2361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect Bullrun this year again! on: March 26, 2022, 08:03:38 AM
I'm not going to say he is wrong, speculations can be right, and besides, talking back while Bitcoin is $1 long years ago, nobody believes this will reach $10k, but somehow, we even reach $60k in the right time.

While saying Bitcoin will reach $350k, almost everyone reacted it was impossible, it was unrealistic but I'd never find it wrong nor make a conclusion. What went wrong with this is He mentioned a year that makes it unrealistic.

Of course, he is bullish, anyone can be like that. It sounds unbelievable, however, we can't ignore any possibilities.
2362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Hoard Bitcoin? on: March 26, 2022, 07:39:58 AM
To understand the functions of Bitcoin we must, first of all, know what Bitcoin is, and how it works.

Bitcoin is not just a currency for exchange but also an asset for holding this is why Bitcoin is referred to as the digital gold, in as much as we use Bitcoin to do our daily transactions if Bitcoin is held for a long time its value appreciate bit Bitcoin can never replace fiat currency and will only perform the alternative function.
Well, everyone who has been here knows exactly the purpose of having Bitcoin but those who don't understand this will certainly ask why? Why people are buying and holding which in fact this considered an alternative currency. Well, I appreciate it if those people who held their Bitcoin for many years understood the purpose of doing this. We think of returns but most of all, we help the faster adoption that holding isn't helping it, we instead use this to buy stuff and even to pay bills. In this way, many establishments will then be able to offer such payment options other than fiat.
2363  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you share your key to your family? on: March 25, 2022, 11:56:59 PM
We can't escape death and we don't know when we die... Crypto wallets aren't like traditional investments. They can be more vulnerable to security issues, and you generally can't name a beneficiary. Since we need to store our crypto to offline wallet or hardware wallet and we must store safely and secure our keys offline, did you already share your key to your family? Do you have any tips to make a good plan to your crypto assets for loved ones just in case when you die?
Getting involved with your family is very important and I think it was their right to know everything we do like knowing access to our crypto wallets. This will not affect and breach the security of our wallet unless they will touch it unknowingly without our permission. Giving them time to know about crypto and to know how to take care of this helps them to understand why.

We don't need to hide from them and they need to know how this crypto works, and they can do the job if ever there is bad to happen with us. Well, working together is a great success.
2364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting more skills in trading on: March 25, 2022, 11:27:54 PM

The more I lose I believe made me think of learning more and be cautious of the pattern of the candles sticks and what the indicators do before the bull goes off and when the crash could possibly begin.

That should be going. Losing more become a warning that we are not effective anymore and our strategies aren't working great. Tracing back where we are wrong kinda be a good strategy to help things went good and get back on track. As the market changes, the possibility that our strategies become obsolete and we need to improve and develop another which might fit the current situation. And this is the reason why we don't have to stop learning, otherwise, we can't adopt the changes.
2365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest in new project? on: March 25, 2022, 11:07:27 PM
There is always a good interest in new projects as most of them got in hypes which make investors gain a profit instantly. Having this scenario is quite obvious that investors taking the risk of hyping projects rather than investing in old projects.

And the question asking "should I invest in new projects?" That certainly depends on us but for me, I decide unless I saw some hope in the project. One thing I looked at on the project is if there is a chance that this project will pump. Investing in hyped projects seems too risky but we even believe that we can make huge rewards from them, only we have to be smart and do the sell immediately if there is a spike.
2366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Assumptions of People who don't know about bitcoin... Ki on: March 25, 2022, 10:15:10 PM
To add to Bitcoin is a bubble and Bitcoin is used for crimes, there are also:

-snip-
It is not just only those who hate cryptocurrencies, even people who do not understand Bitcoin do make such statements as well. Especially the one that Bitcoin is a Ponzi, I have seen a lot of people who have no idea of what Bitcoin is all about make that statement that Bitcoin is a Ponzi and a scam.

In fact, that is always the word that is mainly being used by people who do not know anything about Bitcoin, and it is not because they hate Bitcoin, it is simply that they have no idea of what Bitcoin is all about so they tend to say that it is a Ponzi.

Because, that’s what it looks like to them. As for those who say that Bitcoin mining is harmful to the environment, those are the ones who I would say are making such a statement because they hate Bitcoin. That is clear hatred, and they are trying to do anything possible to bring it down, but it wouldn’t work.
People got mistakes and even believing false information because they have no knowledge on the subject (Bitcoin). The more they listen to the news, social media influencers, the more they bring misconceptions toward crypto. I respect their opinion as we know they don't have an idea about Bitcoin but to insist that they are right, is absolutely wrong. We can no longer hear positive responses from these negative people and even those who have a lack of knowledge but instead hearing from them a sort of criticism and misconceptions.
2367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Hafthor Bjornsson vs. Eddie Hall - 19.3. on: March 25, 2022, 09:31:56 PM
Obviously, I'll go with Thor here.

Eddie Hall has not won a single fight since 2000 if the information below is correct.
https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/1485

I have not followed these boxers, but I like to see heavyweights now because of the Fury and Wilder rivalry.
The match is over already, and Thor won the match via unanimous decision.
I didn’t watch the match but as per comments here, they are both exhausted on the early round and fortunately Thor was able to hold his breathe until the last round to get the title. Heavyweights are getting much attention now because of great players, I wish to see a rematch so I can place my bet as well early.

Lol, @Vaculin must have missed this fight. OP should have posted this thread early so we could have made a long discussion before the fight, most of us here could have bet the fight and probably won as the majority are thinking Thor would win.
2368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 25, 2022, 09:10:19 PM
These players are the speculated target players of the Converge Team.

They choose Jeron Teng as their main player and will do their best to surround him with good teammates. I just don't know how they can possibly sign these players:

RJ Jazul
Jamie Malonzo
Matthew Wright
Mo Tautaa
Javee Mocon
Greg Slaughter
Rashawn McCarthy
Troy Rosario
Isaac Go

From this list, I think  Greg Slaughter is the only possible player that they can sign.
Converge bows to have a better players, so for sure they’ll do their best to get those best players most probably to offer big so they can established a great team. Maybe, some of the players of Alaska will also play in converge, most of the players on the list are ok, as long as they have the money they can catch big players who are still not in contract with other teams.

The fact that the converge are looking for players to be added to the roster, means they are not contented with the current roster and maybe some will be absorbed while others will be let go. They are like employees from a company that is bought by a new owner, the feeling should be scary as some will lose their job as expected.
2369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 24, 2022, 09:56:48 PM
Betting odds for tomorrow's game is now out in the market.

Ginebra -4.5
Magnolia -3.5...

I'm just wondering why Magnolia is only -3.5 after a dominant performance in the first game.
Are we going to see a trap here?

With Japeth down, i think a 4.5 HC is just too high for Ginebra and they might not cover this one or they might lose the game so for bettors just be careful as Ginebra is too unpredictable in the elimination, they might relax this game two so with that I'll go with live betting.

For Magnolia, I'll go with their opponent as I see this as a see-saw battle. Bishop is a good import, they can't be swept.

That's right, if we would like to bet against Ginebra, this is the best chance because it's the first game this series they'll miss Japeth so adjustment has to be made. Not only that 4.5 is high to cover, Ginebra could possibly loss this game if they cannot replace a good defender inside.
2370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 24, 2022, 09:39:20 PM

I just check one sport bookies and I don't see the odds for a KO before round 10 or a UD results. It's just the ML and obviously Spence is still the heavy favorite to win. Maybe when we see more odds we can say if bookies will favor a KO or a UD. And if it is a good odds then why not take it?

We will probably have that kind of odds by April next month.
For now, we can only see the moneyline odds as we can see here - https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/boxing/international/international-matchups/spence-errol-vs-ugas-yordenis-620ca5f0d7d8928580f63be3

Spence 1.20
Ugas 4.10
2371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra projects are looking solid on: March 24, 2022, 02:30:58 PM
there is no need to question the fundamentals of Terra Luna, because it has been proven that this coin or this project is able to be in the top 10 coinmarketcap, and it seems that investors are also starting to come to this project, of course the more solid the project, the higher the price of the coin, I also bought Terra Luna when it was $50, and I haven't sold it yet.
You really have the trust in this project. Well, you seem right with your decision as Tera Luna shows something interesting. Though I'm not yet investing them, however, it was included on my watchlist, sooner or later, I'll be putting some money on this. Did I miss the opportunity already? Well, I hope not, I just wait for the market to move a little bit.

And If ever I invest in this project, I'm not even sure if I would hold it longer, kinda be preferred for short-term investment.

2372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which two coins should I add to my portfolio? on: March 24, 2022, 01:13:40 PM
Putting myself into your position, I'd choose Polkadot and ChainLink.
I'm not just seeing their profit potentials but also their market roles which we could think that these projects will grow and exist long-term.

https://www.coinbase.com/price/polkadot
https://coincodex.com/crypto/chainlink/price-prediction/

Though it is shown that their prices went down, however, that is also because of the market situation. This is not just our basis coz I believe that these coins will recover as well when Bitcoin rallies back high.

2373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: An advice for newbies and plebs on: March 23, 2022, 11:19:45 PM
snipped...

Well, 2024 is the year of halving, and like always the year after halvings we had some pretty nice bull runs that led to new price records! I believe that history will repeat itself once again, so I completely agree with you that people should start accumulating if they didn't already! This and the next year will be tricky ones, I guess we will see some lower levels and dips, people need to stay strong, and instead of selling people should try to buy these dips! Sometimes it's hard to stay strong, but that's the cycle we need to pass and I think most of us already know what is the best thing to do in these times!
Well, I guess everyone is somewhat excited for the upcoming halving as certainly it thinks that ATH is possible. But we don't have to wait that moment then, investing it now is a good opportunity given the market for us. The price is low, 2-3 years from the ATH show up as it happens in the previous halving.
Therefore, I suggest newbies start accumulating now as this never happens again once the market started to rally. Precisely, we don't need to wait for the price of Bitcoin will reach $50k.
2374  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: March 23, 2022, 12:55:13 PM
Therefore, it is preferable to do confirmation by e-mail.  And it would be nice if the BK8 devs began to take this into account and make such an option without the need to use a mobile phone.

That would be easier, however, if their provider does not allow that, then we have no choice but to stay away from the site if we could not verify our account. Definitely, the numbers that are on display in the registration dropdown are only those countries that are allowed to gamble.
2375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 23, 2022, 12:33:18 PM
Ginebra won the game, it's 1-0 now.. I was scared a bit when NLEX got the lead, I thought Ginebra will lose tonight, but good thing they didn't disappoint me. All favorites win and covered tonight, nice game by Thompson again, another double double and Tenorio also had a big contribution.

I won't mention Brownlee anymore since we know he would always lead the team to win.

86-95 Final score.

The captain gets the player of the game, LA Tenorio had a good game and Ginebra took control in the last few minutes of the game. I hope to see a more competitive game 2, I don't want to see a swept by Ginebra in this series because I feel it will make the fans board.  Grin

In the first game, Lee, Abueva, and Jalalon led the local, and their import also scored 26 points while the import of Meralco only scored 10 points.
2376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gas Fee is too High? on: March 22, 2022, 11:36:16 PM

Let me clarify first, I don't have any technical knowledge, but as per my research, I got some information regarding etherum's high fees. First, it depends on the demands of users and how much users are sending or transferring funds through the Ethereum network. Actually, because of the ethereum network, lots of new projects are being built on the networks and they are transferring through the network.
Well, you are right, heavy traffic may cause gas fee increase but we are in this situation for many years which is not normal anymore or this really be the thing now? Mr. Vitalik didn't take action to lower the fees, it seems like he also preferred for this situation to turn like this. And I really think that we don't need to out this hard, in fact, we have other options like BSC and Polygon platforms where we can save some fees. As I believe that there is no way to help it down coz even the developers do nothing about this.
2377  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 22, 2022, 02:05:36 PM

Honestly if Jake Paul is confirmed to meet in the ring with McGregor, I will bet on McGregor, no matter how many dollars I have to spend, the bottom line: win and lose my dollars I will spend on McGregor.

Same here, Jake Paul is still undefeated and his record is very important to him. Speaking of Mayweather, fighting him would bring big money but Jake Paul has to sacrifice his undefeated record and that's not gonna happen.

Jake Paul is a good boxer, although I like McGregor to win but I have a feeling that it won't be an easy fight for him, if he wins, it would only be on points.
2378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 22, 2022, 01:42:48 PM
Well, just another news that came in. It's Dennis Uy of Converge that has bought the franchise of Alaska and we're probably now going to see Converge franchise on the league for the next conference. Here's the breakdown on how much the deal was.
We have 2 new teams coming into the next conference already. The EASL and the Converge.

Well, there have been some rumors already that they are the top runners in buying the franchise of Alaska back when the Alaska company said that they will sell their franchise and now it became true. The question right now that comes into my mind is that, the Aces have been an independent team for 3 decades since it started. Will the Converge team be an independent team or it will also join in either MVP or SMC.
If other billionaire bought the franchise of Alaska, I believe he is capable to be more independent and there's no reason for them to join MVP group of companies because they are really different. He wont buy the franchise if there's no money here, he's looking for a long term benefit of this one so we can expect a more competitive tournament. Let's not hope new teams to join other group of companies to avoid suspicion and to have a healthy league. Looks like Alaska won't be an Alaska team anymore, it will be changed for sure.
Exactly, it's good exposure for Converge because they are really competing very well now. The telcos we know are the smart, pldt, and globe only, some of us doesn't know that there's converge which is also a big company. Instead of paying for advertisement, buying a team may give them more benefit in the long run.
2379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey of a successful trader on: March 19, 2022, 08:51:34 PM
Learning is the most important thing for every trader to be successful, We get familiar with trading by learning. The problem many trader are having in trading is because they lack patience to learn, for one to earn in trading it is very important that learning must take place. Trading strategies changes with time and its with learning it can benefits anyone.
It is everyone's goal to succeed but unfortunately, not all are wanted to learn and even sacrifice their time on the market. The lack of patience and motivation helps nothing for us but instead, this will brings us to a losing end.

Correcting mistakes is a part of learning, people had changed their strategies as often as possible depending on the market situation which I believe was a good technique. And it is very important to become more aggressive upon learning as this will boost us to learn more rather than just stay low.
2380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT Tokens a Good Long Term Investments? on: March 19, 2022, 02:44:59 PM
Recently I recieved many airdropped from new projects of NFT tokens, Some are in good prices
like BAY and XPUNK, but many other NFT tokens are falling and rugged. But I know mostly of NFTs are based on hyped project,
and no one knows what will be the future of them.
Is it better to trade NFT tokens rather than holding it for longterm?
There are a few NFT tokens that are worth investing, however, holding them so long couldn't be the guarantee to make more profit. In the case of seeing the sentiment that NFTs are just falling down slowly, we'd rather trade it before it goes down.

Yes, NFT projects are made in a hype. We first see them at a high price which is eventually worth trying but unfortunately, they are not looking good this time seeing them decline, and the majority of these projects become scammy.
