1541  Other / Meta / Re: What about to ban this person? on: April 27, 2018, 09:51:58 PM
Lately, I started to report all abuse I find on the forum. Always using 'report button' and I am happy with the work of mods. Only in few days, I found more as 60 forum rules abusers with an accuracy of 95%. All kind of abuse, spam, scam, spam bots, alt accounts, account sales, merit trading, ref links, etc. Later on, I checked my reports and I see that have been checked and appropriate measures have been taken, so I am very happy how fast and professional mods are reacting to this reports. I found only 1 not deleted post but that was next day after report. Reported one more time and finally deleted after a day.
95% isn't  a very good number for a beginner if you ask me.Anyway,it's good to see despite of a negative feedback you're doing what's right for the forum.Keep it up! Smiley

I think everybody should use "report button" when spotted forum rules abuse and left the judgment to moderators. I feel disgusted when I see how people try to earn merits on reporting others. They open threads in which they reveal their discoveries. For me, it's like paying for being an informer (rat). I don't say OP opened this topic for merits. I don't think so. I just don't like it and wanted to share because indeed such topics are highly merited. If the main goal isn't to be merited then there is no need to start a topic only "report to moderator" and check after few days if he takes care of it. If not, report again.
Reporting doesn't help always. Not when you need an account to be negative tagged. There are some cases which can be handled using threads only especially if your intent is to seek DTs attention.
1542  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is it normal no Bounty Payment for almost 3 months? on: April 27, 2018, 09:48:33 PM
First thing you notice before blindly whoring for a bounty - Check when they're going to give out the tokens (Usually this period lasts from anywhere between 3 weeks to a month, haven't seen many ICO's delaying this any further)
So can you tell us if the following ICO had any rules when the tokens will be distributed ? If yes, stick by it.If the rule period is already over, you need to contact their bounty manager.
1543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ICO and websites on: April 27, 2018, 09:45:38 PM
I've only been trading for a few months and I am not very experienced. Can anyone suggest any helpful websites where I can find out which coins are scheduled to start trading on the exchanges? I know of coinschedule.com but I know there must be other places out there which can be helpful. Any other strategies and recommendation is very appreciated.
- Your best trading experience will come from the exchanges those are reputed and used as a trusted source in your country.Do a little more research about them before blindly depositing any coins.
- The worst part about the trading suggestions is,they're a cliche. There isn't a consensus that helps in very scenario for every trader.Strategies matter.Read a lot of books on trading in general I guess ?
- The golden rule which needs to be followed by all the traders --> Don't use exchange  as your primary  to store all your coins.
- Watching tutorials on YouTube will be a good way to start with.
1544  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain in business on: April 27, 2018, 09:41:36 PM
I've been running small logistics company in Europe, blockchain imo is just perfect for such purposes, when u have to trace all the long chains, sure it has great future not only in banking. It can help not.only business owners but also greatly improve customer service
This one is a really good example of the blockchain usage in the other sectors.
 - In this scenario, blockchain can be used to make the logistics transparent to the end parties thereby avoiding the credibility issues one has during the transfers.
 - The entire system can be visible to public with latest deliveries as a new transaction added to the block and that would contain the status of the deliverable.
1545  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Feedback on our new search engine for Bitcointalk on: April 27, 2018, 10:12:30 AM
Very Nice!
Also please change the title of the thread from Bitcointalk --> Bitcoin. You're referring to bitcoin and not bitcointalk. Major misunderstanding there!
I like the date feature : https://amuletplatform.com/data/search?q=gmaxwell&date=24hours [The query params only take the date in time or takes dates as well like '/' separated ?] Very cool feature to have!
Are you planning to launch your own ICO ? That is a bad idea and a turn down.
1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Group of Sports Bettors on: April 27, 2018, 10:03:18 AM
I want to put together a group of sports bettors looking for quality over quantity and together continue to get access to what I can confirm to date is the best information I have received in my 22 years of sports betting.
Genie,is that you ?
What information you could have possibly accessed apart from match fixes ?

You can count on 30-35 plays monthly, therefore if you are an action junkie this isn't for you!
This sounds pretty average for a normal gambler.

In regards to their win rate, they claim 68%. I have had access to their plays for a total of 6 weeks and can confirm 67%. Someone I met on a trip to Vegas in early March connected me to them, he claimed being a member for over 4 years, couldn't confirm the win rate exactly but he stated 65-70%.
So a bookie or an agency is your way to win ? 65% is not what you GET it's GIVEN to you.So the people placing actual bets should be getting a much bigger margin.

My goal is for the group to start on May 1, 2018, therefore we need to move quickly if we want to make this happen. They aren't cheap, actually they are very expensive, but if I can get enough interested sports bettors it can cost us only $100 each monthly which is dirt cheap for the quality of the plays I have received to date, therefore I will post this on as many forums as possible and hope I can find enough people interested.
$100 is cheap but will they allow subletting the bets like that ? I'm sure they would not want a loss in the business by distributing stuff for a group at the same rate.
1547  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] Crypto Exchange Reports - Litigation reports website on: April 27, 2018, 09:47:55 AM
So how does this work ? Do you actually help people get their accounts/money back or just list it down into your database without taking a legal action ? Project seems confusing to me.IIRC,people who lost money in Gox/BitFiNex/Coinsecure hack also had similar groups on telegram as a get together community but that didn't change a thing.

I wonder how getting a group of complaints together is going to solve anything.
1548  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Protecting Gold with Blockchain? on: April 26, 2018, 08:03:02 PM
Problem with this idea is,
 - It will open up a huge black market of gold dealers who'd just avoid the blokchain way.Such markets will buy/sell gold illegally and for a much higher price.
 - This may also impact the prices of gold as an asset.Imagine what if the huge chunk of gold is dealt with illegally.

Moreover certificates on the Gold are country wise unique aren't they ? On the blockchain, they all will follow the princile of distributed ledger ?
1549  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: NEW ICO PROMOTED BY MCAFEE IS TOTAL SCAM Doca epidemic on: April 26, 2018, 07:39:31 PM
 - Which company conducts a poll in a telegram group ?  Roll Eyes

 - I wouldn't see the company as a scam just because they got little to much influenced over Mcafee's comment or whatever. If you look at it this way, that earlier they wanted community's opinions but later changed their views considering the "intellectual" views of the accused.

 - Either way,I'll still consider this as a subjective  call.
1550  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Made a little fun game with cryptocurrencies - Crypto Catch on: April 26, 2018, 07:26:31 PM
GAME UPDATE

Added time bonus, for each scored point + 1 second.
Great to see that being added to the upcoming features ! Are you keeping track of this somewhere ? I'm actively trying to beat the game through JavaScript code through the console lol

Can you make it on making similar game with Python language? This game isn't bad after all but I would like to see in Python lang.
Why python ? The game doesn't need that kind of complexity when only a mouse event and some html/css is involved. This isn't a highly graphical game with complex logic which python needs to take care of.
1551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling is portrayed negatively almost everywhere? on: April 21, 2018, 07:05:33 AM
I belive it is just a social taboo about gambling and we need to rethink our stand towards gambling. It is just another legal business. What's your view?
It is a social taboo and it's already part of the belief in the society through religious teachings that gambling is evil, negative and bad. You know that beliefs are passed from generations to generations and its changing. Maybe in the future the thought about gambling will become positive when governments are promoting good benefits of gambling or sharing those people who got their fortune through it. We can't change this stand about gambling for now but time will come that it will.

I am not that much religious person but still gambling is really worst thing according to me. If you have invested there any gambling platform will it give return to end of the day. It is not all a true thing mate.
I see the gambling just wasting your fund on dustpin. Instead of that you guys devoting gambling can donate the poor people near to your home side mate. Even government and shit politicians getting bribe and allowing people loose the money if they are third world country too.
For identifying gambling as a useless and destructive act, a person does not need to be a believer of some religion. Anyone with common sense like you can tell that this is not a game worthy of time or money. Moreover, it is not like people follow everything that their religion says. Humans are weak at controlling their desires and we are mostly slave of them. That is the only reason why people gamble.
You're right. However psychology has completely a different way of looking at it.Desire is just a fancy name given to a passive addiction. When think of whatever you desire of,your brain secrets the dopamine and then the chemicals give you that happy feeling for seconds. In reality, the one's who have control over these emotions can tackle any addiction before they fall victim to it.Others get used to this chemical secretion and follow it until they let their life dwell on it.
1552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Blockchain Tech to Combat Fake News on: April 21, 2018, 06:54:53 AM
I read that the founder of Wikipedia is trying to figure out how to combat fake news with blockchain from Bitcoin.  Anyone with tech knowledge know how this could work?
Did he really said that ? I doubt it.According to my sources,I thought he said this : https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/05/ico-or-initial-coin-offerings-are-an-absolute-scam-wikipedias-jimmy-wales.html
Do you mind linking us to the source of your information ?

Combating fake news with blockchain is as complex as it sounds because it needs a high level of transparency which I doubt journalists are ready to offer.
1553  Economy / Lending / Re: Want to start lending btc and want advices from expert lenders on: April 21, 2018, 06:50:55 AM
I would appreciate to get further advices about lendering btc / HOW To successfully and securely lend Bitcoins. What is your experience, Thank you for sharing your experience or any recommendations.
- Know and understand what a valid collateral is,stickies are a nice place to begin with.
 - Don't fall for shit-coin forks which aren't accepted as deposits on exchanges. When taking altcoin as a collateral, make sure the coin is tradeble on the exchanges and have a stable value.
 - Use a trusted escrow to hold the collateral as you don't have any trust either.
 - Read all the good lending threads to know how it all works.
 - Don't take bitcointalk accounts as collateral.
1554  Economy / Services / Re: LoyceV's Bitcoin Fork claiming guide (and service) on: April 21, 2018, 06:46:25 AM
@allahabadi: have you tried depositing those Forkcoins?
I have been trying to get rid off my shit-forks for a long time now and  even though most of the coins are listed on a few exchanges but there is no way we can dump those coins as the exchanges aren't accepting deposits. [Bitcoin God isn't accepted either]

@LoyceV- I didn't bother reading the thread but I'll certainly need your help to get rid off my shit-coin forks.I don't have the patience to do all wallet install procedures myself so I'll ask you to do it for me of course for a commission.
1555  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [MeritScam] etherPIC sells sMerit via Autobuy on: April 21, 2018, 06:42:06 AM
lol Does he really thinks he can make money off shit lame scam attempt ? I think he just might considering the amount of idiots happen around the forum they will buy anything.I'm already feeling sorry for the next person who is going to purchase those merits because they will also be accompanied by a negative feedback from the DT.
1556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling is portrayed negatively almost everywhere? on: April 21, 2018, 06:24:38 AM
'Alcohol can kill right away that's true, but I wouldn't say the same about cigarettes. Cigarettes are supposedly killing you when you chronically smoke them during a long period of time. Same with gambling, if you constantly abuse it you may be deprived of all your money and even go in debt which can potentially kill you. Not only gambling, cigarettes and alcohol have a bad reputation, there are other things, overeating for example, which is also killing you if you abuse it. In short, gambling is not so bad if it is not abused, and btw it is portrayed positively in many books and movies.
Too bad this meaningful discussion has derailed to Alcohol and cigarettes.I don't know what's your point here but I know for sure ALCOHOL don't kill right away.Never heard of someone chucking 2 pegs of vodka and suffocating to death.Did you ?

because gambling is seen as a bad job and can harm ourselves of course. because the gambling is banned by religion and the country so wherever the gambling is certainly in a negative view in any country
Wow very creative answer.Go away Shit-Feast.
1557  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Gambling site - Partners needed on: April 21, 2018, 06:20:43 AM
He might still make it even if gambling sites are already saturated.  All is he needs to do is to make a research on the top gambling sites
By top do you mean crypto-games.net ? I agree with you then. Smiley

and know what makes them outstanding, then he could add other features which are lacking in those sites and include them in his site. Gamblers like to try new things; so if a new site comes up and is fair and offering something different from the others, gamblers will willingly patronize it.
There are sites which offer 100+ games, accept 200+ coins and the best possible user interface you can ever imagine.Guess what ? They don't even make it closer to top 30 bitcoin gambling sites! And these top sites include the one's which have poorly designed UI's but are trusted heavily by the community. There you go,I said it - Trust!
1558  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Gambling site - Partners needed on: April 21, 2018, 05:49:17 AM
It is perfect time for a btc gambling site to come in.
You have been living under a cave mate.I don't know if I'm not getting your point or you mean anything else but this is so not the time for any gambling sites to clog the market.Even if they did, chances are they will be among the low graded gambling places where people usually avoid to gamble.Unless of-course,you put a million in marketing or something.
1559  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Major indian exchange gets hacked, 438 bitcoins stolen COINSECURE on: April 21, 2018, 05:43:10 AM
Instead of advocating about how potent my business knowledge is why don't you find out how the company was funded and how much of personal money Mohit Kalra and Samuel poured into the startup. And they barely raised a few crores in each of their seed funding rounds - both public and private. FYI, 1 crore = $154000
Speaking of Mohit Karla,do you know what's his annual networth ? Trust me whatever loses he is paying "from his own pocket" is not even 0.5% from his total net-worth.

Now my information might be outdated and may be incorrect. But my comment about them funding this out of their own pocket is stemming from a simple fact, Benson's own admission of having poured in a few crores of his own savings into Bitcoin early on.
I'm simply saying that even if the company doesn't have enough funds in their coffer to refund every customer, the founders themselves can fund it all from their own pockets.
Founders can definitely fund the entire amount from their pockets considering how rich Mohit Karla is.My point is,pay what people actually lost and not just try to look nice by paying something.

Nope, not aware. Care to share the source of this information?
I'm not able to find the proper links as this was way back in 206.Here's the link : https://yourstory.com/2016/04/coinsecure-funding/

Hi,

I saw you responding to a users loan request. I’m looking for a loan of 0.031 up to 0.062. I can pay back in a week. Possibly sooner. I can provide whatever info is required along with my contact info. Phone, sign agreement, Etc.
The above user got their loan funded because they are a trusted member of the community and the loan amount was quite small compared to their previous trades on the forum. You don't have any trust here neither you're offering a collateral which can be held by the lenders. Please read the stickies and start a new thread instead of hijacking this one.
