4201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: can you trade forex without technical analysis? on: October 08, 2016, 02:40:25 PM
Although, I am not a trader but the reason why I haven't started is no other than the fact of the knowledge of technical analysis which I am yet to possess in which is also applicable to Forex, at the same time I also believe that Technical analysis will not be the absolute determining factor as sometimes the issue of subjectivity will have to come in but that would be after the Technical part as been mastered.
4202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What I love about Bitcoin on: October 07, 2016, 06:58:08 PM
CONSISTENCY

I wasn't active for a few weeks on the forum because I had some personal issues to sort out, I wasn't even using the internet that much, so basically I haven't checked anything about Bitcoin in the last weeks. I havent kept up with bitcoin news, and I havent kept up with the price, or the roadmap of the community.

And yet nothing has changed, bitcoin is still 540 EUR, just about the same as I last checked it, looks like it bounces between the 520-560 EUR price range. Yea I wish it would go up to 20,000 EUR, but even if it doesnt go up, at least it doesnt go down.

So even though I havent kept up with bitcoin for 3 weeks, I didnt had to worry about the price going to 0 EUR, this stability is what I love.

So I think the price is pretty much stable, the hardfork debate still goes on, but only made up of shills at this point, so I dont even care about it anymore. Bitcoin Core rocks, looks like the 0.13 version has been smoothly introduced. Segwit is on the horizon and bitcoin will probably have a bright future ahead.

So it's this stability and consistency what I love, the price is pretty much stable now, and I dont have to worry about people physically stealing my BTC, or the "BTC company" going bankrupt, it just feels so good, passive investment, that doesnt need babysitting.

Basically it's total financial independence, and it's very safe in my opinion.

On the other hand, I checked my e-mail and I got 10 mails from my bank asking me to open a savings account and apply for life insurance....

Really banks? So you are spamming my email to sign up for a savings account that wont give me returns exceeding inflation and I have to risk bail-ins.

I dont have a savings account since 2014, and they are desperate to make me re-open it. I hardly keep any money in the bank now, times are too uncertain.

I also read about negative interest rates and an incoming financial collapse that could wipe out all banks in europe. So no thank you.

I can hardly imagine how a rich person that has say 10,000,000 EUR in his savings account must feel, he must be chewing his fingernails 24/7 being in panic mode, and everytime he reads the financial news he is an inch close to a heart attack.

So with a  savings account I have to constantly check my e-mails if the bank fees are changed or the rules of transaction, while also have to check the news because I cannot know when the interest rates will drop to say -50%. It can literally happen any minute in this atmosphere of crisis.

Also I cannot know when the bank goes bust and takes my money with him in bail-ins, which is just outright theft.

So yea, i think Bitcoin is safe and reliable, and above all consistent. While a bank is literally a casino at this point. So I'd rather use BTC, it gives me so much independence.

Tell me how do you feel about this?

What I love basically which is the fundamental to me is the anonymity which I can transact anonymously accross borders and countries without facing all unnecessary bottlenecks of government all in the name of verification another is the flexibilty and partial coonsistency as the price within a particular range in relative consistent which will to a large extent aid decision making.
4203  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: October 07, 2016, 06:31:55 PM
Just complete the sentence with your thoughts... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..."

Actually what I do is just convert my Bitcoin earned for a particular period of time at intervals to get some basic needs but now I have a better understanding to wait a little longer because the price yesterday is even lower than the next week so in conclusion I will only sell all, only I'm convinced and satisfied with the price as at the time of selling.
4204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple Pay vs Bitcoins on: October 07, 2016, 06:03:42 PM
When you go into a store and want to buy goods. You can either wave your apple watch og iphone at a terminal at the register. It will take you around - 3 seconds.

Or you can pull out your smartphone. Log into your wallet. Scan someones 2D bitcoin code. Send them some bitcoins, wait for the transaction to be verified, and then take your goods and go.. total time 10mins +

Can someone tell me how bitcoins will ever stand a chance?

Based on your analysis of the current situation its very obvious that !itcoin does not stand a chance but don't forget that Apple that you are making reference to didn't get there one day so I believe in few years Bitcoin will get there even the speed of transaction witnessed today is not like that in the earlier years of its existence.
4205  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is amazon will be accepting bitcoins in the future? on: October 07, 2016, 06:01:47 AM
Soon or later they will accept the bitcoin without any doubts because I'm pretty sure that the bitcoin is gonna rise to a higher amount soon or later.
Its just a matter of time before Amazon will step in !

Amazon will accept bitcoin once they see important reason to accept is even the price flucutates so much.

But there are lots of third party websites that has a service to be able to use our bitcoin to purchase things from Amazon.

Any right thinking business management will move in the direction of the generation in their own interest because if they don't, they have themselves to blame same thing with Amazon in this case but in as much one wants to leap its necessary to look before doing that this concerns the various infrastructure to be put in place, controls and most importantly LEGALITY. So, all this put together will see Amazon accepting Bitcoin directly but not anytime soon.
4206  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: October 06, 2016, 09:24:05 PM
people who want to short time and ready to take any risk, he will choose gambling, i have friend who get profit 1bitcoin in 1roll but the risk is very high and i not recomending you to use this way.

for secure way to get rich we need action, act what we think then we will get problem and use the problem as our motivation to growing.
I think only 1 out of 100 peoples may become rich like this and it will also not last long and other will only become poor rather than rich by gambling so certainly i am not going to recommend gambling,if you wish to become rich.
I want to ask you? What do you only want to rely on your luck just to get rich? lol I think if you really want to be rich then do a sure thing by working and collecting money from the income you get from your job if you are consistent you may become rich

The only chance for us to be rich is only when we are lucky, we should rely on luck otherwise we will lose than we win. But do not focus on gambling because your chances of getting rich is very low, better invest in a more legitimate business or invest in bitcoin itself.
I totally disagree with that position because I don't think ever heard that people get rich as a result of chance as you have said people in my own opinion get rich by having the conviction of getting rich and not only that and by working assiduosly towards that. That is the only way I know starting small, investing it working more amounts to riches and not by waiting on probabity.
4207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: October 06, 2016, 02:04:17 PM
Betting on sport = gambling?
Please write your mind.

Yes Bro According to me Betting is a Gambling Because Here We Risk Our Money And It Depends Upon Our Luck But Here the Winning Odds Depends Upon Our Experience and Knowledge About the Particular Sports Event....

To me too, it is pure gambling so far you it invloves a situation where you have to put your resources on the line to get a certain return in excess of what you initially put into it then it is gambling coupled with the risk you have to take to get that return then I conclude it is no different than gambling.
4208  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do? on: October 06, 2016, 12:13:51 PM
That would be a joyful thing to me and would mean the end of poverty to major climes of the world imagine just possessing a ten percent of that and then converting that to FIAT in my local currency, then I am sure and definitely certain I am rich and won't bother to work my ass off any longer. But this is just hope and speculation in which the chance of happening is slim.
4209  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: October 06, 2016, 10:34:35 AM
In all sincerity, I don't see bitcoin taking over from dollar not now not in the future the dollar has been so established for centuries that even countries who don't have their currency as dollars would keep their external reserves in dollars without thinking about legaliszing Bitcoin, then I ask myself when is the time Bitcoin will take over or how long will bitcoin stays with us? These are factors and this is in addition to the fact that Bitcoin is even expressed in dollars by most exchange sites to know the real value of the coin.
4210  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: If I want to open a betting site, where I have to buy the server? on: October 06, 2016, 10:15:32 AM
starting your own server is most beneficial and is most secured in that you will not share your info to any third party. while if you will use someone else server then the owner of that server will have access to your details.

Although I agree that the best is to build one's server from the scratch as a result of security and compromise which might be the other of the day when hosted on some other server but the issue we need to consider here is the cost implication of this as the cost of building a server might be killing compared to hosting it as we have some service providers that are reputable in providing the hosting service in the most reputable way.
4211  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How can i pass on my bitcoins in case i die? on: October 06, 2016, 08:28:03 AM
The only answer I can think of to this Op's curiosity is to show them how to go about it I mean your closest person, I am sure that person will also want to get involved because I don't see anyone who doesn't want to make extra income in apassive way and Bitcoin surely provides that. But if you don't want that another way to go is to to a pre-recorded video of a step by step approach to gain access toyour coins  kept in your safe location which can only be found after your demise.
4212  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do i have to pay tax on bitcoins ? on: October 06, 2016, 08:00:17 AM
With my little knowledge of how tax works, every tax is backed by an Act of Parliament which will state the income that will be subjected to that tax and any income outside the specified one will be taxed under a different tax or not taxed at all and they will look for a way to bring such income into the tax net. As it relates to relates to Bitcoin since most countries have not expressly accepted its existence, then there is no tax on it since literally, it does not exist.
4213  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Would it be legal to create new crypto? on: October 06, 2016, 06:41:30 AM
I am from India and bitcoin is not illegal here nor it is regulated.Reserve Bank, the central bank, says it is still watching bitcoin revolution www.indiabitcoin.com/reserve-bank-of-india-governor-raghuram-rajan-speaks-about-bitcoin/ .
My question is if I create a cryptocurruncy (Some new Alt coin),will I be doing something illegal? Can I be put behind bars for creating a parallel currency,if it gets widely accepted?

I think if you not growing fast that will be ok. if it growing fast, then you get stop by india government
i think it is false news because if you are legally wining a good amount of money then how can your government stop you from earning more bitcoin?

From my readings so far, I dont think it is expressly stated in most countries that creation of crypto currency is illegal as most laws are just silent about the matter and countries are waiting for things to unfold before taking the next line of action probably because they are pre-occupied with more mundane things. However, where the concern is is USA as there are serious regulations one have to comply with if youre to to deal with cryptos thats why some exchange or service providers exclude people from this country.
4214  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: October 06, 2016, 06:17:28 AM
I always split my money mainly revenue from bitcoin. I use it mostly for trade and partly for my hold until prices rise. It will be able to make the money I save into more. Sometimes I also use it to gamble, but it was not often.

Well, managing my money is not something I am only good at but also great at and I take pleasure in it. Without even reading any major book or famous author quote about money. I only keep to basic rule I design for myself which is whatever will happen, to go broke, and the second one which is your expenses in relation to your income will make you broke soon then look for other means to increase your income as soon as possible so as not to fail rule 1.
4215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bubble of the central banks will burst soon on: October 06, 2016, 06:06:30 AM
That was the headline I saw on the internet earlier today. What kind of impact on bitcoin will it have when it happens?

Although, I would really want to know the basis for the position the author of the article but I don't think the burble burst of the central bank would neccecsarily means a boost for bitcoin because things does not just work white and black just like that as the world financial system have faced serious crisis in the the past and they were able to come out of it even before the advent of bitcoin.
4216  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why there is only a few signature campaigns on this section? on: October 05, 2016, 06:54:53 PM
I suppose that those companies aren't really that interested in a signature campaign. Depending on the company, they could already have a high amount of people using their services so they may not even need a signature campaign.

I want to believe that its actually about timing that campaigns come out because currently on the forum quite a number of campaigns are really going on and by my count, nothing less than 15 going on in relation to Bitcoin and other campaign in relation to ALTs in their own category not even counting the number of Twitter campaigns as well as Facebook campaigns going on currently. This might no be the same as at the time Op posted this that why I      lay emphasis on timing.
4217  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do you earn from bitcointalk? on: October 05, 2016, 06:47:11 PM
The best way are signature campaigns but you can also offer services and earn a lot. My record is 90$ in one month. Good luck! Smiley

This is quite decent to earn as a result of posting on a forum simply by expressing opinions on matters based on your perceptions and thinking. How I wish I can earn more of that but I know with time though not easy to really earn from signature campaign one needs to really rank up. Because even going through various campaign a Legendary rank member could earn like 0.04btc which is like $24 on a $600 range and with that multiply by 4 weeks is really something. As for me in my rank now, Im really earning low.
4218  Economy / Services / Re: Search Article writer on: October 05, 2016, 04:32:25 PM
hi,

i need a writer (with experience) to write unique article, well written, high quality article passed copyscape 100%

article = review about bitcoin casino

min 500 words + 2 images

i pay with paypal or btc

send pm with your price for 20 articles + references

thanks

It will do more if you can say the type of article you wanted I mean the area of specialization you want it and this will even save you the time of having to read and reply all PMs and later find out that what they are proposing is not what you are looking for. Also you should also set the benchmark you are willing to pay. To be on a safer side, you can equally set a range of payment you can afford.
4219  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: October 05, 2016, 04:06:19 PM
I think the before the year ends bitcoin price in exchange website will be increase and the bitcoin price too all we want in bitcoin is to succeed and this would be the year of bitcoin full of surprizes and very active potential to grow and if you see fork issue that only hurts bitcoin why is decreasing

Even with my little knowledge and exploit in the world of Bitcoin one thing I have discovered even going memory lane to the best of my knowledge is that every year is always a year of bitcoin as so many new innovations are being introduced so likewise other infrastructures and exposure being experienced day by day then I came to the conclusion that not only 2016 but 2017, 2018 etc.
4220  Other / Off-topic / Re: How long you in bitcoin world? on: October 05, 2016, 03:50:36 PM
It's my third year. I still have belief in BTC.

Third year and still a newbie? Lol... My journey into the world of bitcoin is not too long ago although I have heard about it quite a long time ago but my premonition then was it was being use for illegal activities without even taking time to move closer and do my research but about three months ago, or thereabout I started my research and readings before getting to know about the forum and since then my knowledge base has increased in a positive rate.
