1441  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: R.I.P. Poloniex (new face-image requirements) on: June 02, 2018, 01:05:39 PM
I have a verified non legacy account, though I'd like to see a definition of what legacy actually is, and I've never been frozen or asked to reverify. Because of that it makes me slightly paranoid. I don't want to blithely deposit a load and be asked to prove more than I already have as I don't have any more docs to offer.
It all depends on your trade volume.Earlier, the document verification only applied for high volume legacy accounts but the recent updates have made it mandatory for every account created.

Shapeshift? Changelly? I haven't heard any big accusations for these exchanges(yet).
Apparently poloniex broke their promise,as they said something else on December 27,2017[1]
I wouldn't touch changelly with a 5 inch pole. They have had a very bad history of holding withdrawals for a long time. You know when I asked for the alternatives, I expect them to be as good as Polo in other terms as well.

1442  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: R.I.P. Poloniex (new face-image requirements) on: June 01, 2018, 08:44:16 PM
Anyway, this is crystal clear to me: RIP, Poloniex. I will no longer use their services, as long as other exchangers continue offering anonymity.
Can you name a single exchange which offers anonymity ? I mean after significant amount of trades most of these exchanges tend to ask for documents for verification.Poloniex is just the start, soon you will have the exchanges which are heavily regulated by the government policies.Having said that, my account is also locked out of trades on Poloniex. I'm not sure should I verify my identity or find a better reliable service.
1443  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone played on betking.io?? looking for some recent reviews.. on: June 01, 2018, 08:26:05 PM
Has anyone had any problems with this site??? Right now.. I've only seen 10-20 users online total... dunno if thats a bad sign or not.. last time i tried playing on site with few users... I busted 100k doge under 5 seconds....... imafamous... duckdice.io... almost tempted to try the site .. just due to the tron... appericate any info.. thanks
Definitely don't doubt the reputation of the website. They have been operating fairly for a long time and have also paid out for various competitions on the forum.Last year or so the website was on sale and I think due to very high selling price, the website never got sold but I could be wrong. You should be able to find their sell thread on the gambling section.

The original owner of the site is quite known and trusted here.
1444  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ⭕️ Esports Data - Abios leading esports/gaming data provider since 2015. ⭕️ on: June 01, 2018, 08:18:21 PM
Any information on the prices for the API ? Also where do you get your odds from ? Do you have a team of bookies who create the odds or you are borrowing them from the chain of other bookies ? Also do you allow bet matching over the odds say for a third party gambling site ?
1445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HTC Plans to Ship a Blockchain Phone This Year on: June 01, 2018, 07:54:17 PM
Conceptually, the idea is good for the crypto market as it constitutes a step in easing the use of crypto into the potentiality mass adaption. If the idea kicks-in, others may follow and we would have a boost.
That also means, the policies will get stricter on the usage of blockchain products. The problem with commercialising blockchain stuff is, it's dissolves the entire point of it.I hope their operating system will be open-sourced though.

The downside that I see is that, if if indeed does act as a hardware wallet, it inherently constitutes a high risk even if it is encrypted, fingerprint locked or retina scan protected. Just how many of us would walk around with our ledger nano s in our hand all the time and leave it out in the open on top of a table at bars or restaurants ?
It will be more than just a wallet.I'm pretty sure they will handle those security measures properly. It's not really upto the company to make sure your finger print scan is safe with you.
1446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FORUM ScamICO.org Launched! on: June 01, 2018, 07:33:23 PM
ScamICO.org designed to help you to avoid investing into scam ICOs. On the Forum you can discuss or be more informed about scam ICOs mechanisms. You may ask community to help you to identify scam ICO.

Link: https://scamico.org/

How do you differentiate a good ICO from a bad one ? Don't tell me it depends on the one that pays you some tokens.

interesting idea, i might join to support your forum as i dont like this bitcoin fixed forum, they are all crying around now with bitcoin dying and losing influence over the market.
So this is not the first time bitcoin has died ? It has been dying since 2008 and still alive and kicking asses.

the main bitcoin part of the forum is now discussing same stuff that has been discussed 100 times before and are constantly speculating, you are doing a progressive step and i support you
Sure.If you don't like the forum, why don't you just go away ? I mean how hard it is to NOT post here anymore ?

but i think just founding something isnt enough, better would be unite existing interest groups and communities and support them with the forum you want to create
Good-Luck with that  Cool
1447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give thanks and praises to your favorite casino! on: June 01, 2018, 07:26:17 PM
My first +1 BTC win was at BitStarz more then 2 years ago. Later +1 BTC I won in several casinos like fortune jack, betcoin.tm, if anyone remember that casino, betcoin.ag, and several more.
Most of the casinos mentioned in that line are either gone rouge, turned into a scam, and are operating shadily.Take betcoin.ag for instance, they're still operating but with a new accusation against them every other week.

As the entire community would agree crypto-games.net is the truly deserving candidate when it comes to "praising your favourite casino."
1448  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Eric Suchomski internet scammer on: June 01, 2018, 07:22:49 PM
report your case to the police and hire a lawyer (it would be more advantageous to hire a lawyer).
Really ? I think the charges for the lawyer would be more than his potential loss.If the scammer has duped more members the same way, they can file a case online and then proceed with the lawyer. How did you find this guy in the first place ? Don't tell me bitcointalk is not the only forum where such shit happens.
1449  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam ICO Binex.trade. BEX token on: June 01, 2018, 07:17:54 PM
It is not reasonable to accuse an ICO as a scam without doing a proper research.
It is. [Change my Mind] = Two Indians leading an ICO ? Do you think we are idiots around here ?
You might be landscaping bitcoins for India but with no history on your LinkedIn page about your successful ventures makes it shady especially when you both are the developers, managers, architects of your own projects.May work out that in India but no here.

Yes the project most likely is a scam.
1450  Economy / Goods / Re: Сryptocurrency classified ads. Buy and sell with Bitcoin and Ethereum. on: June 01, 2018, 07:10:27 PM
Hi everyone, we want to introduce our site https://bitsburg.com - cryptocurrency classified ads, where you can buy and sell goods with Bitcoin or Ethereum. It is a craigslists on steroids, with better design and experience, but only for crypto instead fiat price.
Now that is a fresh niche ! Good Idea.

We believe that one day everyone will be able to use cryptocurrency everywhere in daily life. Our vision is that it becomes possible only when full cycle of manufacturing goods will be tied up in crypto. For now it's very complicated but we already can start selling our used stuff for cryptocurrency and stimulate the use of digital assets. It will give the market a chance to become stable and attain sustainable growth.
I agree with you.Absolutely love the website design and other features like automatic country display and detection. It's only about time when your project will kick it off.Marketing is what you need to invest in.Everything else is pretty much handled.I'm sure you will find investors as the product has a huge scope.
1451  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 ★ BRANGO CASINO ★ 🎲 on: May 31, 2018, 09:00:31 PM
I don't understand the co-relation between running a casino illegally and asking confidential documents from the players.Do you have rights to ask for such documents ? Mentioning in your terms and conditions doesn't make you a trusted entity to hold our documents.Just quoting your term here,

Quote

We reserve the right to request from you a copy of your proof of identity, address, copies of credit cards, an approval signed purchase history and/or other appropriate documentation when withdrawing credits, so as to provide fast payout, prevent fraud and make all financial transactions secure. If you fail to provide the requested documentation within 2 weeks, or submit fraudulent documentation, we reserve the right to cancel the payout and/or close or lock your User Accoun
I guess I'll just stay away.

this is amazing, is this new site? I just heard BRANGO CASINO. I'll try it now and use the BTALK30 bonus code  Grin Grin
I am sure that in a few moments many bonus chasers will enter the thread, be ready Grin Grin
Did you actually get accepted in the signature campaign or just wearing it as free promotion ?

1452  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Advice on crypto startup on: May 31, 2018, 08:16:17 PM
youtube does that already there are many good education channels there why does the world need you and your token?
That's a very rude way of replying.YouTube has numerous adds running midst course tutorials. If YouTube was so good, why people bother buying courses from Udemy? It is not and revolution in that stream is much needed.

OP your vision is concise but it's hard to find Universities which will comply with your idea. They have money to make Smiley
1453  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io - 💰 We've just launched Cash Out!!! ⚽ on: May 31, 2018, 08:10:35 PM
Apparently, they started asking out for KYC documents ,since when ? I find it hilarious how an unlicensed casino with multiple child scam sites has audacity to ask users for their personal documents ! And the worst part is, people are comfortable sharing it with them ?  Lips sealed

I liked the bitcoin gambling scenario back in 2016.I would rather jump off a cliff than share my documents with these scammers.
1454  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why does Bitpay suck so much? on: May 31, 2018, 08:03:04 PM
Yeah it sucks... But you can bypass it and get the address + amount by using one of those tools:

For Bitcoin payments: https://decoder.bip70.org/
For Bitcoin Cash payments: https://cashaddress.github.io/paymentbridge.html
Pretty sure an average internet user wouldn't know how to do all that.A experienced user will probably have their system compatible wallet already installed.

For me, I would rather just covert to fiat and buy directly
Me too.  I agree with OP that bitcoin isn't supposed to be this complicated, and people wonder why it hasn't been adopted as a currency.  Do you think the average person wants to deal with this bullshit?  This situation is something only a tech geek would even attempt to solve.  The average person would say, fuck this, I'm using my debit card!
Couldn't agree more.I think it is the high time our community comes together and writes to all their service users to stop using them. It's absolutely pathetic user experience. The most basic part of a bitcoin transaction is the address and I'm so fuckin pissed that these idiots don't reveal an address.Like what the fuck were the developers thinking ?
Had to buy a domain one day and tried paying with bitcoin, didn't. Used my card instead of wasting two hours setting a new wallet up.
1455  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New store that accepts bitcoin on: May 31, 2018, 07:41:36 PM
Jut opened an online store and I'm wondering if you actually use bitcoin to pay for clothing and accessories?
I definitely will if the products are of good quality. Most of the stores online accepting bitcoins that I have come across sell products of cheap quality and are poorly designed. It's like I want to spend my bitcoins but the current market has no value for money.

So the answer to your questions is Yes, it all depends on what you're selling. You can integrate ShapeShift API on your website to let customers pay with other coins as well.
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: General Publics Perception of Bitcoin? What are your experiences? on: May 31, 2018, 07:36:03 PM
The situation is more or less same everywhere. The typical answers I get around me are

 - Bitcoin ? Oh yeah I have some money lying around which I want to invest so do I need an account or something ?
 - Just saw the news the other day bitcoin is a big scam and it is illegal. Please operate safely before government takes an action.
 - Can you help me set-up a bitcoin account ? I want to bitcoin too.
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are investors got tired of ICOs? on: May 26, 2018, 12:19:42 PM
It seems that investors got tired of ICOs in the last months. Do you believe that ICO hype will come back soon?
It's not the investors that are tired of the ICO's,it's the government. In the last few months, SEC has cracked down a lot of illegal ICO's which operated without any licensing.Obviously in such a hostile environment it becomes difficult for an investor to risk their money. They rather wait for the things to settle instead of putting money where their mouth is.
1458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any gambling site that uses bitcoin? on: May 26, 2018, 12:15:13 PM
I have seen a lot of ICO project that offer their tokens for gambling or betting but I am not sure if there is any gambling site already implemented that we could gamble with other online members and having an online betting. Im sure that many will participate and I am hoping to see one if there is any you can suggest it here and post it as a comment. I love betting and I am hoping that I could participate one.
Do you mind specifying which type of betting suits you the most ? We at Crypto-Games.net have a number of games to satisfy your gambling needs.Apart from bitcoin, we also accept majority of the standard altcoins. You can click on my signature to know more.
1459  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Successful investment on: May 26, 2018, 12:10:28 PM
Which Bitcoin wallet is safer. I'm still waiting for the response.thanks
Simple Answer - > Bitcoin Core

Detailed Answer - > The way you store your coins decides how safer they're.Even if you have stored your coins in a hardware wallet but if multiple people have access to it , your coins are still not safe.Even if you make a paper-wallet and not protect it from getting accessed by anyone apart from you, your wallet will be at risk.Storing on blockchain.info with your seeds backed-up and used on a computer free of online vulnerabilities can offer a descent protection.
1460  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcointalkaccounts.com - scam??? on: May 26, 2018, 11:52:08 AM
Great answers. I was considering buying the account myself, and the site looked very skeptical. All you guys have great advises on this case, considering at bitcoinaccounts.com, you would have to pay in BTC that is worth over a hundred dollars on which you may get scammed and lose money.
Why would you want to buy an account in the first place ? You do know right buying/selling accounts is not encouraged on the forum anymore ? And I bet you for nuts they website is faking their green trusted account sales.

*the site looked very promising and the visuals look legit, but I haven't heard from anyone in the forum that the accounts which are bought from anywhere that worked.
If the do, the first thing DT would do is make that account worthless. Also setting up a website using a free template isn't much difficult.

I'm a newbie myself and these answers look very helpful.
Again, why buy an account ?
