Yes, many companies are already regulated in France, even Binance is regulated in France for some time now.
I'm not a big fan of AML measures but they will at least make it harder for some scammers and idiots, this can only be positive for the market overall. BTC and the world of cryptos will perhaps be a little more credible in the eyes of the general population after some regulations, it is sad but I have the feeling that it is not evitable, even in our interest as BTC holder.
People will always have the possibility to do P2P, or to go through ATMs to buy their cryptos. The same goes for reselling, even if you stay legal, there are easy ways to get away with not paying taxes in the European Union. In France for example, the rules regarding taxes for small holders and traders have just been relaxed in January 2023, so it's not all bad news. You will find super easily some nice places to pay your taxes for cryptos profits in EU, between 0 and 10 %.

Je pense que Binance va offrir une solution de type "passive" pour contourner ce problème. L'image mes amis, l'IMAGE  Je n'en sais rien objectivement, mais je les imagine bien créer un nouveau stablecoin et proposer un échange sans frais contre BUSD jusqu'à une certaine date aux utilisateurs. Binance s'en tape du BUSD en soi, c'est le monopole / part de marché et maintenir les utilisateurs sur BEP20 globalement qui les intéressent vraiment. Les x centaines de millions que rapportent BUSD à Binance par an, sont toujours moins juteux pour eux qu'une simple série de NFT Ronaldo de merde. BUSD a l'avantage d'offrir un revenu stable même en bear market, mais Binance ne joue pas comme ça. Les pertes / bénéfices à l'instant T sont pas trop ce qui compte, ce qui compte c'est la part de marché, construire un monopole, et de tenir jusqu'en 2024 Q4. En dehors de ces grandes lignes, ils feront le maximum pour protéger les utilisateurs pour conserver leurs acquis, mais si BUSD devait sombrer, ils ne seraient pas plus trauma que ça Chez Binance, l'image > pognon (en bear market, le gros pognon c'est pas actuellement qu'il se fait pour eux) |

Bonjour à tous, Un peu ému de trouver encore un forum actif, surtout celui-ci ;-) Je vais avoir besoin de votre aide Je suis à Dakar au Sénégal et j'ai remarqué qu'il n'y avait aucun noeud bitcoin dans la région (j'ai peut-être tor  ) Alors j'ai récupéré un vieux raspberry pi 3, une nouvelle alim 3A, un vieux disque dur 1To et hop ! Retour dans la joie de la ligne de commande sous linux  J'ai presque fini la vérification des blocks (il m'a fallu 2 mois et demi et l'installation d'Ubuntu sur mon ordi)... I agree with you Artemis3. The fees have become really hard and it's very frustrating to think that it's because of this Ordinal mess. We can still trade with small fees, fortunately, but you have to look at the mempool more than you used to, and I must admit that it's annoying some days. Is it a will of the big mining pools? Do they just want heavier blocks with more fees and therefore more profits for them? One could imagine something like that. In any case, if it goes on like this, I think that the Lightning Network will experience a new boom. The Bitcoin blockchain is becoming less and less efficient nowadays, I hope like you that this NFT fad will pass. Developers should find a way to deal with this. I just have to make a quick comment on the permanent dark-mode styling. I know it's a trend in more techy spaces to gravitate towards dark mode (I've worked on products where the decision makers insisted that we had to have a dark mode), but the majority of the public, and your average user, prefers a white or light background and black font. People might say they like dark mode, but statistics in web design show that sites with a lighter color scheme see longer user retention, a decreased bounce rate, etc. over primarily dark sites. There's a reason all of the top 100 websites are primarily light color-schemed.
I like the cards style of the articles on the site. Perhaps in conjunction with a light color scheme, you could add a small drop shadow to them to make them stand out well.
I totally disagree with you. I even use a widget to make dark every webpage. For people interested, the addon is named "Dark Reader" Light mode is a mistake from my point of view. I am (with my job + personnal usage) using a computer around 10 hours minimum per day, without dark mode I would be blind right now I think. I never understood how can people not having headaches without using a dark mode to be honnest. OP, I am still looking your website on a daily basis. Still happy when using it, but when you have time, can you please add a 1 or 4 hours timeframe on your Charts page ? Otherwise, I particularly appreciate the Bitcoin Live page, minimalist but efficient. Just a final point, could you tell me how you do to scrap the articles that are on the front page? Yes, this earthquake was extremely violent for the Turkish and Syrian people.  If you take the context, with the Turkish inflation at 186% and with their unsympathetic dictator who shut down social networks just to avoid them asking the question "Where did the taxes collected (30 billion) for the Earthquake Funding went", they are really in trouble... Once again, corruption is doing ravages and devestation on the society, so if nature gets involved, it can only become hell for this people...   Fortunately there are some NGOs that are not corrupt, another topic is about that on the forum. I don't know if you have seen but donations in cryptos and BTC are numerous, don't hesitate if you want and can, 10 usd there already helps a lot. Unlikely to happen I'm afraid. I have trust issues to do with working with someone again, and it would be a bastard move on my part to take his idea and just do it for myself.
Again, I just wish you would do something that would challenge you and help the community. While the idea of this payment scheme is great, you are the only one who knows what is good or bad for yourself and your pool. Anyway, just on a personal note, I hope this will be implemented, it would be a great boost for the whole pool from my point of view. Having the choice would be really cool, we would get closer and closer to the perfect BTC pool. I don't really understand how this would be a bastard move on your part, there is no intellectual property on the payout scheme to my knowledge. Even if I have no problem to let hashboards run to mine BTC solo, no matter the cost of electricity, a possibility of 80/20 for example, would help me a lot to continue this hobby (for me it is only a hobby now) of solo mining BTC. What you mean with "mining time" ? Your Bitcoin Core is probably syncing, you will need to wait. Some transactions cannot appear until it is fully synced Please send us a screenshot showing what you are talking about |

I woke up to a new question. Let's assume I am using Bisq to buy bitcoin using an electronic payment system like Skrill or Wise. A trader accepts my offer, we both deposit and send our security deposits and the trade is underway. When I attempt to send the money, I realize that my scumbag e-wallet provider (I am looking at you Skrill) froze my wallet asking additional questions about by business activities. It happens if you use them long enough. With the trade already started, can both trading partners cancel it by agreement without losing their security deposits, or can open trades only be cancelled by mediators/arbitrators during dispute resolution? My guess is that a Bisq 3rd-party has to step in. I think if you are able to record your screen to prove that you are facing an issue, the trade would be canceled and you refunded. La bitlicense, les impôts payables en cryptos dans certaines villes, proposition pour être étendu dans d'autres états, le pays avec le plus de bitcoin ATM, payer ses courses en bitcoins chez Walmart, les plus gros acteurs basés là-bas, les entreprises de mining,...
Bref, tout l'écosytème qui s'est installé dans le pays...
Je ne dis pas que c'est des conneries, mais ca surprend un peu cette façon de faire. Ca correspond pas du tout.
Perso je ne cherche pas trop à creuser. Ca serait de la perte de temps : les infos essentielles vont émerger si elles le doivent, le reste (90% du bruit) sera oublié comme d'hab. Je note juste que Mica se profile à l'horizon, qu'on connait tous les volontés de régulation qui émanent d'un peu partout (et pas forcément à mauvais titre, je pense), et entre autres récentes news les emirats arabes banissent les privacy coins pour se conformer à la régulation, que Kraken vient de prendre 30m$ d'amende et stop ses activités de staking aux us... etc etc... C'est comme ça que les choses vont se mettre en place, et l'écrémage se faire. Comme j'aime la modération (non Halab je ne parle pas de toi, mdr), je pense qu'un juste milieu entre la foire aux shitcoins/memecoins sans utilité et le maximalisme BTC va émerger au fil du temps. Je partage ton avis. Je n'aime pas trop la monomanie européenne qui consiste à vouloir défoncer les stablecoins dans les années qui arrivent, mais dans l'ensemble, les régulations à l'échelle des continents / mondiale reste la seule vraie solution pour arrêter ce discrédit perpétuel initié par des mindfuckers via des réseaux sociaux. LOL les émirats arabes unis qui bannissent les privacy mais qui continuent d'héberger 80% des scammers d'envergure mondiale sur ton territoire, tout en arrêtant un influenceur douteux de temps en temps pour montrer patte blanche aux Occidentaux quand nécessaire. La seule chose qui me rend fermement optimiste quant aux cryptos en général, c'est que trop de gens en ont besoin pour que ça puisse être supprimé, et trop de gens blindés ont intérêt à les garder sous le coude. Les régulations c'est pour moi utile dans le sens où ça va finir par lisser le marché à long terme, enfin j'imagine.. Pour en revenir au post de départ, perso je continue de regarder ça de loin, trop souvent ils font d'un chou un potager.. |

Cette page semble indiquer que oui : https://localbitcoins.com/guides/verification-guideDu coup "l'essence décentraliste et communautaire de Bitcoin" (et tout ce qui facilitait le blanchiment d'argent) en a pris un sacré coup dans la gueule. Et semi-HS : et ça explique un peu pourquoi les volumes n'ont pas explosé au Nigéria sur LocalBitcoins (cf un autre topic). Exactement, c'est ce que je sous-entendais dans ma réponse avant. Le KYC a tué LocalBTC, les normes et mesures de Compliance / AML globalement en tout cas. Il n'y a plus de possibilité de faire un travail propre au regard de la vie privée en UE actuellement, ça ne s'arrangera pas avec Mica et compagnie. Le "vrai" Localbitcoins est déjà mort il y a quelques années, c'est à ce moment là qu'un monument de BTC est mort, pas aujourd'hui |
