I'm going with tagmining.com, it's always averaged out better. C'mon over, the water in the pool is just right. Let's do it guys!

Thanks, Vesper.

What he forgot to mention is that we also have cake.

So far so good it seems... fingers crossed.  Probably should test for a month or two before coinwarz or the multipools pay any attention.

That would suit me!  Cool

Shhhh... don't tell them we're possibly fixed.

1 hour

In the meantime, they still have about 20% of the NET Hashrate. I hope it won't be all lost

Yet another reason to spread the hashrate around.  I've said it about 50 times in this thread.  Don't jump onto the biggest pool just because it's the biggest.  I run one of the largest Tagcoin pools, and I actually make more coin per day as a miner on a smaller pool than on a top hash rate pool.  Test for yourself, but you will typically earn at least 10% more per day on a sub 50-100MH pool.  I don't know if there is a science behind it or just plain voodoo, but it seems to be the case with any coin I've tried it with.  I've got people begging me for private pools all the time because of it.

Spread the hash rate around to smaller pools and keep the network healthy.

POT.CripToe.Com

is still up and running.  We had a decent hashrate early on, but it seems everyone went to the huge pools that got DDOSd.

Just a reminder that we are 0% until Valentine's Day.

Tagmining.Com is back up and running.

Password resets, notifications, and all other sorts of cool stuff should work like it was supposed to the first time.

Long story short, Sendmail and Postfix don't get along, especially when you didn't even know sendmail was there in the first place.  Noob error.

FYI...

The pool "account" page isn't working for some reason.  I am working on a fix right now.  I will update when it's working.

1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The World's First Rewards Coin - Mandatory update to v 1.3 on: February 01, 2014, 02:56:39 AM
Thanks for the update, but I would still like to double check.

You are now on the correct and new block chain and there should now be no or not many orphans, correct?

Also, you might want to update the TAG/USD conversion, as it is a bit too high right now.

I can't guarantee anything with the orphans or forks.  No TAG pool operator can guarantee anything with orphans right now.  It's an issue the whole network is going through.  However, we are on the same chain as Hashfaster, and ahead of Botpool.  So we're running the way we should now.

I'm working on some front end fixes right now after the update... including the USD conversion stats.  Thanks for the reminder.

Feb 2nd can't come soon enough.

Fuse, do we need to sign up separately to your other pools or did the user names/pw's sync between pools?

BTW, updated your trust with our two transactions.

Thanks for the trust, mate!  Ehalvers, thanks for yours as well!

Yeah, the other pools aren't synced, so you will need to create a username for each.  One day when I become high speed and figure that stuff out, I'll merge the DBs and make possible to use one login on every pool.  I should have done the research and did that from the get-go.  I'll be the first one to admit that lol.

FYI...

I'm not going to sugarcoat it... we were on a fork that wasn't the highest, we resynced and the fork bent us over and made us it's play thing.  I should have caught it because we didn't have an orphan all day  Undecided.

I'm working on clearing the issues in the DB when you fork and blocks were recorded as good and then end up being bad.  Mining on the pool is down right now.  Payouts should still work.

If you have large outstanding balances on the pool, cash yourself out.

I will be finishing up the DB cleanup and I will probably start the MPOS update that I wanted to do this weekend anyway.  The DB fixes will take some time, so you will have a chance to pay yourself out if you're worried.  However, your coins are safe regardless.

I will keep everyone updated as I progress.

I am sincerely sorry for the downtime.  Hopefully when this BS fork/orphan issue is resolved, we can get back to business as usual.

-Fuse

EDIT-

Also- there will not be a jackpot tomorrow.
The orphans accounted for more than half our blocks this week, and the total liquid funds on the server aren't even enough to cover the server costs for the month.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The World's First Rewards Coin - Mandatory update to v 1.3 on: January 31, 2014, 08:33:40 PM
ALERT FYI:

Tagmining.com is going down right now as we are orphan free, but behind the other pools.  I am going to resync the pool's blockchain.

I am warning you now... there will probably be orphaned blocks lost in the process.

-Fuse

EDIT: We are back up and working now.

FYI... blocks most certainly were lost to orphans.

EDIT: We are are back down.  We are behind the highest chain again.  I will update as I find out more.

EDIT: We are back up and hashing.  MPOS update completed, so you will now need to login with your email.

Just a reminder to spread the love around with your hashes.

POT.CripToe.Com

is still puffin' along without issues at 0%.  Throw a rig our way, and you won't be disappointed.

Hey Ive tested this, I can login with my accounts through the IP and the domain. Its the same server, you should be able to mine and login on either one, just logout and log back in.

Hey, mate... please clarify your pool fee.  Post says 0%, but news on the site says 1%.  Just so people don't get confused.

Registrations are temporarily disabled for STR.CripToe.Com due to the overwhelming hashrate on the pool.

I will update as time goes on.

1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STAR COIN [STR] - The coin with bonus STAR blocks on: January 30, 2014, 10:16:02 PM
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SPREAD THE HASHRATE AROUND!

Especially when the difficulty and network hashrate are this low, it's important to keep the network healthy.  If you're new to the coin, or about to start mining, please find the lowest hash rate pool and go to that for a day or two, then re-evaluate your options.

First block found on STR.CripToe.Com.

Stratum errors in the first few minutes were me restarting stratum in order to start new stratum logs for fresh debug info if needed.
