2141  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Why do people hate Xapo? on: May 08, 2016, 09:04:29 PM
Saw a lot of hate toward Xapo in the community, what don't you like about it.
Personally I never used it.

It's very centralized where Bitcoins are decentralized. It's an online wallet, which I personally never use because of security purposes. They're the most likely wallet to have your funds stolen from. I would go with anything that's not an online wallet.
2142  Other / Meta / (Sounds like) Ban Evasion to me... What do you think? on: May 08, 2016, 05:48:37 PM
Here's the quote from a quite appropriately named 'sockpuppet1' account posting on behalf of TPTB_need_war. It look like ban evasion to me. Am I right?

Please re-read my upthread post as I added so much to it. I am writing on behalf of TPTB_need_war who is quoted in the opening post and who is currently banned for 9 more days.

I will delete this post. Please quote my upthread post, so readers won't forget to read it.

Lol ban evasion? Tisk tisk. Keep your posts in Meta or the ban will be longer bruh Wink. I wouldn't suggest continuing posting outside of Meta at all, on any account.
2144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here is why Cloudmining failed on: May 08, 2016, 05:36:11 PM
When you buy hash power with your USD, you bet against the miners market. That means by buying hashpower shares, you predict that number of miners will decrease in the future and your hashpower shares will gain value.

If you are a fan of bitcoin, and if you think bitcoin will succeed, then you shouldn't have invested in cloudmining at all.

Well that and the obvious... A lot of cloud mining companies are just Ponzis. It's really difficult to get any sort of ROI out of a cloud mining operation.
2145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: May 08, 2016, 05:01:37 PM
You do realise that 'China' isn't one person / organization right? I know people feel threatened by China but it's still decentralized. If they all start merging then that's another story.
2146  Economy / Services / Re: [1 OPEN SLOT] Rollin.io Signature & Avatar Campaign on: May 08, 2016, 03:38:52 PM
Unfortunately I'm going to have to deny you two, because once cpfreeplz changes his signature, this campaign will be full once again.

Woohoo thanks! I changed it now.

I don't know where you newbies learn your English but I would suggest buying a new book or firing your teacher. STAKED. You're not 'stacking' an address it's not a stack of bills.

At least you'll stand out with your purchased account(s) spamming your 'stacked' address rofl.

2151  Economy / Speculation / Re: The halvening is now officially fueling up on: May 07, 2016, 09:17:18 PM
http://www.thehalvening.com/

I swear that truck with the fuel was not here a couple of days ago. Things are happening and the hype is real. This Craig Wright incident only helped getting the community stronger than ever and the mainstream attraction towards bitcoin is at all time highs. The price is in fact going up. I can't wait for this summer, I know something great is about to happen.

Either way I can't see it going down so seems like a good investment opportunity at the moment. We'll see what happens in the next coming months with 'the media' reporting on Bitcoin halving though. Hopefully there's a lot of hype, but at the same time that could just create a bubble of people who are looking to make a quick buck.
2152  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: May 07, 2016, 09:14:17 PM
Clearly it's a good thing. It's going to happen either way every 4 years so get used to it. Satoshi didn't just pull this out of nowhere, it was thought through meticulously. If you slowly keep cutting the reward in half, the Bitcoins will have more value over time. Eventually there will be no more Bitcoins generated and that may be when they're very stable in price.
2153  Economy / Services / Re: I'll pay 0.1 BTC for the first who find this 7z file password on: May 07, 2016, 09:09:01 PM
I was looking for a cheap ransomware software on the Deep Web just for fun... I've found this on the onion network:

http://jw4idzkvgmivxpkd.onion/

The author asks for 1 BTC (or 5 BTC with the full source code, made with Delphi 7).

The files are provided in that page before making the payment, but they are packaged as 7z (with password)  Embarrassed

Instead of paying 1 BTC I hope someone with better knowledge can crack those files  Cool

I will pay 0.1 BTC for the first who crack and provide the password for the source code.

I saw a video of this ransomware working (it is very easy and promissing) but I cannot find the link anymore. It is on the same deep web site, but not at the first page, and I haven't bookmarked the forum where I saw it Sad

Wow. You are the most pathetic piece of crap to shitpost on this forum to date. You're such a piece of crap that you can't even buy the program to scam people and/or ruin their businesses/lives. Eat shit. How does that sound?
2154  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many btc do you have? on: May 07, 2016, 09:04:11 PM
Not many Undecided tough times lol. We'll see how it goes and if I can find any work for Bitcoins. It seems to be a lot of low paying jobs on this forum or any other freelance site. Trying to make a living from Bitcoins is a tricky business.
2155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Put some Respeck On Craig Whites name on: May 07, 2016, 08:59:59 PM
He signed a message privately to Gavin Andresen, that's no irrefutable proof that he's satoshi. Did you know that Wright's fortune literally depends on being Satoshi? Hee took $54m in R&D subsidies, to qualify for those he claimed that he had signed the rights of millions of dollars worth of bitcoin to a third party. Do you see why he'd want to lie about being Satoshi now?

Exactly! He didn't prove anything to anyone. Who cares if Gavin Anderson may or may not know the truth now. If he wanted to prove it he would just sign a message from the Genesis block. Maybe he's putting it off because Satoshi is dead and he's doing everything in his power to get the info to the Genesis block. Ever think of that? I'm sure he knows who Satoshi was and is trying to take advantage of it.

Also just wanted to throw this out there: What the hell is Respeck? Lololol
2156  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.1 BTC loan on: May 06, 2016, 11:41:13 PM
You should have started smaller and offered a lot less interest. If it seems too good to be true it probably is. Once you have sufficient collateral come back (on A
a new, non-negged account) and ask for the loan again!
2157  Economy / Services / Re: [US/CA/NL] Currenty looking for members willing to earn $0.25 - $2 BTC easily! on: May 06, 2016, 11:39:23 PM
What's the task? Is it just an email sign up or do you need our real information? Once you add this to the OP it will be easier for you to get people interested. Send me a PM w/ the details!
2158  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: May 06, 2016, 11:37:41 PM
I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?

Something I should have added my friend was doing something you guys call "mining" I am very knew to the bitcoin world even though I have had them for a long time. I bought these bitcoin from him because he needed to sell them, my financial advisor has told me that the longer I wait the more return I would get so I told him hold the account for 5 years and ill see where I am... So last July I had gotten my account back, did a bunch of research then found you guys. So I came here to post a few posts and for everyone skeptical this is the proof https://gyazo.com/ee99cef712e9b72f03a3e8e870c33624

Signed message or it didn't happen. I'm sure you didn't keep all your BTC in a single address so please show any address with ~100BTC that you own. Then we can get into what you should do to invest them.
2159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Put some Respeck On Craig Wright's name on: May 06, 2016, 11:33:41 PM
I heard that Craig Wright gets $1 in BTC any time his name is mentioned alongside Satoshi. Holy crap!! He's rich!! Well now he is anyways.

On a more serious note... Why does this matter in the slightest? Let's say he is Satoshi. Who cares? What difference does that make to you?
2160  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dooglus is supporting ponzis on: May 06, 2016, 11:26:29 PM
Each account can only be used for 1 scam

Not true. But if you're saying that QS should take responsibility for up to 1 scam per sold account - I'm all for it. Let's start with Master-P.

Mmmmmm... pretty sure he had like... 2 or 3 scams going on... or a dozen. Smiley.

Anywho, I don't really see an issue with fixing code. If he fixed code for a website that sold guns/drugs/live girls on Webcam some people would find find that immoral too. That's all this is (worst case scenario) is immoral. Not a scam lol.
