4161  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: October 17, 2016, 05:18:21 PM
I would like to buy clothes, jewellery and some outdoor products with BTC. Not only me but more often people love to shop different varieties of outfit and jewellery, and if they have the accessibility to pay through BTC this would be much easier for them(bitcoin users).

In addition to what you have just listed I want to be able to buy even food, enter the restaurant and get a good food with Bitcoin, and also want to pay for books, clothes but all the stores here are neither not aware or they don't know something like this exist or probably they are not certain about the legality of the coin. Even stores abroad that accepts the, the cost of shipping will make it not economical then its better to convert to FIAT then get what I want to get

4163  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: October 14, 2016, 12:44:07 AM
I would like to know if anyone of you earns 0.1 BTC per week or even more? Is this possible and what is best way to earn it? Your experiences, suggestions and advices are very welcomed.

I might not be in the best position to provide the answer because even me myself I'm yet to earn same but what difference is it gonna make if I can't use it then someone else can and so I will offer the advise which is simple trading will give that to the best of my knowledge-still learning though, another is gambling-be ready to lose all, another is provide a service- thats sure but might not be constant to provide every week return because of competitions and availability of clients.
4164  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where you invest? on: October 14, 2016, 12:26:26 AM
hi guys where you invest, maybe I can follow you? Undecided

This is a good question to actually satisfy a curiosity not only you, but to others as well, even me myself will be wanting to know the right or best way to put some money to generate passive income when I do gather enough for that purpose, despite the fact I know what works for A might not necessarily works for B and also that no investment is totally risk free in addition to the fact that a good investment today might turn bad the following day but its a risk I'm willing to take.
4165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please help me, what can I do with my bitcoins? on: October 13, 2016, 09:30:25 PM
Hello guys, I want this to be told in a short story.

I made a balance of 0.022btc that is equal to 14 USD ($14)

And now I want to purchase something from Amazon but I am stuck with days..

Purchasing with cryptocurrency is not possible after all..

If I could somehow purchase from amazon with bitcoins it would be so nice..

I tried buying gift card, it doesn't work in my country where I come from.

Tried Purse.io, I don't understand the concept and yet you have to wait for somebody to buy the thing, while you give him your bitcoins, so I understood that method as a trade. He buys your item, you give him the BTC..

It would be awesome if there is after all something that is a BTC shop..

There was a site all4btc,  but it appears that as many positive reviews, there are double more negative reviews, so I don't want to risk what little i have.

So, please help me how can I purchase through Ebay or Amazon using bitcoins. Please help me. Ty.

Based on your current predicament that needs solution, I would suggests the easy way out since you needed to get something with it and which is just convert to Fiat and get whatever you want to get in the shop beside you and if you are at something else to do with it, then there are several among which include donating it for a project, trading with it to make more, another is gambling with which you could make more or lose all and also you can just forget about the whole thing..
4166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: October 13, 2016, 09:22:15 PM
In future, when bitcoin will dominate in sending - receiving - depositing funds kind of bank works, I believe banks will start different type of banking like providing safe vault or mortgage kind of services alone. Banks will fall.

I don't think the banks will fall either just because of bitcoin. Remember who is with banks and that is the supreme government of a country. And I don't think that government is going to allow it for banks are really important in a cycle of an economy of a country but I think that bitcoin will be considered by government too.
Another possibility is that banks and governments will begin to create their own crypto currencies market them as the next big thing and claiming that is better than bitcoin, people being people will fall surely in the trap and that way banks will be able to make money out of crypto currencies.

Although, it would be a great and major breakthrough for everyone in the cryptoworld, but I don't see it happening at all and if it will then not anytime soon because the population to effect that is the first considering the number of people involved in the banking system, the regulation compliance there too, couple with the infrastructures in place in that sector, I dont see Bitcoin just bypassing all that and make banks disappear without a fight at least in the longterm.
4167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: October 13, 2016, 09:13:44 PM
Stealing anything that you do not own the right to is considered illegal. Hence if you manage to grab some other users private keys and use then to transfer all their bitcoin to your address, it is considered as stealing and you can get punishment for doing so if you are traced and caught.

I want to believe that determination of whether legal or illegal from the objective point of view has to do with the law and not morality which is basely determined by our individual value based system and what we attached our morality to. That being said, in cases of law which seen people let off the hook because there is no section of the law that's says it wrong so back to Bitcoin I would say it is illegal if a particular section of law makes it so but from morality point of view, taking what does not belong to you is absolutely wrong and no two ways to it.
4168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was bitcoin designed to be global? on: October 13, 2016, 07:48:42 PM
Yes bitcoin is decentralized and it's meant for whole world and even for whole universe. It has no limitation. Bitcoin will reach wherever internet and crazy people like us exists.

I would say yes because anything that promise to not ask for your data can easily be exploited for illegal purpose without knowing that good people too always value their own privacy and not willing to share. So I think with the exposure Bitcoin is getting in recent times, and scrutiny being put in place I see it as being uncomfortable for the bad guys and I am also seeing then moving to another coming to make their date more private
4169  Other / Off-topic / Re: Currently, what's your way of generating Bitcoins? on: October 13, 2016, 07:43:16 PM
My way is probably the simplest anyone can think of in the sense that since I can't code neither can I do graphics nor build website, neither have I mastered trading then I revert to the basic way of earning Bitcoin which include among others as follows:

1. Claiming faucets although annoying and time wasting
2. Signature campaign which I am doing already
3. Claim bounties for campaigns
4. Little gambling because I dont want to lose since its hard to come by bitcoin these days
4170  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I give BTC away? on: October 13, 2016, 07:38:13 PM
I want to give the smallest practical amount of BTC to friends and family to introduce them to it.
What is the best way to do this?
What are the smallest amounts that can be sensibly transferred?
Thank you.

Its very simple just ask them to create a wallet, or crate one for them and give them access to the password and make them not change it yet until they are fully ready, so in case they abandon it then you can have access to it then make the transfer also dont forget to teach them how to spend or convert to Fiat because thasts equally important and also how make more to the Bitcoin they have already as a result of bonus because that's equally essential.
4171  Other / Politics & Society / Re: John Kerry Hints Bitcoin Training is Underway at US Embassies on: October 13, 2016, 05:50:56 PM
Bitcoin may soon be required learning at US embassies.

The topic of how the nation's diplomatic institutions are preparing for digital changes came up during a recent appearance in Silicon Valley by US Secretary of State John Kerry, a former senator and US presidential candidate.

Speaking at the Virtuous Circle Conference on 10th October, Kerry was asked about the presence of a "digital officer" at embassy sites in foreign nations. Specifically, the moderator inquired whether an embassy officer "needs to be able to speak with fluency about bitcoin and dark web".

Kerry replied positively, prompting the moderator to ask if the State Department was moving to update its training regime with those technologies in mind.

According to an official transcript, Kerry responded:

"Yes. That's the curriculum we've put together. I mean, I haven't asked – there's a lot of uncertainty with bitcoin or whatever."

When I saw the headline on twitter, I actually have a mixed feelings in the sense that on one side its a good development because its going to give Bitcoin more popularity and more influence for the fact that its coming from the Secretary of State but looking at it from another angle, means its could erode the fundamental thing Bitcoin professes which is the anonymity which might be subjected to scrutiny as a result of this exercise.
4172  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: October 13, 2016, 05:14:55 PM
I've been reading this thread for a while, thought it was time I posted in it.

I'm Catholic by birth but an Atheist by choice.

I don't hate religion but there are certain aspects of religions that I do not like eg. intolerance of others, inequality of the sexes etc.

I do hate people who try to force their religion upon you in the same way that I hate anyone trying to force their opinion onto someone else. Everyone should have the freedom to choose what they believe and others should be respectful of another person's choices regardless of whether they believe the same or not.

I agree that your reasons are valid and I feel the same thing and also holding to your position but myself on the other hand I am not an Atheist and I don't think Atheist hates religion they hated the way its being practiced because I have met quite a number of them who are honest, straight forward and even patriotic and wont even converts whats not theirs compared to the "religious" people.

Another reason why people also thinks Atheist hates religion is because they have reasons for that thing a religious person will call FAITH for example praying to be rich without working.
4173  Other / Politics & Society / Re: IF Al Gore Ran as an Independent, would he win?? on: October 13, 2016, 05:05:13 PM
In today's day and age, it would be nearly impossible for an independent to win the Presidency of the United States. It seems that this year's election would be the best time for an independent to run, since both the Democratic nominee Clinton and Republican nominee Trump are two of the most disliked politicians in history, and there are many people who refuse to vote for either one of them. Until there becomes a strong third party that starts to win states in November, a Republican or Democrat will be our president for many years to come. I think Al Gore would be a strong candidate today, and I am sure most Democrats would rather have him than Hilary on the ticket.

I agree with your position because presidency on its own its a government and not about individual its a calibration of people with diverse knowledge and opinions. Aside from that, what about the cost of running the campaigns or doing the rallies, radio jingles among others. Aside that lets look at the voting population, it is a known fact that some set of people are fundamentally to a particular party and wont change their votes even if you present some one not really capable only few people have independent minds to go for anyone of which this population can make one President.
4174  Other / Politics & Society / Re: During The Coming Economic Crisis Two-Thirds Of The Country Will Be Out Of Cash on: October 13, 2016, 04:54:32 PM

The same thing I have read all over and over again, if you say we are owing then who are we owing if not ourselves, USA is owing China, China is owing United Kingdom and the circle continues. So if we run out of cash as a result of debt, then we pay someone who initially lends us the loan then this same person because he is a capitalist, wont keep this money at home but will send it out and to make additional money for him or her which means the money is back in circulation. Unless the money is owed to someone not in this world again and its not coming back then I agree that the world will run out of cash or some of the countries will run out of cash.

During The Coming Economic Crisis Two-Thirds Of The Country Will Be Out Of Cash Almost Immediately

As you will see below, a brand new survey has found that 69 percent of all Americans have less than $1,000 in savings.  Of course one of the primary reasons for this is that most of us are absolutely drowning in debt.  In fact, the total amount of household debt in the United States now exceeds 12 trillion dollars.  So many Americans are so busy just trying to pay off their existing debts that they can't even think about saving anything for the future.  If economic conditions remain relatively stable, the fact that so many of us are living on the edge probably won't kill us.  But the moment the economy plunges into another 2008-style crisis (or worse), we could be facing a situation where two-thirds of the country is in imminent danger of running out of cash.

If you are living paycheck to paycheck, you live under the constant threat of your life being totally turned upside down if that paycheck ever goes away.

4175  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you tell in public that you use bitcoin? on: October 13, 2016, 04:47:48 PM
I think it's normal to pay bitcoints wherever possible. I do not hide it. Soon they will enjoy many

Sincerely, as much as possible that I want to tell people about my exposure to bitcoin even though little as it may I find it difficult because of the environment here as the acceptance is not really deep and the perception of people about anything that is not FIAT is assume to be illegal or belongs to the underworld so, I am in  a fix so what I do is to wait for someone to be curious and then use the avenue to give proper orientation and exposure as necessary.
4176  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Scenario: The end of the world is coming. What will you do? on: October 13, 2016, 04:35:19 PM
So yea I'm just curious to see what people would do in such a scenario  Smiley Let's say the destruction of the earth is inevitable, there is absolutely nothing that can be done to save anything/anyone.
Ideally I would like people to consider separate variations of the same idea, like say the world is ending in 3 days, 1 month, 5 years, 20 years (Even in the case where world end is in 20 years, nothing can be done, no technological advancement/miracle will be able to save anyone). What will you do? How will your life change (if at all)?

Since we are assuming here, and its happening to every one in the whole world and not just me here then we are ll in the same boat. So, I will be calm to think of the next action to take since the end is inevitable. Then I would what everyone other person would probably do in my position which is go for the 20 years plan then I get married, have kids train them and wait for the end after living the world to the fullest.
4177  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Questions about the war on: October 13, 2016, 02:54:15 PM
Why in this world there is always a war?....
Until when they like it?....
Is there still no peace for our children and grandchildren in the future?....
What is your opinion?....

#Greeting the spirit and flavor of
#A.mry Cool

You war is made because of money. Big countries wants natural resources of some small countries in which they create false news to brainwash people inside in that country to destroy the president in that country. Therefore no more government rule over that country and people will receive endless war because other countries steal there natural resources.

The reasons you alluded are some of the major reasons why some country will go to war with another sometimes it might not be totally so in the sense that there are some wars being fought in countries in other to establish  sane society. And some times countries don't fight against each other they fight within themselves but the motive is always resource control. Even me I ask myself why cant we just sit down and talk and we settle issues rather than taking arms against each other but individual cannot be compared to countries interest.
4178  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you store your fiat currency? on: October 13, 2016, 08:21:57 AM
Bank account is unavoidable if you don't want to be left out in Europe. I use basically to survive: I have an insurance for the worst times. Deposit account are useless, I close them all.
One bank account is enough.

Same thing over here even though banks are still trying to capture a sizeable number of the population but for me, I run like three bank accounts for different purpose, one for day to day expenses, the next for savings and the for one-off income, in addition to keeping some cash in hand to reduce the number of going to the bank and withdraw which comes with charges as well to rip you off your resources.
4179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: October 13, 2016, 06:24:10 AM
I won't see any need to quit gambling if I'm actually making headway there the same way I won't advise anyone to do same so far you're making your bets and you're winning in addition to betting what you can afford to lose if the worse happens but that position would not be the same for someone who go every means to get resources to play only to lose and lose and lose again for that I say the best way to quit gambling is just to make a decision not to go that area and also do it gradually.
4180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: October 13, 2016, 06:06:07 AM
I tried many different gambling but all ended up quite badly. I tried dice games, live table games, slot machine, real casino, lottery and all ended up with losses and no profit. So i am not good at even one gambling games but i think that is the truth.

Lol, I dont think anyone can be good in any of the games you listed because those games are basically based on chance irrespective of the number of times or wins or loss you face. Its just chance and nothing else. For me too I am equally guilty of losing in this games you mentioned so I'm trying to develo myself on those ones that your skill matters even no matter how small by that I can limit the chances of losing which is high in games of chance alone.
