2381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scams now the second largest in the world on: March 19, 2022, 01:37:04 PM
Well, that was expected since day by day we have newcomers who always have curious about investments without knowing what it is as long they heard about [profit] That is right profit --greedy people will take always a risk even though they know that it is very vulnerable into a scam like shitcoins and other memecoins that becomes scammed. I don't know how many projects now have been raised related to crypto and perhaps 60% of them become scammed. People should stick on bitcoin nothing else, no hype, no fraud and you will be safe.
They are not just greedy, they are also impatient. And every time there is a new project that offers high returns x100, x1000, without a doubt, they put money in there. They don't realize it until they suffer losses.

Now the crypto investment is getting bigger, more chances that these scammers will get a victim. So many individuals that are here know nothing, they simply just do buying without taking the precautions. They'll absolutely be thinking about easy money in crypto which they think is not necessary. That is why it was not going wonder why crypto is the 2nd largest scam in the world, that can possibly be the top if these newbies won't change their approach to the market.
2382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 19, 2022, 12:02:06 PM
And this silent the critiques of Westbrook for at least some time with this kind of performance from him. Positive news for AD though, there seems to be a lot of development so hopefully they can make it to the playoffs and maybe he can play. Vogel should stop experimenting with smaller player, he should put Dwight their more often to play as the man in the middle.

It's tough for Westbrook to regain momentum while there are lots of criticizing him because of his poor plays. He should take that as an inspiration to work hard more. I know he's trying his best but it's just that, he's not the same as before.

I'm sure his teammates are giving him some good words of advice on how to deal with lots of negative reviews. LeBron lives on that since then but still making good production so I'm sure Westbrook can also be like that. Not with the points, not with the rebounds, not with the assists, and so on but on how to blend properly with his teammates regardless of who's on the floor.

They just have to make sure to get on the play-in to fight for the playoffs spot while waiting for Anthony Davis to return in action.

I really feel the pressure on Westbrook since there's a lot of expectation for him that cause Lakers a lot of young players with potential just to acquire him but keeps underperforming since the day he play on Lakers. Those 3ple double days him is over and no one in Lakers will the same as his team mates on OKC. Westbrook has a lot of potential but his ego is his barrier to release it since he is not adjusting to his team mate.

Westbrook can't be as effective as he was before because that depends on his teammates and the coaching staff, but we cannot deny that Westbrook is still capable despite the fact that he is an awful shooter. Maybe he is not comfortable with the kind of play the Lakers have for him and they aren't adjusting because until now we are still seeing him struggling and the Lakers as a team.
2383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 19, 2022, 11:25:04 AM

That's one thing to be proud of despite the backlashes and people that dislike him for showing the true attitude that he has. 1 month left and we're going to see them spar.

Fans do not want a fighter who does trash-talk, therefore we should get used to it. However, we cannot deny that Casimero is one of the best boxers in the PH, and despite his attitude in boxing, he can still be something that we should be proud of. People stop talking about him but if he will beat Butler then we should expect that the talks between Casimero and Inoue will again relieve.
2384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 19, 2022, 10:57:47 AM
Wow, i never thought that Ginebra would advance to the semis by defeating the TNT Katropa twice and it was not even a close game.

Scottie Thompson as usual did the damage for the Kings with his hustle and rebounding prowess hehe.

Congrats to all who back the Gin Kings to win and advance to the semis and hopefully to the Finals, seems like the PBA office is smiling at the moment as they expect gate revenues to skyrockets when the semis began.

I was expecting it, after they win in game 1, I am already convinced that the Ginebra Kings have a huge chance of winning the championship again. Also, bad decision for the TNT for changing their import in the do or die game, there's no chemistry been created yet so you cannot expect them to win. s

I agree that it was a wrong decision, their import cannot be effective in just a short period of time. In game 1, it was a bit close unlike the game 2 where the Gin Kings clearly dominated them.

Their import only scored 14 points while Brownlee had 29 points.
2385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if you want to get rich get VITE coin? on: March 19, 2022, 10:38:45 AM

A commenter used this expression while reading Crypto currency comments today(if you want to get rich get VITE coin?). It did not interest me much, but as far as I can see, there is really a pumping and it is on the rise by 25% right now.
I think the right word for that is "If you want to get POOR, get Shitcoins".
Well, an influencer would like to try encouraging people by simply saying "getting Rich" but in real life...people had lost because of wrong investment. I know that this project is in the developing phase, they'll somehow need for them to prove just for the seek to attract investors.

Quote
Do you think this crypto can make a serious splash? I look forward to your valuable comments.
It just leaves the unknown. We can't really speculate to what happened but seeing on the market review and from the experts
https://www.pickacrypto.com/coins/vite-ico-review/
it even looks great. But then, it was not enough to prove they are truly promising until the moment it was officially available in the market for a trade.
2386  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will rise on: March 19, 2022, 10:05:30 AM

I believe most of people now are being introduced with Bitcoin because of inflation right now on fiats, and you will see that most of people are intended to hold it off exchanges and this is very good news.
It is actually glad to see the market continue to improve and a part of this to see changes in the market trend. We usually think about history repeats itself, thinking that what happened 10 years ago will happen again someday. However, the market doesn't look like any of those in the past, it is really different by now.

And there is also one thing I've noticed to the investors, they are quite learned how to control their emotions. Holding seems to see during the crisis and even the ATH, we never see huge selling volume which is an indication that people are really serious preparing for the future, likely aiming for the long-term.
2387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 19, 2022, 06:47:06 AM

I think for regular retail investors we have a completely different view point because of most people have very different financial circumstances and therefore make very different decisions what to do with their capital.
And we can't compare our life to HIM. He deserves his action and keeping his Bitcoin is what he wants. And besides, he doesn't need to spend it by now and there is no sense in selling his Bitcoin. He has the purpose why he bought Bitcoin in the first (which we don't know yet) and not selling them has of reason as well.

Anyways, we are not sure if he is telling the truth or just for another entertainment. People know that he already lie to us in the past few days and I don't think we have to put concern into what he says on twitter.
2388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market today on: March 19, 2022, 06:22:31 AM
Even in fact we will continue to see this cycle in the next few weeks too, there will be times when the bitcoin market and of course altcoin will correct again later. Already a few weeks ago actually the market cycle experienced conditions which I think is the best for the crypto market. Anyone will probably benefit in the medium trade

Yeah, this is a period of correction and retracement, meaning the price will go down without any hesitation and we can't do anything about it but to be a wise investors, buying the dip. Right now it seems that the market is green, then all of a sudden it will go down again. This is what we call a cycle and this could happen p to the end of the year. So we need to be very cautious and maybe it's good to listen to our guts because the market is very unpredictable.
The price of Bitcoin went high back slowly and this also affects the altcoins sections. It perhaps does not have that instant impact on them but sooner or later, we can see altcoins are growing too. The connection between the two becomes obvious and seeing Bitcoin moving up we could expect it also to altcoins at the same time.

Quite a good time to buy in anticipation of the possible bull market. Yes, we can't predict the market, however, taking a step before it happens is really a good idea.

Private Keys

As mentioned earlier, private keys are generated together with public keys (and addresses) as part of private-public key pairs.

Bitcoin private keys are a very important part of keeping BTC secure on the Bitcoin network. Each Bitcoin private key is essentially a very secure passcode that is used to unlock and spend BTC belonging to a specific public key and wallet address. This means that Bitcoin private keys should always be kept secret. If someone has access to your private key, they could easily steal your BTC.
Don't get stressed mate, you're not giving yet the private keys as the key to access your wallet. Your wallet is totally safe and you still have the full control.

Addresses can be checked by anyone but for as long as they don't have the key to access it, that still makes no sense. So, stop worrying that, they can just see what's inside but can never touch it.

2390  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What I have learned so Far on: March 18, 2022, 01:23:51 PM
I have learned a lot in this forum. And the following are some areas.

3. Criticism and correction: most people criticized me and correct me again.. Criticism make me have an Eagle feathers (very strong).
It is a need for you to have a thick skin so you can handle the criticism. I feel that too and we sometimes look down on ourselves but yes, we have to grow up and the feedback, we heard from the other forum members helps us to know that we are wrong and what we need to change.

Quote
So far, so good.. these are some of the areas I have learned from the group. Mostly the number one.
That is for sure because we wanted to improve. So far it was good as long as we listen to advise. No hatred or whatever it is for as long as we accept mistakes. We indeed learn from our experience and a sign that we are improving.
2391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 18, 2022, 12:09:42 PM
Errol Spence Jr was supposed to be the original opponent of Manny Pacquiao right and ended up with Yordenis Ugas which where he lost. This could be an interesting match I think Yordenis has a higher chance of winning since I was looking at previous match of Pacquiao and Spence Jr. I see that Pacquaio has an advantage but losses to Ugas so there's a high possibility that Ugas will win the match.
No, not really, on your personal view maybe but on the bookmaker's view, it's Spence who has the bigger edge on the fight.
Odds is what most people think about the fight, and odds would never like.

as you can see,

Can we compare SMB with the Lakers? hahaha  Wink are they going to have that same fate? Good in the paper but not in an actual game.
Maybe because we all got burned on this game. haha.

I'm sure everyone was on SMB -2.5, but look what happened, looks like they are the ones who are the underdog. Now, maybe the management has already realized that trading the veterans like Cabagnot and Santos was really a bad move.
2393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 17, 2022, 09:52:30 PM
Do I think the Nets probably got the better end of this deal?  Yes.  Do I think that making this deal made the 76ers better?  Yes.  So it seems like a win-win to me.

Obviously, it's a win-win situation for both teams as both of them wants to get rid of the player they traded, particularly Harden and Simmons.

Though Simmons has not played yet Seth Curry and Drummond were already a big help for the team, however, they'll only become a championship team if they'll be complete, which means Irving has to play every game which is not possible for him now.
2394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 17, 2022, 09:16:24 PM

I'm glad we are on the same boat, let's get this one

Anyway, moving on to the scheduled games tomorrow, we have two games, and here are the betting odds.
SMB only -2.5 for a 1.81 odds, maybe you can increase that to -3.5 for betting odds.

you can also see the full odds here https://stake.com/sports/basketball

It's also good to parlay both SMB franchise, most likely you can get a double with your initial bet. Both teams show as favorite and have that good chance of winning, though inside this league there are many incidents that favorite losses the game, just like how Aces beats NLEX not sure though if Phoenix can do that same outcome.

Magnolia seems to be a well organized and balance team. Whoever inside has the capabilities to provide and act for their roles.

You can bet now or wait for the live games and see if there's good changes from the ongoing odds.

For me, I'd rather bet on the spread than parlay a bet on ML.

The parlay would only result to =2.1543=,, not so attractive on my side, so instead, I'll go for SMB -3.5 and hope they'll dominate the Meralco in this game.
2395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Alts Follows Bitcoin's Fall? on: March 17, 2022, 02:52:51 PM
When bitcoin rises, the altcoins keep the price and if when the bitcoin falls the altcoins fall even more. Why do altcoins usually follow bitcoin?
Well, I guess not all the time, not all altcoins then follow the trend but some do the opposite.

https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2022/03/10/market-wrap-bitcoin-stuck-below-40k-altcoins-see-less-selling-pressure/

I figure this new sentiment in the market and some altcoins are moving in the opposite direction. And this is because not all projects are relying on Bitcoin and not all investors also had focusing on Bitcoin alone.

In some cases, some investors diversify their portfolio into altcoins once Bitcoin prices fall making altcoins spike.
2396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1$ per day crypto investment plan any good ? on: March 17, 2022, 02:12:53 PM
Is 1$ investment in crypto every day enough? I'm making up to 10$ per day and I don't want something that will tie me down financially since I have other things I'm using the money for aka responsibilities so all I can afford is 1$ per day, also is BTC the best option with this 1$ per day?
$1 per day? I suggest for you to keep that $1 until it reaches $100.
I know investing is a good plan but must it consist of a good strategy as well. Imagine spending $1 per day for investment and then paying more than $1 for the transaction, I don't think that was really good.

Timing and Capital are somewhat we consider upon investing. We don't need to push ourselves if we don't have enough to start. You don't need to do that for the sake of investment as surely there is a perfect time for you to begin with. Save you $1 per day, friendly advice.
2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 16, 2022, 02:20:13 PM
I’m one with the bettors that trap on 76ers bet against Denver Nuggets. Nuggets seems weak base on there previous match since they are beaten by Warriors and Raptors back to back so I assume that this will be an easy game for Phily since they have Embiid plus Harden in there roster. But no expect that the bench players of Nuggets will kill them since they contribute a lot of points to cover there starter players rest. 4 point behind is not that bad for 76ers since Nuggets just got lucky on there bench players accuracy today.

You got it wrong.. Nuggets is not a weak team, they have a 7-3 win-loss record in the last 10 games and Jokic is playing an exceptional basketball and most likely would win a back-to-back regular season MVP. It's a match up between two favorite MVPs this season, and Jokic won that battle.
2398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 16, 2022, 01:41:22 PM

By the way Durant and Irving is very strong duo and one of the best in this season. I excited to see them fight Suns or GSWand see if they still perform like this.

This duo too is always getting injured in the playoffs base on there recent playoffs appearance in both GSW and Cavaliers. No doubt they are good in terms of scoring and assist but there team is nothing if they are gone unlike other teams that has a strong bench players to cover them in case there starter player is out of the game for rest. The best example here are GSW and Suns current roster, They have a lot of good bench players that can be replace the starter 5 in case they are out of the game and they are not fully relying on them if they need score except when star players is on clutch time.

Not for Durant, maybe Irving. But, this duo still makes a team a championship team and we should just hope that they'll be healthy this coming playoffs. You know, when one of them gets injured, that would result in a lower chance of winning, just like last playoffs when Irving was injured, Nets loss to the Bucks in the ECF.

They'll remain as one of my favorites to win a championship this season despite the fact that both players have been injury-prone.
2399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: where are these cryptos going;!!! on: March 16, 2022, 12:58:25 PM

Are cryptocurrencies losing their appeal? Where do you see which important crypto money in the future? How do you interpret the sudden fall of cryptocurrencies? Apart from BNB, SOL, BTC, ETH, do you think there are other cryptos that can be popular?
That is certainly possible. We can't disclose that even from these new projects possible one or two of them will gain trust from the investors and grow like those coins you have mentioned. We can assume that apart from these coins as you have mentioned, the rest are scams or shitcoins. Because I still believe that there are more projects yet to come and even the old one that has market potential.
2400  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What newbies first crypto step should be on: March 16, 2022, 06:58:06 AM
Every newbies first investment plan is buying coins and tokens but imagine how better things will be if they can change that to buying hardware wallet first, Ledger nano s is 40$ while nano X is 149$, I know some will say it's too pricey, how pricey can it be when you lose all your BTC or other coins? Consider hardware wallet as your first crypto investment step.
Hardware wallet as a first investment? No, that is absolutely wrong and this is only the least priority. What we should have to do first is all about learning, to fully understand how the market works and its uses, these gonna our ticket to survive.

- Learning ( reading, watching tutorials)
- Investment plan (short-term, long-term)
- Preferred coins
- capital
- wallet [ offline(hardware wallet), on-line wallet]
