This forum is really starting to depress me.

Also, "hypothetically" my ass.
1462  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] BFL Jalapeno Preorder on: December 03, 2012, 11:40:13 AM
i actually wanna make some profit, i mean i buy this just hours after the pre order opens, and i could just cashback my order months ago, but now if i have a nice offer i can sell them. Plus mining is not my priority right now, i have a lot of gpus and and few singles right now. So think about some number , check the forums for the prices and let me know. Wink
Ok, and BTW, I only want one of the Jalapeņos.  I'll think of an offer.
1463  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] BFL Jalapeno Preorder on: December 03, 2012, 12:22:38 AM
make me an offer  Wink

I have always been bad at making offers... Give me a bit to think about it.

Do you want to make a profit on this, or do you need the money?

And, finally, I got an offer.
1464  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] BFL Jalapeno Preorder on: December 02, 2012, 11:31:34 PM
Bumpity bump bump.
1465  Economy / Goods / [WTB] BFL Jalapeno Preorder on: December 02, 2012, 12:33:49 AM
I would like to buy a jalapeņo preorder.  I will consider any reasonable price.

If you're looking to make a huge profit on it, this is not for you.

Lower order numbers are better!
1466  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Shady business practice by Coinbase #Brian Armstrong on: December 02, 2012, 12:25:18 AM
ok now things got beyond an obvious resolution and have confirmed that Coinbase is devious in the bitcoin world.
I just called my bank and they said to go through normal ach reversal process that wud take few days.
No offense, but that is overreacting a bit.  How many times did you try contacting them?  One, I'm guessing.  Maybe they didn't get the email.

Also, I had the same problem a while ago.  It was a bug... They fixed it within a few days.  My advice: Be patient.

FINA-FUCKING-lY

I'm really sorry about this guys.  Really.

1468  Economy / Goods / Re: [Complete] $200 Amazon Code For 12.59 BTC on: November 29, 2012, 11:45:17 PM
What he said.  There was an issue, but projects was very helpful in getting everything fixed.

Great and honest guy!
1469  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Shady business practice by Coinbase #Brian Armstrong on: November 29, 2012, 11:35:16 PM
Give them a little bit longer to respond.  In my experience, they sometimes take awhile, but they are always nice and helpful.
1470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Big Buyer on BitFloor on: November 29, 2012, 06:02:26 PM
Scenario:
I lend you 10 btc.  You agree to pay back on January 1.

January 1 arrived, you say you don't have the Bitcoins.  But, since it was just monopoly money, you have no obligation to pay me back.

Does that sound OK to you?

(sorry to continue this, btw)
1471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Isis ATP [Automated Trading Platform] - Discussion on: November 29, 2012, 05:52:37 PM
So has anyone completed a "fixed" version of this?
1472  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking for $50 Paypal in exchange for my Bitcoins on: November 29, 2012, 05:46:30 PM
I'm not personally interested, but would the rate be 1:1?
1473  Economy / Goods / Re: Lottery tickets? on: November 28, 2012, 11:36:22 AM
It would have to be someone with extensive reputation, because they would have to be trusted to distribute prizes (or get a lawyer if it's the jackpot).

That's why BitLotto should be seeing way more use than it is getting now.     You can join a pool, exactly as you describe:
Oh, wow.  Didn't know that.

Thanks!
1474  Economy / Goods / Lottery tickets? on: November 27, 2012, 11:05:58 PM
Is there any place where you can "pool" with others for lottery tickets for BTC?

For instance, the powerball is at ~$500 million.  If 10 people pool to buy 10 tickets, and one wins, you split it 50 million each (of course this wouldn't be the real amount because of taxes and if it's the lump sum it will be less).

Anyone offering that?

It would have to be someone with extensive reputation, because they would have to be trusted to distribute prizes (or get a lawyer if it's the jackpot).
1475  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: ENTROPAY VIRTUAL CARDS IN EXCHANGE FOR YOU BITCOINS on: November 26, 2012, 07:42:04 PM
I really dont care what you think, i have made several trades here, and have my clients too, so you can do whatever you want. My post is pretty clear, i dont want to be rude, but if it says mtgox + 10 %, its mtgox + 10 %. If you dont understand that, and ask such a question, you are an idiot, or you ar joking with me.
Yeah, he was making sure you didn't make a typo.  And, I'll state again, nobody is going to trade with that attitude.  What if something goes wrong during the trade?  Who's to say that you won't flip out and start raging?

And, for your information, I have done hundreds of trades in the Bitcoin community.  It doesn't matter... If I'm an asshole, nobody is going to trade with me.
1476  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Circle of Trust [Game/experiment] on: November 26, 2012, 07:39:40 PM
Instead of sending btc to you and selling the rest, coin base sold all of it.  I have to buy it back and will then send it.
1477  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: ENTROPAY VIRTUAL CARDS IN EXCHANGE FOR YOU BITCOINS on: November 25, 2012, 02:04:51 AM
I THINK MY POST IS PRETTY CLEAR, DOENT IT?. IN CASE YOU WANT TO BUY AND NOT JUST ASK STUPID AND OBVIOUS QUESTIONS, JUST LET ME KNOW. THANKS.
Woahh, nobody's gonna want to trade with that attitude.  It wasn't a stupid question, it was a clarification.
1478  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling EntroPay VISA Cards for Bitcoins! on: November 25, 2012, 02:01:44 AM
Wow.  9% fee, that's a great deal.

And I'm pretty sure this is against their TOS.
1479  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS $30 Amazon gift card on Saturday on: November 24, 2012, 09:53:31 PM
I can offer $31.5 worth of BTC (mtgox average) for them both.
PMing you now.
1480  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Circle of Trust [Game/experiment] on: November 24, 2012, 07:38:23 PM
I don"t see a transaction from danieldaniel to 13373CuvtwQGgDWYv28pm3mTxy2bGS5U4D for the appropriate amount on the 20th. danieldaniel, please post your tx details.

Thanks for being on top of this -- I just sent you a tip Wink
Don't mark me as a scammer btw, XD.  I sent an email to coin base about this.  There was a balance problem on my account before and they ended up messing up my transactions for, like, 2 days.  They'll probably fix it soon.
Running into Coinbase's Fractional-Reserve-Didn't-Work-Default is no excuse for not sending on the coin in a timely manner.</trolling>
I was about to make a rage comment, but then I saw the trolling tag.  Might want to nest that properly.

"<trolling> Running into Coinbase's Fractional-Reserve-Didn't-Work-Default is no excuse for not sending on the coin in a timely manner.</trolling>"

In all seriousness though, I'm really sorry about not sending this yet.  Sad
