1761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 22, 2022, 12:23:40 PM
The way PBC is treating Crawford, I don't they will be able to sign him if he beats Spence except for a 1 or 2 fights deal that would guarantee a title shot against undisputed super middleweight champion Jermell Charlo. After that, I think he is headed to DAZN.

As a knowledgeable in boxing, do you think that regardless of who will win on this match between Spence and Crawford, they will face Jermell Charlo next at the super middleweight?

Or a rematch is bound to happen first?

I really like that this fight between Spence and Crawford should happen now to now end the issues of who's the best in the Welterweight and finally will move on to their next plan.

There is a high chance that a rematch is bound to happen first regardless of the result, I don't think that Spence or Crawford will just move-on without having a second bout to try and settle their scores. Also, a rematch clause was stated and that's expected as this is an undisputed fight and a measurement on who's really the best boxer in the welterweight division.

I also will go with this speculation, if there is a rematch clause, then it's definitely bound to happen. But I guess it's more of the money that they will get on the rematch and so obviously, they will go for it.

154 lbs can wait for this two, their rematch will be more lucrative for least say a Charlo fight. Charlo is good no doubt, but it could sell less as compare to Crawford vs Spence II.

Rematch then a trilogy, that's what I'm seeing if the fight will be close as it's easy to manipulate using the judges. The first fight is very important to be entertaining, just like the fight between Canelo and GGG, people wants to see a Trilogy, it's hyped and they made a lot of money although the result is boring.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 22, 2022, 11:41:11 AM
New NBA season is coming. NBA fans are once again eager to see what this new season brings. Coming from the NBA official website they posted an NBA fantasy ranking. Here is the top 20 ranking. What are your reactions on the ranking fellas? Do you agree or disagree with it?

https://i.imgur.com/pXE3Xij.jpg

I am okay with the ranking with the exception of James Harden. Are they presuming that James Harden will have a very good performance in the next season? Is Kevin Durant a better player than LeBron James at the moment?
Well, it's their way of ranking and that's how they put it up. I have no problem with their rankings and I don't see some of the players that I admire and am a fan of but that's okay.
No problem with Harden, it's like what they're expecting him to play, and as for KD and LBJ. Both are aging but still, they can play very well although KD is prone to injuries.

Yup, it's their ranking and whatever the basis, they are the one who picks it.

Harden might bring good season this year after cutting his salaries and ask for the sixers to bring all the help that they can
get just to be more competitive, I'm sure all the adjustments are now being work between sixers stars and they are now
up for these new challenges. With regard to who is better between LeBron and KD, I might say both are still good but I follow
you with KD's injury prone compared with LeBron.

I'm optimistic that Harden will have a better season with his new team. Last season, they only played few games so their chemistry is not yet fully blend, so let's expect that this coming season, they will already know each other more, which would result to better team performance, and Harden is one of the leaders.
1763  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach 45k before this year ends. on: September 21, 2022, 11:08:15 PM
I can say that $45 is not a high target and it can be met by Bitcoin. If there is possibility for Bitcoin to make $30k this year, it means it can also make $45. From $30k to $45k na withing 48hrs movement with a very strong fundamental.
But we are not sure if we reach $30k because it was even hard to stabilize at $25k which means we only have very slim chances to move high. Too early to think but what I foresee is we ended up this year below $30k. Not that low, right? And I still consider this a healthy price.
Quote
I have finally decided to buy bitcoin only for a long term and I will not disturb myself much on the price anyone. But the reality is, in as much as you are in this industry, you must be checking the price of bitcoin anytime  Grin even if you don't have assets you are monitoring.
That is the thing, buying Bitcoin now couldn't expect instant returns but must endure holding and waiting for the next bull season to come as that is the only way to earn more profit. That is why we don't just rely solely on crypto investment for sometimes or more often, it takes some time before we gain profit.
1764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalping, my best trading strategy on: September 21, 2022, 10:37:23 PM
Scalping is very good strategy as personally i use to follow in scalping user can do better Raik management as compared to the Intradetory. Scalping Decreases the volatility risks of the market sentiments. For now market is dump again i think many of us finding an opportunity as to he more atrong holder somw are excited to take position in trade thats how all this work.
when the market dumps we must be careful in scalping, because once we buy, the possibility of the market going back down will be very open. therefore the discipline of applying stop losses and targets must be maintained. On the other hand, a trader's psychology must be extra strong, considering that the smaller the time frame used, the larger the chart movement will be
Not all the time scalping is good and working well as this strategy is even riskier during the bear season.
Yes, I thought before I could earn a lot of profit doing this but the fees beat me. It was still the best option, especially during this time to use spot trading as the accumulation of fees and commission is quite low than scalping. And also, positioning is also easier for us traders where we can directly put a buy and sell option without moving our coins to another platform.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 21, 2022, 10:42:13 AM

They have the date of Nov 19 if I'm not mistaken, but it can be taken by anyone if they don't reach an agreement as early as November as there will be no time left to prepare.

I think that was only a tentative date, it's not official yet that's why we are still discussing on when they will make the official announcement. Some are saying this fight will push through this year, but until now there's still no announcement so I think we are losing patience here.
I know that is a tentative date, but they keep on floating that one to the fans and they want us to believed that indeed the fight is going to happen that time. But so far, there is no official announcement from either camp. So yes as a fans, we are all losing patience because we wanted to see who is the best super welterweight right now. They are the only 2 fighters in that division that can claim to that title and we want to see this fight happened and don't keep up hanging around for so long.

They are not giving our expectation, it should be the best of the best, and if one of them will say now, it only means that he is not a real champion and he is not up for a challenge. I like to believe that it's gonna happen this year, but just like you, I'm slowly losing hope.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 21, 2022, 09:50:29 AM
Biggest news in the NBA today… LeBron has finally decided to go bald. No more crazy headband and hair plugs. I think this can only be a good thing for him. I’m expecting Bald Bron to go hard this year, as his championship window is rapidly closing. I’m glad his hairline won’t be a distraction any more. It seemed like that was taking up more of his time than it should have been.

That was crazy. Father time is indeed calling him not through his physical capacity but with his hair on his head. The hairline did not held back for long and just decided to get bald.
I am excited for the next season because there are a lot of young bloods who does looks promising. I wanna see how the old players like Lebron would catch up to the new generation players.

You mean rookies? yeah, but there is one that we will not going to see this season and that is Chet because he injured himself.

Lebron should have done it years ago, go bald because of his receding hairline. Nevertheless, should not bother him at all, it's his performance that is going to count this season. New team mates, new coach, we will see how Lebron is, how his body will perform against the young blood.

Lebron has shown a little weakness compared when he was still in his prime, however, that does not make him less compared to the young NBA players as he can still play and lead the team, his ability to take care of his body, that's a big inspiration for everyone, not only to the players but to the fans as well.
1767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Singapore is the second country to follow in El Salvador's footsteps, do you agr on: September 20, 2022, 10:19:24 PM
If you say Singapore is a cryptocurrency friendly country, I will agree with you but to compare them with El Salvador in terms of BTC adoption, I will disagree. When it comes to cryptocurrency adoption, I don't think they are any where near El Salvador, considering the huge investment El Salvador has put into BTC.
It was stated " will follow the footstep of El Salvador", it does not mean we are comparing Singapore to them because as we know, El Salvador has done a lot in Bitcoin adoption already which makes it ahead of the other countries. But, the adoption is still going on, we can't just know if Singapore will even push more and acquire more Bitcoin in the future which might surpass how much the other countries did.

This is not a competition anyway. Rich and developing countries will probably take their move as well someday which might surprise us.
1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's time for staking on: September 20, 2022, 09:57:38 PM
Famz is there anyway someone can early month staking a altcoin? I don't want the yearly ones APY right? I want monthly and also I will like or prefer to stake BTC or USDT or any top altcoins like XRP or BNB just to be on the safer side, the year we are in a bear market but I am in for the long term so I really don't care about market situation.
Just do what you are preferred to do. Because staking will really matter the coin we choose, exchanges, and of course, terms of staking. I've tried flexible terms where I can withdraw my funds anytime but the reward is just small compared to long-term staking. But what I see, the risk is too high considering that we have no control over it once deposited for staking. And if we fail to choose the trusted platform, I was afraid of not having it back - scammed.
I'll suggest taking a flexible option even if the APY is quiet low at least you can move or diversify your coins just in case.
1769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 20, 2022, 12:08:42 PM

For sure will go on Inoue this time because I think he is much stronger than Butler since he is young fast and have killer punch which can totally knock out his opponent.

Everytime Inoue has a fight, the majority of the fans are rooting him to win, so it's not a surprise because he is the better fighter here based on their stats in comparison. Actually, fans are not discussing on who will win, they are discussing on how Inoue will win.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 20, 2022, 11:01:15 AM
I also think that's a good choice and having him sign for a 1-year contract seems to be a good option for both of them. But most likely, it's Lakers that would want to test him if he's going to suit with the other key players.

But if he's able to play with the other superstars on the team before, then that's an ease to him and there won't be a long adjustment that he needs to be done.

Well, exciting things are happening now to the Lakers. What are some other good deals and contract signings that has happened to other teams?
Hmm... I'll be honest, I confess that right now I don't know in my mind.
But I see that most teams are doing everything to adapt and improve the team for the next season!

Dennis is a good PG, and if he gets the chemistry to play along with AD and LeBron, I have no doubt that the Lakers will be a strong team this NBA season!
Of course, for that to happen, I expect no Lakers player to have any kind of injury over the course of the regular season or playoffs.
It is because everyone is aiming to be at the top and get that championship. Every team has the same goal for each season and that's to be the season's champ.

And that's the reason why they're upgrading and getting anyone that they can that's suit their budget and thinks that will fit the team, based on their roster.

We'll still see that chemistry, hopefully, all of them will click.

Lakers does not have to spend big money for the upgrade because they paid cheap to get a great players, yes, Dennis is great, his stats with lakers are good, and that's the reason why they offered him with a huge contract, but unfortunately he got greedy and decline it.
1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana a good investment in this 2022? on: September 17, 2022, 01:43:54 PM
Some analysts predict solana will soar in 2022, will it actually happen? considering the crypto inflation.

here is my Reference:  https://priceprediction.net/en/price-prediction/solana
I have no argument when talking about the potentiality of this project but if we talk about it will soar this year, I tend to disagree with this. We are totally in the bear season, no coins will ever pump and make a rally without a good reason, and hype was not considered good but kinda be a trap. And I don't think also that hype will happen.

For I know and believe that Solana will become valuable in the future but this project still relies on the market trend. It only pumps when Bitcoin moves high just like the other altcoins.
1772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why going for 1.02 odds and below on: September 17, 2022, 12:19:39 PM

Assuming I have $10 to bet with this week, going for 1.02 odd, the profit is $0.2.

Your calculation is wrong, your profit should be $0.02.

Honestly, I don't think that kind of odds is really attractive, although let's say that it's quite a sure win but I think it's still very risky to bet on that since no one could say who will win in the fight, meaning, there's no guaranteed winner in sports gambling.

1773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 17, 2022, 11:45:31 AM

ML? nah, not worth for us, just regular gamblers. Maybe there are whales that are willing to take their chances and bet in a thousands of dollars.

Whales would not bet on that, though it's very small and most likely Inoue will win, but there's still a huge risk betting on that low odds. I would rather bet on Inoue winning by KO between rounds 1-3 than put a bet on ML. I think everybody here believes that Inoue will win, but as I said, it's a high risk putting a huge bet on ML as he is not guaranteed a winner.

They aren't doing it. Instead of focusing on the league to make it better, they are focusing on the 2 companies only. The competitiveness of the league is decreasing gradually because of these 2 companies and those independent teams are becoming milking teams. I will not be surprised if 5-10 years from now, 1 or 2 of these independent teams will sell their franchises to other companies.

I wonder if they don't notice the unpolishments and the incompetence of their league but I hope that they will still do something to fix their lapses and not just focus on earning money. Yes, it's business but I hope that they could still bring back the essence of this sport. PBA is starting to look more like a business than sports these past few seasons. It's getting unfair to teams and players but I wish that they would not sell their franchises despite what's happening.

I think it's very evident and so they have noticed it, but they can't do anything about it because the league is no longer that competitive unlike before. As you have said, it's turning out to be more of a business now, unlike before wherein players and team owners take it personally if I may put it that way. But now, it has change, only 2 teams are competing and they got the best players in the league because they have the money to offer.

Changing that means the owners themselves will try to think of a change, willingness to give up their majority control will make the PBA better, more teams, and no farm teams, that will help the league to become an interesting one like in the past.
1775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to LUNC after its founder is arrested?! on: September 17, 2022, 10:39:32 AM

What do you guys think?
What is the fate of the Luna Classic coin after the arrest of Do Kwon? Will after this bad news investors will continue to HODL the LUNC coin?

It's going down the drain, the arrest was expected to happen after the fall of Terra Luna, and Luna and all the other projects associated with it will fall, dump it if you have Lunam this is not the kind of project worth holding for long term profit, we've seen how it spiked in recent weeks but it will eventually go down, it's being used for pump and dump by unscrupulous traders, just ignore it there are a lot of good coins in the market and the arrest is just the beginning of Do Kwon woes, he will be sentenced for being responsible in the biggest Crypto fall out.
Then this pump is likely a trap. I really don't think there is a reason for its pump as this is not usual in the situation that the owner had faced nowadays.
I certainly expect a few days from now terrible drops are possible to see due big sell-off from the investors. I don't think it is a whale's activity but I could assume this was been a fake pump created by the members of this project.
Maybe it was best to ignore this pump and this project as we can expect nothing good from this project anymore.
1776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Going 3x this month for swing trading worth it? (Position closed, half price) on: September 17, 2022, 10:19:38 AM
I experimented with swing trading for a while, but just on paper because I seldom ever risk real money on unproven tactics. I discovered that I lost more money than I made. Although I have had great success with trend following as a method of making money, day/swing trades are now too volatile for me to profit from.
That was more intense and you can really feel the risk if you use real money and a reason why you should be careful with your decision, unlike what you have done - an experiment.

OP has the insights to achieve his goal, I know he thinks positively despite the situation. Likely, if you know how to position your trade and make it perfectly, that is certainly not possible to multiply his money. However, we can't expect that gonna happen nor do we rely on luck but with the use of TA and common instinct might it works well.
1777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else feeling let down by crypto Play to Earn gaming sector ? on: September 16, 2022, 10:30:32 PM
With DeFi projects struggling to regain trust since LUNA's collapse, and the current bear market I think this was the perfect time for the play to earn gaming sector to explode, or at least to gain traction in the way Axie Infinity did in early 2021.
All back to the hype of crypto itself. Not all DeFi is represented by a LUNA crash right? there are still many DeFi projects that survive and remain in the crypto circle that is trusted by investors and traders. P2E games are busy among gamers, but they are too interesting for those who prefer to invest directly in their crypto and not participate in the game.
Well, it was to say that P2E games is very interesting last year, and the promotion to this platform is so aggressive but as the hype has been done, only real gamers will think that they can still make money from it. And besides, it was not just all about earning as they also had fun doing this. But for those who just after for money while playing this, it was unfortunate that many of them are leaving because they have noticed that the price is not worth it anymore.
But actually, I don't see a reason to see that the crypto gaming sector will put an end, however, only reliable games will be able to survive.
1778  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: September 16, 2022, 09:57:32 PM
I'd see not all are too lucky to have been known or successful at a very young age, and sometimes it was even a surprise. But, it was to believe that everyone has their own destiny, we never know exactly where we going. However, as long as we are still alive and never quit on what we aim for, I think we still have the chance.

While our age is increasing, our experience also increases which means that our chances also are increasing. That is why most of these people as OP had mentioned gain their fame when they are old and that was because their job is not also easy and also, only a few people recognized their artworks.
1779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 16, 2022, 09:05:50 PM
If we based it in their recent performance, having Westbrook in the line-up won't definitely help them and might be best if they will acquire another point guard that is much more reliable. But it seems that Darvin Ham has another game plan if the Westbrook remains in the team, and that's what I wanted to see because the Lakers should just accept their defeat when they acquire Westbrook and just give the man his chance as this will be his last season based on his contract.

Westbrook is not only the reason why the Lakers failed last season. Almost all of them are the reason, from coach, players, and their bench. There are times that Westbrook is ending up with good stats in that game but it doesn't recognized. The injuries of their main players are also one of the reasons.

We can only see if Westbrook is really a problem if he will able to play with Lebron James and Anthony Davis in a complete game in a whole season. Westbrook played 78 games last season and he was part of the starting lineup in that 78 games. He is more healthy than Anthony Davis that even consistent in good numbers, that was all useless as he was always injured a becomes a soft big guy.

Yes, Westbrook didn't failed the Lakers organization but I don't know why he is taking the blame for it when it was the last coach who made plenty of mistakes like why he transitioned the team into small ball when most of the players can dominate the game by using their size advantage. We also saw how Howard got small minutes lately when he can still help the team by any means if he can get enough minutes, instead he is just averaging 10 mins.

It's just that Lakers and the people put a heavy load on Westbrook's shoulders and expect him to reach that high standards without giving him some time to adjust from being a role player to just a supporter.

Because of the system of the Lakers, it was Westbrook who resulted not perform well, people based his previous stats and the current stats with the Lakers and they saw a big drop, so it's normal for them to think that Westbrook is not fit with the Lakers. If it's really the coach that is the problem, then we can assume that Westbrook will be back with great stats this new season.
1780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: September 16, 2022, 08:43:35 PM
^ There is really something wrong with Jerwin in that fight against Martinez. It's not that he change his style and decided to be a brawler, I'm not saying that it's an excuse, but perhaps the weight as they have confirmed already is the biggest factor for their lost. Now, they have the rematch at hand, they know what they did wrong in the first fight. So it's either Jerwin win convincingly so that it won't cast any doubt, or if he losses again, there should be no excuses. And the next fight should be in the higher weight for Jerwin.

You are right, if he losses again, there's no reason for him to stay if he will still have the same excuse but it's nice if he will not just make an excuse and just accept his defeat. We know boxers love to make an excuse but losing twice, I think it's pretty much convincing that Martinez is just the better fighter that deserves to be a champ.
