Bitcoin market <<< Silver market
2542  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking for lenders on: December 17, 2011, 02:25:09 PM
After I log in all I see at the top of the page is the ammount i sent to the address, 250BTC, which is correct, altho it doesn't appear in the deposits area, is that right?

Also, please, a change password page. You sent the password on an unsecure channel and I would like to change it.

I saw my amount + my interest... is your interest not showing?
2543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the manipulator buying btc? on: December 17, 2011, 05:02:39 AM
wow... see, people, there is definitely a single Manipulator (or a group of people under one leader, acting together)

wow... see, people, there is definitely a group of Manipulated (or a larger group of people under one leader, responding together)

...
Do you deny that there is a person with deep pockets playing the market?
Do you deny that his moves cause volatility?
Do you deny that the volatility his moves cause is not limited to only his initial sell/buy?
Do you deny that, potentially, this could make money for the Manipulator?

for starters, you don't want a typo here: http://bitcashretail.com/register.php
"minium 9 characters"

nice build up, better pull my shorts

$4 by Christmas, anyone?

This is starting to look huge.... I don't think I've ever seen 120k bitcoins on the bid side on mtgoxlive!  The ask side looks flat compared to that giant wave.

edit: Comparison of the depths:
20k BTC to 3.38, 20k BTC to 3.10
20k more to 3.75, 20k more to 3.00
Didn't we have a huge bid wall sitting there right before the last "crash" to $2?

No... we had a small bid wall, I think it was only 10k BTC.
We DEFINITELY didn't have this massive depth at any point in Bitcoin's history, I think.  120k BTC visible on mtgoxlive is a record, at least for me.
2547  Economy / Speculation / Re: RALLY! on: December 17, 2011, 03:46:17 AM

HERE WE GO FOLKS!

BEARS PISS OFF THIS THREAD!

Some people are easily excitable.  $3.20 and it's a rally?

Hopefully bitcoin does go up like a space shuttle.  Unless it's the Challenger.

It suddenly went to $3.38 the day he posted it, so it's very understandable...
2548  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS 2x 5830 $70 each or $130 for both on: December 17, 2011, 02:58:27 AM
I need to sell these two cards. They are in excellent condition. Have been under light usage since august only for gaming. Includes USPS Priority shipping.
PM to pay. I accept, Liberty Reserve, BTC

Are they good overclockers?
2549  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why I am glad I have clowned around on this forum... on: December 17, 2011, 02:38:32 AM
Then he posted this and I made the ban permanent and also banned his alts (all 21 of them):

21 alts?!  I was giving him shit because I thought he had four or five.

Seriously...I think the Atlas Identifier only has like, six of them pegged now?

Yeah, I've been trying to figure out the other 15.  wtf man, I guess he really can disguise himself?! Tongue
Or maybe the other 15 are just 0-post nobodies.

I am about 95% certain sabiwabi is atlas: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=51322.0

Yeah I don't think so either.... this guy has bad grammar, unlike Atlas, who had better grammar, albeit a terrible vocabulary.

2553  Economy / Speculation / Re: 3 is the magic number, and the magic number is 3 on: December 16, 2011, 09:23:04 PM
Did you notice that the 30 day moving average just passed the inflection point, and is pointing up now?

Saw that Smiley  I pointed it out in the Nagle's Favorite Chart thread, because the chart you posted is indeed his favorite chart.  Or was... the leader of the bears seems to have disappeared Wink

Minor nitpick: inflection point means the second derivative, not the first, has changed signs.
2554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cash deposit at US bank? on: December 16, 2011, 09:19:06 PM
cryptoxchange? Sad

Blargh, exchanges are getting worse these days.
2555  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Only significant property owners should be allowed to vote. on: December 16, 2011, 09:16:40 PM
In your attempts to reject God, you have rejected Bastiat and all of your Western freedoms to boot.

:-)

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because you have rejected knowledge,
I will also reject you,
that you shall be no priest to me:
seeing you have forgotten the law of your God,
I will also forget your children."
Hosea 4:6

"My time is destroyed by your stupid posts:
because you have rejected knowledge,
I am ignoring you,
that you shall be no priest to me:
seeing you have forgotten the laws of logic,
I will also forget your children."

Me 4:15 Wink
2556  Economy / Speculation / Re: 3 is the magic number, and the magic number is 3 on: December 16, 2011, 09:04:39 PM
Wow, the magic number seems to be 3.2 now!  It's been here for days...

Not for long... going up a bit soon.. Wink

$4 by Christmas, we can do it!
2557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nagle's Favorite Chart on: December 16, 2011, 08:43:07 PM

Price is going to go DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN soon.
or it's a real reversal?

edit: REAL REVERSAL GUYS BUY BUY BUY

IF YOU BUY THIS SHIT YOU WILL BECOME A MILLIONAIRE AND EVERYTHING WILL BE NICE AND RAINBOWS WILL POP UP AND YOU WILL BUY A MANSION AND A JET WITH THE PROFITS

Wonder what Nagle's thinking, now that his nice bearish brown line is going up  Roll Eyes

Replaces Atlas' many usernames with "I Am Atlas."

Have fun.  Smiley

Sorry if I missed a few things; this should cover your daily browsing though.

You can shrink your conditionals by putting all aliases in an array, and then using indexOf.
Code:
var aliases = ['john', 'bill', 'steve'];
undefined
aliases.indexOf('bill');
1
aliases.indexOf('bill')>=0;
true
aliases.indexOf('j')>=0;
false
aliases.indexOf('john')>=0;
true
indexOf returns -1 when string is not found.

Then this
Code:

str = str.replace(" Atlas", " Unremorsefully Atlas");
str = str.replace(" I.Goldstein", " Unremorsefully Atlas");
str = str.replace(" Ragnar", " Unremorsefully Atlas");
str = str.replace(" Immanuel Go", " Unremorsefully Atlas");
str = str.replace(" ALPHA.", " Unremorsefully Atlas");
str = str.replace(" Harvey", " Unremorsefully Atlas");
str = str.replace(" Anonymous...", " Unremorsefully Atlas");

can be replaced with
Code:
for(var i in aliases){
   var name = ar[i];
   str = str.replace(name, " Unremorsefully Atlas");
}

Gotta keep it DRY.

Good advice.  Just learned JS recently and haven't bothered to learn the  built-in methods yet, and I should get off my ass because that looks much better Smiley
2560  Economy / Lending / Re: (closed)JackRabiit(Loan) on: December 16, 2011, 07:38:49 PM
Hey mr rabbit I have some questions
1. Why do you always need loans?!  There's one every few weeks and I can't help but wonder.
2. What's up with your username Tongue
