4141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: October 21, 2016, 05:00:24 PM
I dont think there will be anything like tax on bitcoin since its just an evolving area where countries are begining to take interest in and to those who have interest in it are trying to or intepreting it to be illegal and so discouraging their citizens from patronizing the coin how on earth will they now tax it? To the rest their laws as at the time it was enacted never imagine the existence of Bitcoin there would not have captured it into the tax net among other reasons. Let's say five to ten years from now, then we can have new laws or amendment to old ones to take care of Bitcoin.
4142  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: October 20, 2016, 09:01:12 PM
I have had an issue with Paypal and while I was trying to look for a solution on the internet, I came across this website (https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/paypal_02.html) where everybody is complaining about Paypal. Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts.
Paypal is not scam and I think the reason for that is one cannot be totally good and also cannot be totally bad as they still have some advantage over Bitcoin in the sense that they a support board that regulate activities and can attend to issues you have in respect of fraud and the likes and  that has been a plus on their part. On the otherhand, I think the problem actually starts by not reading in details the terms and conditions or the rules governing the use of the service therefore you break a rule unknowingly and the rule is the rule for a sites with large amount of user then they are quickly to let you go if you so wish. So its not a scam but the rules are just too rigid for quite a number of people.
4143  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best bitcoin casino? on: October 20, 2016, 07:02:37 PM
I want to believe rather making list of best site I think any casino that has proven to be fair and attend to matters of users without any complain should make the list even if it started last month. What's so surprising that I see is that list are made here and there and the popular sites are always there without giving room to the ones coming up and trying to find a way part of the reason why you see a promising site then the next month its up for sale. So all sites are best site until the near future when they no longer qualifies to be called one. My opinion on it.
4144  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: October 20, 2016, 06:39:25 PM
now a days i started my previous trading work and i though it will be goodto gather a little more experiance as because all it needs in trading is holding and keeping pacents and also invest as much as you can affort to losse so i invested a medium range which if i loose will not effect me a lot

Bitcoin has equally affected my life so much more on the positive side than the negative part, the positive being that I can now make some money on the side while doing what I normally so online, aside that I get to learn about a lot of issues in the cryptoworld, I also get to be in conversation with quite a number of people from different part of the world rather than just surfing unnecessarily the internet but on the negative side I would have developed more my reading skills in being more updated about recent things in my field but above all, no regrets.
4145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DOGE or BTC gambling? on: October 19, 2016, 04:06:55 PM
What do you prefer: to bet with BTCs or DOGEs?

Do you think Dice game with DOGE coins currency increases your chances of success on automatically mode (safest when you get consecutive losses)?

In the few times I have played even if I'm going to soon its going to be with Bitcoin which is probably due to the popularity of sites that accepts the currency, also even Doge on this platform belongs to the Alt section. In the case of winning more as a result of doge is the one I won't quite agree with because since its gambling its based on chance which in my own opinion is not a respecter of the number of times you play or thee currency of play in addition to the value of such currency.
4146  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: October 19, 2016, 01:15:57 PM
I would also love to share mine, I actually have quite a number of things about bitcoin but the one thing I love most is the transactions across borders like on this forum where we have a number of people from different countries of the world transacting with one another with a currency which is now convertible to any Fiat of our individual country then I think that is so cool and that's the best I thing I love. Others are anonymity, and speed of transaction is another thing.
4147  Other / Off-topic / Re: How did you get into Bitcoin? on: October 19, 2016, 12:52:04 PM
I was unemployed for few months and I was looking some way to earn money so that it can take care of my basic needs and I started to search on google to earn money online and then I found this place.

And today, the search has payed up even as an hero member, how I wish I had make the same search some years back i would have been been better off I know that for sure. My journey is actually similar to yours but mine was as a result of where I work, as I have access to internet and somehow free and I  decide to put it into fruitful use and here is where I found myself and I have enjoyed every bit of it.
4148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: October 19, 2016, 12:45:48 PM
Putting all money in bitcoin to me have to do with people who are trading with bitcoin or those who are buying to keep for it to appreciate more then sell. For me, I dont put all my money in Bitcoin simply because of its volatility as this is on the high side in the sense that today it could rise, the next minute it could fall and even find it difficult to crawl back up and for me that needs money to meet daily needs which I also need to convert first ended up making loss. So I just keep the little I earn over a period of time then convert to used for daily needs.
4149  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like to pay bills using bitcoins while staying at home? on: October 19, 2016, 06:05:32 AM
Over here Bitcoin is not as popular in other Philippines as I cannot even think one single firm exist in thus country that accepts Bitcoin but the banking system is rather developed over here as one can do pratically everything on a mobile phone coupled with banks applications that is all encompassing that you pay bills, make reservations, flight reservations, even loan request right on your mobile without having to step into other bank.
4150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New to BitCoin, need your help please on: October 19, 2016, 05:54:05 AM
Hello, i'am very new to BitCoin.

I'am interested in mining with my Dell i7 Laltop which iam running linux on.

Could someone please explain to me what steps i need to follow in order to have my Arch Linux mine Bitcoins or LiteCoins because its easier?

I would highly appreciate your help.

Your answer have been provided even though I have not tried mining, I have read on several threads that its not economical to mine Bitcoin these days when there are large farms in China doing that and you want to compete with them, but would love to read others comment. But since your system has a high spec why dont you divert it to something else I am sure when you surf the forum you will see the need for it and will eve be more worthwhile than mining.
4151  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much bitcoins can you collect from faucets per day? on: October 19, 2016, 05:49:14 AM
Claiming faucets is actually as good way to start for some one coming new into Bitcoin believing that I should reach 1btc soon but I tell you the chance of that happening is slimmer than not happening. For me, it actually depends on the time at hand then you fell like rather than just wasting the time let me invest in claiming faucets on the average I claim around 6000 satoshis and this is due to location which can be higher for people in different country.
4152  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need some people from different countries? on: October 18, 2016, 08:28:39 PM
This idea I would say is a good one but the issue is trust considering the amount of scammers out there another is the point of convincing the suppliers especially for people from developing countries where the awareness of Bitcoin or even where it is popular what of the issue of legality as these are issue that will be standing block for this project.
4153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do people really make millions of $ transactions? on: October 18, 2016, 06:41:20 AM

Even me when I check the statistics on block chain I get to be surprised on how this large amount of Bitcoin moves and try to even convert it and I will be like wow this is a load shit of money but I think what we see is actually not storing but movement of money in thee sense that let's say a gambling site wants to pay big winners and they have to do manual approval at a time. The coins will have to be moved from their own wallet to these  people then we see it. I Dont think they will be careless enough to keep such amount in online wallets than can say "we want to do upgrade and you can't have access to your funds".

http://prnt.sc/cvl4x0

These BTC amounts are equivalent to millions of $. Do people really make such huge BTC transactions? I'm surprised. What could these transactions be for I wonder? These must be really filthy rich people who have millions of $ of BTCs. I personally would be very wary of keeping millions of my money online like this especially knowing that it isn't safe (example: mtgox and bitfinex hacks).

4154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Webmoney suspended my wallet due specific transfer. on: October 18, 2016, 06:19:14 AM
Webmoney dose have BTC Wallets, but price is higher then any exchanger and can't be transfer to anyone outside webmoney.

This is serious and complicated at the same time. Like someone has suggested that someone is claiming a charge back for the transaction, I guess there is no much thing you can do than to just follow through the process they set for you because no matter what, they will find a way in their terms which you have agreed to to justify their action so I suggest you give them whatever they ask for and hoping it gets resolved.
4155  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: October 18, 2016, 06:08:43 AM
lets see how 2016 ends first. But to be honest I hope that 2017 is going to be the year of the Bitcoin because 2016 hasnt really done much for bitcoin
We still have a couple months before 2016 is going to end so maybe something will surprise us.

The same of my position but I see 2016 as a good year maybe because I just forayed into this world, and of the opinion that it can only get better compared to people who have been around for long and have seen the good old days. I am optimistic that since I'm in already now, the good old days ate coming back and 2017 will be a good year even the remaining of 2016 can still be better.
4156  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy Bitcoin on: October 18, 2016, 06:04:42 AM
Being a US resident, why you don't buy Bitcoin directly from CoinBase?
I don't think you hit the daily limit.

Being a US citizen is now more like a burden than a blessing when it comes to digital currency because of regulations and all this tracking by agencies, even gambling sites finds it difficult to accept US players, the fear of US is the beginning of wisdom. That being said, you have presented a good case but I will suggest you try localbitcoin site as you can even get to transact physically. Also, everyone is a capitalist as you're trying to make profit, I'm also trying to make more if I will be converting the PayPal you're sending. But, I have seen case of reversal of PayPal even if its friends or family.
4157  Other / Off-topic / Re: how many people do you think knows about bitcoin in your community? on: October 17, 2016, 06:49:58 PM
Its will really be almost an impossible task to achieve for me in this part of the world  things are that are different from the status quo are not allowed or seen as outcast and anyone in that line dare not tell someone else for fear of what is unknown even though not doing anything illegal so in that case I only know of myself and exchangers one have to deal with by the way, not physical because of factors already listed above.
4158  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: October 17, 2016, 06:16:20 PM
yes i am also agree with you, there is no doubt about this that bitcoin is really the world number one world currency digital asset and hope that all the people of the world will use bitcoin at the end.

Although no one really knows what will happen in the future because no one has been given that gift of determination but one thing that I know is sure is there is a future for everything so in the case of Bitcoin, I see the future bright for it with lots of competitors coming to displace it, with governments coming with regulations also with more people getting exposed to the cryptoworld generally.
4159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Could Be the First Country to Pass a Cryptocurrency Law on: October 17, 2016, 05:57:02 PM
Russia may become the world’s first country to pass a cryptocurrency regulation law, according to the State Duma’s anticorruption and security committee deputy chairman Andrei Lugovoi.
Speaking to RBK Tatarstan, Lugovoi stated that his prime objective at Finnopolis 2016 financial forum in Kazan is to explain to the banking community that assessment of perspectives and risks of digital currencies, “understanding of their right usage” and elaboration of anonymity removal mechanisms are the top priorities in this regard.

The bolded part is something that should be of great concern to users of Bitcoin, because in as much its our wish to want to be able to transact with Bitcoin without unnecessary bottlenecks and get to pay for basic things with bitcoin or the shop next door should be able to accept bitcoin, then I tell you, it wont come cheap and since Russia is taking the lead I am sure other countries are following suit.
4160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank moving towards bitcoin soon? on: October 17, 2016, 05:23:18 PM
My own view on this whole matter about banks is that with the investment and infrastructures devoted to this, its still subjected to government approval which wont come without a cost. Even with government showing interest, then I see the cost being greater in the sense that some of what we enjoy today as users of bitcoin will be out under test where someone can send me money from another part of the world, without any regulatory or bank or government knowing then I see that eroding very fast. Among all its a development in the right direction.
