The Warriors lost as expected. They showed flashes of brilliance but their depth just isn’t what it used to be. They’re suffering from the cuts they had to make to re-sign their big 3.

Yes, it was only Jordan Poole who try to be the Steph Curry for tonight with a big 29 points. But not enough as Klay and the rest has poor shooting night again.

Harden and Embiid just make sure that this game won't slipped, combining for a big 61 points.

Just the start for the Warriors without Steph, again, someone will have to step up within their new young core, otherwise, they might end in the cellar dweller of the Western conference.

I actually think they will be fine without steph.  Think they will gel as a team and Poole will step up.  Gonna take the Poole over in points props most games.  He is going to get a ton of shots and defenses will focus on klay.

The Golden State Warriors should try to fill Steph Curry's 30 PPG and take note that it's always a consistent performance for him.

It's also worth noting that even though Curry does some monster stats per game, the Warriors sometimes still lose.

Let's see the adjustment of their players, especially those who enjoy and signed a big contract with the team during the off-season. Smiley
They started with a wrong foot, although Poole scored 29 points, but they are facing a solid team with a MVP candidate in Joel Embiid so it's hard to defeat them even if Curry could be present in the lineup just saying.

How about Magic though, they beat the best team in the East, the Boston Celtics at their own homecourt and they are now on a 5 game winning streak?

Bol Bol though scored 4 points, but they have a balance scoring lead by rookie Banchero and Wagner.

Kyrie Irving hit an incredible game winner tonight to beat the Raptors at the buzzer with a three on a step back. A rare piece of good news for Kyrie after all his recent drama with Nike and his Twitter post.

The Warriors lost as expected. They showed flashes of brilliance but their depth just isn’t what it used to be. They’re suffering from the cuts they had to make to re-sign their big 3.
Big, big game-winner for the man with so much pride, well he should be really proud now. The execution was perfect, he didn't worry too much about the time, use some of that handles, and then a step back three. Amazing.
5 straight wins for the Brooklyn Nets now. Another great thing about that game is they are down by 18, and they returned in the 3rd quarter. 36 points over 22 of the Raptors.

Warriors on the other hand will struggle more, that kind of game with Klay Thompson around is not what I am expecting. Looney stepped up his game with almost a triple-double 1 assist shy but that will not be enough.

A good bounce back from the LA Lakers after a disappointing defeat against the Celtics in their previous game, but unfortunately, AD as usual, got injured again and did not come back to the game. Hope it's not that serious or another long term injury as they are slowly picking up the pace and started to get good wins against a good teams.
Tonight, they got a huge W against the Nuggets without AD in the 2nd half. Westbrook was spectacular with a triple double and controlled the game late in the 3rd down to the 4th quarter.

Good win by the Lakers as well, it was a very close game, until late in the 3rd quarter when they got the momentum and continue it to the 4th. Another triple double for Westbrook, Reaves, Pat Bev hitting 3's outside and so is Dennis the Menace.

But the whole story is AD, looking to be injured again as he has to take a sit.

And then the old Lebron, can still dunk and run and deliver at the other end with a dunk.

Yeah, probably some anxious moments for the Lakers to see Davis again, limping and so he has to take a break and see the extend of that injuries. Really fragile big man, but hopefully he will be ok and just needed to rest that ankle or what part is injured.

Huge W for the Lakers at home, at least they didn't choke in the team and play as a coherent team with Lebron taking the leadership. Like the game of WB tonight, easy triple double and then attacking the basket when everyone thought that he will make a pass. While big man Thomas Bryant has his way against Jokic and scoring big 21 points.

I personally think it's an end of an era with Warriors and they should think to trade some players if they still want Curry to be a on his top level for next year , because this year seems already like a lost one for them.

Then, we have Nets , who are kinda looks unstoppable in the last games , right ? Last night , VanFleet was simply on a godlike level but even with that , they couldn't even push the game to OT because Irving , like it or not , he is still one of the greatest in the current NBA era.

My team Bulls ...another game of massive disappointment and I don't think they have the passion anymore to fight for play-offs spots Sad. Such a sad day for me when I look on Bulls.

I personally think it's an end of an era with Warriors and they should think to trade some players if they still want Curry to be a on his top level for next year , because this year seems already like a lost one for them.
The Warriors are still on the top when it comes to offense. Number one in three points made and 5th in percentage and the 4th in points per game. The problem with the team right now is their defense. They are at the bottom this season when it comes to their defense compared to where it was last year. The change of players affected their defense for sure and we know that defense is a big key to a team's win. Just look the Celtics last season. They're one of the best, if not the best defensive team and they converted it to better offense thus, they went to the NBA Finals.

Then, we have Nets , who are kinda looks unstoppable in the last games , right ? Last night , VanFleet was simply on a godlike level but even with that , they couldn't even push the game to OT because Irving , like it or not , he is still one of the greatest in the current NBA era.
The Nets who started 2-5 on their first 7 games are now 16-7 on their last 23 games and now they are the 4th spot.

Durant is now on the MVP race after that bad start and now averaging close to 30 PPG while Kyrie is close to 25 PPG. Simmons is kind of silent still but he's still helping the team in any way he can. The expectation of the team changed when they changed the coach, and it seems like he's a good fit for the team. The Nets will enter the playoffs if they play like this all throughout the season and I just hope they will not get injured especially KD and Kyrie.

It's a good win by the Lakers against the 3rd best team in the west. Aside from Lebron, the rest of the team really step up when needed most. But of course, this is just 1 regular game and they need AD. Maybe tomorrow there will be results already on AD's injury, I am not a Laker fan but of course, we want all these athletes to stay healthy to make the league more competitive.

On the other hand, my Miami Heat, at last, entered the top 8. Cheesy Although it is still tied with the Atlanta Hawks and Indiana Pacers. Miami has also a cute 3-game-win streak against mediocre teams.

It's too early to conclude, let's see first what they can do this season.
If they'll qualify in the playoffs, that would change everything as they are very dangerous in the playoffs, and who knows, they might win a championship again.

Then, we have Nets , who are kinda looks unstoppable in the last games , right ? Last night , VanFleet was simply on a godlike level but even with that , they couldn't even push the game to OT because Irving , like it or not , he is still one of the greatest in the current NBA era.
Nets are usually good in the regular season, but they have to prove that they are a good team by getting in the NBA championship, once they'll do that, I think that will prove they have already the right chemistry and a championship caliber team.

My team Bulls ...another game of massive disappointment and I don't think they have the passion anymore to fight for play-offs spots Sad. Such a sad day for me when I look on Bulls.

They really look bad now, 3 losing streak... they need to start winning games.

Great time for the future franchise players of GSW to shine now that Steph is out and some of the vets could not play on a consistent basis.
....

Voting for the NBA ALL-STAR will start pretty soon. I'm not really into this but I'm looking forward to the young stars that would likely get voted. Zion and Ja are already secured in my opinion and then you have Doncic and Tatum who are still in their early 20's.

This will be very challenging for GSW without their main superstar. They are already struggling and if they will only win 1 out of every 4 games without Curry, it might also mean that they can give up their goal to defend their title this season. But we never know, maybe all of a sudden the team will step up along with its young players.

It is interesting if there will be a new name in the coming All-Stars. Maybe someone from Utah Jazz if they are back in the winning column now that Markannen is playing again.

Yes, let's just see first what they can do in the absence of their main superstar who contributes the biggest points per game. Right now, there's already a lot of opinion that I heard regarding the Warriors situation after Curry's injury, some are saying that the team will crumble in the next games without their star but some also says that the younger players like Wiggins and Poole will start stepping up for the team just like what they did last season. The season have just started, so let's expect the unexpected because the NBA will have a lot of surprises.

They've got a lot of players to cover Steph. Klay, Poole and Wiggins are offensively contributor who they can lean in times like this,
maybe it's not an easy task but they can win game/s.

While Steph is still recovering, coach Kerr needs to balance his players. I'm not sure, but with the way they are playing, it seems that
the chemistries are not blended well.

Players and coaches need to address this before it's too late, not good for the defending champ being out in the upcoming
next round, too early to tell, though.

There's no need to expect from them this time because it is expected that they will be defeated in the first few games after Curry's injury, just like what happened earlier when they faced the 76ers. But the good thing about them is they are learning and they have a good coach who has a vast experience when it comes to these situations as it's not their 1st time as well.

Even if they will get defeated from the most remaining games this year, it's not yet too late for them to recover and climb the ladder towards the top of the Western Conference.

I personally think it's an end of an era with Warriors and they should think to trade some players if they still want Curry to be a on his top level for next year , because this year seems already like a lost one for them.
They are not super strong but they are also not super weak and it's still fun to watch them even with Klay Thompson being inconsistent.
This is where players have a chance to be a star, Jordan Poole, Lamb, DiVincenzo, Kuminga, and we saw Wiseman play again.
I am waiting for Wiggins to be back because I am sure he will try to step up his game while Curry is healing.
My team Bulls ...another game of massive disappointment and I don't think they have the passion anymore to fight for play-offs spots Sad. Such a sad day for me when I look on Bulls.
It's not working right for them. I mean, they may look like a complete roster with a good center, perimeter and outside shooters, and stars but what they lack is the most crucial part of a team, a playmaker or maybe leadership.
With Lonzo Ball missing there's no one to patch that hole. They may be strong individually but chemistry is something that wins championships.

If Curry can't play for 2 weeks, it would be a really big opportunity for other players. If they lose a match because Curry is not playing, they will suffer a huge loss, so the players who will replace Curry must show a very high performance.

2 weeks seems long enough to think but I bumped an article earlier and Steve Kerr said that Stephen Curry will be resting for at least 2-3 weeks to heal his shoulder injury, the MRI shows that his injury is not that serious. So, hopefully he'll be back before Christmas. In the meantime, the rest of the roster should do their job while Curry's away and I do think that they can manage because they've been in this situation last season too.

Poole and Wiggins and Klay all three will have their hands full, I am not sure if all three are uninjured and available to play to be fair, maybe one of them is injured too. But if they are all healthy, the offense will run through these three and they will have to carry the scoring load.

This is a 30+ point guy we are talking about they are missing, so they will combined need to make 30+ more points together, will take more shots of course, but considering how efficient Curry has been, it is going to be hard to do it at the same amount of shooting as well. Plus, the spacing will not be the same, curry gets defences even before half court, whereas these players won't and that's a difference too.

Warriors to begin with have been underperforming this regular, and now having to go several weeks without Stephen Curry will surely put their whole season in a bit of jeopardy, and also given the fact that they're barely clinging to that 10th position, the last in the play-in tournament.

Warriors would in my opinion have been in better shape or situation if they had kept a couple their role players from last season, I'm sure a healthy  Juan Toscano-Anderson, Nemanja Bjelica and Damion Lee will all come in very handy right and will help reduce the amount of work loads on their starters.

I actually think they will be fine without steph.  Think they will gel as a team and Poole will step up.  Gonna take the Poole over in points props most games.  He is going to get a ton of shots and defenses will focus on klay.

They are not fine for losing Curry for several games we know they need his scoring and presence in the court. They are struggling this season and might this will add up to their burden knowing Curry perform very well so they might missed that performance for several weeks of his absence.

And Pool is their another option which is close to curry maybe he will let this guy handle the scoring or they will let Thompson their number one option on that.

And don't forget that the Warriors this season is somewhat defenseless than what they are last season because they freed some people to make room for some things. Now, without Curry playing for the Warriors will make them much more vulnerable for their future games and defeats as their main contributor is injured. And there's Poole who is not that really consistent while Wiggins is also experiencing the same thing too.

Their next game is scheduled versus the Toronto Raptors, I'm already anticipating what would happen in that specific game.

Jist saying my knicks with 6 in a row.  Back to back wins on the road against Chicago.  Their defense has been amazing once thibs has changed to this 9 man rotation.  Quentin grimes taking over the starting sg position has changed the complex of this team.  They might not be championship level but at least they are fun to watch now.  Looking forward to this next month to see which direction they go.

You're right. Davis is a fragile guy, considering he can be injured every time he makes a bad move. So let's hope he won't miss more than a couple of games because of another injury. As for Westbrook's performance this game, he really surprised the Lakers fans. By the way, the funny fact is that it was only his second triple-double this season, and he did the first one just a couple of games ago.

Jimmy Butler plays a pivotal role in Miami, which has won the last three games in a row. He missed only one of these matches, even though his playing status before each match was considered suspicious. The San Antonio Spurs surprised everyone last week with three wins in a row. What can i say, i did not expect this series at all. Among these victories was Miami but unlike other games, the Spurs managed to get significant scoring contributions from many of their players that night. I don't expect Miami to allow the same offensive action. Still, handicaps open above levels we can count on the Heat. So I expect a match that will pass at a reasonable level.

I think the big story from the last Lakers game is LeBron scoring over 30 for his 3rd straight game.  The first old guy to do that since Michael Jordan twenty years ago.  Westbrook played great also though.  It's almost like the Lakers are starting to get it together and might find themselves in the postseason this year.

Not sure about the rumors though. But I think we all agree that Anthony Davis, for whatever reason, he is still very young, but his money is failing him that everything he goes for a rebound and block shots, sometimes you think that he can get injured eventhough it's not a awkward landing.

Westbrook has settled down coming from the bench, and who knows, a MVP and a 6th man of the year? Haven't heard that it has been accomplishment before (I might be wrong though).

They need to perform like this, more games like this where they are allowing Bryant to help. The man has that skill they just need to keep feeding him and he will deliver.

I like how both Dennis and Russ play today. They are aggressive and they are not being intimidated by
LeBron's presence they are deciding what they've thought is right.

The end results favor them and a surprising one since Davis was not there to help them the whole
game.
