1721  Economy / Lending / Re: BTC Loan 1000 BTC on: June 24, 2012, 02:50:29 PM
I am interested in possibly acquiring a bitcoin loan of about 1000 BTC. I would pay back monthly with bitcoins. I am a trusted member of the community, and am active on the forums and IRC. Would anyone offer me the loan, at how much interest and with what conditions attached?

Please give an example of an established user willing to completely trust you.
My point exactly.  All he's done to get himself "trusted" is give away like 2 bitcoins in IRC.

Also:
[10:45am] MysteryBanshee: danieldaniel: i dont really care if peopel distrust me
[10:45am] MysteryBanshee: i know im trustworthy

I see that as a warning sign, no offense.  If he doesn't care if people trust him, well, why would he care to pay the 1000 btc loan back.
1722  Economy / Lending / Re: BTC Loan 1000 BTC on: June 24, 2012, 02:38:01 PM
23 posts, not even registered with gribble (in -otc) (10:36am] MysteryBanshee: im too lazy to use gribble).

I'm sorry, but how does that amount to "active and trusted".

Please tell me if I'm missing anything here.  1000 BTC just seems like a hell of a lot for a loan with almost no feedback.
1723  Economy / Securities / Re: [BOUNTY FOR SOMEONE TO DO THIS] NASDAQ Stock on: June 24, 2012, 01:20:55 AM
Even getting a cheap OTC ticker via a reverse merger can cost about $30,000.  You'd better up your bounty.
Well, fuck.  Smiley

Hi,
I would like to start a bounty for someone to make a mining corporation on an IRL market.  It doesn't really have to be Nasdaq, it could be one of those smaller ones.  I think one's called OTC-BB?

GLBSE is an IRL market. And I'm looking forward to watching it "grow up."
It is an IRL market.  And I really hope it grows up, but it can only have investors that are interested in Bitcoin.  I just feel like expanding would be good.  I guess there are very few people that this would be practical for, sadly (given the $30,000 "fee").  Sad

It would be a cool way to advance BTC, and I would definitely invest in it!  Cheesy

I want to start it with .1 BTC.

I know that is literally nothing, but I'm kinda BTC-poor.  I hope some other people put up some too.  Smiley

1725  Economy / Lending / Re: First mention of Bitcoin on EDGAR DB - Loan documentation for a mining op on: June 23, 2012, 04:53:48 PM
That's interesting.  That 22% interest... Isn't that a little high?  I would personally have no idea, but just seems huge.

danieldaniel = noob

I agree with danieldaniel and think that the mining operation will only pay interest.
vite == noob.

I agree with vite on the fact that he agreed with me.

Kthx.

EDIT:
Why are you willing to pay such high interest? That seems really ridiculous, but then again I've never looked into private loans like this.
Because I didn't plan to keep the loan for the entire term (3 years).  I planned to have it paid off within a year, and as it is, I'll have it paid off in a few days, which means I've only had to pay 3 months worth of interest on it.  And because, no bank wanted to give me a personal loan in that amount.

If it wasn't used to purchase assets that generate income, I would never think about taking out that much of a loan at that interest rate.
Oh, that explains it a bit.

Can you shut up already?  I don't post on the forums much, but you deserve it this time.

You came onto #bitcoin-otc and starting ranting about how we all need to rate you -10 to "troll to the max" because we were already trolling you by rating you -2.

The bitcoin WOT is a WEB OF TRUST.  I don't trust you at all.  I'm not trolling you by rating you -2.

Also, if you weren't negative yet (and therefore couldn't rate), you would have rated me negatively to make me mad (like you already did to two other people).

I have a good idea: Just pay the guy back his Bitcoins.  Take a few, too!  Make yourself feel good.

We don't need all this hurrdadurr about your rationalizations.

Just, please, pay him back.

Nice spamming with negative ratings on bitcoin-otc.

Nice abuse of the rating system.

+9000 points for you too !

Just because I forgot to say in last message and cannot edit : don't forget to leave more - ratings with your buddies and sockies so I can reach -100 ratings. It is my life goal !
I have a total of one "sockie".  He's not even registered with gribble, only nickserv.  People know that I own him.

"Spamming with negative ratings" <-- Logs or it didn't happen.  Sure, I've joke-rated a few times.  Like a lot of other people.

"Abuse of the rating system" <-- I took the joke-rates off.  Also, you're the one who rated two people badly without any real reason.

"+9000 points for you too !" <-- What?

Oh crap!  That explains a lot.

1733  Economy / Gambling / [SOLVED] Satoshidice doesn't pay me! on: June 02, 2012, 01:11:36 PM
Hello,
This is the _second_ time that this has happened.  I bet on satoshidice, it shows up on the site, and I don't get paid!

I would appreciate it if I could get paid.  The first instance can be found at http://satoshidice.com/full.php?tx=4e7cbf60a4d624534039b47297af0783d1d342dc65ab43168c1818de0c044442

Click on the "payment tx", it doesn't show up.

The second one is http://blockchain.info/tx-index/7484426/4d3a6475b4980c88d18630fb7289f3a6e7154874d63186fa86465bab2eef3538 (the sending transaction, it didn't even SHOW UP).

EDIT:
And yes, my wallet DOES work.  I have had other bets that went through (most other bets).

EDIT:
It showed up.  Thanks satoshidice!
1734  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Electricity! How its killing me? What to do for power!? on: May 27, 2012, 08:10:55 PM
Funny. I noticed someone selling uranium ore on Silk road while I was browsing through the armory the other day
if you're in the US, you can easily order it from
http://unitednuclear.com/
And it's mostly legal too.
Bro, at least give me some credit for showing you that site.

1735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need someone to work on Bitcoin-Postal Mail project with me on: May 08, 2012, 08:06:10 PM
the user/member of course... unless i'm mistaken? any thoughts from danieldaniel on this?
No, it's all automatic with the website I posted.

Also, PM'ing you about the interface.
1736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need someone to work on Bitcoin-Postal Mail project with me on: May 06, 2012, 07:02:09 PM
That is an awesome site. Thanks for showing it to me; it will be perfect for an unrelated (non-bitcoin) project.
Smiley  Glad it was useful to you.
1737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need someone to work on Bitcoin-Postal Mail project with me on: May 06, 2012, 06:59:48 PM
at the moment i'm a little busy with other projects, and i was really just trying to scare you Smiley

it seems like an interesting service. what do you think you could do with it?
I said in the thread that I was thinking of a "mail a bitcoin" sort of service.

I haven't seen a fully developed service out there like this, that is completely automatic, so I feel like it could be a useful addition to the community.
1738  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: For Gavin and other developers or bitcoin supporters. on: May 06, 2012, 06:57:29 PM
If you want to limit sales to prescription-only, you can even do that while retaining privacy by using Bitcoin addresses as pseudonymous medical IDs - doctor wants to prescribe you $10 worth of a certain type of pill per week for a year, you give him one of your addresses, he types in to the system that that address is allowed to buy up to $520 of that pill, and the patient deposits money into that address first and uses the value stored in that address to pay if he wants to buy some.

The next day on Silkroad:
"Private Key for up to 520$ of drug X for sale"
Lol.
1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need someone to work on Bitcoin-Postal Mail project with me on: May 06, 2012, 06:52:23 PM
i might be interested, but i would need more information. it sounds like your either hiding something or you're protecting your idea. you can pm me with details and i'll tell you how i can help, or if you could simply post them on this thread, i'm sure others would provide some insight as well.
I don't want everyone to steal my idea, but I guess its all publicly available on the web.  Lemme edit the thread.
Edit:
Edited.

i suggest you re edit your thread, and remove the link to your resource. resources are assets, including information assets. i myself had no idea this website existed until you posted it, and now nothing will stop me from creating a project of my own using the api services provided by the resource you just listed.

my point, keep your resources, but share your ideas. Smiley
Well, I want people to be able to look at the site.  If someone else does it without me, I really could care less.  I would obviously prefer them to work with me, but they can do whatever they want.

Also, IMO, anyone who is reputable enough to be trusted with making a site wouldn't steal another persons idea, but as I said, do whatever you want with it.  Smiley
