1881  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: August 12, 2022, 10:45:40 PM
$100k is too much for this year. I'd see no way to make it reach knowing that we are in this bear condition, in fact, we even hard to reach $30k, too far from the said price.

I know $100k is not impossible in here but that only may happen during the bull season, after halving. People are even preparing for that time to come, that was 2-3 years from now. Many are expecting another ATH that time and another record to break. Yes, we absolutely not to miss that chance and the opportunity now to buy cheap coins.
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a crypto that won't depend on BTC anymore on: August 12, 2022, 10:14:07 PM
The majority of investors and traders are increasingly understanding crypto fundamentals before investing, is there any crypto that moves itself according to its fundamentals both now and in the future?
I'd come to that way thinking sometimes but unfortunately, I'd just fail looking at them because the reality is that BTC dominates the market and altcoins are there to follow the trend. You might see some do the rallies, it pumps suprisingly but that because of whales manipulation and it was not for long-term which I think that was we looked for. I see how good to see such project that won't rely on Bitcoin but I think we have to accept that this is how the crypto market works, they stick together and once Bitcoin fall, the entire market will fall as well.

Congrats SMB backers, hehe.. It's time to celebrate because not only SMB won, but they also covered the spread. Luckily Meralco committed bad turnovers and that's the reason why SMB easily won and covered. Advance congratulations, see you in the Finals soon.

Yes, of course, that's a big win for them.

When SMB is ahead and playing a closeout game, they usually succeed because Fajardo gets better in that kind of situation. Perez led the SMB, and Cruz contributed big as well, if these two will play consistently, they will surely gonna win in game 6.
1884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 12, 2022, 12:30:44 PM
They are not a championship team IMO, they are just entertaining to watch because of their great offense but their defense is really bad that's why they struggle against a good defensive team. It's the first time that CJ has no Robin, so if Blazers will succeed, it's solely because of his leadership.

They cannot be a championship more now that they let CJ go with replacing a superstar player. Lillard alone cannot make this team a championship team, his best way to have a chance to win a ring is to pair with a superstar, someone that would still respect him as the lead star, and that would mean keeping his current team.
1885  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Going To Fall Below The Previous 20k ATH possible? on: August 11, 2022, 11:37:35 PM
I believe that the second half of 2022 will be positive, July is the start of a revival, prices rise from $18k to over $23k, investors earn more than 30% profit within a month if they buy when the price dips and sell now, but I suggest to keep buying, the opportunity for rising is very big and makes me optimistic that August will reach $40k.
Over two weeks now bitcoin has been moving up and down positively and the many people recinto jubilation especially people that hold cryptocurrency for long time. And from your observation I believe that cryptocurrency will have a good u turn within the month of September and October in this year 2022. Bitcoin is coming up I seen that cryptocurrency is also increasing in so many countries that inflation he's holding.so I believe that there is a lot of improvement over cryptocurrency in July and it will keep on going
We have just to believe and think that the market will not be always on the downtrend, ups are still possible despite the current situation. I'd see the sacrifice made by these investors but they seem not hopeless believing that there is still the chance to see Bitcoin rallying back high someday. This year is somewhat uncertain but predicted that the bear season remains until December and might be extended in the 1st quarter of 2023.
1886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH could take over. on: August 11, 2022, 11:02:09 PM
I like to know the parameters to access ethereum doing better than bitcoin. The record we can expect is eth having a value above 0.13 BTC. Maybe also the coinmarketcap of ethereum above bitcoin and perhaps in dominance. Bitcoin knows how to manipulate the price more than
They just look at the price trend since ETH is moving high while Bitcoin dump, they are moving in different directions quite sometimes. But honestly, this is not how we measure it. Perhaps, we don't need to compare them as they are not competing with each other as they don't have the same network. The idea of saying ETH could take over will not really exist as we know that this never happens, maybe IF Bitcoin will die and only ETH will remain.
1887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about smart contract projects on: August 11, 2022, 02:18:49 PM
Do you think that games on solana blockchain will do better than those on ethereum blockchain? Also after the Ethereum PoS switch will other projects matter? If Ethereum can finally fixed its gas fee and have a limited supply wouldn't Ethereum blockchain be more attractive than every other?.
They are quite improving, right? What just they did is all about making them strong and a sort of healthy market competition and I believe they are providing good services to their clients for the sake of making them known to the community. But people are very focused on the fees without seeing the other side of Ethereum which we are supposed to look at as well.
What matter most now is seeing them continue to improve and likely to prove that they are worthy of our trust.
1888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 11, 2022, 10:08:11 AM
Since then, Blazers is not participating or involving in getting a big name in post-season and free agency. If they keep on doing that, Dame might end up as one of the good players in the league who didn't experience a championship.
Will be in line with Steve Nash, Barkley, Reggie, and probably near what happened to Iverson.
Dame played 29 games last season and I wish it will be better this year. Injuries are such a pain in their ass especially when you are in the prime of your career.
But that should not be the case with the Trail Blazers, there should be players that would step up their game when he was unable to play just like when the Warriors don't have Klay, Green, or Steph. They had Poole who makes the impossible win, possible.
Let's see who will do it, will it be Simons or will it be the number 7th pick Sharpe who will bring more energy when Dame needs rest?

Maybe we can think of considering him winning an MVP sin he is the only sole superstar of the team, he will get more minutes and more production but what I wished more is that the Blazers will reach the playoffs although not expected.

He will only become an MVP if his team will also be competitive, well, Blazers is still a good team IMO, with Lillard's leadership, they still have a shot in the playoffs but not sure they will stay longer, most probably they will be eliminated in the first round. However, all this still defends on Lillard's health because if Lillard's get injured, his team will definitely suffer.
1889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: August 11, 2022, 09:44:22 AM
And now Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions is hyping his fighter Ryan Garcia who is also moving up in weight the same as Lopez. De La Hoya mentioned that Tank Davis and his team aren't serious about fighting KingRy since they get no replies. So now De La Hoya shifted on Teofimo and said that he will be watching Teofimo's upcoming fight.

That would be a great match, but first, Teo has to beat Campa impressively so the hype will continue and they will have a big fight although it's not a championship fight since both are moving up in weight. Maybe the winner of that fight will challenge the current champion.
1890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have started teaching Bitcoin to my Neighbors on: August 10, 2022, 11:39:47 PM
OP, honestly I salute your courage to teach Bitcoin to your neighbours. I don't find it convenient a thing to do with those around me for privacy sake. I can teach people online or get a neutral place (I can go to their homes to teach it if invited and I've the urge to go) but I find it a big risk inviting people to my home for that. We are at a time in a world that calls for safety and precaution. I hope you've your safety antenna on, anyway.
You also should congratulate those neighbors because of their curiosity, OP had the courage and confidence to try and teach them about bitcoin, if I assume that they're from Philippines, I am pretty sure that it's difficult for someone to ask someone regarding money stuff especially if there's earning involved. To OP, more power to you and hopefully these students of yours will continue what you did and teach them to other people.
Because they are willing to learn and that is why they are also willing to spend their time doing this, unlike in the other country(ies). Actually, this is not about asking who wants money because for sure everyone does but this is all about who is willing to listen and change their mindset. Apart from that, these people make believe that OP has the capabilities to teach them and clearly give them the understanding of crypto, about Bitcoin, that it brings them to hell and scams them.

3-1 TNT series lead by 2 it's a good play for TNT team they have a good teamwork mikey willams, Jason Castro, Rr pugoy,  troy rosario and the mvp of the game a 6 foot 8  John Paul "Poy" I. Erram has a good number of points tonight with a dunks. Congratulations for TNT fans who will win in the match.
What do you think in game 5 does magnolia got another points or The TNT team will be advance to the finals. What are your thoughts and opinions?

Great game, no way Magnolia will come back and win the series, they failed to even the series and now TNT might likely end the series in 5. I was thinking that Magnolia will even the series, but it turns out the game was not even close.

It's really hard mow for Magnolia to win these series they can win another game and that's very possible but also TNT can take this series in game 5, with the teamwork TNT showed earlier the kind of championship caliber group who knows where to find the offensive gunner. They are moving the ball well and they also got a good defense that's really give them the upper edge.

Hopefully Magnolia will win gae 5 to extend the series, but it's really a tough match-up for them once the Texters start to heat up.

TNT is very unpredictable, Magnolia cannot only stop Williams and expect a win because everyone on the TNT roster are playing hard and making sure they'll make a big contribution. Today, it was John Paul Erram who played well and help his team to dominate the Magnolia in a crucial game.

1893  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: August 09, 2022, 11:30:05 PM
Do you think social media is now becoming more a place for business than socializing, Could it be as a result of digitalization and things moving online or more people now starting business online because of need to somehow generate income or another source of income for self to survive the economic situations which is becoming tougher?

Well, that is better to see social media as more of a place for business than just socializing alone, as it gives a lot of opportunities for those who are business minded and are already doing their businesses. It all started when pandemic hits the world, and even if we live in a new normal now, the social media remain to be a great outlet for business, and has even grown more.
But unfortunately, social media now gives a huge opportunity for scammers to fool people and make money easy. I wasn't believing how this turned out this a reason that many people will not be preferred to make business on social media is because of this thing. I would love to see this become a tool for business programs and advertisements but they need to regulate it and never allow scammers. But if they can't, better keep social media only for socializing purposes.
1894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: August 09, 2022, 11:36:58 AM
I think this is only for the Canelo vs Bivol prediction, Bivol was really the underdog in that fight and even pro boxers pick Canelo to win, and he should be dominating Bivol.

But going on to this fight, for sure in the beginning we really like Canelo, but when he started to be the cash cow and can get all the things he want, like being tested with PED but he was able to get away with it without any repercussions. Then he become arrogant and brandish and thinks that no one can beat him not even GGG. And it was clear day and night robbery by the jury, in the first fight and then worst on the second. So for us boxing fans, we want to see GGG win with a statement, stoppage/TKO/KO.

Although I never made a bet for the Canelo vs Bivol fight, I never expected Bivol to win. There was so much hype related to Canelo before the match and most of the sportsbooks gave very low odds for Bivol. Everywhere I could read posts claiming that Canelo was unbeatable. And what happened during the match was something entirely different. Bivol completely dominated the match. I watched the highlights, and I don't think that Canelo won a single round out of a total of 12. It was completely one-sided.

Most of us thought that he would win because he came from a big victory and has become an undisputed fighter, it was his first attempt to move up in weight. So we were so excited to see him fight a natural big and Bivol IMO was not popular so we didn't study him so much, but what we saw was Bivol dominating the fight, clearly.
1895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 09, 2022, 11:07:04 AM
In a meeting with Nets owner Joe Tsai, Kevin Durant reiterated his trade request and informed Tsai that Tsai needs to choose between Durant or the pairing of general manager Sean Marks and coach Steve Nash.
So, how is KD going to get a coach fired who, he himself handpicked? haha. I guess he's done that before.
.
It's quite hilarious too. But I think his reasons are understandable. With him not fully hitting his potentials due to injuries, I still see him as a start up fave for the season, but if Tsai has got his sights on new signings, he'd have to let Durant go as the player seems unhappy and does not have faith in the teams direction.

They have good roosters already and I think Durant is just upset because the drama happen to their organization, he is also been bashed about cannot lift out a team and he needs curry that's why he think about going on another title contender team to get higher chance to win a championship next season. And its good for Tsai to give what Durant wants because if they continue to keep him on the rooster then maybe they will get another upset next season.

He made it public already, a player demanding to be traded, that simply implies that he doesn't wanna play with the team anymore. Nets were hype when they acquired Durant and Irving, but now, this team has become a disaster and most likely end up not getting in the playoffs due to the drama inside.
1896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe ? on: August 06, 2022, 12:45:26 PM
Not 100% safe but at least, using Binance exchange is somewhat safer than others.
However, it is a need for you OP to be careful, we know how these scammers acted. It is also better to consider the offer and don't get fooled by those traders who offer you high, we have to anticipate the possible things to happen as this is usually a trick by scammers.

But if you are not really comfortable doing P2P, think about spot trading as your next option.
1897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries have banned Bitcoin; Do you believe is because of criminal activities on: August 06, 2022, 11:35:55 AM
They all have many excuses and some personal beliefs about Bitcoin. Whether they are right or wrong (mostly), that was their decision and we don't need to argue until such time they will realize that they are wrong.
 * increase illegal activities
 * Fraud
 *scam

We mostly heard these things - but actually, all of them already exist before Bitcoin which is why their claims are wrong.
1898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Early Adopters rich? on: August 06, 2022, 10:16:17 AM
I believe that there are two types of early adopters: the wise early adopters and the foolish early adopters. The wise early adopters who became rich are those who believe in the future of bitcoin and never wavered despite the numerous bear markets. Then the foolish early adopters where those who bought bitcoin out of FOMO. They were weak hands and when the market crash happened, FUD overtook them and quickly sold of their coins. Now they are living in regrets and telling stories of how they were the first to buy bitcoin at $20 many years ago.
Then LogitechMouse is right, YES AND NO. Perhaps, that was really going to happen and even to say that Bitcoin welcomes everyone doesn't mean that all who invest in this went successful and become rich. Many of these early adopters had also failed and might suffer losses because of some misconceptions and market worries, and not all of them had the courage to hold longer but easily got panic upon seeing the price decline.

Maybe if can bring back the past and start over again, I know nobody will ever sell their Bitcoin and spend it wrongly but rather hold it until now.
1899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 06, 2022, 08:50:22 AM
Danny Garcia lost to Spence by decision so that's probably the reason why he is crediting Spence a lot. It's like, he is still a force to reckon with because he lost to the best guy in the division. Though I seldom read nor hear any interviews from Danny Garcia and his twat dad, I did follow his career even before he became a world champion. He and especially his dad always feel they are the center of the boxing world.

The better way to listen to or read an analysis IMO is from Kell Brook and Shawn Porter as both fought Spence and Crawford. Timothy Bradley haven't faced Crawford and Spence but I do like his non biased analysis too. I'll bet all these 3 fighters will probably say Crawford is way way better than Spence if asked between the two.

These boxers refer to their own experience that's why their judgment is biased toward a specific boxer. It does make sense that they will have a view like that since they feel the strength of that boxer for real. About Danny Garcia's analysis that Spence is too strong for Crawford since he has experience fighting Spence, that's where his statement came from disregarding the other advantages that Crawford has.

I agree with you that a good analysis should come from a boxer that has experience fighting those who will be faced off. They can exactly determine the difference between those 2 boxers and their analysis is closed to being perfect and accurate.

Although in the end, no one knows what will be the final result.

Danny Garcia might say that Spence is better than Crawford, but I would believe more on Shawn Porter who faced both boxers and IIRC, Porter said that Crawford is the better fighter, so maybe if we listen to this guy, we will have a good basis and we will not be biased.
1900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 06, 2022, 08:26:03 AM

Now with regards to Dragic, I believe that he will still be given near 20 MPG there and at the same time, he will help those young players to develop even further. They are the team that surprised me at the start of the season last year because of how good they are as a team and they even reached the top spot IIRC but because of injuries, they slowly fell down in the standings. I hope that they will not get injured this upcoming season (though it's inevitable) and their new players will help the team in their own way.

Bulls will now have a veteran and a good point guard, an experience Dragic will definitely help the team. Their roster IMO is already a championship team, if they were only healthy last season, they have a chance to advance, so hopefully in the coming season, as their chemistry gets stronger, being healthy will definitely help them to be a championship team.

Based on the stats, he only has an average of 7.3 PPG last season, not good since he was averaging double digits in his previous teams like Miami and Phoenix.
