pm now

Re speculation about the price, 30 series 1 sold on coblee's auction of May 1st for a total of 90 btc, so 3 btc a piece (1 btc = between $125 & $95 at the time): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=186198.0;all
1700  Economy / Auctions / Re: * AUCTION - SERIES 1 Casascius coin * on: May 15, 2013, 02:25:43 PM
Rules:
  • The auction will end at 11:00pm GMT (10:00pm UTC) Wednesday 13th May 2013.
  • Starting bid 3 BTC.
  • Bid increments of at least 0.1 BTC.
  • Any valid bid from 10:51pm GMT onwards extends the finish time by 10 minutes.
  • I will include free postage (signed for on delivery).
In the rules I put the bid increments at 0.1 BTC. In retrospect this is too high, but I have to keep it to avoid any possible complaints.

Unless either of you object, I will treat Otoh's bid as 3.3 BTC and mc_lovin's as 3.4 BTC.

Thanks  Smiley

Both bids were valid as being of at least 0.1 btc more than the last, but if you prefer bids to be of only 1 decimal place it doesn't bother me, did you look in to the GMT - UTC issue from your OP?
