FYI...

Physical.Criptoe.Com now has a Paypal payment option for credit card/bank purchases.

I am looking in to a referral program as well.  I will release additional info when I get it all sorted out.

Thanks,

Fuse

Any news about the shipping?

Sorry, Frais, I should have updated the thread.  I shipped two packages via USPS.  One to a user outside of Europe and the US, and one to LTEX.  However, USPS would not provide tracking numbers for the international packages.  I have notified both LTEX and the other receiver, and they have both responded.  I offered to provide confirmation of shipment to them to confirm the package left my local post office.

Had I known that they would not provide tracking info, I would have used a different shipping service.  I will be using Fedex or similar for future shipments.  I will ask LTEX and the other user to confirm they have gotten this info as well.

I'm sorry for the confusion and delay in notification.

I just thought it was a very funny image of people "looking at the code".
The other assumptions above are all wrong; I am not mad at anyone and everyone can stay in, the more the merrier.
The thing I mentioned before was that Guldencoin should decide the course for Guldencoin itself. And that it should not stray away from its primary focus on the Dutch market.
That is my opinion. And on top of that I do not like people insulting others and accusing others of fud whenever they please. Who are we to judge.

In fact I have purchased multiple products with NLG, am an early adopter of NLG, have informed ny2cafuse early on how you can unleash enormous hashing power which I directed through his criptoe network, was one of the first merchants to accept NLG as a payment option through LitePaid, gave away over 40000 NLG through the guldencoinpuzzel promotion, promoted NLG through facebook, linkedin and twitter, and I hope NLG will become a serious payment option in The Netherlands (and abroad in a second stage).

So I am not bumming anyone. I am a big NLG supporter.
In my view the success of NLG depends on the adoption of the coin by the Dutch population.
The sooner the better, because the momentum is fading. That worries me.

I'll take a step back then.  I really did take your gulden forum post as a swipe at me and my team.  I'm sure if you go back and look at the conversation here and then your post there, you could see where I would think your post was directed in that way.  If I was wrong in that, then I apologize.  I would guess that the post was directed at me though, as our history of communication here has always been touchy at best.  Additionally, you've always seemed to take NLG out of the hands of anyone foreign, and my team holds a lot of it.

That aside, if you're worried about the momentum fading, don't come here and knock the development of the simulator.  It's a solid solution to algorithm testing, even if it's in it's early stages.  People were excited about it during development, and still are... let them have that.  If you want the momentum to continue, embrace the wins instead of knocking them.

You could grow up and give a counter argument.

It's cool, man.  He just comes around every now and then and tries to bum people out.

He's just mad that my team is heavily invested in Gulden, and my pool(run by me in the US) plays a large part in the community.  https://forum.guldencoin.com/index.php?topic=621.0

565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: December 18, 2014, 08:33:15 PM
Out of curiosity, the Clevermining states the following: We automatically exchange all mined coins into Bitcoins and pay out entirely in Bitcoins for your convenience.

This is the Clevermining's  Guldencoin deposit wallet on Bittrex: https://explorer.guldencoin.com/#/address/GQsUGhJiKTA35ysmVDMsASHPdXWxbDoqoN

At this moment over 3.7 million Guldencoins aren't sold, all those Guldencoins are mined with the help of your users but didn't reach the Bittrex exchange. Clevermining is stacking up, can you justify this toward your users?

So is the problem that CM is dumping the coins or holding the coins?

If that is really a Bittrex deposit address, you can't possibly know if the coins are sold or not. Exchange trades are off-chain and deposit addresses belong to the exchange, not to the user. So CM could be holding 44 million NLG or zero or anything in between.

If CM is supposed to be all about profit for the miners, why would the pool be sitting on coins?  Wouldn't you need to sell the coins to make the profit?  If the pool is sitting on coins, wouldn't that make you upset if you knew that the pool op was using the pool not for profit, but rather to continue to disrupt a chain out of spite?  I'm sure a lot of miners would like to know the answer to why there could possibly be 4 million coins sitting in storage.  My guess is that this is exactly what is going on- once an algorithm change is made, and CM is kicked off the chain, Terk has enough leverage to highly manipulate price.

If there is a held cache of coins, then why hold instead of paying the miners?  Seems like he's robbing the miners if that's the case.  So what's the reasoning?  I'll let Terk answer that... oh yeah... nm.

Possibly the cause is that it is not easy to sell them. Let's be honest, who in her sane mind is going to give away good, valuable bitcoins in order to buy that shit? I am surprised that there is some market at all for those scamcoins.

Ibistru, just curious... are you one of those "Bitcoin is the only true coin" fanatics, or are you just opposed to researching things before you comment on them?  You seem to think you have Gulden pegged for a scam coin, but I'm guessing you've never even checked it out.  It's hard to call something a scam coin when it's used daily by a large group of people.  I think you forget that traditional financial thinkers(fiat lovers) still call Bitcoin a scam.  Honestly, though, read the thread before you call it a scam coin again.  You're making yourself sound obtuse.

I know of many other coin devs who developed and improved their coins in a big way.
In that same time, for NLG the "simulator" was(is?) the key focus of NLG development.
So a vote for the NLG dev means to say this simulator is more impressive than all other development and improvements done by other devs for other coins.
Could anyone enlighten me if the simulator has proven its worth so far, and if, and how it is being used at this time?

I'd use the simulator, but I wouldn't want anyone to get butthurt because I'm a foreign party.  Roll Eyes

Have you used the simulator?  Have you even looked at the code?  /GJ didn't just do development for Gulden with this, he did development for every coin out there with the simulator.  Pretty sure that's commendable in anyone's eyes.

Tell me, do all those sites happen to be registered to your name? Because that is one of the oldest tricks in the book: start pumping fake news about some new 'paradigm' out there, and reinforce that news with websites that say the same. I have very good reason to be suspicious given what happened in the altcoin pump and dump game, and this is no different. Just know that there is impunity for you if you happen to be a scammer and that you won't get away with fraud.

Oh, man... that's comical.

Do yourself a favor and read up on the thread.  I'm sure you'd retract your statement once you did.

Beste WooCommerce Litepaid plugin gebruikers,

https://github.com/patrickkivits/woocommerce-litepaid.com

Gelieve de plugin z.s.m. updaten om gebruik te kunnen maken van deze mooie nieuwe versie!

Voor vragen of hulp met installatie stuur even een PM of contacteer me op Twitter: @patrickkivits

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear WooCommerce Litepaid plugin users,

I've just released a new version (1.2.0) which immediately processes a order payment, both successful and cancellation in WooCommerce. The customer will automatically be sent to a success or failure page.

The waiting time of the cronjob is adjusted to 22 minutes, this is because the time for payment in Litepaid is set to 20 minutes + an 2 minute buffer to play it safe.

The cron job is now only necessary to cancel the order of timed out payments automatically (ie not paid within 20 minutes) in WooCommerce.

The new version of the plugin can be found at:

https://github.com/patrickkivits/woocommerce-litepaid.com

Please update the plugin asap to make use of this great new version!

For questions or assistance with installation, send me a PM or contact me on Twitter: @patrickkivits

Kudos, mate!  Thanks again for all your hard work!

I had to switch my storefront to another system to get rolling again, but I will definitely implement this in the next shop I open.

Terk, and only Terk, please address the concerns of the NLG community.  I don't want to hear from anyone else, unless they are actively involved in the management of the pool and it's policies.

NLG is just another shit coin.
I am surprised you are angered, when you should be grateful of what CM is doing. CM is helping to deflate the pump of this shit coin so that the eventual, inevitable crash will be softer. You should only be happy about this. Unless, of course, you are one of the con men organizing the pump and dump. In that case I can understand your anger.

Mate, I was around calling shit coins shit coins before you probably spent your first satoshi.  I lead a discussion about banning shit coins in the altcoin subforum before 90% of the alts came out.  I've spent enough time looking at coins to know a shit coin from a legitimate prospect.  Do yourself a favor and do some reading.  It's probably the first coin I've seen in a long time that can truly stand alone and succeed.  You could make a lot more money with solid prospects, mate... remember that.

I have no interest in pump and dumps.  My post history would show that.  I was against Fontas when he was pushing them on BTC-E almost 2 years ago now.  I stand behind coins with meaning... not pump and dump coins.  So no, I have no thanks to give to CM.

I find it funny though that you quote my statement about wanting to hear from Terk only.  I even made it bold.  Maybe I should have gone back to 1990s web design and added the <blink> tag for effect.

A lot of talk, but still no Terk.

I miss the crazy over-engineered GPU and FPGA farm pictures.

I stopped following this thread when people started posting pictures of Jalapenos.  "Look at this box on my desk" and "here's the exact same box, but I put it on the shelf".

They need to make miners that require assembly and part tweaking again.  Finding that uber-efficient setup that took multiple trials of this part with that part, and this board with this card... man, those were the days.

I do not answer for anybody. I have no idea where you got that from. I don't know Terk nor do I have any clue what he thinks about that. I use this pool and I use this thread to discuss the pool. I expressed my own opinion regarding the approach NLG supporters are taking, which I thought is counterproductive. It wasn't even a response to you, but to another poster, so for you to come at me with these accussations is childish to say the least. If you don't like my opinion or even the fact that I have one you're free to ignore me. You're also free to continue to attack me, as the case may be. All I'm saying that your tone and your methods are not helping your cause but rather alienating forum readers who could potentially have sympathy for it - again in my own opinion, in case that is not clear yet. I hope you'll calm down and will see it for what it is. Take care.

November 23rd is the last time Terk posted, and you've been fielding user questions for him since then.  It's pretty easy to see where I would think you speak for him.  Also, it's funny how you can say that my tone is attacking when you yourself said this:

You were told that your diff adjustment is broken. Why don't you get of your high horse, fix your coin and move on.

If you wanted to stay civil, then act civil.

That being said, let's try this again.  I'll revise my post as to not offend you:

Terk, and only Terk, please address the concerns of the NLG community.  I don't want to hear from anyone else, unless they are actively involved in the management of the pool and it's policies.

You seem to have a reading comprehension issue as well as bad temper. You might want to re-read what I posted. I advised the poster of what in my opinion would be a more effective way to deal with the issue. Attacking me for my opinion - or anyone else on these forums for that matter - won't help your coin one bit. If anything it will reflect poorly on the coin and its supporters. If this is the way you communicate with anyone whose opinion you dislike then NLG has bigger problems than "rape".

Good luck with your coin and I hope you'll be able to find a solution.

No temper here.  I just don't tolerate ignorance.  My reading comprehension is just fine.  You said PM Terk.  I'm saying I want public answers.  I'm thinking you need to reevaluate your stance on who misread what.

The plan to remedy the situation, brought on by CM and Terk's apathy, has been planned and is in the works.  A plan that will allow all coins to look at algorithm testing at a more intricate scale.  In fact, I'm thinking LTEX is very much correct in that CM will probably face some hefty problems with profitability in the next year or so because of it.  So that's not the problem.  The problem is Terk's reluctance to work with the community civilly, so that we can continue to promote healthy growth.  Terk was asked to cooperate with the community while we worked on solutions.  He agreed and then went back on his word.  3 months and no word from him on his stance or his reasoning.  The fact that you answer for him, and poorly at that, is exasperating.  No one is asking for your stance.  We are asking for Terk's.  Is is that difficult to comprehend?

As far as my mouthpiece comment goes, I still find it puzzling that you answer all his questions for him.  Again, let him speak for himself.

Not sure I'm getting your point. If you have an antidote, use it. If you wanted to come across as "nice", you utterly failed by using words like "rape".

You seem to be upset that someone doesn't subscribe to your long term holding ideology, but you will not gain any supporters by spamming this thread and certainly will not solve the problem this way. Talk to Terk in private if you have any technical issues to talk about, or just focus on making your coin more resistant to switching pools.

If not CM then another pool will come and do the same thing, so you might as well work on a solution rather than blame.

How's it feel to be Terk's mouthpiece?  You seem to fight blindly for him.  Does he pay you much for the effort?  I'm just wondering why you don't let him speak for himself.

The fact that LTEX uses the word rape doesn't change the tone of the conversation.  Your point is moot.  CM does in fact rape the coin, and it's community of their time and money.  Regardless of whether the underlying issue is the algorithm or not, CM is raping NLG.  If 50% of the mined Bitcoin or Litecoin were sold in a day, what do you think the community would say?  If they faced 1 hour delays at the hand of a single pool, what would the community do?

Secondly, where's the spam?  Questions are being asked and Terk's lackeys are fielding them, not Terk himself.  People want answers, and they want them addressed publicly by Terk, not you.

I would love to see the reasoning behind continuing to manipulate the NLG algorithm, even though developers and the community were trying to work with him in a civil manner when the problem was identified.  At this point one could only think that it is because Terk takes pleasure in doing so.  If that's not the case, then let him publicly state it.  I personally don't care to hear it from anyone but him.  When I spoke with him originally in PM, he seemed cordial.  He agreed to work with the community and reduce the hashrate he pointed at NLG, and then 2 weeks later he continued.  If he is a man of his word, he would be honorable and live up to his agreements.  If he can't keep his word about this situation, what does that say about the way he conducts business?  How could any miner make a conscious decision to blind trust his word after that?  It raises a lot of questions regarding his ethics.

So, Suchmoon, enough with your shilling.  Let your master speak for himself.

I want to make a fair warning. Yesterday(?) Opal did a wallet upgrade because of some issues. However, some guy from the btctalk forum quoted the original wallet update post, changed the links, and posted the comment "Don't forget to update guys!". Some of you will probably already know what happened after: around $20k got stolen from personal computers due to inserted malware..  Sad

I'm making this warning because we'll probably get new wallets after the algorithm change. Make sure to only download this wallet from official sources such as the original post or the guldencoin website. Don't make the mistake to download an infected wallet.

Look at what's happening at Opal, a roll back is being considered.. I wouldn't want to get into this trouble with guldencoin  Smiley

Icebear

Good tip. I will announce this @GuldencoinWeb when the announcement is there. Other websites should do the same, hope they will...

Best thing to do is have devs post the MD5 checksum of the files they release when they do updates, so you can compare their hash with yours.  This way you know that you are getting the exact files the devs put out and not an altered version.

IMO, this should be standard for all coin releases, but it is often left out.

Orders up until this time (22:36 PST) have been boxed up and will ship tomorrow morning.  I will provide LTEX with the tracking number and I will have him confirm he has received the info.

I will be shipping a separate order to Oceania, and I will provide that specific user with their own tracking number.  I will have them confirm here that they have received their info as well.

Cheers,

Hey guys,
I'm having an issue buying one of these physical coins, but the issue is not with litepaid but with the NLG client, when I put a transaction through for just under 23000NLG it keeps coming up with 'transaction too big', downloaded the client again to see if that was the issue but nah still won't send, is anyone else having this issue

Make sure you enable the fees via settings.

If that doesn't work, try sending the coins to another wallet you own.  If need be, break it up into multiple transactions, then send the coins from that address.  There may be too many inputs to make up the 23k, and the transaction size is too large(in KB).

I could be completely wrong on both counts, but they might work.

Please assign an address title for future reference

whats that?

If you use the site again, it lets you select an address by title, like "home" or "work".

Bram, let me look at the old site to see what your orders were.  Wasn't 024 the coin we did the 50k refund for, or was it a different coin?
