1501  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is bountyhive honest ? hell NO on: May 17, 2018, 08:50:51 PM
So you think they're a scam because they didn't approve you of in any of their campaigns ? Well..that doesn't sound like a scam to me.But it would have been great if they could send a custom notification as in why you were rejected.

On the other side,I still think this could be their programming related bug if it's happening to a lot of people.Any official representatives of the service in the community ?
1502  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How much do you think it costs to build a blockchain? on: May 17, 2018, 08:38:19 PM
Free to do yourself. As cheap as $10 to get someone to do it for you.
Isn't that sounds a bit vague ?  It all depends on what OP implies as "Build a Blockchain".If he means he has to set every algorithm up from scratch, certainly it isn't easy or a $10 job.I understand if forking from a chain is what you meant but still creating it from scratch is no child's play.

Building a blockchain is free - only pay for what resources you use.

https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/get-started-with-blockchain-using-the-new-aws-blockchain-templates/
That's new! Does AWS really gives anything for free ? Nope. Also if it's controlled on the S-3 or their Cloud servers, pretty sure the app will centralised as hell.
1503  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What are the obstacles that lead to the failure of the project? on: May 17, 2018, 08:33:04 PM
For me failures are more on the psychological thingy. You may have the tools, the people behind you the budget. But if you yourself is not positive about the success of your project and has doubts sooner the project will not take off causing it to fail.
That's wrong.Take an example of all the bigger products that failed miserably. The had all the tools, the had the required manpower and they surely had the vision! So what went wrong ? The fact is, you can never predict the market or how people will react to your idea. You can only experiment and learn from it.Growing is the process that should never stop. You will rarely come across founders who launched their first business and it was a big hit instantly.

I come from a project/programme management background, not for engineering, for international organisations, but a lot of our results based management concepts were drawn from early military planning and now adopted by corporations even (terms like KPIs are all derived from RBM) and I've to say that one thing all these crypto projects fail horribly in is proper planning.
If the idea gets executed and the final project is launched, there is a fair chance it has failed already.
1504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / HTC Plans to Ship a Blockchain Phone This Year on: May 17, 2018, 08:27:12 PM
* Mods, feel free to move the thread to Alt-Coin discussion if it doesn't really fit here.

I'm sure all of you tech savvy folks would have already came across this news as it has flashing all over the product & crypto logs but for the late comers to the party, the title explains everything! And nope the news as for now doesn't reveal any ICO or some shit-coin associated with it.The central idea revolves around the decentralised app's concept which bitcoin will play a major role in.

1505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better for you shortest or longest bounty campaign period? on: May 12, 2018, 02:03:38 PM
its kind sad when you work for a long time and you get nothing
Who asked you to work for it ? By participating in any of the bounty programs you're risking yourself to a n number of constraints. You literally are putting efforts into something that don't have any value to it at the time of your participation. There is no guarantee if it ever will. What's the definition of the work anyway ? Clicking the share buttons on twitter and facebook don't account as 'work' in my definition.
1506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fair online casino? on: May 12, 2018, 01:57:37 PM
Just look for some smart-contract based casinos, most of these have had their smart-contract independently audited, and you can check these audits online so you know that your money is safe. Most of the time you don't even need to make an account to engage with the smart-contract so they're more effective than normal casinos too.
Most of the onchain casinos don't really on smart-contracts as well ? Also what's wrong with the traditional server/seed mechanism of provable fair ? I don't see what super good solution smart contracts provide other than overly complicating things.Tell me one casino based on the smart contracts which has sort of reputation on bitcointalk ?

Besides, gambling websites are all about business and honesty can’t bring profit in business world.
Not all. There are hardly a few names along with crypto-games.net which are customer centred legit businesses.
1507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WizeBit The Smart Home Device That Protects Your Data on: May 12, 2018, 01:52:58 PM
I just want to ask a simple question. What makes your project valuable compared to Mycroft? Becuase your project has a little thing called blockchain eh?
Why the fuck are you here if you thing blockchain is the "little thing" ? It is probably buying your groceries with your signature amount. You think that doesn't count ? To answer your question technically, Mycroft lacks 100 things which are taken care by the following product. In terms of tech, WizeBit is also way advanced than just an usual voice assistant system.
1508  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KUcoin forcing KYC for every users on: May 12, 2018, 01:50:04 PM
It's the high time where not only KUCoin but most of the other exchanges will also adopt the KYC verification system. Government is actively tracking down exchanges and scam ICO's, in order to comply with the regulations and run a business, they have to do it or risk their licenses. Not exactly a good news for the crypto eco-system.

Recently, the most unexpected exchange localbitcoins forced users to verify their identities as well.
1509  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: warning, phishing sites in google search on: May 12, 2018, 01:31:08 PM
Most of the victims to these types of phishing scams are newbies who do not have previous experience with dealing with an online, hosted wallet, and don't know which hosted wallet is even legitimate, let alone which one is a phishing site of the legitimate wallet.
It's not even just limited to wallets,it's basically any online service with a fake domain advertised on google.Using an anti-virus which also provides web security solutions is an idea way to go.

Though we can expect this issue to subside after Google does ban crypto ads in the next month or so, which is something that is positive that came out of that ban.
It will ban ICO/Crypto investment banks and not wallets to be specific. They are against the ICO operations and not stable wallet services like blockchain.info etc.

1511  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Multy - bitcoin open source mobile wallet on: May 12, 2018, 01:20:11 PM
That's an interesting application but doesn't open-sourcing the back-end of your wallet might expose it to the security loopholes if any ? Can you make a proper readme.md documentation for the project.Right now it is all scattered across different repos and hard to connect everything. Are PR's welcomed ? Couldn't find the contributing.md.
1512  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New social network platform for cryptocurrency on: May 12, 2018, 01:12:00 PM
@Patatas what do you mean "decentralization" you mean "DAPP" if you mean "decentralization application" this mostly like facebook, twitter APPs where you can integrate log in or other functions and data graph in other application by example...,  But if you mean "DDATA "decentralization data", LOLLLLLL so much funny no such thing like that..!!???,
I don't exactly mean DAPP or a shit coin.I mean simply a website that is not centralised yet authentic. To simplify it further, imagine facebook but without any rules and regulations where anonymity is well encouraged and respected.

but if you mean "IPFS" this completely different this per to per protocol
I know what IPFS is and I don't mean that.
1513  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥HiRoll: 3D Ethereum Casino★No Accounts★No Min. Deposit★Instant Withdrawals🔥 on: May 12, 2018, 12:55:34 PM
Website is very slow. It's an instant piss off for somebody opening the website for the first time. Sad
Literally nothing worked and crashed my browser without loading the game. You know those fancy 3d graphics have no relevance over a simple user interface which loads in a few seconds. If you can't optimise your website to open within a few seconds,I doubt people will have patience to play there.
1514  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Asian Gaming sites that are reliable in paying out ? on: May 12, 2018, 12:51:04 PM
What do you mean with Asian gaming sites?

He means any gaming website which is operated from anywhere in asia which means supports asian currency or bitcoin at least.
Is there an Asian licensing authority?

If not, how can a casino officially operate in Asia?
There isn't a single licensing authority for the entire Asia.Gambling rules vary as per different Asian countries. There are 3rd world countries in Asia wherein you can just bribe a few officers and run physical casinos while in India only government is allowed to run the lotteries.
1515  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of Campaign Managers Latest Post(Sig & Twitter Campaign) for Bounty Hunter on: May 12, 2018, 12:45:37 PM
Just learnt about what happened with the Bitbliss scam through this thread. Had no idea that a member of ALU (which I respect a lot on this forum) had been involved... but I think the right thing(s) have happened in the wake of such events and should be a learning event for all involved. I've only been here for a couple of years almost and am acutely aware that it's so difficult to get - and then maintain - reputations. There's a saying in journalism that you're only as good (or as bad) as your last story, and perhaps the same can be said for managers here.
- Lauda had nothing to do with the scam.So it's not really ALU but just Atriz. The only learning that evolves from this is, don't take green trust as the only basis to take an action.

DT is a solid way to start looking for reputations, but as has been displayed, not perfect. I'd always still give a chance to guys like the ex-ALU manager in future... everyone here is thankfully human and as such, prone to mistakes.
Really ? I have nothing against him but he always gets himself involved in stuff like this.Intentionally/Unintentionally.Alia's case is another example of the same.I hope you know how that turned out.

Good independent initiative for this thread. All part of a wider check and balance system.
While I respect the efforts taken, there are other factors involved while choosing  a good campaign manager and not just pick anyone from the sad list.
1516  Economy / Gambling / Re: [FOR SALE] successful crypto gambling company/site on: May 11, 2018, 08:07:21 PM
Because if they do not put the name of the site they are selling then there is something they do not want to disclose publicly which could hinder the sale.
Not necessarily. At times they wouldn't want to discuss it in public because there would a lot of players who are just there because of the existing team/management.If they know the website is being sold, they would not want to continue anymore as the trust established over the past few months wouldn't hold any weight.
Fear of new management is a common issue in big organisations as well.
1517  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.0085 BTC Loan Request | Repayment 0.01 in 1 month on: May 11, 2018, 08:02:48 PM
I don't really want to comment on your loan stuff but it seems you would be really going through a hard time if you actually need money for the groceries. 0.0085 is roughly 70 USD and that can buy maximum of groceries for one week ? Of-course depending on the country you come from may vary but still it doesn't seem like an amount that could by groceries for a long time. What would you do in that case ? You will keep struggling with it.Find a permanent fix for the problem.
1518  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BITCOIN CROWN on: May 11, 2018, 07:58:39 PM
What is BASF stuff and other companies ? Do you mean to say the team members listed out on the accused website is as same as the one's belonging to the other projects ? In that case, mind linking their links here ?

Yikes! I'm not able to open their team-page anymore : http://www.bitcoincrowncoin.com/index.html#team
1519  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Transferwise - Worldwide Bank Accounts on: May 11, 2018, 07:55:07 PM
Is it possible to open a business Transferwise account without having your own company bank account?

Also, would I run into any legal trouble, by using a Hong Kong company to sell items bought from Chinese companies, in the EU and receiving money on the Transferwise EU IBANs?
Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't it look shady that you don't want to open a bank account yet like to reap it's benefits ? What's wrong with opening a bank account under your company's registration ? Too many red flags with the later part. It's not illegal, it's just raises suspicions as it makes people think "Why would you do that" ?
1520  Economy / Gambling / Re: [FOR SALE] successful crypto gambling company/site on: May 11, 2018, 07:48:36 PM
I'm looking for buyers that are interested in owning their own crypto gambling site. The site has been up for just under 9 months and has profited over 800 ETH.
Mind explaining why are you selling it if it's generating roughly 100 ETH a month ? I mean it's hard for a website to just come up and start blowing up when they have a huge competition in the niche.7 btc a month is not a bad deal at all!

Interested buyers will need a decent level of technical knowledge around nodejs and security and/or know someone that does.
Will the website sell be publicly announced to your existing customers ? (after the deal of-course)
