1861  Economy / Reputation / Re: Zoomer: Bought account on: October 02, 2016, 07:29:48 PM
He's now scammed a few members. I think he still has a loan out so I'll update condoras and let him know that Zoomer most likely will be defaulting on th loan if he still has one out. Ugh. Why do people never look into the shady character they'd trading with? :/
1862  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The famous police "Zoomer" Scammed me for $40 bitcoins on: October 02, 2016, 07:21:49 PM
I did everything possible to warn everyone!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1619817.msg16281346#msg16281346‎

Hopefully this will be you to really look into who you're dealing with in the future. Just look at my post! It clearly shows that it's a bought account that was farmed for a while, sold off then trust farmed. Please do your due diligence. I'm sorry this happened to you but luckily it was only $40 and not $400. I would have to assume if no one said anything in the beginning he would have been around a little longer and scammed even more.
1863  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 25$ visa gift card for 15$ btc on: October 02, 2016, 07:13:28 PM
About pissed myself laughing. You're such a fucking fat ass troll. Who the fuck waste time to get in someone else's business and troll them out of boredom. I'm not proving shit to you. Like I give a fuck. I got the money and he got the card. Good deal. Get a life. I'd pay 100$ to spit in your face and laugh. Enjoy talking to the wall

Sounds good. Feel free to send the $100.00 here 1PziLewwt2BwEhi2kxqh9oXXU8V6AvMHmF. In the meantime where's that TXID? And wouldn't it make more sense to fight me on your alt? It doesn't have as much activity as you lol.
1864  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 25$ visa gift card for 15$ btc on: October 02, 2016, 07:05:09 PM
You're such an idiot lol no life.   Roll Eyes

You forgot the TXID retard. Prove you sold it. How much did he pay in BTC? No one is falling for this shit. We're not as stupid as you.
1865  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 25$ visa gift card for 15$ btc on: October 02, 2016, 07:00:24 PM
Bought it. Good legit seller

I betcha. What a great in-depth review. Could you post the TXID? And proof that the card worked for you? Also what escrow did you NOT use because thi scamming shit ball refuses escrow?

Piss off. Scammer. We know this is just your alt. We're not all a naive as you.

That's not my alt you idiot. We didn't use escrow and it went smoothly. I don't have to provide shit. You're just trolling you fat fuck. Mind your own business.

Typical peice of shit scammer. Show the TXID or that's your alt. Got it?

You might as well create another account because clearly yours is all fucked up now. No one trusts you, for good reason.

And if by some miracle these are real cards, they're either stolen or purchased with a stolen credit card. Don't buy from this peice of shit. He'll rob you.

Maybe we should have some spam fighters? Like, fight fire with fire? So whoever created the topic we just have 100 people send them 5-10PMs a day saying "lock your useless thread *link* or the spam to your inbox will continue.

Bad idea. It would be easier for moderators to lock threads, rather than force people to lock them.
In any case, I don't think PMs would bother anybody. Especially if you don't expect serious messages here.

Well ya but how many times has that been said already? And what has been done about it? So obviously if we keep doing what we've always done we'll always get the same results. Isn't that the definition of insanity?!
1868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hack the bitcoin network for 1000 btc? on: October 02, 2016, 04:47:52 PM
newcomers posting please check the thread , and i have given ample information and i have good legal bitcoins and i created the job to trace the hackers who hacked my eobot account.

if you check the btc address leads to my eobot acount.

i used the job to trace them and report the people who responded in my mail , on the website, or any type of contact i gave to the hackers

i have done my best to trace them and give to the cyber police.

i was the victim and i used the ad as a bait , please read the thread twice and just don't discuss the job, i created it cause the hackers/ the ponzi site owners hacked or took my bitcoins ,so i posted the ad so the hackers will strike again and leave traces , as expected when i posted the ad they attacked and left traces , i could only refer them to the police , and i could do nothing about it.

but it seems the company , itself is involved , i indeed have bitcoins but from legal jobs and some investments.

i don't trust the investments either.

but i can't sit idle .

so i will keep working . and i will invest experience profit loss etc.

it's all part of the business.

You really need to open a scam accusation thread against these people to help out and warn the community. People are just reading the OP and blurting out the first thing that comes to mind so they can earn their Satoshis from their signature. You may want to ask the OP to close the thread as well because it's only sig spam at this point.
1869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hack the bitcoin network for 1000 btc? on: October 02, 2016, 03:23:01 PM
Lol for those wondering what the hell eobot is (like I was, never heard of it) it's a fucking cloud mining Ponzi that this newbie fell for.

Google: Eobot: Bitcoin Cloud Mining and the best way to mine cryptocurrency

Rofl.

Have a read:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=551009.60

They obviously just took her funds because it's a God damn Ponzi rofl. No one hacked anything.

You are so naive. Omg that's hilarious. Finally the truth comes out. Your 1000 'tokens' on a Ponzi website were stolen. You never owned any bitcoins. I knew you sounded like a naive newb when you were 'waiting for an investment' hahahaha. Get everything out of cloud mining Ponzis or you're going to lose everything (if you even have anything left).

Everyone and their dog knows that when you see "Cloud Mining" it really means Ponzi. You were saying pawn in their scam.

Feel free to send me a tip for saving the rest of your bitcoins you almighty bitcoin expert. Please don't crush me with your superior mind Zzzzomg. *durp* *files harassment suit cuz she uses

Fighting spam by producing PM spam is actually a very horrible way of trying to accomplish this. Some of those users also may not want to lock their threads for the obvious reasons (they are either spamming themselves or facilitating spam).

OK umm... public hangings? As one of the 'little people' on this forum I feel like we have absolutely no say/control when it's pretty clear most people that are here for legitimate reasons feel that these threads should be abolished. Why are there so few mods that can do anything??
1871  Other / Meta / Re: Shouldn't non productive topics be moved from Bitcoin Discussion to Off-Topic? on: October 02, 2016, 01:19:43 PM
I don't think so. Those topics are discussing Bitcoin, so they have their place here. It has now the same function as the new "Gambling discussion" section.
No, they are not discussing Bitcoin dircetly. They are discussing useless general stuff that isn't Bitcoin specific (and/or personal experiences), which could also be answered properly within the first page. Such posts are extremely useless in most cases and just end up wasting your time reading through them. They should be moved into Off-Topic at least, or optimally locked and forbidden.

Maybe we should have some spam fighters? Like, fight fire with fire? So whoever created the topic we just have 100 people send them 5-10PMs a day saying "lock your useless thread *link* or the spam to your inbox will continue.
1872  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: October 02, 2016, 01:07:45 PM
can i use it for every altcoin?
Let me guess: you recently got (bought or hacked) this account, and now you're just spamming short lines in every topic to quickly level up towards Hero Member with 700+ Actiivty?

It would appear that way.

To answer your question, no. It can't be used to generate addresses for every altcoin. You can find modified versions of Vanitygen here
1873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Deutsche Bank: How long before it crashes now? on: October 02, 2016, 12:54:10 PM
DB crash is good for the $, and consequently, bad for bitcoin  Kiss

DB crash would be bad for the euro and consequently good for bitcoin.  Currency volatility in general is also good for bitcoin since it opens arbitrage opportunities.
bitcoin is backed by fiat again, if DB down, fiat down then so do the bitcoin. we need the bitcoin backed by the commodity, before the bank crashes, or the bitcoin is dead again. Roll Eyes

What the fuck are you talking about??? Are you kidding me?! Bitcoin is not and never will be backed by fiat. Don't ever fucking spew that shit from your mouth again. Google it right now and stfu.

Quote
As an investment, is Bitcoin a sure thing?
Bitcoin is a new and interesting electronic currency, the value of which is not backed by any single government or organization. Like other currencies, it is worth something partly because people are willing to trade it for goods and services. Its exchange rate fluctuates continuously, and sometimes wildly. It lacks wide acceptance and is vulnerable to manipulation by parties with modest funding. Security incidents such as website and account compromise may trigger major sell-offs. Other fluctuations can build into positive feedback loops and cause much larger exchange rate fluctuations. Anyone who puts money into Bitcoin should understand the risk they are taking and consider it a high-risk currency. Later, as Bitcoin becomes better known and more widely accepted, it may stabilize, but for the time being it is unpredictable. Any investment in Bitcoin should be done carefully and with a clear plan to manage the risk.

Fucking joke.. Jesus Christ... Are you shitting me? Use your original newbie account, not this bought one. Someone might mistakenly take you seriously. If this isn't bought you'd better fucking research what website you've been posting on for almost 2 years! Holy shit. Get the basics down, then start spamming the forum like all the illiterate sig spammers do.
1874  Other / Meta / Re: Shouldn't non productive topics be moved from Bitcoin Discussion to Off-Topic? on: October 01, 2016, 11:47:04 PM
I've noticed that if a new topic like this comes up from a newbie it gets neuked almost instantly but the good old crappy 'what would you do if I gave you 10btc' and useless shit is still plastered all over. Let's see what we have on the front page today shall we...

"Who uses bitcoin?" everyone on this forum.. NEXT
"What are you doing with bitcoin" Exactly what I'm doing with fiat... NEXT!
"How bitcoin is popular in your country" I don't know that it is but i'd love to see the explanation.. oh... just shitty English. NEXT!
"Why do you have bitcoin?" - same as what I'm doing with bitcoin. Same as fiat. NEXT
"2017 year of the bitcoin" predictions should be in speculation shouldn't they? NEXT!
"Will you accept Bitcoin as your salary?" Sure. NEXT!
"Any safe way to grow my bitcoins?" ya. Earn more and HODL. NEXT!
"Easiest way to earn bitcoin" shitpost on that thread for BTC NEXT!
"Pros and cons of using new bitcoin addresses for each transaction" the most legitimate thread I've seen yet. It'll be full of shitposts soon enough though.

Well that's as far as I'm going to go. Enough time has been wasted on reporting these threads. Is it only Theymos, Cyrus or Hilariousandco that can do anything about it?

Soon to come are the much anticipated:

"What would you do with FOUR Bitcoins???"
"Have you talked about bitcoins with your pet?"
"Why doesn't your Grandma own Bitcoins?"
"Satoshi is my uncle's friends' dog's brother's cousin"
"Are you selling bitcoins? Why?"
"Is Bitcoin are be good or is it am are it there am is bad?" (voted most likely to be spammed by illiterate sig spammers)
1875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Urgent: Bitcoin can be hacked! on: October 01, 2016, 09:24:20 PM
It is so simple to criticize and sling mud.

Anyone can do that.

Even a moron like you can mudsling! Way to go champ! As you said, it's very easy to criticize... Which is literally exactly what your OP is you retard. Get a life.
1876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ho is going to host a 100TB blockchain ??? on: October 01, 2016, 08:20:00 PM
"SanDisk has recently announced that they have started shipping their 1GB Secure Digital (SD) flash card. Although it has slipped its expected date, it is still the first production 1GB card. Jointly developed with Sharp, it contains a unique “stackable” packaging technology which has both a low-cost and high-yield so that it can be competitively-priced. It is available immediately with a suggested retail price of $499.99"

This is from 2004. So 12 years ago. $500/gb. Do you know what $500 buys now? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233766&cm_re=512gb_flash_drive-_-20-233-766-_-Product

2 512GB usb sticks. That's 1/1000th of the price in 12 years!

Now think... in 10 years do you really think 100TB will cost much more than $100? And will the blockchain even be that big??
1877  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known alts of anyone: User generated on: October 01, 2016, 02:12:48 PM

Furthermore, I wish to prove my credibility through reason not childish behavior and throughout my time on this forum, I have never lowered someone else's reputation to defend my own. Please understand that unless my address received transactions from the large number of scammers using it, I can't be liable to scamming.

But wait... I thought you liked childish behaviour? https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16538039/MagicIsMe.jpg.

I'm so confused. Did you buy this account from a pedophile or are you a pedophile? Which one is it? I'd love to hear your explanation.
1878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The danger of the cyptocurrencies on: October 01, 2016, 02:01:54 PM
If George Bush's dog made bitcoins it wouldn't matter because you can see everything they did. It's open source. What if someone all of a sudden hacked the email network and sent everyone a virus simultaneously that killed all computers in the world?!?!

Enough with the doomsday crap. I am Satoshi Nakamoto. I say the Blockchain is good to go.
1879  Other / Meta / Re: My account got stolen on: September 30, 2016, 02:12:35 AM

Is there any signed msg from old staked address coz without that its little bit risky for us to buy an account in these days coz lots of accounts hacked in past during DDoS attacks

You might want to Google what a DDoS attack is rofl. It's not a hack, it just makes a website go down.

And um, 60 posts and it's only 88% for 'quality' (which really is quantity of characters.. not the same but whatever). So 7 crappy posts already? And you just bought this account? Come on man. Why are you really getting rid of it?
