Thanks for the answers. The simple answer is that that is an extremely easy password that any dictionary cracking system would have found quickly. You may be interested in LastPass to generate secure passwords that are per-site and store them for you. However, LastPass is only as strong as your master password, unless you use it with a yubikey.

FFS bro, you just registered TODAY lol. Cookie cutter scam.
lol my bad.. yesterday haha
Maybe, maybe not. Pumped up dropboxes have been offered by a few users for a while, such as moredropbox and dropboxexpander. The only problem I have with such a service is that they use fake referrals to get the space from Dropbox, but it doesn't mean that they aren't delivering what they are selling. Use escrow if you are worried and don't care about how they were created.

...wow. Goddamn carders leaching off of the Bitcoin community. Good thing we have trusted escrow providers.
Well the bad news is escrow doesn't provide any protection from carders. If lolwut received the item and asked me to clear the escrow then I would have. It would be 30-180 days later before either the company requests a demand notice for $2700 or the Police show up at his doorstep. If anything this shows the limitation of escrow and the long reach of reversible transactions. You're my hero Yeah it takes a few things; An escrow provider to make the scammer start the process, and a smart buyer that knows what a red flag looks like.

Someone doesn't like The Bitcoin Bus. It is heavily under attack.
Someone is DDoSing your website? There seems to be a bunch of children that live here and have fun doing useless things like that to Bitcoin-related websites and services. Hopefully your security is up to snuff.

Whatever happened to that dude who came along with an alternative distributed DNS scheme, the guy who posted a link to his white paper in the forum here. Did he merge efforts with yours or strike out alone?
That would be forum username "pent", but he seems to have been caught up in a stupid ponzi scheme, and I for that reason am not taking him seriously anymore.

You damn kids don't know just how good you have it... in my day, Buds were cans of shitty beer, and Mexican was always brown, seedy and took three to four fingers just to make one Black Sabbath show interesting. Exotic was Michoacán or Oaxacan, and once or twice a year you might see a Thai stick.
Of course with global warming the storms have gotten a lot stronger, so our friends to the South of the Rio Grande should probably seek higher ground, and disconnect all electrical appliances.
Damn, you're ancient. But you have to admit it must be great shit, for look at LG's writing style. It's reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix's superb guitar playing while under the influence of same(?). Jimi was on coke, lots of coke.

Also, aren't UK power costs a killer for this to happen longterm?
This service is not intended for GPU bitcoin mining. Hence while a power is a significant component of the price it is not that important. It could be suitable for ASIC and FPGA mining, however. What important is that customers know exactly who has access to the hardware and that it would require a platoon of marines to storm the DC. Are you going to install rotating antiaircraft turret cannons?

I would like answers to my questions about network security. It seems that the recent claims of compromise are made by those that don't want to discuss whether their network is secure.
I want to know: Have you used or are you using Tor? Have you used or are you using a VPN? Are you on a corporate network? (And further to the above, has your company admin installed a company trusted root certificate on your box) Have you ever clicked a link to mtgox in an email?
Also, since your password is unique for all sites, I'm sure you will have no problem sharing it with us for analysis since we can assume it has been compromised.
There's no point posting here asking for help if we can't have the information to help you.

Bitcoin / Pools / Re: At what point is Solo Mining good? How much Ghash do you need?

when your 95% average is bellow 24h then you can mine solo, with current difficulty that makes 237Ghash/s, good luck! That's not a "requirement" or anything, it's just if you hate risk and variance. If your electricity bill is less than say $350, a block a month would break even.
