Campaign week starts from tomorrow, just after the midnight today, UTC time. Please wear signature, avatar and personal text ASAP. Once done, please make a post after this response with your total number of posts. You must do it so that I know when you updated the required bio information.
It was hard for me to pick only these 15 members from 5 pages of applications. I wish I could accept more in the campaign but it's the reality we need to accept. Everyone else, sure I will see you in another campaign unless you have a neutral feedback related to post quality and any red tag from DT which I agree with.

Cheers,

Thank you Royse777 ! I am very happy to work again with you and will do my best to do the best work possible.

I confirm that signature, avatar and bio is updated as requested in OP topic.

Current posts including this one : 312

Have a great day !

2287  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: one ip one vote on: February 20, 2023, 04:41:00 PM
Please correct me if I am wrong but one node / One vote is not  true today and since a long time.

People are not solo-mining BTC anymore through Bitcoin Core

I don't know what we should say now, one ASIC one vote ? One Eh/s one vote ?
2288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bahrainian Hotel accepts bitcoin Payment on: February 19, 2023, 08:47:17 AM
We can already book some hotel rooms and flights with Travala using BTC and other cryptos.

But it is nice to see a merchand / hotel accepting direct reservations with BTC (without a third party website managing the reservations I mean). I would love to not involve Binance in it but we cannot have everything  Grin

2290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gamers beware: miners are now painting GPU memory on: February 19, 2023, 07:56:02 AM

Think about a second what you are exactly asking from bitmain now. Basically you are asking them to give you free money. Yes it all boils down to "Bitmain, y u no gimme money?"

No you are  wrong, what I am asking to Bitmain is to respect the delays they gave when they signed a sale order with someone, and to tell "used" instead of "new /  never used" when the miner is used. I don't care what they are supposed to do in some theories, in the real world when they sell miners, it means that they earn profit from the sell, otherwise they wouldn't propose it to the people. So they just have to respect the deal, like it's supposed to be in absolutely every commercial deal.

"Asking them to give free money" : FREE MONEY ? Are serious ?
You mean I don't pay for electricity ? I don't pay neither for parts, or the building I bought to use them ? I don't pay my ASICs ? Is my time spent to do maintenance and to manage the ASICs worthless ?
Where is the free money ? Do you think that I am a 14 yo person who never organized a mining setup ?

Telling me that I am asking from Bitmain for free money is totally crazy.

For these reasons, I always recommend people to buy crypto instead of mining. Mining isn't worth the trouble you are getting.

It depends, maybe for you that's fine. Each situation is different, each country has his own kw/h rate, people have different skills, different opportunities to buy and host hardware..

For me, mining was and is still more than profitable, so if I just bought coins instead of my mining equipment, I would not have earn as much as with mining (around 2 times less). Even with the current difficulty, you can still be profitable if your electricity rate is not too violent.

2291  Local / Échanges / Re: EXMON - Échange de Cryptomonnaies P2P sans KYC ni limites on: February 18, 2023, 09:02:58 PM
Aucune régulation EU / US ?, ni AML ni Counter terrorism regulations ?

2292  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [OFFER] Testnet bitcoins tBTC on: February 18, 2023, 04:55:56 PM
I guess it's time to restart testnet again. That would make it testnet version 4 already.

If you have testnet Bitcoin you don't need, you can do everyone a favour and send them to a faucet.
What should I do if I don't have Bitcoin Test Net??

If you need some testnet coins you can claim some through a faucet, you will find plenty of them with a Google search. You can also mine them with a USB miner, or your CPU/GPU.

You can find specifics topics about testnet mining here on the forum
2293  Economy / Lending / Re: DarkStar's Loans | BTC, USDT | 2.70%-5.01% Monthly on: February 18, 2023, 04:52:37 PM
hey OP

I understand at 100% that you refused the loan, and there is no problem at all with that from my side of course.

But when you propose a service, asking for conditions, and when you refuse the service even in theory the conditions are meet, it is not necessary to leave a neutral feedback.

(+ I had successfully paid Willi many times for blocks runs, and 2 weeks ago MoparMiningLLC for a 500 USD deal, I have a trade history,)

Have a great day

Bare minimum requirements != requirements to get a loan. Imagine all of the scammers if earning 25 merits let you take an unlimited size loan  Tongue

But fair enough, I wasn't aware of your previous trade history and it didn't come up when I was looking through your profile. I removed the neutral trust left on your profile. I do think it is worth mentioning on profiles when the amount is very unusual - for example if someone with actually no trade history requested a $5000 loan, they would be suspicious.
t

Thank you for removing the feedback ! My bad, I haven't read the good post about the conditions, what you're saying totaly make sense about the potential scammers !

Yeah I should ask to people to leave a feedback after a trade / deal, I made a lot of transactions here and no one is mentionned, I will pay attention to that point next times!

Have a good weekend!
2294  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: how to get block height for given day on: February 18, 2023, 12:58:00 PM
The easiest way could be to take the list of the blocks mined by a big mining pool.

For example, you can be 100% sure that Antpool does mine at least some blocks per day, so you will have an Block Height associated to a date.

Example :  list of blocks mined by Antpool

Terms:
1. No collateral is required for loans. If you have valid collateral, please see the second post in this thread for better rates.
2. You must have a minimum of 25 earned merit to apply for a loan. I delete all applications that do not meet the bare minimum requirements.
3. I reserve the right to deny any loan for any reason without explanation.
4. There is a soft maximum loan term of 3 months. Please let me know if you're looking for a loan over a longer time period and we can discuss further.
5. A one time fee of 2% of the loan principal will be charged if more than a month has passed after borrower's estimated loan duration and the borrower did not inform me of the delay. This fee is charged in addition to normal interest, and no fee (besides normal interest) will apply if I am informed of the delay.
6. I may or may not leave positive/neutral trust feedback after a loan is repaid. Do not borrow from me expecting to get positive trust.
7. A signed message is required for a no collateral loan.
8. The spreadsheet with loan repayment amounts may be incorrect for whatever reason and is only meant to serve as an aid for the borrower. I try to ensure the accuracy but bugs and errors can happen. If the spreadsheet is found to be incorrect, you will be reimbursed any extra paid or be expected to make up the difference if you underpaid.
10. I reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. New terms will apply to new loans only.
