2121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: May 28, 2022, 01:38:59 PM
As to looking forward to which one of these two known coins in the CMC had a better future, ETH is really an advanced option. But because putting eggs in single basket consist of higher risk, that is why we also have to choose other coins that also have such potential (aside from BTC) which BNB is next to its rank.

Well, honestly, having them both gives us some peace of mind. And we can assure that whatever happens to the market, even we got back to the long bear season we know that these coins never die.
2122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stay humble and stay safe on: May 28, 2022, 01:03:41 PM
Yes op is right , allowing people around you to know you are rich or have some amount of cryptocurrency is very risky.  Cryptocurrency should be private to some certain people around us who we don't trust or can give account of whom they are, a reasonable person won't boast about how much cryptocurrency he/she has to people who are close around,  because doing this the person is already inviting those who can come home with arms to collect what he/she has. It is better to stay private and humble and be safe from bad eyes.
I'm not sure if holding Bitcoin is considered a threat to our lives and encourages other people to take it from us. As if we think was right, then all rich are subject to that action.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea but this is only its drive to slow adoption and discourages people to invest in Bitcoin. Perhaps, what we did by informing people around us making helping them to realize that Bitcoin is a good investment and what happens to you might it happen to them as well. Maybe to hide how much we hold but not to the point that we have to deny it.
2123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: May 28, 2022, 12:22:31 PM
I love the Warriors to win, but 4-1 in the Finals, I think that's too much to ask. If the Warriors had some problem with the Memphis, I think there's no way we can underestimate their opponent, I think minimum 6, max is game 7.

It's possible to happen. Celtics and Heat are not consistent these playoffs compare to Golden State Warriors. There are lots of times this East team are having bad plays. In NBA Finals, it should not be like that as that's the final series already.

I'm thinking around 4-1 and 4-2 too but not it will turn out 4-3. Warriors in 5 and the reason is, they will try to celebrate a championship at their home. We are just guessing here but who knows Finals will be at Game 7. That was a good watch for us NBA Fans.

Lots of series now that went game 7, so I would not be surprised if we will see a game 7 in the Finals. The Warriors are a good team, they will be the favorites for sure, but they are not unbeatable based on what we saw in their previous series, especially their series against the Memphis. If only Morant was not injured, that series will surely went to game 7.
2124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: May 28, 2022, 12:00:29 PM

Crawford is 100% confident that he can take down Spence Jr. He also gives a hint that he wants Jermell Charlo next. He says that Spence Jr. and Charlo are on his hitlist. I like the confidence but he should be wary that those on his target list are dangerous.

Spence is also 100% confident that he can beat or takedown Crawford or any boxer that has not suffered their first loss will feel invincible, all undefeated boxers have a sense of superiority over all boxers in their division, there's so much hype on this two for many years now, I hope there will be no further delay, like Spence injury against Pacquiao and it will live up to the hype, it's been a long time that I have not to see a fight as good as the Hagler - Hearns fight, where every second is worth watching.

Both are actually confident because they are the best boxers in their division, and both are undefeated as well. Therefore, we should enjoy this fight because it's the best treat for us boxing fans.

The odds are good for this fight, and I love betting on Crawford because he is the underdog and I also trust that he will beat Spence.
Quote

Spence is a very slight betting favorite at -125 (bet $125 to win $100) while Crawford is available at +110 (bet $100 to win $110). The draw – always a possibility given boxing’s history of crazy scorecards and politics – is +1800.

2125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: May 28, 2022, 11:29:29 AM
Yes, saw this thread a couple of days ago and it's good that we have a thread already,  Smiley

Line is open already,

Alvarez - 1.21
Golovkin - 3.90

So obviously Canelo again will be the favorite, but I think this fight is going to be close again and could end up in the score card. And maybe Canelo might win by a narrow margin, around 115-113 for him.

I love the odds, and I love betting on GGG on that odds. In the last two fights, Canelo did not really dominate GGG, so for the last time, I'm going to back him to win as 3.90 odds is just hard to resist. How about you guys? Are you tempted by GGG's betting odds?
2126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end or only the beginning on: May 28, 2022, 09:55:29 AM
How many projects will rug pull in 2022? There are many projects that will face the same fate as Luna project but I believe we are able to raise voice on Luna CEO because he is popular and well known, what about projects with invincible CEO? There are tons of Defi and metaverse projects with invincible team, I think their case will be much worse than what we've seen.
It was the fact that not all crypto projects will dare to survive along with the tough market competition, many will give up and become an exit scam, like Terra Luna.

ICO, IEO, NFT, metaverses...many of them are become worthless after a month, a year on their launch. Well, it is sad to say that as the market grow fast, many people were also trying to take advantage of the market to set a scam plan. Countless projects have died already but still, a lot more are coming. It was a big challenge to determine potential and legit projects that is why we can hear people complaining about being scammed.
2127  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: An advice for Crypto Investing on: May 28, 2022, 09:29:17 AM

We are heading in a tough bear market I think you need to adjust your advice for newbies, many altcoins will die or vanish, holding Bitcoin and stable coin is the best thing to do right now, when things starts to settle that's when newbies should start picking their favourite altcoins.
No, I'm not seeing will getting back similar to the 2018-2020 bear season where the market badly facing the major price drops. I'm sure that people had already learned to become strong and able to hold their funds these days. In fact, if we could see the trend, it was too far from what it happened in the previous bear season. Though we got this situation back again, I see the market remains healthy in the sense that Bitcoin never falls below $20k, and I really never think it comes.
2128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I buy BTC or DCA other coins? on: May 28, 2022, 06:29:08 AM
If you can afford to buy bitcoin then I would say you invest in bitcoin. Invest in your bitcoin without thinking about the rest of the coins you mentioned Should be.Because Bitcoin is a powerful and reliable currency to invest in.
Why people do consider on buying alts is that they do have that impression that they could buy a whole coin which can't really be possible to be done in btc but to mind off that we could purchase by fractions or small amounts which it is really that sensible if you do stick into something which had been supported mainly by the community.

Assurance is what we need, I think. Gladly, Bitcoin has that quality. The idea of converting altcoins to Bitcoin isn't a sacrifice, yet it was a smart choice that most of us are neglected to see.

Invest the money that we can afford to lose, invest Bitcoin in fractions, that supposed we do taking the opportunity while the market is in huge price correction. Perhaps, we can see demand for Bitcoin as people/investors know that this coin could never give them disappointment and regrets but just a profitable future.
2129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL on: May 27, 2022, 11:56:42 PM
My portfolio is a wide net. 50% BTC & ETH. It's fascinating watching altcoin behavior in this downward spiral. Some unexpected surprises... Braintrust 😉. I haven't invested more than I'm willing to lose. Though down about 55% I'm in for the long term. HODL !!!
As long as you can manage to do it, then just HOLD. Nothing could help us to save from losing. Keeping in mind that this is not forever, the current situation will soon be over and those holders will get rewarded. For now, I wasn't able to check my portfolio coz it only disappoint me seeing it in the downtrend and it feels I was sick.

At this bearish time, I guess it was a healthy idea to make fun with other stuff just to divert our minds.
2130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Western Conference Finals (Warriors vs Mavericks) on: May 27, 2022, 03:17:55 PM
Game 5 tomorrow and likely be the last game in WCF this season.

I would agree with that statement.  The Warriors let their foot off the gas last game but I think they're ready to put the Mavericks away and send Luka on a trip to Cancun.  The guys on TNT have to be ready to do their fishing routine tonight, as it will almost certainly be the end of the Dallas Mavericks' season.  They did much better than I thought they would, but they just don't have the depth of talent that Golden State has.

And just as expected, the WCF has been finished earlier and the Golden State Warriors are the ones who will advance to the Finals. They chose to finish the game at their home where they have their own set of fans to boost them and they would make the fans proud again. The Dallas Mavericks was indeed good as they have reached the conference finals even though they don't have that much experience, today, the Warriors has been unstoppable to the point that even the Mavericks didn't won even just for a single quarter.

Warriors had an early rest, they will be fresh in the NBA Finals, much fresher if the series will not end tomorrow and there will be a game 7 on the ECF. Warriors also have experienced some injuries, especially for Otto Porter Jr., but I think he will be back in the NBA Finals. If we compare the Warriors to the Celtics, Warriors are a healthier team.
2131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: May 27, 2022, 02:51:39 PM
The warriors have already advanced to the NBA Finals. They are now in waiting mode for the winner of the Celtics vs Heat series.

Not sure if they will still be listed as the favorite if the Celtics win tomorrow, but regardless, I believe the Warriors will win.
What I like about the Warriors is they are hungry for this win, they have been here many times before, so now they will try to win again.

That was a great game earlier, although I already figured out who will win today just by looking on their performance on the 1st half. Klay Thompson was hard to defend as he can always do his thing anywhere in their homecourt, he scored 32 points (48.0 FG%).

I bet the Warriors will still be the favorite on the Finals even if the Celtics will close Eastern conference tomorrow against the Heat. The Warriors are much more healthy than the Celtics and they have a lot of key players too, even the bench players can do some job for the team.

Right, Warriors has better standings on the regular season compared to Celtics and also they dominate all the teams they fight on there playoffs run while Celtics barely win against Bucks and possibly Heat if they have no injury issue.

Warriors bench is much effective than Celtics and also Celtics play is always center to Tatum which is very easy to counter by the warriors with an overall shooter players.

How about Jaylen Brown? Do you think he cannot lead the team? There are times when Tatum struggled and Brown came to the rescue, this team is not only all about Jason Tatum although I believe that he is the best player in the team, just like Curry, take Curry out and for sure the Warriors are not the same team anymore.
Yes Brown is to lead too but Tatum usually has the play same with Mavericks and Nuggets that focus on Doncic and Jokic despite they have other support players too that step up when the main star is not performing well.

I just want to emphasize the balance of GSW players since all of them can step up and cover Curry in case his game is not good. There's a lot of player to choose like Thompson, Poole, Green and Wiggins which can lead the team if needed.

I beg to disagree,  Celtics are a different team, we cannot compare them to the Mavericks and Nuggets.

Just look at this game, https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore/_/gameId/401438134

That's when they beat the Heat on the road.

Tatum 22 points
Brown 25 points
Horford 16 points
White 14 points.

Look at how they spread the points, Tatum not even the top scorer. It's not possible with Mavs and Nuggets as Luka and Jokic are always the top scorer.
2132  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you a trader or a hodler? on: May 27, 2022, 01:20:38 PM
In fact, we can decide which one is profitable and must know where we are comfortable of doing our job as these all are very challenging in real life.

 - trading is not for everyone and not all become profitable
 - Holding is not also for everyone as this is only suitable for those who have patience

We simply don't make a decision that will compromise the future of our funds. It should be planned well. And I'm going to say that I was a holder and at the same time a trader.

2133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: May 27, 2022, 12:11:05 AM
In a bear market, as a rule, coins accumulate in the hands of a large investor. And only after a large capital buys enough coins for its purposes, a pump occurs, during which a large investor begins to sell his coins, fixing profits, at the expense of those who buy coins during this pump.
That is only hope but I'm doubtful if these large investors or institutional investors will take a look at them as I was sure that they will take a prior pick those coins that have a higher gain potential, not these shitcoins. In fact, we could notice that those on the top listed coins in the market make their pump first. I'm not sure if the pump and dump group will work at this bearish time, it found missing base on my observation.
2134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 26, 2022, 01:49:46 PM
How about Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics later. This series is kinda unpredictable and I could not tell if the Heat do have the upper hand at their home. Boston stole one from them and it could happen again.
I may just watch the game and forget about betting.

It's pretty hard to predict who will win Game 5, even though the bookmakers think the Celtics are the favorites tonight. In addition, there is already an injury update, and the Celtics said that Smart and Williams will play, while the Heat said that Herro is out tonight. However, I think the Heat will have a chance to beat the Celtics if they can defend as they did in Game 3.

I think the bookies is right this time, game 5 was won by the Celtics.

Both Robert Williams and Marcus Smart played although limited minutes, but they have contributed big with their defense.

Unfortunately the Heat, don't have the players to score in this game, Bam did his share, but maybe Butler is still nursing that injury and not 100%.

Butler was unable to produce good numbers, maybe the injury still hitting him, but coach Spo still maximized his minutes inside.

playing 40 mins I really admire him as a player, he will try to stay and help though the outcome for today's game is not favorable for them

they need to find the best adjustment, else, Boston will finish the series at home.

I suspect that as well, he was not the same on the first 2 games of the series where his shooting was very accurate. Without Bulter good performance, there's a little chance that the Heat will beat the Celtics, so this series will not be going to game 7 as Celtics might end the series in 6.
2135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eastern Conference Finals (Heat vs Celtics) on: May 26, 2022, 01:06:43 PM
In game 4, this round is exaggerated. Injuries from the description maybe there haven't been any results, both the Celtics and heat, who got more injured. But the difference in points in Game 5 and injuries are minimized. I hope the road in Game 6 can be more conducive. If it's hot it will be lower of course celtich has good enthusiasm. and maybe he will take advantage of that fight in the future
The difference in points in round 5 makes predictions almost slim. But this year's NBA Finals will be exciting
I think this series is going to end in game 6, Heat has no answer on the Celtics, their main scorer Jimmy Butler has been struggling in the last 2 games already. In game 5, he only score 13 points from a very poor shooting with 4-18, if Butler continues to struggle, then Celtics will go to the NBA Finals.
That's the problem that Heat needs to address if they still want to extend the finals, they should work as a team because Celtics are really dominating the series but of course there's still a chance for Heat to tied the series. Celtics should not be more complacent here, better to stay focus and try to finish the series and go to the NBA Finals. Butler should step up and do better on the do or die game, it's not too late yet.

It's too late already, if Heat would want to win, they should do it on their home court, but they failed in game 5 and it was not even a close game, so their chance of winning now is very low. Game 6 is going to be a do or die game for both teams, at least Celtics should think that way as heat will gain the momentum if they will allow the Heat to win in game 6.
Too early to say but I agree, Heat should be able to win on Game 5 but failed to do so, most probably game 6 will in favor to Celtics since its their home court advantage and the momentum is with them. If Game 6 goes to Heat there's a high chance for them to get the championship, luck can still be on their side. Eastern conference are more intense since we saw the two teams really fighting neck and neck, whoever wins on this two team the NBA finals will become more exciting.

There should be no room for error for them in the next 2 games. Although it can be done, but their chances are slim. Now they have to go to Boston Garden wherein they were eaten alive in the first quarter alone, 18-1 run. And then the injuries are pilling up, Herro is out, Butler and Lowry is still feeling some pain and not fully recovered. Only Bam is taking the load but he was check by Big Al and Williams. And then their medical team doing a great job on Tatum's injury. Celtics will go to the NBA finals next game.

Even if the Heat will survive in game 6 and gain the home court advantage in game 7, I still think that the Heat will not be favored to win the series as Celtics have beat them twice in a row already in a dominant passion on their own home court. Game 6 is a must-win for both teams, but it should be the better team that will win.
2136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price with a 4 year cycle? on: May 25, 2022, 11:38:58 PM

Do you think we will follow the 4 year cycle again or we will go to the next ATH?
That is our expectation as we also had that experience. People are excited for the next halving to make a huge profit. This couldn't be erased from our minds and I'm going to agree and support it.

https://coinmarketcap.com/halving/bitcoin/
Can't wait to see it. I fill my bag already ready for the next halving, it can such another opportunity and another market experience. And I guess, everyone is also taking their time to accumulate this time looking forward to getting rewards 3-4 years from now.
2137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to buy - end of bear market incoming on: May 25, 2022, 11:02:06 PM

When trying to buy the dip it is important to remember that for a great deal of the coins in the market this is not a drop and instead it is an event from which they are never going to recover, so they will be eventually replaced by new coins that are released in the future, so when buying the dip it is not only important to look at the price of the coin it is also important to look at its fundamentals, if they are strong then it is fine to buy now but if they are weak then it is better to avoid that coin.
Indeed. It wasn't just the price we need to look at upon investing, it is also important to know their potential as our fundamental basis when choosing as this likely be the factor to say that we can make ROI out from them. That is why we consider buying among the top listed coins in the market as they are worth to invest, not on the bottom list.

We can just see positive results and expect profit if we invest in potential coins. Keeping responsible out of it is very important.
2138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: May 25, 2022, 02:14:26 PM
The warriors will not be beaten 4 times in a row by Dallas, so It will be GSW in the NBA finals vs Boston most likely. The Heat are experiencing injuries at the wrong time of the season. Jimmy Butler being their main loss.

Regardless of who is the winner of the Eastern conference, I don't feel like anyone can stop GSW.

Warriors are the heavy favorite for a reason. Well, I think the Warriors will advance in the NBA Finals but it's not certain yet who will advance from the East. The Heat are good but Butler seemed not 100%, and his performance in game 4 is evidence that he is not 100% due to his limited contribution, now it's game 5, this is the most important game of both teams, let's see if Butler can lead the team to win, or are we going to see the Celtics dominating the Heat again?
2139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: May 25, 2022, 01:49:55 PM
I like the statement of Donaire, looks like he is really serious with his goal of becoming the undisputed champion in the bantamweight divison, if he will win in this bout, he will be a unified champion and for sure will soon be an undisputed as only Inoue is the toughest opponent in this division.
Though based on his statement he really want to prove himself, but I have to say all boxers including an underdogs will say same since they need confident enough to beat their opponent, even it's near impossible to won. In this match, I also see it's almost impossible for Donaire to win, Inoue is in prime and he's like a killing machine on the current weight.
I would not say it's almost impossible for Donaire to beat Inoue, maybe he is a heavy underdog but he has his weapon that could KO Inoue if he will be careless. In fact, I expect Inoue will be less aggressive in this fight as he knows himself that Donaire has the power to KO him, so his strategy will more like using his quickness advantage to win.
2140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pockets full of potential on: May 24, 2022, 01:09:58 PM
Well, I guess you enjoy doing this, just keep it up.
Only the thing I could say to you is Don't focus on the shitcoins, try to look at high liquidity coins, something among the top 50.

Farming is actually just for fun, we don't consider this as a good profiting source. But I believe that having good and high liquidty coins gives us more returns than those coins you have in your pocket.
