2081  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies and their Bounty scams on: June 09, 2022, 01:40:22 PM
There are too many to mention I guess OP but this is really the fact, everyone is welcome and they are also welcome to make business here. It is up to us if we make a deal and joined their bounties as perhaps it was our own discretion, we can decline and ignore them if we like. But because many are greedy, they eventually make this forum a tool to scam these greedy individuals. We have been in battling this for many years, however, it found no solution to totally stop them,  they still exist and they can still scam people despite the awareness.
2082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will we see the destruction of ETH anytime soon? on: June 08, 2022, 11:50:06 PM
High gas fees, reduced popularity of DEFI, rapid decline of TVL on the chain, distrust of ETH2.0, criticism from miners, and restrictions on participants by the POS mechanism. Will the challenges of new technologies and new public chains cause ETH to decline rapidly?
This has become an issue for many years after the last Bullrun 2016-2017 and yet, ETH is still alive and kicking, in fact, it is still a highly recommended altcoin for investment.

You can't assume that thing OP as people had never lost their hand from investing ETH despite of its high gas fee. Even to see there are more new projects that are coming they are way far in terms of market appreciation and profitability. And aside from that, ETH has a big role in the market making this more important than these new projects.
2083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 08, 2022, 01:40:11 PM
We'll see it tomorrow and we know that this time if Warriors will be the consistent one.

I'm not concerned about Thompson to be honest because he is doing great on defense, yes, his shooting is not good, he is struggling but as long as he continues building his confidence, he will surely find his rhythm in a game. We are now in game 3, a different atmosphere for the Warriors, so it's a challenge for them if they can beat the Celtics on the road.

Let's see what will happen in game 3, I guess the majority are expecting the Warriors to win, so if the Warriors will fail then maybe the discussion will favor the Celtics which is the home team and I already expect that people will stay Celtics are not a good home team. LOL.

Anyway, let's just enjoy the game tomorrow, have a good sleep, and watch the game in the morning because that's what I'm going to do.
2084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 08, 2022, 01:16:40 PM

That's what Golden State defense is underrated, we always talk about their supposedly offensive firepower. But we seldom talk about their defensive prowess as well. Steph has improved a lot this year, his body is built to play inside now, get rebounds and play solid defense. Remember how he stole the ball from Ja Morant? And then we also have Klay Thompson who is also a good defender, and then Wiggins developed into one, Draymond is Draymond, and Looney not to block but to change the shot when someone is penetrating. Of course, Gary Payton's hand is quick, Otto Porter is another one (although he is injured). Poole as well can guard and so is Lee and Kuminga and Bjelica and Moody. So it's a complete line up.

They are again a good squad who can win another NBA title. They are now adjusting and showing how serious they are,

In bringing the crown back inside chase center. You mentioned all those adjustments and how those players
are contributing right now.

It's not an easy series competing against the best from the East, a young blooded squad who are aiming to bring
the franchise back into a championship team.

That's what I like about the Celtics because they are competing against a heavy favorite Warriors team, but I have a feeling that as the series goes longer, it will be the Warriors who wil figure out how to go ahead in the series and eventually win. I like to see a game 7 to be honest, though it lessen my chance to win in the series since I bet on the Warriors, but I still want to see a thrilling outcome.
2085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest mistake in crypto? on: June 07, 2022, 02:45:50 PM
Committing mistakes is found to be natural as nothing is made perfect.
But what I see from the situation, this even makes us more aware of what we are doing and it even helps us to be better. Committing mistakes helps us to understand and have a clear view of how volatile is a crypto market that most of us have been just underestimating. This serves as a teacher and guides us in the right direction as we are now avoiding it to happen again.
2086  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason Why People(Mostly Newbies) Fall Victim To Scams Easily. on: June 07, 2022, 02:25:06 PM
Perhaps, getting scammed was not new and it is not only happening in crypto but also on other platforms. Think that this thing really exists in real-world and many people had fallen into them, and become a victim because of some reasons like;
 * greediness
 * stupidity
 * lack of awareness

I'm not sure if being a newbie is an excuse because it wasn't right. I don't make myself even saying that because it was our responsibility to make sure that we are investing in the right project and dealing with the right person.
2087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 07, 2022, 01:57:20 PM
Warriors equalized the series as I expected and I was very confident about it. Warriors are a really predictable team in some specific games. For example, they started this series really badly but I knew that they were going to atone for it right away in the second game. They did this by a huge performance too and Celtics were helpless against them in the first three quarters. They were able to decrease the gap by only four points in the last quarter and had no choice other than submitting to them at the end.
It looks like they are still gonna defend that title favorite for this year's NBA title. The thing is, will they beat them on the Celtics homecourt? During the regular season they got a 28/13 during their home games and 5/4 this playoffs. That's still 50%+ advantage for them this playoffs to win on their homecourt while 3/4 win for GSW on the road. That should be noted I guess.
Forget about the past events, this is the finals and it's very unpredictable. We can based on the game 1 outcome, we thought that the Warriors will not lose game 1 because they have not lose a home court game in the playoffs so far, but the Celtics surprise them in the 4th quarter and have dominated them clearly.

now, Warriors are on the road, we know they are a good team so they have a chance to steal one game on the road, not sure which game it is.
2088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 07, 2022, 01:27:41 PM
What a monster! Naoya Inoue just stunned Nonito Donaire of their remath. A rough fight for Donaire, time has caught him but nothing to be ashamed of the fight. We're still proud of you Kabayan!

Don't expect the match between Naoya Inoue vs Jayson Casimero , this will be just a dream match like KhabibNurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson.

If Casimero didn't break the weight loss rules, the two will fight for the title of Undisputed Champion.
Truly a monster!

Round 1 Donaire fell and on round 2, Inoue saw the opportunity that there's no time needed to waste. Speaking of Casimero, is there any way that an Inoue and Casimero match will happen?

We all know that the next possible match will be Butler and Inoue. Aside from that, any possible scenario that Casimero and Inoue can face in the ring soon?

I hope that will happen so there's no more doubt that Inoue is dodging Casimero. With this performance in this fight, I can say that he can beat Casimero, but of course, we still want to see them fighthing in the ring. I hope Inoue will give Casimero an opportunity to fight him, for sure it's a kind of fight that people wants to see as well.
2089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Modernizing old projects on: June 06, 2022, 10:12:03 PM
Project fails because:
1: team failed to follow the whitepaper
2: a member of the team harms the project development process by making an exit scam
3: external attack from hackers
4: bad market forces etc,

Too many reasons why they fail but there is only one legit reason why got to that situation and that is because they are just scams. Of course, they will tell these things, bla bla blaaa but people will ignore it as they are aware of what really happened to them. Many projects have been created for no specific reason, no use case, questionable developers, transparency - they promise good for the investors but in the long run they will just go and not be active anymore.

There is no need for such transformation, what they need is to develop a project that is usable and has a contribution to the community.
2090  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sideways huh! on: June 06, 2022, 09:34:52 PM

I cant blame them though yet positioning is hard but you could actually make profits out of these movements yet 1-2k increments movement isnt a bad idea for you to scalp.
Somehow it isnt for everybody on doing something like this and thats why outcome would really vary.
It wasn't hard if you are an expert or if you have been doing this many times. Of course, a 1-2k increment is big enough for a smart trader to make a profit but for these newcomers, that is absolutely hard for them, and I don't suggest taking that option either.
Thus, if we are not really good at trading and like to say we are just about to start learning about it, holding is the best option for now. Otherwise, making the chance of losing is high which I believe is not what we want to happen.
2091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 04, 2022, 09:48:31 PM
People, including me, thought Warriors were just much more experienced and Celtics are coming to finals when they are much more tired. But that amazing fourth quarter proved almost everyone wrong. What an amazing period of basketball Celtics had. They stopped Warriors and even without their biggest star on paper(Tatum didn't contribute so much) they had the 40 points fourth quarter on the NBA finals and in away game. How legendary was that. Celtics seriously spiced up the NBA for me in this playoffs. Huge respect.

Big respect to them, they are a legit contender for the NBA Championship, though the Warriors have the experience, it doesn't matter to the Celtics because they are hungry to win the championship this season. Yeah, Tatum had an off night, but that does not make the Celtics off, they just find the hot man and that was Horford and everything goes well for them.

I bet Horford won't be able to do that again, the defense will also be focused on him in game 2 and at the same time, they will still continue to do a great job on Tatum. Well, on some games in the past series, Tatum had a bad 1 game but also bounce back in the 2nd game, so game 2 is very unpredictable, what I only believe is that the Warriors will try to come back.
2092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 04, 2022, 01:32:18 PM
Horford had a huge contribution to Celtics' win last night for certain. I haven't seen him being this much effective as for scoring three pointers for a long time period until this game. I like this about Celtics very much because they are playing very good as a team. When the main scorers have a poor day there are another alternative players to contribute more than they do normally. Actually it started to be the same for Warriors too but they lost this game because of a serious decrease in their performance in the fourth quarter.

They were not able to trade baskets in the 4th quarter. Even if Horford is making 3 point shots, it's very obvious that the defense of the Celtics killed them, look at their scoring per quarter.

1st-32
2nd-22
3rd -38
4th -16
This is the first time that we've seen Warriors not making a huge points in the 4th quarter. Usually that is their strong suit, winning the 3rd and 4th. But this time, they were outscored in the last even though they have a good lead entering the 4th quarter. This might cause an alarm from Steve Kerr, but knowing that they are ex-champions and knows where to rise, for sure they wanted to bounce back in game 2 because it is going to be in their backyard.

Yes, but it's not the first time the Warriors were dominated in a game.

Have you forgotten already when the Memphis beat The Warriors 95-134.?
It was probably their biggest loss in the playoffs

Scores
1st 28-38 MEM
2nd 22 -39 MEM
3rd 17-42 MEM
4th 28-15 MEM
2093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 04, 2022, 01:09:48 PM

We never know, but although I like the Boston Celtics, I still think that the Warriors will take game 2 as this series will be boring if the Warriors their 2 home games. They have plenty of time to watch the tape, with that plenty of time, they can device a plan and make the right adjustment in game 2.

I agree with that, this is a no brainer, Warriors will win and will cover the spread.

Warriors are still the public play, but whatever, I would keep it simple, they need to win to even the series and has to win by a good margin, at least 10 points should be good enough, and they should not allow to melt in the 4th quarter.

I think everyone is riding with the Warriors again, but I also believe that some people might be tempted to put an ML bet on the Boston Celtics because they beat the Warriors in game 1 and it's possible that they could do it again.

After that loss in game 1, I don't think they will still ride with the Warriors. What if Boston will start strong, they are good in the first half during the Miami Heat series, so they can still do it against the Warriors. Thing is, the pressure is not on them anymore as they already steal one game at home, and it happened in game 1.
2094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 04, 2022, 12:43:54 PM

I think it the odds are still the same in Game 2 for the Celtics.
No, the odds are different in game 2.

Game 1 - Warriors -3.5
Game 2 - Warriors -4.5

That odds tells that Warriors will likely win game 2, it's a must-win for them and for sure they'll cover that spread if their defense will not collapse.

Now I can't remember which sections on this forum publish bounties and air drops. So please educate me about places that I can grab them in this forum and out side as well. I really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance[/color]
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0 This will address you to the Bounties section. Yes, you can see a lot of bounties there but then, never expect that it was similar to 2017 airdrops and bounties will some of them give you such surprising amounts. And please never thing that you can make money from them easily, it is somehow you need time and effort to see legit and promising bounties that will give a decent rewards as we can't deny that majority of them are worthless and scammy.
2096  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TA or FA which is a better choice for market speculation. on: June 04, 2022, 11:21:02 AM
Depends on what you studying really. There is entirely different perspective to bitcoin TA and altcoin TA. I mean it’s very obvious bitcoin gives you whole new trading patterns all the time while altcoin will always follow bitcoin path. For alts its fact and fundamentals that they depend on bitcoin a lot. So many times it’s possible to forecast altcoins next move if you have understood bitcoin analysis.
But do not be deceived by this, altcoins are more volatile than bitcoin, there are some things to consider like the leverage used, the liquidation price and knowing that altcoin can fail. When you are trading, the technical analysis you will use for altcoins is different because when the fund you are trading with is not yet liquidated for bitcoin, it might have liquidated for altcoin. The coin used in trading can also bring about loss.
If I use altcoins for trading, I also check Bitcoin's trend. Perhaps, TA and FA are applicable to all coins in the market, however, we mostly put consideration relying upon Bitcoin as we know that altcoins are usually following its trend.  Yeah, we can have these analyses and chart reading but what is very important in a trade is a choice of coins. Why were people lost in trading? That was because this not just works based on TA and FA, but also on how we manage them.
2097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Shiba getting rugged like Luna? on: June 04, 2022, 05:36:26 AM
I actually thought that enough has been said concerning these coins and their expendable attribute. ShibaInu and its founder have proven me right. I find it very hard to comprehend the reason why he would delete all blogs and tweets about ShibaInu. As a meme coin which is it, I am actually not very surprised but I literally never had any interest in the coin, nor do I have an interest for any other ALTCOIN which is not ETH, BNB.

Whether it becomes like Luna and has such a rug pull story, I don't cry and am not worried because I don't have any of this coin, I already sold them early this year. because I was thinking, even though we see some potential with this project but since it was a meme coin, we never think of fund protection.

I've never heard an update from the team already, things that we wonder how this project is going on. Even though I don't have them but I think it was the concern for the holders to know the status and likely to know behind those Twitter post deletions.
2098  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin drops to $8k on: June 03, 2022, 11:24:59 PM
...
Whenever we do go back into those early days price or lets say 2015-2018 then it would really be creating that kind of fear in the entire market on what the hell is happening in the market?

You cant just easily trying out to make out some buybacks into these times which it would really be something hard to be done even if you do have the money or funds then this kind of decision wont really be that simple.

If you could accumulate more that into these levels or points but of course you cant be sure if recovery would be next or totally complete decline.Who knows?
If the price of Bitcoin will drop below $20k, not time people will start to panic and wonder what really happening in the market. It certainly will come out of their mind about the previous bear season when prices drop almost to the ground. But, I don't think that will come, not this time as people had already had to learn to be patient and hold, they now appreciate how holding saves them from losing their money rather than selling it at a lower price.

2018-2019 is just a history, people make use of it as a mirror to what they have done during that time and they figured out their wrongdoings. For now, it was quite good to see the view of the market as, despite the war and FUDs, we've still in a healthy market condition.
2099  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding my horses for now on: June 03, 2022, 10:56:07 PM
Is buying bitcoin right now the same with buying later? I stopped buying because it looks like Bitcoin dips isn't over, imagine buying at 19k per Bitcoin, I think the whole idea of investment is when you are buying not running after the best coins in the market, buying them cheap is better or I don't get it?.
The concept of investing is buying at cheap conditions, this is in line with the current market conditions in crypto, if you say that buying now or later has the same thing, it is wrong according to my understanding. The difference is very clear, that if we buy bitcoin at cheap conditions, we will get a large return when bitcoin conditions return to normal, compared to buying bitcoin at normal and stable price conditions, try to pay attention to market movements against bitcoin

That is why it is very important for us to know how to assess the market situation and do chart reading because in this way we have some idea of when will be the best time to buy crypto and the time of selling. It was indeed people had missed a lot. They simply think that buying at any time will give them a good and desirable profit which actually a wrong perception. The more we understand the market and how it works, the more we know when I'm going to invest. Earning a profit from here varies from when we buy and sell them.
2100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins bring a lot of big profits on: June 03, 2022, 10:23:57 PM
What are your goals when investing in new coins? Did you get a huge profit from the new coins? Can you recommend a new coin worth investing besides LUNA?
Ohh, sadly, it is too to find new coins that are worth investing in. Never think that shitcoins will give you that "BIG Profit" but what possibly you will get is "Big LOSSES".

I can't recommend any from their group but what I can recommend to you is just to invest old coins and on the top listed (top 20). They have been known for their market potential and this is the basis we need to invest in, not because it was promoted online or someone been influential as it will give you losses only.

BTC, ETH, BNB...
