1861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 19, 2022, 05:12:44 AM

So regardless of what school he chooses, it's up to him and just like you said, his father is very supportive of his sons and he only want the best for them.

That's the most important thing, we already have Lebron James his father who is going to be a hall of Famer soon, so it's enough to have one in the family. Well, as long as he would just enjoy basketball and let things come around, I mean no pressure, then maybe one day we will see Bronny playing in the NBA and Lebron would be happy cheering for his son.

LeBron had enough pressure when he was still in highschool as there was already a lot of offer for him even before he set foot in the NBA. A lot people expect him not being a bust and he did live up to the hype.
Now, IMO as much as Bronny enjoys the game of basketball, but it is inevitable not to feel pressure when your father is one of the best to ever play in basketball. People expect him to be as good if not better than his father LeBron.
Bronny must not only develop his physical basketball skills, but also his basketball IQ.

He must, but even if he will improve, he will not be as good as his father. Lebron when he entered in the NBA, he was already playing like a superstar, but due to lack of experience, he has not won a championship until he joined the Heat. So for Bronny, I think being an NBA player and playing for years would already be a big achievement.
1862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT and what to buy now? on: August 18, 2022, 11:23:45 PM
In my opinion if this time NFT was not become the right investment. It's better if you are holding your bitcoin or convert into the utility token. NFT hype has gone and its floor was decreasing a lot. You shall try to analyze what happened with market. Bitcoin is always bouncing back again but it seems like that achieving 26k rate would be an impossible thing for sure. Im sure about that. In my opinion if you must also aware about that.
NFT "was" a good investment and I do believe that it will become a good one again in the near future as well. People are using them right now to build projects that could get better. Back in the day they only sold images, now they realize that NFT could be used for gaming, which is getting a ton ore popular, and we are going to see a lot more stuff as well.

That means in the near future when the bull run comes again, and price breaks ATH again, then we are going to see all of these improvements on NFT world come to light with brand new projects and people will have excess profit from the bull run to spend on these projects for sure, it will definitely be something great.
Well, I'd just hope that many of them are worth something in the future when there is another set of projects sprouting again. But as I can see these projects are unlikely not to stay long, in fact, NFT gaming is already down. Not that I think it was because of the current situation but it was clear to us that those who come in hypes haven't stayed long and they were gone.
Honestly, I couldn't expect much from them, and for me, they are not a good investment especially if we are aiming for the long term.
1863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 18, 2022, 09:38:01 AM
That is a big possibility for them to have a rematch clause and I guess it's good to include it. Right, the rematch could be very much different, purse split, revenue gates and others.

And it's just we are thinking what keep the fight? they have the date in November, and with this kind of  magnitude, they can get any venue they can get in the America. Last Vegas, Atlantic City anything that has a gambling and huge casino because come fight night there will be a lot of whales who is going to watch and obviously will gamble in any hotel casinos.

Agreed to this so that the rematch will not suffer any dispute on profit sharing if they will already set the distribution in advance just to secured the next fight for this undisputed fight. I’m sure there will be an issue on profit sharing especially for the winner of this fight since he will demand more since he prove himself. This might cause a lot of trouble to finalize if the winner will demand huge share that other party won’t accept. They should add the rematch clause on the current contract.

I'm sure they already see this possibility, so let's expect that once the contract is sign, they already have the necessary details agreed upon. If what is written in the contract is only a rematch clause, then a trilogy would be another story, and hopefully we will reach at that level in this rivalry.
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: August 18, 2022, 09:14:44 AM
Jerwin is seems a good boxer in Philippines Boxing rematch . Jerwin plying seance 2014 it means 8 years including this year. Although the game has not yet started this year.  But the game is going to start after a couple  months.i think  Jerwin can show a better performance in this year also.

It will be a challenging match for Jerwin Ancajas but also another opportunity for him to prove himself in the ring and establish a good name in the boxing industry. I've watched some of his previous matches and I must say that he has huge potential but we can't deny the fact that Martinez is also a tough boxer.
Jerwin Ancajas is a good name in the Philippine Boxing industry . And I see their potential of winning this time. but Fernando Martinez also a good boxer . Winning with them will also be a tough task . but here also looks like Jerwin Ancajas will win

He was a champion, got dethrone when Martinez beat him, so he is not trying to reclaim his belt, this rematch is a must win for him, otherwise, he cannot be a champion anymore in the same division and he has to move up in weight.
1865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I started business many days ago. Now it's time to accept Crypto as a payment. on: August 17, 2022, 12:51:32 PM

it is the same for me and what I would also hope that we can have some updates on how many people pay with bitcoin and what percentages of the overall customers that is. To me it would not even be bad if it is not a lot, but I would like to see in what countries and what business models bitcoin already works.
Perhaps, we are encouraged to utilize Bitcoin as a form of currency alternative to fiat money and it was glad to see the growing numbers of establishments that started to have this payment option. This action will eventually help to recognize Bitcoin as a currency and it adds to the desire for the community to try using this. Honestly, it was a fail being a currency if we also have not pushed it - I think the adoption seems not too hard as long as everyone will participate and support those who have come out of this.
1866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of privacy coin is not looking good on: August 17, 2022, 12:11:56 PM
looks like the future of privacy coins is bad, I worked for privacy coins two years ago, they are hard to get hype even when the market is positive, but tend to be stable when the market is negative. The community is quite large but has declined over time, due to the complexity of mining and the public's lack of interest in privacy coins.
Of course, they don't as these coins are mostly controlled by some people and the owners themselves. Investing them is not worthy and not even profitable no matter how long you've been holding these coins. They are not bad actually compared to shitcoins but guess what, shitcoins are even more profitable than these coins. That is why if you look for something like earning money, it was not a smart choice to invest in them.
And aside from that, they are prone to any market regulation which we don't like.
1867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: August 17, 2022, 05:49:21 AM
The last time was Manny Pacquiao, wo is supposed to face Spence but suddenly was replace by Ugas and obviously, Manny lost that fight already.

That was not the reason, whoever trained or coach Manny, he would not won in that fight because he said he has cramps on his legs that bothers him in the fight since he cannot use his quickness. Sometimes, boxers losses, it's just up to them how they'll recover from that loss.
1868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 17, 2022, 05:24:18 AM

The odds are still the same, it's already out now, you can check on your bookies.

SMB is -5.5 and the over/under is 190.5.
Moneyline for Meralco is 2.70, that's quite attractive.  Smiley

In the last 3 losses of Meralco, they only covered 1, so if they lose in this game, I think they won't cover the spread. There's a reason why the spread is high, most probably SMB will via in a dominant passion to avenge their losses in game 6. Expect JMF getting plenty of minutes, it's a do or die game, so he would only rest for a while.

I'm also thinking the same but still, we never knew the outcome of the game until it's over. Junemar for sure will play heavy minutes in this game but they still have to manage his minutes properly to avoid being gassed out in the championship minutes in a game 7. I'm also inclined that SMB will win in a convincing manner, CJ Perez must step up and play intelligently tonight.

Boy, this is what i've missed with the old Death Five of SMB, the generalship in the court of Cabagnot and those clutch three's Arwin would make in case Junemar is doubled down low.

This isn't an old SMB team, they have some veterans but they don't have a good point guard and supporting cast like Santos. Well, let's just see the outcome of this game, if SMB will lose, it will be a big disappointment of the fans for sure.
1869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth could take over BTC or not on: August 16, 2022, 02:21:55 PM
With PoS coming and Gas fee finally getting fixed do you think that Ethereum is capable of overtaking bitcoin? Oh also there will be max supply for Ethereum finally too, or is this expectation of mine way too high.
Well, it was good to see how ETH makes such a tremendous price trend nowadays but unfortunately, it was not the thing we consider enough to take over BTC and make the number 1. NO, it was not like that and we know that BTC still dominating the market despite all the dumps, even ETH will have its max supply, high demand, price surge, etc...
We have to accept that ETH remains #2 in the CMC and BTC is on top. Nothing could change of it unless if Bitcoin will die, (but I don't think if there is something left on the market).
1870  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1-5 min scalping on binance is it worth it on: August 16, 2022, 01:12:51 PM
For me, 1-5 scalping looks like a waste of time. If a person want to make trades in such a small time frame, that means he is not experienced or unsure in his decisions. Usually such kind of people dont have big balances and/or impatient. Scalping with small balance is a total waste of time. Person must make tens or hundred of profit trades to feel profit, when a minor mistake can ruin everything. Risk is to high.

I couldn't say it was a waste of time. Some scalpers preferred to use a short time frame as they are comfortable doing this. It is all about strategies because just putting myself into them and I see this is profitable compared to longer time frames, I'd rather use 5 mins instead of waiting 30 mins. That is still a waste of time for me to wait that long and I can't afford to lose any minute without doing anything. And besides, we can't be 24hours in the computer nor doing trading that I leave it to the traders to choose this one or not.
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 16, 2022, 12:06:10 PM
If the is the case, then it might ruin Durant for good, he can still ball no doubt, but if he has that kind of attitude now, I don't know if teams are willing to take a gamble.

Just play if they are really professional, that's what the NBA and the fans are expecting them to be. Not just diva, so he should expect more former players to criticized him in public and maybe some of his defenders can't shield him anymore from detractors.

We don’t know exactly what’s the real story behind Kevin Durant sudden cold feelings against playing in Nets. Even Kyrie demand the same trade offer because there might be something pressuring them or giving a dilemma on playing the Nets. Remember Nets suffer a shameful lose against Boston on the first round of playoffs. Maybe this result is what makes the management pressuring them on whatever is going on behind the scenes on Nets.

Too bad because off there poor performance on the playoffs,There’s no team willing to accept there trade offer because everybody knows how much they are valued right now while there output can’t justify there recent performance result. We know that Durant still got some his moves and still on prime but he has only few years left until the new players can overcome him on the top spot.

Pressure is normal, of course the management wants to see their expectation and it seemed like the Nets are not playing like a championship team. Not only the first round exit, but they also get swept which doesn't look good for a team that is the top favorite to win the championship.

Durant and Irving has to understand the management, they have invested a lot of money, it's just normal for them to ask for some assurance.

1873  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mastering the market movement is what aid profits and not the price. on: August 13, 2022, 01:03:17 PM
As a day trader or a passive trader, most are confused about how to make the best out of the market, and many will always complain of losses during a bear market, meanwhile with the right mastery one can make massive profits in the bear market and this goes further to clarify the fact that market conditions do not have much to.do with your profit maximizing but proper market mastering is what gives profits in whatever market.
More experience leads you to that way about mastering the market behavior and acts upon it. I'm not surprised to hear many complaints about their losses because not all traders are experts, many people jump to trading without any idea what this is all about, and for sure, they landed in the wrong place. And besides, no matter how good we are, even though we all use all the strategies we have, sometimes losses can be possible, and that was the real scenario in trading.

1874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum (ETH) on Its Way to $2,100, Top Trader Says ! on: August 13, 2022, 12:20:13 PM
I think Ethereum could experience a big price spike as some other analysts also assume that basing this prediction on the technical and fundamental analysis of the cryptocurrency. If Redler's target price is seen by Ethereum (ETH) investors as a bit too bullish, his claim that what we're seeing in this market is "amazing," seems right on target especially as Ethereum merges September 15-16.
The merge announcement seems to attract more investors and believers of ETH making the spike in the price shown up. It was not surprising anyway but I never expect a huge pump leaving Bitcoin at low as probably Bitcoin will be able to move as well.
Those who bought ETH at lower prices seem to be excited about what happens next.

Well, as I've checked the CMC now, it looks like the spike were able to continue moving closer to $2,000.
1875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many anonymous whales are there? on: August 13, 2022, 11:37:30 AM
That perhaps they are anonymous, nobody knows them even if it was your friend, he won't tell you either of how much he holds.
And they are afraid to make it in public knowing that the government will after them for sake of taxes and oblige them to do it. They won't do any KYC, keeping their crypto assets remains anonymous and that is actually highly recommended just also to avoid any hacking interest.

I also do the same and keeping quiet seems to be normal in the crypto market.
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 13, 2022, 10:28:23 AM
If they will think of a business,  most likely a game 7 will happen. With that, I think it's good to bet on the underdogs in game 6 and maybe betting a parlay would result to a better payout. What do you think about that idea?

For sure, Meralco ML is still 3.00 while Magnolia is probably 2.40, so that's x7.2.

That is quite tempting, honestly. But I am sure one of the two, SMB or TNT, is looking to finish the series next game. I am sure they do not want to risk it on a Game 7 because if it reaches game 7, it can go either way now.  They may also want to rest a bit before they enter the Finals. So, even if the payout may look good, I don't want to risk it.

No one knows the outcome, if you will risk money, just believe that they will win but always be ready if you lose. Underdog losses most of the time, but if you will take the spread, who knows, right? In this series, Meralco are good in covering the spread, so this do or die game belongs to the Meralco to cover.
1877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 13, 2022, 05:24:44 AM
I agree with the pattern though, that's why he has been criticized so much by some basketball analyst and even former players because he took the easy route, join a team that beat his OKC back them and then win championship with GSW. But when he felt that GSW is still Curry's team and somewhat hurt his ego, try to start his own super team, with Irving and later Harden, but it didn't work and now he want's to leave and try to join other team. His legacy will be affected by this move by Durant for sure.
Yes, exactly! I believe he preferred the easy way to be a champion.
He is an excellent player, that I cannot deny, but I even believe that he may be a little far from being an extremely loyal player to his team (unlike Nowitzki, Duncan, Kobe, Stockton, R. Miller and others, who in my humble opinion were players loyal to their team).

Another thing that crossed my mind is that Durant would like to be a franchise player, or maybe the star player of the team, but that unfortunately didn't happen, not even when he was playing for the SuperSonics/OKC (because he shared the role with Westbrook), also didn't happen when he played for the Warriors or the Nets

I like to watch Durant play, it's extremely rare to see a 7ft tall SF possess a good shot and good ball handling/control like him.

I sincerely hope that he can find a team that he can adapt and also makes history in this new team.

That's up to the Nets because until now he is still in contract with the team, if no trade will happen, then he has to continue playing with the team and wait until his contract will expire so he can choose a team to sign up with. Right now, it's not good for Durant to talk a lot, he just have to wait until the trade will happen and continue to win giving his best.
1878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: August 13, 2022, 05:07:12 AM

I am hoping Teo will lose this fight. But any champions would love to fight either Teo or Garcia because of money. But for the meantime there is only 1 champion in the division, the former undisputed Josh Taylor is giving up his belts in favor of moving up to welterweight.

There's no way Teo would lose this fight, it's his comeback fight after a big lose, so he will never do the same mistake again, in fact, I'm seeing the opposite, Teo will win via KO and that would hype his new in this new division.

As per the odds it's seems the value bet on him, not sure if he can still live up to the hype though.

But I see others predicting that Teo will win by KO so let's see if he can do that. Yes, he is very much capable, but we will see if he will be affected by ring rust. He has been out for more than a year if I'm not mistaken, then go up to 140 lbs. So it might be a very different and rejuvenated Teofimo Lopez that we might see in this fight.

The fight will be tomorrow but the odds are still not available in my bookie, I mean the complete odds or market.

As of now, only the moneyline odds are available, @12 for Campa, that's probably not gonna win, but no way I would put my bet on Teo with 1.03.
1879  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: August 12, 2022, 10:45:40 PM
$100k is too much for this year. I'd see no way to make it reach knowing that we are in this bear condition, in fact, we even hard to reach $30k, too far from the said price.

I know $100k is not impossible in here but that only may happen during the bull season, after halving. People are even preparing for that time to come, that was 2-3 years from now. Many are expecting another ATH that time and another record to break. Yes, we absolutely not to miss that chance and the opportunity now to buy cheap coins.
1880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a crypto that won't depend on BTC anymore on: August 12, 2022, 10:14:07 PM
The majority of investors and traders are increasingly understanding crypto fundamentals before investing, is there any crypto that moves itself according to its fundamentals both now and in the future?
I'd come to that way thinking sometimes but unfortunately, I'd just fail looking at them because the reality is that BTC dominates the market and altcoins are there to follow the trend. You might see some do the rallies, it pumps suprisingly but that because of whales manipulation and it was not for long-term which I think that was we looked for. I see how good to see such project that won't rely on Bitcoin but I think we have to accept that this is how the crypto market works, they stick together and once Bitcoin fall, the entire market will fall as well.
