1601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jackpot...... on: April 07, 2018, 01:48:46 PM
March became my lucky month in gambling sites, I won 2 jackpots that made me feel shock a little bit.

My first one was 0.00763365 btc won, and my big one is 2.46873821 eth... How about you did you experience to won Jackpot while playing at your favorite gambling site?

You call that a JackPot ? That is way far low than what people win weekly over at www.crypto-games.net.You can check our previous lottery winners here https://www.crypto-games.net/lottery/bitcoin .I know win is a win but if you call that a big win maybe you should change your sources of gambling. 1602  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Send and receive on Coinbase without ID on: April 07, 2018, 10:05:48 AM
I'm about to receive 15k in Bitcoin.
Bitcoin rates have fallen. You sure you still want to receive them in bitcoins ?

I'm.looking to receive them into my Coinbase account and was wondering whether I can send and receive BTC on there without them wanting a scan of my ID, a request that is insane given the security risk.
Don't.Coinbase is the FBI of the crypto-world.Go for exchanges like localbitcoins which enforce peer-to-peer policies. If they can't verify your details you will be locked out of your account with money. Moreover, why store your coins there ? Use a personal wallet like electrum or blockchain.info (go for later if you're not too tech savvy)
1603  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet are crediting players with BCH; May the Fork be with you on: April 07, 2018, 10:02:16 AM
Something told me somewhere it was not right, considering after so many months why would one need to do it and I got my answer, a new promotional gimmick to get users back, while if all get it without being eaten in the fees good but if not then it's bad.
But people don't value Bitcoin Trash anyway.I don't know if this gimmick would work out especially when the BCH party's over.

Lastly as pointed to you that you're not the only casino do it, this thread is not correct, misleading information with hidden agendas it seems.
They are certainly the last casino to do it if not the least.

CB: How about to try to bring your credibility back by withdrawing your crazy verification policies when high amount of withdrawals are requested ?
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ICO advertising confusion and FUD by Google, Facebook, and Twitter on: April 07, 2018, 09:27:55 AM
Corporate giants are turning their backs on the crypto community. Although this will limit scams on their platforms, these dishonest projects will still find ways to reach the unknowing investor. Potentially, we may see good projects lose their voices while the space fills with dishonest actors. We want to amplify the voices of the legitimate ICO's through exclusive partnerships and advertising where crypto enthusiasts are learning and investing.
Potentially good projects ? Tell me one except ETH,LISK,BIGCHAINdb,Waves ? Literally I could only come up with 5 names. The giants are taking over because their platforms have been used for blatant shit-posting and fake advertising.

I am happy to answer how to grow your concept into a community. What are your campaign goals? How does your token elevate the crypto community?
What ? What is the point you're trying make ? Don't sound like an idiot.

Move this to Service Discussion.
1605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India closes doors for Crypto Currency on: April 07, 2018, 09:24:06 AM
According to recent news, RBI which is India's central banking institution has advised to stop transactions from any crpto exchanges. This will stop the buying and selling of bitcoin and changing into local currency. Official statements hint more bad days for bitcoin.
That is extremely sad.Knowing that bitcoins is the only way Indian Government can't track the tax savers, they had to come up with something like that. They can stop exchanges but not peer-to-peer market places. What more you'd expect from a country which is submerged in corruption ?

LOL RBI is a fuckin joke.So it's okay to take loans worth billions and run away but not okay to trade cryptos ? If you're an Indian, you'd know what I'm hinting at.
1606  Economy / Services / Re: [To Hire] C++ developer needed for a small task with more future work on: April 07, 2018, 09:03:49 AM
Hi,

I'm looking for a developer / programmer who is proficient in C++ to make some changes in an existing script. It's small task but I'll have more similar tasks even larger ones if this task is successfully completed.

Speaking technically, there is no C++ script but a program which makes a huge difference.Do you mind describing the problem statement here ? This saves a lot of time involved in sending a message, having a conversation just to realise one isn't capable of solving the problem.

P.S. : C++ Developer here, not very proficient but since you said it's a 'small task' I might give it a shot.
1607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why kyc? on: April 06, 2018, 03:04:33 PM
It doesn't matter if you deposit $1 worth of Bitcoin and win $1 million and try and withdraw.
The problem is ,KYC is not done while the amount is deposited. It should be.

Most of these KYC issues with ID are because the deposited funds need to be verified for legitamitacy.
Why ? Do the players ask gambling websites to show their legitimacy by asking for valid licenses ? They don't ? Fact is,gambling websites which enforce KYC during withdrawals without an appropriate reason are straight robbers.

Say that hacker who stole Bitfinex funds about 2 years back sends some funds to a gambling site.

He deposits 20 BTC takes 1 bet and tries and withdraw 19.99 BTC, it will get halted and investigated.
Why should he be stopped ? Say someone invests in a house around 50 bitcoins, would he be asked for a KYC ? NO.

I make over 15k a month, you can suck my dick you old middle aged poor man
This is both pathetic and sad.
Sorry but I failed to distinguish which part is pathetic and which is sad.Making 15k a month isn't pathetic and having your dick sucked by a middle aged old fuck isn't sad either.

antwyspol:
Your the scammer. Stop posting false informations about people.
Your user name can be traced to your IP address and i will take legal action against you for posting my address and making that statement about me.
See you soon.
Is there a way you can trace IP addresses of the members on the forum. This will certainly help me discover and expose a lot of scammers. Please share your tactic with me genius.

1609  Economy / Services / Re: I need help for setting up open source crypto exchange on: April 06, 2018, 10:21:20 AM
Hello all,
I can see there are lots of open source crpyto exchanges out there.
I would like to setup one and need a partner who can help me with that.
I have a limited company registered already and can accept any fiat as deposit.
Would like to list as much as possible alts beside btc in the platform.
Anyone who has experience with setting up crypto platforms, please PM or write it here. Will apreciate any advice you can give.
Thank you in advance!

Trust me,if you're going to be running exchanges based on an open-source project ,you shouldn't be doing it in the first place.People are going to be dealing million bucks over the system,do you think an open-source project with literally no support from the developers will help you achieve that security to solve potential bugs. Can you list down one exchange which is successfully running over an open-sourced project ?
Thanks for the answer.
What do you suggest then?
Thanks
I would suggest, get a developer on-board who will fork the project from an open-source available repo and then implement your custom functionalities. You can choose not to make your project open-source but still keep it decentralised. The developer will work on all the loopholes which are not fixed in the open-source project and hence giving your custom exchange more reliability.
1610  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cost of getting a coin listed on: April 05, 2018, 12:56:35 PM
It just shows how shitty this ecosystem actually is. Exchanges are the foundation of the market, where they are responsible for offering all involved parties a stable and fair platform to trade on, but that's not the case unfortunately. It's quite embarrassing actually, because this is exactly the reason big money doesn't want to mess around with exchanges, and I can't blame them for that.
Welcome to capitalism,my friend. You think this is worst ? 5 years down the line you will have banks running the crypto-currency markets and traders will end up paying more in form of taxes and services from the money they make using trading.KYC is already taking over the ICO's and exchanges.

If I had millions to invest, I would never ever send it to ANY exchange in this market, because they are all crippled to the core. I wasn't all that positive about Poloniex's takeover, but that somewhat changed now. I seriously hope the institutions backing Circle will transform that exchange into a solid and worthy platform doing what all current exchanges couldn't do (and probably will never do) for years straight. This market needs to get rid of its niche touch in order to be taken to the next level. All these silly practices make me want to avoid exchanges entirely.
Not happening. It will be more restricted and regulated by centralised authorities as the time passes by.Congratulations if you  were here to witness the era from 2012-2015.Golden Years!
1611  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (No reward Bounty) Envion on: April 05, 2018, 12:48:24 PM
After gathering $100,012,279 Envion ICO was successful, BUT their bounty campaign doesn't go that way. INSTEAD! they cheated them and not giving any reward. I might look fool to those who support Envion and trust the project that much but this sentiment of mine is just true based on the actions done by Envion Team itself.
Before participating any any bounties, ask yourself the following questions
 - Are the bounty tokens escrowed ?
 - Is the campaigned managed by a reputed party ?
 - Is the ICO backed by a solid team of developers who are legit linkedIn users ?
 - Does participating in bounties give an assurance you will get paid ?

Your response should determine if it's a hit or a miss. You can't hold anybody else but yourself for your actions.
1612  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: XAPO now completely mobile, locking me out of my account! on: April 05, 2018, 12:36:48 PM
Has anyone else been able to get through to Xapo supervisors at all?  I don't have a mobile phone.  I found Textnow to obtain a local texting number so those with cells can still reach me that way when I am using my BB playbook, but Xapo won't recognize the VOIP phone number as a legit #.
Can't you just stop using the service ? How many bitcoins have you got stuck in there ?

I have repeatedly tried to regain access to my account, to no avail.  I now want to remove what little I have left there, and close the account, but they won't agree to follow my directions to remove the funds on my behalf even!  When I asked the email support rep for a phone number to contact a supervisor in the company, he went silent!
They will never give you any customer support numbers. Can't you just use a random throwaway number to get verified ?

As a computer tech, I find this completely unacceptable!  Anyone know how to get past email support to someone on the phone?
There is no "getting-past" unless you know one of them personally.Assuming to get their phone numbers, what's next ? Are you going to sue them over a few bucks ?

They are not a true bitcoin wallet as they don't give you full access to your bitcoin and also if you will loss your mobile number than they will be owner of your coins.
I don't know what idiot does it take to open a wallet on Zapo in 2018.
1613  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bookie Public Beta on: April 05, 2018, 12:30:36 PM
- This is more like a peer-to-peer betting chain without a bookie.Traditionally, most of the sports-betting websites are a bookie themselves linked to a chain of bookies. When you say your platform is decentralised,do you mean all your chains are completely free to create their own odds ?

- Website says anonymous betting but requires me to sign up to use the service. This is a turn down.

1.How do you make money ? What's your business model ?
2.Will you be enforcing KYC policies or other verification processes ?
3.What user trust rating model do you follow ? LocalBitcoins have user reputation which plays an important role in deciding how reliable the trader is.Do you follow something similar ?

Sorry if I missed out on things  in the first post,it's too long to seek the exact info I'am looking for.
1616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The believe that because of Bitcoin limited supply the price will rise is a myth on: April 05, 2018, 11:52:57 AM
Let's suppose that for some reason the supply of potato drastically decreases all around the world. Does that mean that people will pay 10.000 dollars for a potato or give up their cars just to get a potato? Of course not. This is because the utility of consuming a potato - the want-satisfying power of a potato is much smaller than that of a car or of 10.000 dollars worth of goods or services. In other words, from the mere fact that the supply of something is limited it does not follow that the price will soar.
Why did you pick example of an potato ? That is the utility which has an alternative, you know people can survive just fine without consuming a potato. It is not an essential part of livelihood.Take water of example, what if the entire Earth dries up and there is literally no water supply ? Would you buy a car or rather drink water ? Not saying bitcoin is that essential but in the word  it has it's own hardcore followers.

In comparison to a potato, Bitcoin is not even a physical tangible good that can be used for satisfying human wants or needs, and its only utility is that it functions as a medium of exchange. So, just because Bitcoin supply is limited, that does not mean its price will rise. People will NOT pay enormous amounts of money just to have a medium of exchange function, especially if this function is equally available whether the price of Bitcoin is 1 cent or 7.000 dollars, and if this function can be realized with various alternative cryptos or fiat money.
If they can predict that their money is going to get doubled after some time, they will never lose a chance to buy bitcoins even when the supply is low.You don't see the point here,it's not about bitcoin at all,it's about the real value it holds.

This purchased account  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=455780
Here he writes that he really bought an account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2318717.msg23977846#msg23977846
This man was accused several times of fraudulent ICO. I know that members of the bounty did not get their tokens. I do not trust this person.
Be careful with this user
Buying accounts isn't against the forum rules,it is just not encouraged to do so especially in such exact cases that is buying a legendary account to do ICO related stuff. Why would one need a high ranked account to work with ICO's anyway ?
Please update the thread with whatever relevant information you have about the account.

Since you mentioned you know he was accused several times, link to those threads as well.
1618  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yobit Withdrawal on: March 31, 2018, 01:39:02 PM
I don't even know why people still trust them. How hard it is to just move all your coins and use a better exchange ? Well, there is no such thing as  a "better exchange".

It's actually pretty simple. The following reasons are the most important;

# Exchanges more and more start to force people to verify themselves. Result; people jump into exchanges as Yobit.
# Exchanges more and more delist utter shitcoins. Result; people jump into exchanges as Yobit.
# Exchanges no longer list utter shitcoins as they used to do (also for legal reasons). Result; people jump into exchanges as Yobit.

In other words, exchanges as Yobit are going to become the kingpins amongst the shitcoin exchanges, and there is nothing that can stop this process. It's only going to become worse.
I feel your pain,my friend.Being someone who watches this shit through a filter which perceives things intelligently,I feel sad for all those shit coin traders who are going to be the scape-goats of these centralised exchanges.Don't be surprised if you see a bank which deals with crypto related stuff.
1619  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yobit Withdrawal on: March 31, 2018, 01:21:42 PM
i withdrawal GAME (GameCredits) total 650$. be 3 week and i still waiting. yobit did not send. but write completed transfer.. my balance zero. i cant contact yobit bcz dont reply tickets. what can i do Sad
Forget about them. They're on their path to become the next Mt.Goxx provided they will do it with a warning "We told you ,you should have not trusted us".So remove whatever you have there while you still can.

Yeah, they have the worst customer support. I even offered to work for free just to help out with tickets. Grin wait it out, eventually they'll get to your problem. Your best bet, after the problem is splved, is to switch to some other service provider. If they notice they're losing customers, they just might do something about the effectiveness of their support.
Support ? They're even worst as an exchange altogether.I don't even know why people still trust them. How hard it is to just move all your coins and use a better exchange ? Well, there is no such thing as  a "better exchange".
