Stefanos Tsitsipas let us down again, we can see he has a lot of talent but these poor performances put me off betting on him. I bet on him to win the US Open only for some value but he is a risky bet until he is more consistent because right now he isn't. I thought that once he won the second set that he would go on and win the match but that third set was poor from him and was beaten 6-2 by an unseeded player. I think he still needs more time to mature and become more consistent with his tennis.

Yes mate, it was really a disappointment again from Tsitsipas, although I have a back up on Zverev in the US Open. I think his form is off right now, and he seems he can't get over mentally and he is breaking down and not that consistent anymore. I already lost my bet, so I won't try to stretch my luck in this tournament. Probably will just wait for the outcome, haven't check the draw but it will be good if we are going to see Nadal vs Djokovic.

Nadal is through with an easy win which we expected and same with Djokovic winning easy in straight sets.

Yeah its a shame friend as we can see he has so much talent and potential to be a top 5 player and stay there but his inconsistently lets him down in matches like we just saw in his last match. I didn't bet on anyone in this tournament as I prefer the Grand Slams to bet on.

I actually think that Lorenzo Musetti is a real dark horse in this tournament as he just beat Nishikori in straight sets, we know Nishikori isn't at his best right now but still this must give the young Italian more confidence in this tournament and may cause some more upsets.

I feel like he will have an easy job of dispatching Koepfer today. I watched both of these guys a little and Musseti has much more weapons in his arsenal. After that he will play against Djokovic probably and here I am waiting too see the odds. Whatever the odds they decide on there should be a lot of value in handicaps. I think he will be good in the first set against Djoko and then Djoko will get in his head which will result with more and more misses as the match progresses.

Edit: Another great prediction Musseti lost 6:3 6:0 and what is worse he gifted the opponent with majority of the points. I sort of expected this breakdown to happen but not against Koepfer. Musseti looked like the guy without plan B even in the matches he played good and today it just broke apart. You simply don't play a drop shot on break point when it isn't your day. In his defense he asked for a physio and had a shoulder treatment so maybe that was part of the reason for bad performance today.

I watch his first two matches very impressive start for this young guy just 18 years old and play with good confidence in third round match he lost very badly against @Koepfer 6 - 4 6 - 0 but we can say we are going to have very good player in near future if he try his best for improving his game and some skills.

Right, the kid was suffering some kind of shoulder injury that bother him in the game that's why he didn't performed as expected. But still reaching this far and beating great players along the way, I think everyone should agree that he has a bright future ahead of him. Give him a more more years and by age 20+, when the big 3 has been slowing down, and the young generations are taking over, I think his name will be there fighting Thiem's, Medvedev's or Zverev's along the way.

Well Lorenzo Musetti couldn't keep the momentum losing to Dominik Koepfer in straight sets. I would of liked to see Musetti win and go on to face Djokovic as it would of been interesting to see how well he plays against a top ranked player. Even though he lost I still think that he is one to watch in the future as he does look like he'll be a good player.

I would of liked to see Musetti win and go on to face Djokovic as it would of been interesting to see how well he plays against a top ranked player. Even though he lost I still think that he is one to watch in the future as he does look like he'll be a good player.

I would have loved to see him play Djoko as well. That match would suit him perfectly to show all the shots in his Arsenal. I did not like Musseti thinking in the match yesterday. He was a bit off his best game, possibly due to injury, and instead of going back to basics and grinding it out he went for low percentage shots which are tough to make even when you are on top of your game. That is why he lost that 2nd set with 6:0 result. Musseti is still very young so I hope he will learn as he gets more experience.

Don't see any interesting matches today (betting) so I am turning my focus on Premier League
Maybe I will include Beretini and Djoko handicap on some multi.

It will be interesting to see how Musetti will play against Djokovic, if he could have won against Koepfer. Maybe he was really suffering from the pain, wasn't able to watch the match, but as per @Trofo he suddenly switch his style and go for a low percentage shot? Well I will say that it is inexperience that might really drove him to try this one in such critical game, thus losing 6-0.

Really surprised about Djokovic match. I watched just few points here and there and it always seemed like Djokovic just broke his opponent and then he will run away with easy victory. He started with 4:0 and then lost 3 games in a row. Then he had 0:40 couple of times and did not managed to break the opponent. I don't remember that happening ever. Even against top 3 players or best servers in the world.

It is possible this discussion will soon be obsolete. Schwartzman is playing a great match and if he manages to keep this levels Nadal could be out of the tournament. If that happens I will probably try to catch some good odds on him. It is not often that you see Nadal pressured into making unforced errors on clay.

I think this whole tournament for Musetti was a very good learning experience and that he will take a lot out of this tournament and can then build from there. The good thing is as you said he is still young and has a lot more to learn and improve on his game which I think he can and has the potential to be a top 50 player in the next year or two if he stays healthy.

It’s not the same just to train or play tennis matches regularly.
For him, Roland Garros is certainly the most important tournament this year, and the most important thing for him is to be completely ready for that big tournament.

Has any of you actually watched Nadal match? I have only seen maybe a third of the match and in that parts Schwartzman was playing excellent tennis. Yes, Nadal had some unforced errors but they were the consequence of his opponent playing great. For me this match was won by Schwarczman and not lost by Nadal no matter what the stats say. If there was anybody else except Nadal or maybe Djoko on other side of the net Schwartzman would have finished this match with 30+ winners. Hope my point has been successfully explained

That's exactly what I was thinking when Nadal lost. Yes he was training while not playing tennis but as I have always said in here and other sporting threads, its nothing compared to match game fitness. I also think that he is getting his body ready for the French Open which would be his main target to get himself 100% match fitness so I think this is just a bump in the road and he'll be ready for the French Open.
