My predictions is that during this process of waiting for the bitcoin split which is sooner then we think.
After that hurdle it would be great, depending on the outcome of people who dont mind for the split. And then the true growth will start since it can handle more transaction times.

taxes are usually not on transactions. I'm not sure what you mean by "BTC to BTC transactions will be tax free".
taxes are usually on things like income or gains and then there's a tax in many jurisdictions on creating value (VAT)
Thats a big misconception, taxes arent on BITCOIN or USD or EUR or the currency itself. Taxes are on you. You are the instrument that is taxed, not the currency. Or more precisely your actions/liberties are taxed. You are their tax slave and they tax your freedom (or your right) of doing an economic transactions or economic activity. They cant tax bitcoin because bitcoin is not a living being, but they can tax you. +1. Well-said. So that means we will be slaves forever? Because we are alive and we are being subjected to taxation? Its called people with power who has or own that system of control. So regardless if you use that service, you basically are in risk of their procedures. The person obviously didnt know the extent of the banks financial situation which no one does and its just a victim. It really does make you wonder, if that money was better off in cash in a vault. |

I think the true price range would be high mid 100ish like 170 until people figure out what xt will do.
Most of it is because we dont know how the whole xt situation will do after the hard fork is done.

If the price gets any lower to that price, I have a feeling it`ll drop even further.
And thats much of a scare since the average person isnt tune with the technical aspects of bitcoin split. Or they have concerned questions to ditch the coin of what XT will do for bitcoin.

You know what's even scarier? Not that the price is falling, but if bitcoin never existed in the first place. It's just how the market plays out its own games on people. The price is based on how people react to certain events. Up or down, it is the people in the markets who decide. There's nothing scary to it, unless you put your life savings in it at stake. The world with no options would really suck, cause then any banking crisis we just take it like a champ without moving our money. I think most people under appreciate that bitcoin itself exist to protect our money from those events happening.. |

Its just of how people percieve with the new hard fork update.
Some people want to see the bitcoin not split up, some are forced to saying if we do go with the change how does transactions would react for old core users.
