2321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 07, 2022, 09:07:21 PM

This fight will take place at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia on June 5, 2022.

There's no official odds yet but obviously Kambosos will be favorited with +190 while Haney will become an underdog with -220

I don't know why Haney is the huge underdog he has proven himself and has been dominating the lightweight division, Kambosos is a great fighter but I still consider Haney the best lightweight champion even better than Ryan Garcia, the boxing community saw a big motivation for Kambosos because it will be held in Australia and we all know what happened to Pacquiao when he fought there, but we have a fighter here in Haney who can overcome all odds I precited he will beat Kambosos hopefully by knock out because we all know home town decision can have an impact here.
We must remember that the odds given by the casino are not only the probabilities of one fighter beating the other, casinos also need to take into account how people perceive the fighters, it is not rare to find instances in which the casinos gave odds that made one person or team the favorite, and then the odds make a turn around and then they become the underdogs as the majority of the gamblers made bets for the other person or team to win, I think that after the exhibition against Lopez gamblers were so impressed by him that Kambosos would have been the favorite against almost any fighter, however this means making a bet for Haney to win seems like a good idea right now.

@Jawhead999, sorry guys but I think you misunderstood the betting odds.

+190 is the underdog, while  -220 is the favorite, which means Haney is the favorite to win not Kambasos Jr.

Odds: Devin Haney -190 favorite, George Kambosos +148 underdog.

I'm with you, risking some spare for Ginebra to add some fun while watching the game.

I guess I'm also riding with you guys, the spread hasn't changed yet, Ginebra is still -1.5 in this game, a big difference when Magnolia faces Meralco as Meralco is always an underdog of +4.5. If no rigging in game 2, I think Ginebra has a big chance of winning.
2323  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach its all-time high? on: April 07, 2022, 09:24:37 AM
(...)

Time will tell. What are your predictions of when will bitcoin recover from this decline?
Time will tell...
Well, this 2nd quarter it looks like not at its best. The market seems to move up and down, I'd never see strong resistance in the market making its way up consistently. The price of Bitcoin may just be raging $40k-$48k.

However, I'd expect a change in this trend likely in the 3rd quarter, but never I expect the price of Bitcoin will move as high as $55k. This year we're not really be going to have ATH again but at least, we're not on the bearish side. Looking at the market price this time, I guess people are still calm and confident about holding investments. If this is still kept going, prices will surely don't drop more instead of growing high.
2324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: imagine a world without Bitcoin on: April 07, 2022, 08:26:50 AM

That brings me to my question "imagine a future without cryptocurrency Bitcoin and a world without digital payments".
___how will the world look like?
___will financial transaction be stressful and restrict?
___will there be anything like Bitcointalk forum?
___will the rate of jobless increase or decrease?
___will the rate of scamming increase or decrease?

I could imagine that even without Bitcoin, even without cryptocurrency, people could still live. This market change is just only a sort of innovation, it plays an important role this time as we are in the computer and internet era, and that is we need to develop a new marker design which is digital currencies. However, with the above mentioned by OP, I didn't imagine facing such problems even without the existence of crypto. Honestly, people are already comfortable with fiat money.

Scamming, jobless, delays transaction? All of these things are still existing even this time.
2325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 05, 2022, 09:33:48 PM
Crypto can't survive without a bear market, if not everything will remain at one spot and no reason to invest anymore what is the best strategy to prepare for a bear market and at the same time keep making a profit from the present market condition.
Well, I do. Perhaps, we have to anticipate the possible change in market trend as it is really unpredictable but I guess we are already aware of such a thing. If we keep watching the market chart, we can just project what possibly come next and what we need to do. Buy the dip kinda be the best choice rather than worry and panic. Investors will consider this as an opportunity, and I guess we need to adapt their idea.

But what we have seen in the market now, it looks like we are getting bullish back again.
2326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please share your opinions about the Bitgert. on: April 04, 2022, 01:15:46 PM
Hello,
What is your opinion about the Bitgert? I saw an article entitled "SHIBA INU WHALES LEFT AND JOINING BITGERT". Is it true?
Are the Analytics Insight website articles reliable?

Thank you.
The article is reliable and I believe this could even help Shiba Inu to look more attractive to the market as stated in the said article.

The Bitgert project has achieved so much in a short time, and the Bitgert chain has been one of the biggest developments so far. The continued launch of the projects built on the Bitgert Startup Studio is going to make this project even more attractive. Therefore, we will see the Bitgert coin do well with the fast-growing number of projects in the ecosystem.
May the impact on the price isn't fast that is why we can't see it is growing but can't underestimate these whales as they are very particular with that.
Well, for now, we can't assume what gonna happen, let's see how the trend going to change but honestly, I was very positive about this.
2327  Economy / Gambling / Re: how to choose best Gambling website for Gambling ? on: April 02, 2022, 09:57:28 PM
I am very new to gambling, I am facing many issues for this but I don't understand such as: RTP, house edge I don't understand these things. What  should I need to keep in mind  to choose a good gambling website?
You have to consider their reputation first. Some are suggesting through searching, yes it can help and even looking at their reviews but somehow, these things can be manipulated and turn everything into good, especially for new sites. Sometimes we really need to try them just to verify their legitimacy.

Most of the time we look at how much we possibly win by gambling with them and many had fallen into that kind of scam tricked. That I suggest that it was best to choose those sites that have already the name and reputation rather than looking for a new one to avoid this thing.
2328  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How true is this ? on: April 02, 2022, 02:08:36 PM
I heard you can burst a project by asking questions, if they are hiding something they won't be able to answer all questions thrown at them, is this true?
Perhaps, it is our right to know their legitimacy and really be the concern of the people but sometimes, these scam projects will certainly decline any queries that will question their legality. They keep silent.

What questions can one ask a project dev or team to know if they are up to something good or bad?
https://www.hbc.bank/11-ways-to-check-if-a-website-is-legit-or-trying-to-scam-you/
Following these guides become useful we got no response from the team/developers. We can visualize everything if this project is legit or just another scam. In general, we have to spend time searching and verifying the project status. Their reviews and feedback could also add more hints.
2329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Around 300 to 400 students will be attending my Bitcoin webinar next month on: April 02, 2022, 01:36:17 PM
snip...
Too bad to hear that man.
If it is be going to happen that they will pursue their plan and assigned a topic to you which you are not familiar with, declining their invitation is the best idea rather than compromising your reputation.

I know you can make a good discussion and give knowledge to the virtual audience but it was best if you are really confident with the topic assigned and have a long experience as in the case of & A portion is something easy for you to answer and talk about.
2330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need more more to invest on crypto. on: April 02, 2022, 12:28:10 PM
^^ But this is only applicable if you have a deep pockets. But for the majority of us average Joe, it's only crypto that we have invested, maybe in the last 4-5 years and it really good to see because it's paying higher dividends. If and only if you have hold then for that long. But I will totally understood average Joe investors who sold because they need money. I agree with diversification though, if you can then do it. But if you stick with crypto, you better learn how to mitigate risk as well, specially in a bear market.
Honestly, we can't expect these average joe to hold that long. 4 to 5 years of holding without other sources of income, seems so hard for them, they can't take that and they will sell.

If I have $200 in my pocket, I will just invest half of it ($100). That is only the amount I could risk and I can afford to lose. Paying attention to earning more profit was so distracting as we can't assume that everything will be fine after investing. That I suggest we don't just focus on a single investment or source of income, it was best to have more.
2331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you help out a newbie trader please? on: April 02, 2022, 11:32:56 AM
Changing your attitude and strategies may help you to solve the problem.

 * Don't go for leverage trading, instead start with the spot trading (less risk and ideal for newbies)
 * Don't get easy with the market volatility - it pump and dump, just stay calm
 * Focus on learning first rather than focusing on how to make a profit.
 * Don't be too emotional - this will thought you nothing but it drives you to lose

Never think there will be an easy trade, never expect you will be in profit once you will get started. There are a lot of things you need to learn, yet it needs experience and time to find those things.
2332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 02, 2022, 07:31:01 AM
LeBron and Anthony Davis are both in the lineup tonight. The game is about to rip off and sadly I can’t watch it, but I’ll be awaiting the highlights and keeping my fingers crossed. The playoffs without LeBron James would be a shame. Especially at this stage in his career when who knows how many seasons he has left in the tank. Hopefully AD comes back strong and gets them the W. Additionally, the Spurs won tonight so the pressure is on the Lakers. Hopefully the Spurs lose a few going forward to take some of the pressure off, because I don’t know if the Lakers have what it takes to make it into the postseason on their own.

It was a close game, but the Lakers lost again. LeBron showed great performance by scoring 38 points, but it wasn't enough to win. So the Lakers have worsened their situation again, and it's unlikely that they will be able to continue to struggle for the last place in the play-in tournament since the Spurs will probably win the next game against the Blazers.

Interesting to see Davis back in the line up and it was a very close game. Nevertheless, they still choke in the closing minutes, so it seems that the Lakers might be looking for next season now. Yes, James played great again, no question about that, but as others said, he is not a closer, he want to take the ball, but I think it's better if he could give it up to Davis.

He played great but all are wasted because he could not sink the last shot which was supposed to be the winning shot. if Lakers wants to win, they need to be consistent form the start until the end of the game, and they need to make sure that the last shot should be a high percentage shot or is coming from a clutch player.
2333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand or know the whale's next move? on: April 02, 2022, 07:03:49 AM
I'm not sure but these things can help,

* following them on social media
* joining the group of whales
* being updated to the market news

I believe that the behavior of whales is always different from reality, sometimes they spread FUDs in the hope of a red market and they buy in large quantities,
Whales are whales, not just the usual investor or traders that we saw buying and selling. Their influence in the market is a big factor that could suddenly change the trend. Will, of course, we want to know what will be their next plan, something we want to ride along with them just for the sake of taking the opportunity to gain more profit.

2334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop in 2022 on: April 02, 2022, 06:30:17 AM
Anyone still joins airdrops this day? If Yes which platform are you using to participate in Airdrops? I'm using coinmarketcap but I never get a single payment from projects on the platform.
Are there still reliable airdrops to join with? That was a big question by now and very unfortunate that we don't find any.
Joining airdrops is not just we waste of our time but we are also helping these fake platforms to collect information from the people who are joining them. In fact, some are asking for personal identification, some are encouraged to register on their site in order to earn more. This was very identical to the strategies of some sites, they'll going to show the huge number of members to encourage investors to invest, yet they all are not active traders anymore.
2335  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting up and trying again on: April 01, 2022, 11:39:30 PM
There are times in life when everything will seem not working as planned, infact it will seem as if you are not doing anything at all, but in all sincerity, you are trying your best, it could be in education, business, career and so on. you will feel like giving up and just not do anything at all.
(...)
Very often, honestly. I was having that feeling many years ago, I was then thinking about quitting but yeah, we can do nothing if we just easily give up. We have to think also that not all our plans went successful, sometimes we face failure. Many are having this experience, I know.

But if we let this feeling drives us, it means that we just easily accept our failure which I believe was not the nature of being a successful person. Thriving hard makes things change, honestly, there is no easy success in business, and even finding a good job, really comes in a hard way.
2336  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are growing in numbers every day on Twitter, be careful out there on: April 01, 2022, 10:17:21 PM
Indeed. Scammers will use anything that can help them to scam people. The use of Twitter isn't new but wondering many were still fall into this kind of trick. This will tell us that many people aren't yet aware of the situation like this and many people are still blind not to see how scam works.

East money, quick rich scheme...many got fooled with such offers from these scammers and those who certainly have greed in their life could easily get fall into their hands.

Not just about going to learn, we need to be more vigilant and think before we decide.
2337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who is behind shiba inu on: April 01, 2022, 09:35:08 PM
There are several issues are founding behind Shiba Inu token to flourished in the crypto market quickly. All of them i just found that two or three reasons which are the power house to reach high. Shiba Inu token is known as Doge coin killar. Many crypto experts address that Shib token get the driven force form Elon Musk, Many of us assume that Shib owner Ryoshi connected with Ethereum Co-founder Vitalik Buterin. No one can not say exactly what is behind Shiba Inu.
And they might be wrong, possibly.
Nobody knows, that was the answer and it was not supposed to do pointing out someone who did this. In fact, some shitcoins did the rally as well, so definitely, Shiba Inu have their chance also.

Whoever there is wasn't really matter. Honestly, we couldn't find them if they keep anonymous. I believe none of those you have mentioned as these people will obviously tell the public and published on social media if they have the participation but we heard nothing from them.
2338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 01, 2022, 12:30:46 PM
An unexpected thing happened.

Congratulations to the Meralco Bolts for winning the semi Finals.

Now, we will see good Finals series between the Bolts and the Gin Kings.
I am also happy with the performance of the Bolts because I won my Moneyline bet.

Congratulations, big odds.

If Harris were playing, things could be different, maybe Meralco would still win but not the way they won the game.
Less than 8 minutes in the game, Harris was already taken out, though the Import of Meralco has less contribution, he was huge in getting the import of Magnolia injured. haha... Kidding aside, I'm sending prayers to the recovery of Harris, hope nothing is serious with that injury.
2339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 01, 2022, 11:39:21 AM
I'm looking at the games tomorrow.

I'm seeing a good opportunity betting on the Memphis at home with +7.5
They are up against the Suns, but I think they are also playing impressive basketball even without Ja Morant.

Both teams are on a winning streak, so I guess Memphis here is the right play.
2340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH future on: March 31, 2022, 01:26:44 PM
I fear for ETH future, almost all smart contract projects are using the PoS staking algorithm but only ETH PoW stands alone, this makes ETH different and one of a kind smart contract project, I think vitalik buterin will regret is decision after ETH goes PoS.
All you need to do is to stop relying on FUDs.
Will Mr. Vitalik let it happen? It surely not, he'd protect it and that is why despite much negativity we've heard in previous days, ETH still exists till now. That is how obvious that ETH would certainly survive and we never have to think about dying because this only happens to shitcoins. And if you know the function of these smart contracts in the market, I believe you just then change your view.
