Bitcoin's Forecast for Tuesday, 4 June 2013

https://i.imgur.com/8eyKdN3.jpg   Even if something seems wrong, there's something else that's right about it. You know you need to trust and relax. But you don't feel inclined to be so mellow. Many factors are worrying you. Naturally enough, you want to deal with these. But they are, dealing with themselves. A situation needs to be the way that it is so that it can become what it needs to become. Just as raw dough doesn't look appetising till it is baked into bread, the problem you're now worried about is not really a problem at all. Let a key process unfold a little further. There's a big turning point in your life coming up this month.

Bitcoin's Horoscope for week of June 6, 2013

http://www.freewillastrology.com/horoscopes/tarot_cards/tarot19.jpg   Do you know what minced oaths are? They're rarely used anymore. If you went back a hundred years, though, you'd hear them regularly. They were sanitized swear words, basically; peculiar exclamations that would allow people the emotional release of profanities without causing a ruckus among those who were listening. "Bejabbers!" was one. So were "Thunderation! and "Dad-blast!" and "Consarn it!" Here's one of my favorite minced oaths: "By St. Boogar and the saints at the backside door of purgatory!" I bring this up, Bitcoin, because I suspect it'll be a minced oath kind of week for you. What I mean is: You'll have every right to get riled up, and you should express your feelings, but not in ways that create problems for you.

Re the last price that GM traded for on GLBSE, I bought 2 + 28 bonds on 2012 09 27 & 2012 10 02 both lots @ 0.451 BTC [that was probably after adding on the GLBSE fee], so the price was quite stable there for around the last week & GLBSE closed down on 2012 10 02 I believe so this is most likely the last traded price or very close to it as like being the last week's average price also I expect.

Previous to this I bought 21 bonds @ 1.205 BTC on 2012 07 14 & 979 @ 1.3635 BTC on 2012 07 10 when the upgrade to TM may have been announced.

The other 500 I bought between 2012 05 18 & 2012 06 08 @ 1.46 BTC to 1.44 BTC.

Just found this one from March 2012, NY State plate, belongs or did to cablepair, Thomas Van Riper, though this one would have been more appropriate for him:

I expect that you've seen Casascius's aluminum coins thread & on his site

Aluminum "Strength in Numbers" Promo Coin (bag of about 500)
1.25 inches in diameter, blank back, does not include any bitcoins.
Print your own sticker for the back and use it as a business card, or print your own private key sticker and put bitcoins on it.
Price 1.5 btc which is 0.003 btc = 39 cents each approx atm.

Also see this post for more details, like silver, gold, other colours & finishes.

These being primarily light in weight & cheap to have manufactured I believe this would be an excellent & very fitting way to help promote Litecoin, they are most like the New Orleans Mardi Gras carnival coins & perhaps one of the krewes would be interested in incorporating this idea with having say the bulk of coins tossed to the crowd as just regular promotional ones, but maybe 100 or so having 0.1 ltc private keys inside, 10 with 1 ltc & 1 with 10 ltc or 100 ltc - however much they overall wished to give out, these coins become collectables too.

If no krewes were interested this would still be a great occasion to give out a bunch for promotional purposes & the following year there may well be more interest in virtual currency funded carnival float coins because of this.

There's a big turning point coming up this month.

Jupiter, towards the end of June, moves from Gemini to Cancer. That marks a big turning point, not just for people born under these signs or even for Pisceans and Sagittarians (the two signs ruled by Jupiter) but for us all. Jupiter only changes sign once a year or so. The collective mood shifts, almost instantly. My medieval predecessors believed that Jupiter was 'exalted' in Cancer and that all the traditional Cancerian values (compassion, empathy and sensitivity) would begin to become more prevalent in society as a whole.

For Litecoin, Jupiter's move is from the 9th to the 10th house which rules ambition, initiative, common sense, planning, hard work, being practical, discipline, security, good business, public recognition, career, status, long term goals & achievements, maturity, establishment. I believe that people generally will be treating Litecoin with much more respect & seriousness over the coming 12 months or so.

Expect to see all of these traits being most positively emphasized as Litecoin moves on to another level & is accepted by businesses that have a healthy approach to working with regulation & the traditional ways of doing things, whilst still being both innovative and revolutionary, so gaining the rewards that come with this synthesis. Any large holders should be looking to have at least a two year investment holding going forward to fully benefit from this growth & the initiatives that will be established through hard work & timing over this period.

Litceoin's June Monthly Forecast, 2013

In June, somehow, you have to accept what you cannot change and change what you cannot accept. This advice is easy to give and hard to take but it sums up the approach you require. How are you supposed to know what you can and can't change? Try to alter your situation. If it works, be glad. If not, resolve to live with as much of it as you can. Then take the remaining portion and look for some way to adjust that. The only option may not be your favourite but if it is the only way, it must be taken and trusted.

The Sun moves into cancer on the 20th for four weeks which is always your peak time where career and community ambitions are concerned. Even better this year lucky Jupiter also moves into Cancer on the 26th to stay for a year ahead. This will bring you praise, recognition and success.

After mid year you'll attract praise and recognition at work with an embarrassment of projects grabbing at your attention.

Bitcoin's June Monthly Forecast, 2013

https://i.imgur.com/C9HZQ7T.jpg   You've got a sharp implement. An opportunity to work wonders or wreak havoc. I hope you know what I mean by this. If not, please re-read. Few things in this world are as dangerous as the people who have great power at their disposal yet who will not use it because they do not believe they have it. Or worse, those who go ahead and use it without understanding quite what an impact it can have. You don't need to employ great energy to get what you need in June. Just take careful aim. That will do the trick. There's a big turning point in your life coming up this month too as Jupiter makes it's (approx) annual sign change on the 26th, when it moves from Gemini to Cancer.

1670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC] Bounty for LTC support in Armory on: May 30, 2013, 03:00:52 PM
We've started a bounty thread on Reddit to get LTC support added to Armory here.

This issue on Github details what it would take to get things going.

Post pledges either in the reddit comments, or on here. I will be updating this post with the current total regularly.
Input from developers would also be greatly appreciated.
Lets make this happen!

Total amount pledged as of the writing of this post is 80 LTC.
Can someone translate that in BTC?

80 LTC @ 0.0231 = 1.848 BTC atm https://btc-e.com/exchange/ltc_btc

I pledge 30 LTC for a version that I can use problem free, so the total is now 110 LTC = 2.541 BTC atm.

Bitcoin's Horoscope for week of May 30, 2013

http://www.freewillastrology.com/horoscopes/tarot_cards/tarot20.jpg   In 1948, Nelson Mandela began his fight to end the system of apartheid in his native South Africa. Eventually he was arrested for dissident activities and sentenced to life imprisonment. He remained in jail until 1990, when his government bowed to international pressure and freed him. By 1994, apartheid collapsed. Mandela was elected president of his country and won the Nobel Peace Prize. Fast-forward to 2008. Mandela was still considered a terrorist by the United States, and had to get special permission to enter the country. Yikes! You probably don't have an antiquated rule or obsolescent habit that's as horrendous as that, Bitcoin. But it's past time for you to dissolve your attachment to any outdated attachments, even if they're only mildly repressive and harmful.

I'm pretty sure that it was a new address/es which were set up for the April BitLotto as ppl were sending some coins to it after the last lotto was closed on 2013 03 01 & meant to have paid out by about a week or so later. See my post here re over 8 btc having been sent to this new one/s by 2013 04 02, I didn't though record the address/es though goat should have it as he entered early for that month too. Also you can see that no more bets were sent to any of the old 1st March draw addresses after 2013 02 28.

Professional is usually used to differentiate from an amateur or hobbyist status, who may be just as good but do not happen earn their living from that particular work whereas a professional often does, anyway it's  always reassuring to be getting input from a professional troll & not just some bs drive by one like you appear to be Mr I de Ho. 1675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Astrology Reading Audio File on: May 22, 2013, 02:34:47 PM
I've listened to the reading again & like it a lot, I haven't tried to list all the things that I like or agree with as I have less time than usual today, I did though like the emphasis on Bitcoin's "legacy, the children from this idea" - maybe this refers to Alternative coins like Litecoin who's chart I shall be most happy to commission & also Bitcoin's "longevity" in itself & through this.

I also liked the advise that to "hold your chips - don't gamble or speculate" is the way to go, I liked that he could see a strengthening through partnership "merging or holding hands with other entities" but a lot of caution needed in choosing these. As he is new to the btc concept perhaps to explain that it is in no way a corporation & that it has no stock either, but rather is a fully decentralized, open source P2P experiment.

I wondered if the explanation of Saturn at the bottom of the chart for the next two & a half years or so & being concerned with foundational work & getting the roots & basics correct may also relate to the forming & work being done by the Bitcoin Foundation, in which case that would seem apropos.

I shall be watching events & any news from the Bitcoin Foundation around the 8th of July when he mentions Saturn as going direct again.

Also the important transit of Pluto when it conjuncts Btc's natal Sun for some potential serious empowerment. I was likewise interested & in agreement with his seeing Jan to early April as being the most positive time of the years for btc & late Aug, Sept, Oct to be the more challenging.

The San Jose conference coinciding with Jupiter, Venus, Mercury being in gregarious Gemini & the progressive 11th house of Aquarius makes sense, then being joined by the Sun there too.

1679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rare address hall of fame on: May 21, 2013, 05:55:04 PM
Very glad that you liked it Smiley

Here's perhaps a new type to add to THoF, the shortest address as in with least number of characters, like these 32 char addresses:

11111PXVCnuZsHwrHTn3ukmsadDEfzxs
111114YNgH3Pkj8dgZ3zP7DLC4jHzNQz
11111enRSTZqB4Y77sa9rWMKzANNxbCw

According to this post (& the replies to it) the limit gets for between 34 & 27 chars apparently, with 34 being by far the most common & the shorter it is then the rarer it would be.

Another category could be perhaps, the shortest address - because it had the most narrow type chars, ie: 1jjjjjjjj... (I haven't experimented yet to see which other chars if any may make for a tighter address.

hi, when I check the solution - including old ones that I know are correct, on https://gobittest.appspot.com/VanityMult & sum site I have been getting an error message for the last 12 hrs plus:

Error: Server Error
The server encountered an error and could not complete your request.

If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this error message and the query that caused it.

... any help welcomed pse, ty!

I'm getting this error message again & it's beyond me to even know how to report it correctly when I go to the report page, I'd very much appreciate if someone could do this for me & all who wish to be able to continue to use it, many thanks indeed to whoever solved a bunch of mine today after a long hiatus, including a lovely 9 chars after the 1 of 1AUSTRALiA that's been there from near the start of this for a very well deserved 0.9 btc bounty.
