1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers always make use of advantages on: May 24, 2020, 04:26:18 PM
Last week the United kingdom's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued a warning that the coronavirus out real might be providing criminals with the opportunity to swindle investors out of their crypto assets, you've been warned

Scammers are sophisticated, opportunistic and will surely try many things.

Do not trust any one or organization asking for donations to combat the outbreak, it's not real

Yes it's true, any opportunity they find in the world not necessarily in crypto, they will leverage on it immediately. Now in the crypto space, there are many scammers using this corona virus to create scam projects through which they can carry out their scams; the funny thing is, it is getting to much, more and more of this corona virus coins are being released and while some people are asking questions for guidance others are already investing. Few weeks ago I heard that one of this corona virus projects has exited scam and this is likely the fate of others. So therefore, let everyone be mindful and careful of all these projects while watching out for their other tactics such as asking for donations etc.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about coronacoin COVID? on: May 24, 2020, 04:15:26 PM
Hi guys, i've heard about this coin since march but i dont know if invest on it. I think it may be a nice chance because covid is very talked about and if well managed it could go up, but im new to crypto investment and im a bit scared of losing money. What do you think? Thanks

What I think about coronacoin? It is an outright scam and should be avoided. Such projects have nothing to offer to anyone other than making use of the opportunity that people are suffering, afraid etc to scam; because when some people needs Solution to issues they are likely to believe anything they are told or shown. So forget about this one and go for developed altcoins, you can start with ETH or top 20 on coinmarketcap.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $GHOST by McAfee & allegations from Pivx & Chimera devs on: May 23, 2020, 08:02:32 AM
Copying of other project's whitepaper is now looking like a normal thing which is totally wrong and it shows that most projects nowadays have nothing to offer than to pump and dump the token. Just imagining this, a project that copies whitepaper how will it develop when it's clear the team have no idea on how the project works. This act by McAfee is wrong and it totally changes the view people have towards him. Nevertheless, I won't still be surprised when it list and pumps then dump terribly as shitcoins do.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about investing in Eos on: May 22, 2020, 02:10:50 PM
hello, i was wondering if Eos can be a good investment for the future ? what are your thoughts ?

In my own opinion, EOS is good but however investing in it depends on what you are expecting, I would say you start by checking the timeline of the team to know their potential improvements and so on this will give you clue on what to expect. If am to suggest, I will prefer BTC, ETH, BNB or even XLM because they are more better and EOS.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Getting Listed On Exchanges on: May 22, 2020, 02:07:22 PM
How does it work when you get your token listed on an exchange. Does the exchange require you give them a large amount of your tokens so they have liquidity? Who gets the money when they're selling them?

I think in this case you will need to strike a deal with the exchange and state what you have in mind while they state theirs then you can choose if it's continue or not. Just know some exchanges may need some deposit of the token or their native coin or even BTC. It depends on what you agreed on.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN to the MOON on: May 21, 2020, 07:48:49 PM
These opportunities for altcoin by addon and include part of everything, that very good. And can make the new flagship on blockchain technology.

I don't really understand, are you referring to an altcoin named addon or what? Nevertheless stating my opinion based on the title, I think altcoin season is still far because with this pandemic people need or are going for Bitcoin since it offers a better chance of success and value. However, holding other coins like ETH will also set the investor or holder at an advantage of experiencing more assured returns.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I wrong or right? on: May 20, 2020, 10:00:07 AM
If altcoins aren't dependants on Bitcoin price or value one altcoin would have over throne Bitcoin, if it was a different story that altcoins don't rely on Bitcoin bullrun I believe Bitcoin won't be the 1st today, am I wrong or right?

You are quite right and from the look of things it will remain like that till anytime anyone can't imagine. The reason for this is, Bitcoin is totally decentralized unlike most which claims to, and also Bitcoin overtime has grown to be valuable hence having a huge community backup. Also, most people today trust Bitcoin more than other coins and so far this remains the case, hardly will any altcoin overtake Bitcoin. In the same way, in the case of altcoins, most can't even be trusted nor work with their roadmap to develop a platform valuable. Therefore, you are right but things will not change, Bitcoin will always remain on top.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The SECRET MINDSET to expend the entire CRYPTO WORLD on: May 20, 2020, 09:24:04 AM
In my own opinion I can say Bitcoin can be seen as an alternative monetary value because it can still be used in place of fiat such as in most platforms which makes it possible for good and services to be purchased with Bitcoin, even some online gaming and betting platforms also accepts Bitcoin. In the same way, Bitcoin can also be seen as an investment vehicle in which we have all seen, where one uses it to buy or invest in other potential coins. Lastly as for crypto exchanges they have their policy but I think since they are in the business of cryptocurrencies, they are likely to be paid in crypto as well.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real Anonymous Coins Are Free from Restrictions on: May 19, 2020, 08:22:51 AM
I have heard a lot about VDS but haven't had the time to study more about it, and from reviews so far it looks like a good one. About anonymous coins, so far the crypto space is still existing there will always be anonymous coins because privacy matters a lot to many people. Also, because of the nature of privacy coins that's why most exchanges are delisting them, maybe because of regulation, however even with the delisting, there are still new exchanges listing them as well (a good example is Monero); thus confirming the fact that privacy coins have come to stay.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Listing on Finexbox on: May 19, 2020, 08:14:43 AM
This is my first time of hearing about such exchange and probably looks news. Also, from my own point of view, if there is any red flag about any exchange, just as you have found then I see it wise looking towards other projects on other exchanges, there will always be new projects to invest in. This is because, it is better to hold on to your funds than risking it on a new exchange with red flags which might not even meet your expectations.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this what's preventing wide-spread adoption? on: May 18, 2020, 08:19:34 AM
I will start by saying that the government likes controlling things and private informations is among thus they hardly will be part of anything they can't control. So indirectly, it might look like they are restricting the growth and wide-spread adoption of crypto but it's a matter of time for more people to start assuming control over their private details, understanding and using crypto more, then leading to the required adoption. Also, what to understand is, a good number of people in the crypto space are not afraid but instead happy that they can move funds in an anonymous way , at a lower charges, faster and efficient way than the current financial systems and that is enough to keep the ball of crypto adoption rolling.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins for 2020 on: May 18, 2020, 08:06:14 AM
The first best coin to rock this year and which is better all the time is Bitcoin, thus that's the best coin i can rock this year without fears. Also I won't say Bitcoin is slowly growing up because it is still highly valued and no coin has even gotten close to it. Another I can look at is Ethereum because it has shown and proven till date to be stronger than most altcoins; having in mind its upgrade is coming soon. Binance coin, Xlm and ADA also made my list but not in a larger portion when compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About adshares and ads coin on: May 17, 2020, 01:24:00 PM
I am working with adshares as a publisher and i need to know where can i exchange my ads coins ?? Huh

Searching on coinmarketcap, I found out only one exchange and that is Graviex exchange; the coin already has three trading pairs and the current price is $0.030540. Therefore, start by visiting coinmarketcap to get the appropriate link to the exchange, in addition, I do not know much about the exchange so make sure to take precautionary measures to ensure the safety of your funds. Lastly, just in case of another situation, always visit coinmarketcap to check any coin or token you wish to trade.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I restart a dead altcoin and continue the development?? on: May 17, 2020, 01:06:43 PM
Sincerely, I will tell you not to bother trying that, it is not worth your money, attention and effort. The reason is, there was a reason why the project failed and will likely fail again, the project might have been a scam project, a replica or the team didn't do anything good other than to enrich themselves. So the best way is building yours from the scratch while ensuring it survives against all odds.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good or bad plan? on: May 16, 2020, 07:22:23 AM
Are you buying for long term or what? That's the question you need to answer within yourself, if you are buying for long term then I don't think there is any problem buying Bitcoin anytime but if you are buying for short term then you need to study the market and so on to know how feasible it will be. Either way, Bitcoin can be bought anytime and there won't be any issue even if the price dumps as it will still rise which have been seen for a long while now but same can't be said for other coins.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is bitcoin black? on: May 15, 2020, 08:08:28 PM
Bitcoin black? Sounds funny and will likely be from a team who just wants to seek attention when it's obvious they are just trash. There have been many projects like this but yet they all have the same agenda which is to take money from or rather scam uninformed people. Left for me, I won't bother knowing more about it instead moving that energy and possible funds into the main Bitcoin because there is no coin like Bitcoin neither is there any better than it.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO vs ICO my opinion, tell me yours on: May 14, 2020, 08:07:40 AM
First there isn't anything like hope again for ICOs, they are dead and forgotten and any project going that path will only end up wasting their time because people have had enough of their scams and not ready to give them that power again. Also, in the case of IEO, it is true we are giving exchanges more power and opportunities but what can be done when it looks like the best way, nowadays, someone can invest in an IEO on a good exchange and then decide whether to hold or not; this is entirely different from ICO. I think IEO will stay for a while until there is a more better method.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your help guys! on: May 14, 2020, 07:52:31 AM
There are many scam projects nowadays, while in some cases a mere look at it will expose the truth and in some you need to carryout an indepth research to finding out the truth. Also, when most people call a project scam with enough proofs and it tends to be true, then that project should be avoided, there will also be better ones. Looking at the website, a very key or Important Informations was missing, that is, about the team and how to know more about them, that is to say, they are probably hiding their identity. In my own opinion, I would suggest your sister go for other promising coins so as to avoid bad stories that touches the heart.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA or XLM on: May 13, 2020, 07:10:58 AM
Yes it is true that cryptocurrencies are volatile and unpredictable but yet over time there have been some altcoins which tend to show that they have something to offer to all and sundry, and most of these altcoins are found in top 20 or maybe top 50 in coinmarketcap and one of such altcoins are XLM and ADA. These altcoins are good in their own ways and makes sense holding them as well, however, as you desire one then I would say go for ADA; the reason is, the team of this project have been working hard to make sure they stick to their goals and objectives, this I see as something very important as there is potential for growth.
