1741  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips that could help crypto beginners. on: September 24, 2022, 11:14:56 AM
Unfortunately, there are a lot of articles like the one the OP referred to on the Internet. And from here we see so many disillusioned people who invested their money in the hope of becoming millionaires.
I like this remark.
About the disillusioned. Although the OP is trying to help crypto beginners but I also have the impression that he will also add to their problem because the whole statement was about being a crypto millionaire, not something that will make them appreciate the technology and the reason for cryptocurrency existence.
If the class was all about making money the student may end up making none because only the crypto enthusiast that appreciates the benefit of crypto are those who will see as the crypto millionaire of today.

I think OP is also thinking that having in crypto, and investing in Bitcoin makes him a millionaire. Not a thing I would say no as it was possible not we put this as motivation or whatever. Putting an example in class, it was for sure not all of them have the same mindset and ambition in life so, therefore, we can't also think that these newbies will also follow what OP has said. In fact, I'd never think this before when I was new in this market, all I just want is to earn some profit and make this as other sources of income - I was not too greedy that I think becoming a millionaire.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I feel about play to earn games on: September 24, 2022, 09:41:16 AM
I have the same thoughts as you. Games that are made for fun, of course, will be more exciting than those made for income, until now there has been no Play To Earn Game that is truly stable for its players. there was always inflation until they left the project.
Building the sustainable economic might take the time. The problem must on that thing that makes the game can't sustain for long term. I have seen so many play to earn games have dead caused by such thing. It needs the time for the developers to make experiment to make sure if it can create a formula that will make play to earn mechanism can be very sustain for long term. This will be good for people too
That is because they are just good at the start but as the market changes and of an increase in competition, it turns out that many of these games haven't survived, they are not competitive in the first place. Not really I feel this P2E games will even stay long, most of them gain popularity during the Bull season, I'm not sure if they will still make it in the next time.
1743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 24, 2022, 07:55:13 AM
Can you believe this?

If it's SMB vs Northport, I'm pretty sure the spread will not be that high, so what will this spread imply?
I mean, are we seeing this guess team as the NBA team playing against a PBA team? This is so disrespectful, there's no more competition here.  Sad

We can't blame the bookies for this kind of odds as the Bay Dragons have set a record in the PBA for the biggest winning margin of 46 points against Blackwater Bossing. In the brighter side, we can ride with the Dragons to win against Northport and expect them to cover the spread as they have Powell, a top caliber import. We are not just used to seeing this kind of spread against local teams and yes, this is some kind of a disrespect to the PBA team and a wake-up call also because if we don't improved our brand of play we will be left behind by a mile.

So you are with the Bay Dragons? I think I'm gonna follow your instinct as this team is just so good compared to the PBA teams. However, I'm expecting that Northport will play harder although I must say that Bay Dragons will easily cover this.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 24, 2022, 03:37:23 AM
So I don't think that Butler can go the whole 12 rounds. It will really be a punishment and maybe his team will throw in the towel because they don't want Paul to get ruin by so much punches he will get from Inoue if ever it will go to the distance and they will still lost in the judges card.

His team might not get even a chance to throw that towel because Inoue is so quick that they will not know when is the right time to throw that towel to stop the fight. The moment they will throw the towel, Butler might already kiss the floor.

I think the discussion was brought up on the premise that Butler will last the whole fight. That's why speculate that he will be mark or will disfigure his face but still wanted to continue the fight. Or his ring will have the duty to throw the white flag to prevent Inoue from being hurt. Look at the Pacquiao fight, Antonio Margarito faces was disfigured by Manny, and yet Robert Garcia refuses to throw the towel because of their "Mexican Pride". And now Antonio was able to make a comeback after that, and now has a artficial eye because of that. Corner shouldn't let that happen to their boxer.

Career's not over for Butler in case he will lose this fight, his side has to protect his health as boxing is just a competition, no boxer can win all the time, sometimes they have to accept and just try to work more to improve next time. Being brave is important but being smart is more important.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: September 24, 2022, 02:51:48 AM

Both will sure make adjustments on the fight. And even a weight drain Ancajas can absorb Martinez best punch, what's more if Jerwin is in his best shape and no issues with weight? It could be a different outcome. And so this is what we are expecting from him in this fight. Bring the fight to Martinez and be a banger, the style that he is known for.

Let's see if he can prove to the world that he is the better fighter, it's hard to just speculate, we should give respect to the winner, yes, Ancajas may have struggle maintaining the weight but there's nothing to be blame of, but himself and it's not a valid excuse.
1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What are the most developing play to earn games right now on: September 23, 2022, 11:51:37 PM
I hope that OP is serious about your goal because for now, P2E platforms are not performing well. In fact, as you can see many gamers are leaving for this because of many scams and useless P2E games. How could you think of risking into this?
P2E is now vanishing its good reputation and popularity, it probably sooner or later this will totally put an end. Now, if you are really thinking of earning money, I suggest just invest potential coins like BTC and ETH which you can trust and surely earn profit from them.
1747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need some advice on: September 23, 2022, 11:35:37 PM
I need some thoughts about this group I've joined a week a go. They are giving free signals for trading and I actually start earning since day 1. Are there really group like this? or Am I on the right trading group. We trade in Batex anf U-koala.
Don't just say they are true to their intention and a legit signal group. Of course, they want you to trust them back after giving signals on your first day and earn a profit. That is actually what they've tried to do and probably as a starter, you'll definitely think that they can be trusted. But hold, tried to observe them in a few days in order to check their consistency for that was the time to tell yourself that this group is good and ni intention to scam because the truth is that majority of these signal groups are scams.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 23 on: September 23, 2022, 02:00:39 PM
So Shakur Stevenson is stripped of his WBO and WBC belts. If Conceicao somehow manages to pull an upset then he can take the 2 belts. Although even if Shakur is having a hard time making the weight limit, I am still doubtful of an upset. For as long as Conceicao cannot make a clear win per round then he still can't take the judges' nods as Shakur is being built as the next big thing in boxing despite his lack of power.

After this fight, Shakur can take a tune-up at 135, and then he can take the winner of the Loma-Haney/Kambosos fight.

This is unfortunate but Shakur's health is more important than making a cut so he relinquished the title, I also believe that Shakur is far superior to Conceicao, Shakur will win this bout then he will move up a division that is loaded with talents, it's a good match up between any of the two Loma or Haney or even Ryan Garcia, it's good that he chooses to move up so he can test his skill on a division with a lot of skillful boxers and see if he can rule that division, this is a big challenge ahead for Shakur but he must first beat Conceicao decisively which I believe he can.

Lots of boxers now have struggled to maintain their weight but it's always right moving up. Well, Shakur Stevenson is a great fighter, I'm sure he will become a champion again in a higher division, so it's alright if he will get stripped with his belt because fans understands he did not lose the fight.
1749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 23, 2022, 01:19:46 PM

For sure will go on Inoue this time because I think he is much stronger than Butler since he is young fast and have killer punch which can totally knock out his opponent.

Everytime Inoue has a fight, the majority of the fans are rooting him to win, so it's not a surprise because he is the better fighter here based on their stats in comparison. Actually, fans are not discussing on who will win, they are discussing on how Inoue will win.

That is obvious, who among us fans wanted their boxer to lose?  It is that Inoue had proven himself many times that he is really a monster in the ring making us think that there is so little chance for his opponent to beat him.  It was Donaire who I think can beat Inoue but then the latter totally destroyed the Filipino flash on their rematch.

Donaire has the power as well, unfortunately, he is already not in his prime, so I'm not surprised that Inoue destroyed him in the rematch. The closest challenger I think would give Inoue some problem is Casimero, however, due to his careless action, he got stripped with his belt.
1750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc alternatives to use when withdrawing from the exchange on: September 22, 2022, 11:50:34 PM
Fees and confirmation time are somewhat a big consideration when withdrawing from an exchange and I'd see that XRP has a lower fee than other coins. And aside from that, it only takes a few minutes to confirm. Dogecoin also is asking for small commissions and fees.

Well, we also have to check if our receiving wallet accepts those coins I've mentioned above otherwise, it gives no option but to just use BTC or ETH as this likely been supported by all wallets.

1751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all 100x hunters out there on: September 22, 2022, 11:10:33 PM
Not really sure if those coins did truly reach 100x because I think it's too much but for btc maybe it is true because the coin started completely as $0 and its highest was almost $70K. Once a coin have gained a lot it might be true that it can't gain more, this is why investors are now finding their next gem on those newly released coins whose value is still under a dollar.

Hyped projects can easily make it, in fact, some reach 1000x. Have you seen Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, it is actually they did more than that 100x. So I say, it was not possible to the crypto market but yes, we should also be careful to deal with them and never think it will last longer as these projects who easily got a pump is not forever and that is why we have to learn not to be greedy and sell them once it is already its peak, otherwise missing it is a terrible loss.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 22, 2022, 12:23:40 PM
The way PBC is treating Crawford, I don't they will be able to sign him if he beats Spence except for a 1 or 2 fights deal that would guarantee a title shot against undisputed super middleweight champion Jermell Charlo. After that, I think he is headed to DAZN.

As a knowledgeable in boxing, do you think that regardless of who will win on this match between Spence and Crawford, they will face Jermell Charlo next at the super middleweight?

Or a rematch is bound to happen first?

I really like that this fight between Spence and Crawford should happen now to now end the issues of who's the best in the Welterweight and finally will move on to their next plan.

There is a high chance that a rematch is bound to happen first regardless of the result, I don't think that Spence or Crawford will just move-on without having a second bout to try and settle their scores. Also, a rematch clause was stated and that's expected as this is an undisputed fight and a measurement on who's really the best boxer in the welterweight division.

I also will go with this speculation, if there is a rematch clause, then it's definitely bound to happen. But I guess it's more of the money that they will get on the rematch and so obviously, they will go for it.

154 lbs can wait for this two, their rematch will be more lucrative for least say a Charlo fight. Charlo is good no doubt, but it could sell less as compare to Crawford vs Spence II.

Rematch then a trilogy, that's what I'm seeing if the fight will be close as it's easy to manipulate using the judges. The first fight is very important to be entertaining, just like the fight between Canelo and GGG, people wants to see a Trilogy, it's hyped and they made a lot of money although the result is boring.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 22, 2022, 11:41:11 AM
New NBA season is coming. NBA fans are once again eager to see what this new season brings. Coming from the NBA official website they posted an NBA fantasy ranking. Here is the top 20 ranking. What are your reactions on the ranking fellas? Do you agree or disagree with it?

https://i.imgur.com/pXE3Xij.jpg

I am okay with the ranking with the exception of James Harden. Are they presuming that James Harden will have a very good performance in the next season? Is Kevin Durant a better player than LeBron James at the moment?
Well, it's their way of ranking and that's how they put it up. I have no problem with their rankings and I don't see some of the players that I admire and am a fan of but that's okay.
No problem with Harden, it's like what they're expecting him to play, and as for KD and LBJ. Both are aging but still, they can play very well although KD is prone to injuries.

Yup, it's their ranking and whatever the basis, they are the one who picks it.

Harden might bring good season this year after cutting his salaries and ask for the sixers to bring all the help that they can
get just to be more competitive, I'm sure all the adjustments are now being work between sixers stars and they are now
up for these new challenges. With regard to who is better between LeBron and KD, I might say both are still good but I follow
you with KD's injury prone compared with LeBron.

I'm optimistic that Harden will have a better season with his new team. Last season, they only played few games so their chemistry is not yet fully blend, so let's expect that this coming season, they will already know each other more, which would result to better team performance, and Harden is one of the leaders.
1754  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach 45k before this year ends. on: September 21, 2022, 11:08:15 PM
I can say that $45 is not a high target and it can be met by Bitcoin. If there is possibility for Bitcoin to make $30k this year, it means it can also make $45. From $30k to $45k na withing 48hrs movement with a very strong fundamental.
But we are not sure if we reach $30k because it was even hard to stabilize at $25k which means we only have very slim chances to move high. Too early to think but what I foresee is we ended up this year below $30k. Not that low, right? And I still consider this a healthy price.
Quote
I have finally decided to buy bitcoin only for a long term and I will not disturb myself much on the price anyone. But the reality is, in as much as you are in this industry, you must be checking the price of bitcoin anytime  Grin even if you don't have assets you are monitoring.
That is the thing, buying Bitcoin now couldn't expect instant returns but must endure holding and waiting for the next bull season to come as that is the only way to earn more profit. That is why we don't just rely solely on crypto investment for sometimes or more often, it takes some time before we gain profit.
1755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalping, my best trading strategy on: September 21, 2022, 10:37:23 PM
Scalping is very good strategy as personally i use to follow in scalping user can do better Raik management as compared to the Intradetory. Scalping Decreases the volatility risks of the market sentiments. For now market is dump again i think many of us finding an opportunity as to he more atrong holder somw are excited to take position in trade thats how all this work.
when the market dumps we must be careful in scalping, because once we buy, the possibility of the market going back down will be very open. therefore the discipline of applying stop losses and targets must be maintained. On the other hand, a trader's psychology must be extra strong, considering that the smaller the time frame used, the larger the chart movement will be
Not all the time scalping is good and working well as this strategy is even riskier during the bear season.
Yes, I thought before I could earn a lot of profit doing this but the fees beat me. It was still the best option, especially during this time to use spot trading as the accumulation of fees and commission is quite low than scalping. And also, positioning is also easier for us traders where we can directly put a buy and sell option without moving our coins to another platform.
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 21, 2022, 10:42:13 AM

They have the date of Nov 19 if I'm not mistaken, but it can be taken by anyone if they don't reach an agreement as early as November as there will be no time left to prepare.

I think that was only a tentative date, it's not official yet that's why we are still discussing on when they will make the official announcement. Some are saying this fight will push through this year, but until now there's still no announcement so I think we are losing patience here.
I know that is a tentative date, but they keep on floating that one to the fans and they want us to believed that indeed the fight is going to happen that time. But so far, there is no official announcement from either camp. So yes as a fans, we are all losing patience because we wanted to see who is the best super welterweight right now. They are the only 2 fighters in that division that can claim to that title and we want to see this fight happened and don't keep up hanging around for so long.

They are not giving our expectation, it should be the best of the best, and if one of them will say now, it only means that he is not a real champion and he is not up for a challenge. I like to believe that it's gonna happen this year, but just like you, I'm slowly losing hope.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 21, 2022, 09:50:29 AM
Biggest news in the NBA today… LeBron has finally decided to go bald. No more crazy headband and hair plugs. I think this can only be a good thing for him. I’m expecting Bald Bron to go hard this year, as his championship window is rapidly closing. I’m glad his hairline won’t be a distraction any more. It seemed like that was taking up more of his time than it should have been.

That was crazy. Father time is indeed calling him not through his physical capacity but with his hair on his head. The hairline did not held back for long and just decided to get bald.
I am excited for the next season because there are a lot of young bloods who does looks promising. I wanna see how the old players like Lebron would catch up to the new generation players.

You mean rookies? yeah, but there is one that we will not going to see this season and that is Chet because he injured himself.

Lebron should have done it years ago, go bald because of his receding hairline. Nevertheless, should not bother him at all, it's his performance that is going to count this season. New team mates, new coach, we will see how Lebron is, how his body will perform against the young blood.

Lebron has shown a little weakness compared when he was still in his prime, however, that does not make him less compared to the young NBA players as he can still play and lead the team, his ability to take care of his body, that's a big inspiration for everyone, not only to the players but to the fans as well.
1758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Singapore is the second country to follow in El Salvador's footsteps, do you agr on: September 20, 2022, 10:19:24 PM
If you say Singapore is a cryptocurrency friendly country, I will agree with you but to compare them with El Salvador in terms of BTC adoption, I will disagree. When it comes to cryptocurrency adoption, I don't think they are any where near El Salvador, considering the huge investment El Salvador has put into BTC.
It was stated " will follow the footstep of El Salvador", it does not mean we are comparing Singapore to them because as we know, El Salvador has done a lot in Bitcoin adoption already which makes it ahead of the other countries. But, the adoption is still going on, we can't just know if Singapore will even push more and acquire more Bitcoin in the future which might surpass how much the other countries did.

This is not a competition anyway. Rich and developing countries will probably take their move as well someday which might surprise us.
1759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's time for staking on: September 20, 2022, 09:57:38 PM
Famz is there anyway someone can early month staking a altcoin? I don't want the yearly ones APY right? I want monthly and also I will like or prefer to stake BTC or USDT or any top altcoins like XRP or BNB just to be on the safer side, the year we are in a bear market but I am in for the long term so I really don't care about market situation.
Just do what you are preferred to do. Because staking will really matter the coin we choose, exchanges, and of course, terms of staking. I've tried flexible terms where I can withdraw my funds anytime but the reward is just small compared to long-term staking. But what I see, the risk is too high considering that we have no control over it once deposited for staking. And if we fail to choose the trusted platform, I was afraid of not having it back - scammed.
I'll suggest taking a flexible option even if the APY is quiet low at least you can move or diversify your coins just in case.
