2181  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alienware for bitcoin mining on: April 29, 2016, 09:32:12 PM
I heard Alienware laptops are rich in graphics card features. Does anyone already doing any mining with these kind of laptops. I work in marketing field and I need mining equipment with mobility. Any suggestions from your experience would be highly useful for me.

You'll never get anything out of using a GPU. It's just not worth it anymore. Back in 2012 you would've been doing great but it's too late. Buying an antminer S7 at this point would most likely be really inefficient (depending on how much your electricity costs. If it's over 8 cents kWh then don't bother). Check out the mining thread here. It's just not worth mining at all anymore.
2182  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-04-29] Quartz: Russia is considering legislation that would send bitcoin.. on: April 29, 2016, 09:16:40 PM
We already heard...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1453680.0;topicseen

7 years is probably the 'major crimes' punishment. Someone buying a laptop using bitcoin wouldn't get this I'm sure (although who knows when jail time begins).
2183  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many btc do you have? on: April 29, 2016, 06:57:01 PM
What's average? I'd say less than 0.1 just from reading the forum here. People that are just starting out seem to find it very difficult to accumulate BTC. I don't have much yet. I'm hoping to HODL anything I do get.
2184  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Is BTC-Traders a scam? on: April 29, 2016, 06:42:20 PM
Use your judgement (as it seems you already have). 5% daily compounding will never be sustainable. It doesn't matter what business they're claiming they're in. If there's no info on what they invest in then it's even more obvious  that it's just a ponzi.
2185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could consume as much electricity as Denmark by 2020 on: April 29, 2016, 04:51:32 PM
Who cares? It's just an arbitrary comparison. Who's to say Mcdonald's doesn't consume more electricity worldwide than they use in Denmark? That's what makes bitcoin worth something. No miner is going to sell at a loss, or if they do they'll stop mining!!
2186  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: April 29, 2016, 04:45:17 PM
Maybe I wouldn't cash out my Bitcoins if they reached a really high amount (say $10,000) but I would definitely be more inclined to use them. If 0.01btc that I bought for $4 can buy me something worth $100 I'm going to spend some small amounts to get a few things I need/want. The rest will stay invested / saved.
2187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guyz!!! How about this bitcoin idea? on: April 29, 2016, 04:39:11 PM
Why do you need to exchange Bitcoins though? I'm trying to understand that. Is it a faucet or each user is supposed to give another user Bitcoins for some reason?

I don't get it.
2188  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitstarz Removes 3.45 Btc Balance According to Breaking Bonus Terms on: April 29, 2016, 04:31:35 PM
Wow that's sketchy as hell. I understand their part of it (betting over 2mBTC) but to remove the entire balance makes no sense at all. I'm eagerly awaiting to hear what happens here.
2189  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [b]+++++++++++++ REPORT 7BitCasino SCAM++++++++++++++++++ [ on: April 29, 2016, 04:25:55 PM
Ouch, that's sketchy. Thanks for the warning. How much did you initially deposit to 7Bitcasino? Is it mostly winnings or your initial deposit? Hopefully this all gets resolved for you.
2190  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much Bitcoin to be ready for the "halving" ? on: April 29, 2016, 04:22:04 PM
I'm hoping to have at least half a bitcoin, but I'm just starting out so of course my goal is pretty mediocre. Assuming you have the funds to risk I would expect people to buy at least 1 or 2BTC.

If you're a high-risk investor you could invest maybe 50% o your portfolio in btc, if you're low risk (or don't have much to risk) 5% might make more sense.

2192  Economy / Services / Re: Feedback for my website (WARNING: ADULT CONTENT) on: April 29, 2016, 03:16:06 PM
Well, I just giving my viewpoint, imo it's not comfort for me to watch porn in website that has light background color, e.g. white, yellow, or sky blue. I guess thats why few popular adult sites like pornhub, youporn, even xotika using dark background for their website. The dark background also be used by several gambling sites, you could take example from few sites on gambling board. About the other things at there, there is no problem, seems good. You dont need to pay my feedback, good luck for your site Wink

Lol ya, u don't want a bright screen when it's 2am and you're whackin' it to some tig ol' bitties. Also, 2500 Satoshis? Wow you pulled out all the stops. That's almost a cent.

P.S. Your miner fees will be about the same lol. Don't bother paying me for this very helpful tip!
2193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is shutting down forums on: April 28, 2016, 05:27:13 PM
Bail? Rofl. The pump is over and it's time to dump. Leave it and go to the next shitcoin. People got way too invested in something that came out of the woodworks.
2194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitClub's fake offer to return fee blunder on: April 28, 2016, 05:21:39 PM
If someone sent from that address and now doesn't have access to it then clearly they screwed up and can't get it back. Also it's not very safe to just send the transaction back to the same address because what if they don't see it, or they just swept an address because it was compromised?

I'd say they're doing the right thing here. I don't understand where this hostility is coming from.
2195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Law Would Send Bitcoin Users to Jail as Cybercriminals on: April 28, 2016, 05:17:21 PM
Holy crap. 7 years in jail for using Bitcoins. What a joke. I'm glad I don't live there hahaha! They sure don't like freedom in Russia!
2196  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think any casino will offer zero/negative house edge? on: April 28, 2016, 04:50:56 PM
Clearly not. If they did it would only be because they're making money in some other way. It would never be advisable though. Why make less money than you could potentially?
2197  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much can I earn from faucets? on: April 28, 2016, 03:56:20 PM
About a cent an hour lol. Don't use faucets hoping to make a decent amount. You'd be betting off offering a service, selling things or doing captchas even (which IMO are just as terrible, but at least you'll have consistent earnings)
2198  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bit coin Address on: April 28, 2016, 01:23:24 PM
How do i create bitcoin address? what is the cost to purchase it.

use xapo or blockchain to create a free bitcoin wallet.

1: Go to Blockchain.info
2: Go to "Wallet" in Upper Manue
3: Click "Start a New wallet" Blue Button Or "Create My Free Wallet" Green Button,
4: Enter your email address and password and Your wallet is Ready.
5: You can See your Ready Bitcoin Address in down side of page. with this note: "Share This with anyone and they can send your payments"
You are done..

One Suggestion. Don't Switch to new blockchain wallet. Old blockchain wallet is more better then new one.

Step 6. Cry when you lose all your coins from this crappy online wallet. Don't use blockchain.info. When you set up an email address do you have access to the password? Pretty obvious answer is yes. Well with blockchain.info, THEY have access to your private key (aka: your 'password' for lack of a better term). But they use a simple algorithm that's (apparently) easy to crack and you lose everything. Just Google it. Don't take my word for it.
2199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be divided beyond satoshis? on: April 28, 2016, 01:19:29 PM
As others have said, right now it goes to the 8th decimal point and there's really no need for anything further (because it's already a fraction of a haypenny lol). If it comes down to it and 100 Satoshis are worth $1.00 it might be time to fork and go further than the Satoshi.

Of course if there is a price rise of 100x from right now and people are upset because you can't do micro transactions anymore, it may be brought up then as well. Anything is possible with Bitcoins, you just need concensus.
2200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stellar to give away 19 billion lumens to bitcoin holders on: April 28, 2016, 12:02:09 AM
This sounds cool as hell! Who cares if the rich get richer a who cares if it's worth nothing! You get free coins that maybe someday will be worth something  Grin
